Abstract

Abstrak: Dunia pendidikan saat ini tengah menghadapi revolusi industri 4.0, untuk generasi muda perlu persiapan dari segi kemampuan dalam bidang komputer. Bagi siswa SMK, kemampuan yang harus ditingkatkan adalah terampil menggunakan komputer untuk mendesain sebagai pengembangan pada mata pelajaran teknik menggambar. SMKN 1 Bendo merupakan salah satu SMK terbaik di Kabupaten Magetan, sehingga penambahan keterampilan sudah layak dimiliki oleh siswa-siswa pada sekolah tersebut, namum berdasarkan silabus yang ada salah satu pengembangan teknik menggambar masih berupa mata pelajaran CAD (Computer Aided Design). Berdasarkan misi sekolah, satunya adalah mengupayakan mutu layanan pendidikan kejuruan sesuai dengan tuntutan masyarakat dunia usaha dan dunia industri, maka pelatihan tentang teknik menggambar menggunakan komputer perlu ditambahkan secara khusus. Salah satu pengembangan yang diperlukan adalah terampil menggunakan software SolidWork. Para siswa dapat meningkatan keterampilan menggunakan software tersebut dengan mengikuti pelatihan yang diadakan oleh dosen-dosen Teknik Mesin UNESA. Metode pelatihan SolidWork menggunakan metode pembelajaran secara langsung (direct instruction), yang meliputi kegiatan orientasi, presentasi, latihan terstruktur, latihan terbimbing, dan latihan mandiri. Respon siswa terhadap pelatihan SolidWork adalah 97,67% hal tersebut menunjukkan siswa memberikan respon sangat positif.Abstract: The World of Education is currently facing an industrial revolution 4.0, for the younger generation needs preparation in terms of capabilities in the computer field. For vocational students, the ability that must be improved is in using computers to design as a development in drawing engineering subjects. Bendo 1 Vocational School is one of the best Vocational Schools in Magetan Regency, so that the addition of skills is appropriate for students at the school, but based on the syllabus, one of the techniques of drawing is CAD (Computer Aided Design) subjects. Based on the school mission, one of which is to strive for the quality of vocational education services in accordance with the demands of the business community and the industrial world, training on drawing techniques using computers needs to be added specifically. One development that is needed is regarding the ability of students to skillfully use Solidwork software. Students can improve their skills to use the software by attending training held by UNESA Mechanical Engineering lecturers. The SolidWork training method uses the direct instruction method, which includes orientation activities, presentations, structured exercises, guided exercises, and independent training. The response of students to SolidWork training was 97.67%, it shows students gave very positive responses.

Abstract

ABSTRAKPenelitian ini bertujuan untuk meningkatkan aktivitas dan hasil belajar mahasiswa melalui pembelajaran berbasis proyek pada mata kuliah CNC I Program Studi D3 Teknik Mesin Produksi Universitas Negeri Surabaya. Jenis penelitian ini ádalah penelitian tindakan kelas (classroom action research) menggunakan model yang dikembangkan oleh Stephen Kemmis dan Robin McTaggart yang terdiri dari beberapa siklus. Penelitian ini menggunakan siklus dimana setiap siklusnya terdiri dari satu pertemuan. Setiap siklusnya terdapat empat tahapan, yaitu perencanaan (plan), pelaksanaan (act), observasi (observe) dan refleksi (reflect). Subyek penelitian ini yaitu mahasiswa Program Studi D3 Teknik Mesin Produksi yang menempuh mata kuliah CNC I pada semester gasal tahun akademik 2014/2015 yang berjumlah 35 mahasiswa. Metode pengumpulan data yang digunakan dalam penelitian ini yaitu Tes dan Observasi, sedangkan instrumen penelitian yang digunakan adalah pedoman penilaian Taxonomi Bloom meliputi tes kinerja kognitif, psikomotor dan afektif. Data yang terkumpul dianalisis secara deskriptif kuantitatif. Hasil penelitian diperoleh aktivitas mahasiswa pada Siklus Pertama, Siklus Kedua dan Siklus Ketiga diperoleh  persentase 80.53%, 84.12 % dan 88.44% serta skala penilaian 4.03, 4.21 dan 4.37. Hal ini menunjukkan mahasiswa sangat aktif dalam mengikuti model pembelajaran berbasis proyek, dan diartikan bahwa aktivitas mahasiswa pada kegiatan pembelajaran dalam kategori sangat baik. Berdasarkan analisis penilaian hasil belajar mahasiswa dari lembar penilaian kognitif, psikomotor dan afektif pada Siklus Pertama, Siklus Kedua dan Siklus Ketiga  adalah 66.44 dalam kriteria nilai B-, 76.30 dalam kriteria B+ dan 83.37 dalam kriteria nilai A-. Hal ini menunjukkan bahwa pembelajaran berbasis proyek dapat meningkatkan hasil belajar mahasiswa pada mata kuliah CNC I Program Studi D3 Teknik Mesin Produksi Unesa. Kata Kunci: penerapan, pembelajaran. berbasis proyek, CNC, aktivitas, hasil belajar ABSTRACTThis research aims to improve student activity and learning outcomes through project-based learning in the CNC I course of the D3 Production Mechanical Engineering Study Program, State University of Surabaya. This type of research is classroom action research using a model developed by Stephen Kemmis and Robin McTaggart which consists of several cycles. This study uses a cycle where each cycle consists of one meeting. Each cycle has four stages, namely planning (plan), act (act), observe (observe) and reflect (reflect). The subjects of this study were 35 students of the D3 Mechanical Production Engineering Study Program taking the CNC I course in the odd semester of the 2014/2015 academic year. The data collection methods used in this study were tests and observations, while the research instrument used was the Bloom Taxonomy assessment guidelines covering cognitive, psychomotor and affective performance tests. The collected data were analyzed descriptively quantitatively. The results showed that student activity in the first cycle, second cycle and third cycle obtained a percentage of 80.53%, 84.12% and 88.44% as well as a rating scale of 4.03, 4.21 and 4.37. This shows that students are very active in following the project-based learning model, and it means that student activities in learning activities are in the very good category. Based on the analysis of the assessment of student learning outcomes from the cognitive, psychomotor and affective assessment sheets in the first cycle, second cycle and third cycle, it is 66.44 in the criteria for the value of B-, 76.30 in the criteria for B + and 83.37 in the criteria for grade A-. This shows that project-based learning can improve student learning outcomes in the CNC I course of the Unesa Production Mechanical Engineering D3 Study Program. Abstract

This community service activity aimed to improve the quality of basic mechanical engineering learning at Sekolah Indonesia Davao (SID) through the application of innovative and effective learning media. SID has limited access to basic mechanical engineering learning materials, and there is no media that makes it easier to understand the material. To overcome this problem, the community service activity implementation team implemented basic engineering learning media aimed for junior high and high school levels. The implementation methods included identifying partner problems, determining solutions, implementing media, monitoring, and compiling reports. The results of the implementation of this activity showed that the basic mechanical engineering learning media has been handed over to the partner on May 28, 2024, and training on how to operate the media has been carried out. This activity also received a positive response from the partner, because it made a significant contribution to improving the understanding and skills of students at SID in the field of mechanical engineering, as well as strengthening cooperation between Surabaya State University and SID in the field of education.
