Abstract

The purpose of this study is to find out the performance of graduates of Vocational High School competency expertise in engineering light vehicle that has been worked  in the automotive industry, also analyzed the relationship of school accreditation, UKK value and duration of working with performance. The research was held in April 2014 in Surabaya City with the sample in the automotive industry sole agent were 43 graduates of non automotive industry sole agent as much as 59 graduates and use descriptive research as well as quantitative tracer studies. The process of data retrieval  using a questionnaire which has been validated by an experts and scholars have conducted trials to determine the reliability of the instrument and the data were analyzed using multiple regression analyses with normal qualify, linearity, multicollinearity and heteroscedasticity. The results showed satisfactory the performance of vocational graduates. Based on the industry's in graduate work at the automotive industry sole agent better than non automotive industry sole agent. Accreditation of schools does not have a relationship with the performance, because the company accreditation is only use during the initial selection or administration, where the origin graduates accounted for only 10% of a person's success and 90% coming from the rest the quality of individual. UKK score and duration of  work has a significant relationship with performance and Vocational High School graduates, as well as all independent variables together research related to performance. UKK score associated with the performance and capabilities due to an embodiment of the base that is owned by someone, if  its basic capabilities is the ability to both receive and manage information / knowledge would also be good. The duration of work is more dominant due to factors related to the performance of repetitive activities so without realizing that they have received a learning process and settle in their mindset. Abstract

One of the causes of air pollution today is the increasing use of motorized vehicles. The use of technology has also been pinned on many wrong vehicles to improve the quality of the exhaust emissions that have been produced. One of them is EFI (Electronic Fuel Injection) technology which has been embedded in many vehicles. The component that has an effect on improving the quality of exhaust emissions at EFI is an electronic fuel pump. The fuel pressure on the electronic pump can be adjusted manually. This study aims to determine changes in fuel pressure on exhaust gas emission levels. This research uses an experimental method, where the fuel pressure is varied from the pressure of 50psi, 40psi, 30psi and 20psi, and the engine speed is varied from 800rpm, 1500rpm, 2250rpm, 3000rpm and 3750rpm. The results of the data obtained are analyzed using the quantitative description method. The test results showed that there was a decrease in the lowest CO level of 0.663% at 30psi fuel pressure with 3750rpm engine speed. HC also experienced a decrease, the lowest decrease was obtained in the value of 280ppm at 20psi fuel pressure and 3750rpm engine speed. While CO2 has increased, the highest increase of 13.33% was achieved at 20psi fuel pressure and 3750rpm engine speed.

Abstract

The college is one of the create of professional and qualified Human resource.. Universities must develop following the development needs of the business world and the industrial world. The purpose of this study was to analyze the relevance of Mechanical Engineering graduates to the Program Learning Outcome and as material for curriculum evaluation. The subjects of this research were 120 graduates in 2019 and 2020. The technique of collecting data was using a questionnaire through the State University of Surabaya Tracer Study web. The data is then analyzed using quantitative descriptive. As many as 55.83% of alumni are already working, 32.5% are not working, 10% are entrepreneurs, and the rest are continuing their education. The waiting time for graduates to get a first-time job takes an average of 4.49 months. The total relationship between the field of work and the field of education has a very tight, tight and pretty tight relationship of 77.5%. The profile of a mechanical engineering graduate is to become a mechanical engineer. The number of graduates who match the graduate profile is 61.2%. The competence of graduates is still below the competencies needed by the business and industrial. From the data above, we can conclude that graduates from the mechanical engineering study program are relevant to the established Program Learning Outcome.

Abstract

ABSTRAKTatanan pendidikan pasca mewabahnya covid-19 mengalami perubahan yang cukup signifikan. Dunia Pendidikan juga dituntut untuk bisa bersahabat dengan jarak. Dalam pendidikan yang serba terbatas ini pembelajaran daring menjadi satu-satunya pilihan demi terus berlangsungnya usaha mencerdaskan anak bangsa. Pembelajaran daring yang dapat dilakukan salah satunya yaitu dengan pembelajaran daring berbasis vinesa yang dikembangkan oleh Universitas Negeri Surabaya. Metode yang digunakan dalam penelitian ini adalah penelitian kuantitatif dengan pendekatan deskriptif. Penelitian ini mengumpulkan dan menganalisa data langsung yang berasal dari responden sebagai user vinesa kemudian dianalisis dan divalidasi menggunakan metode trianggulasi untuk mendapatkan data yang valid. Penelitian ini menunjukkan bahwa pembelajaran daring berbasis vinesa sangat mudah dan memiliki tampilan yang cukup baik, memiliki tools yang mudah dipahami user, Serta memiliki berbagai macam media materi yang menarik. Namun demikian vinesa juga memiliki kekurangan yaitu penggunaanya cukup memerlukan kuantitas kuota yang cukup banyak                                                                                                                 Kata Kunci: Pembelajaran Daring, Vinesa, Pendidikan Teknik Mesin. ABSTRACTThe educational structure after the Covid-19 outbreak underwent significant changes. The world of education is also required to be friendly with distance. In this limited education, online learning is the only option for continuing efforts to educate the nation's children. One of the ways to do online learning is by using vinesa-based online learning developed by the State University of Surabaya. The method used in this research is quantitative research with a descriptive approach. This study collected and analyzed direct data from respondents as vinesa users then analyzed and validated using the triangulation method to obtain valid data. This research shows that vinesa-based online learning is very easy and has a pretty good appearance, has tools that are easy for users to understand, and has a variety of interesting media materials. Abstract

The implementation of this PKM program aims to solve problems in the production and management aspects of cracker SMEs “UD. JAYA ABADI” owned by M. Subhan Abadi which is located in Tlasih village, Tulangan, Sidoarjo. The production capacity of these cracker SMEs is 400 kg/day. Types of crackers produced include fish crackers, onion crackers, and shrimp crackers. The priority problem in the production aspect of Mitra cracker SMEs is the low productivity (quality and quantity) of the production of mixing the cracker dough and the priority problem in the management aspect is that there is no bookkeeping of business financial flows. The process of mixing the raw material for crackers at the partner cracker SMEs is done manually by hand and trampled underfoot with a production capacity of 50 kg/hour. The solution to solving the priority problems in the production aspect is carried out through the design of the dough mixer machine for raw materials for crackers, semi-automatic, mechanical, electric motors and reducers and solutions to solving financial management problems are carried out through training activities and assistance in accounting for business financial flows using a simple cash book. The results achieved from the implementation of the PKM program are: (1) a semi-automatic mechanical mixer for crackers, an electric motor and a reducer with a production capacity of 500 kg/hour, and (2) the implementation of better financial management, which has been carried out in an orderly manner. business financial flows using a simple cash book.

Abstract

The use of automatic technology in the steel pipe packing process is a small part of the use of technology. There is a bottle neck or imbalance in the bundling process or pipe packing because it is still carried out by human workers with a capacity of 3000 pipe rods per work shift. Pipe packing machines sold in the market have dimensions that do not match the rooms at PT. Steel Pipe Industry of Indonesia, Tbk. The design process for this automatic pipe mill machine uses problem methods, literature studies, machine requirements analysis, design concepts, components, and investment BEP calculations. The result of this planning is a machine design that is obtained with a length of 6500 mm, width of 3852 mm, and height of 1500 mm, using a 1.5 Hp, 1000 Rpm motor. The loading simulation results using the solidworks application show the Yield Strength is 2.039e+008 N/m2. The maximum load limit is 2.9983e+007 N/m2, and the minimum load is 7.331e-004 N/m2, the cycle time of this packing machine is 5 minutes. The maximum limit of the load in the simulation above is no more than the Yield Strength of galvanized steel material so it is safe to lift 36 pipe rods in 1 bundling. And the Break Even Point can be achieved for 6 months.

Abstract

Pasca pandemic, Proses pembelajaran mengalami perubahan yang sangat signifikan, ditambah lagi era globalisasi dan perkembangan teknologi yang sangat pesat menuntut proses pembelajaran juga harus beradaptasi. Penerapan sistem pendidikan mulai mengarah pada hybrid, maka diperlukan kreasi dalam penerapan proses pembelajaran kedepan,. Kemajuan teknologi dapat membuat metode pengajaran alternatif menjadi lebih interaktif untuk mengundang mahasiswa untuk lebih fokus pada pembelajaran. Kemajuan teknologi ini dapat mengirimkan konsep secara visual dan memungkinkan mahasiswa untuk mengasimilasi informasi yang disampaikan. Tujuan dari penelitian ini adalah untuk mengembangkan modul pembelajaran interaktif berbasis web menggunakan canva, menguji kelayaknya, serta menerapkan hasil pengembangan untuk mengetahui hasi belajar siswa. Penelitian ini menggunakan penelitian R&D (Research and development) dengan menggunakan model pengembangan Peter Fenrich. Subjek adalah mahasiswa semester 1 tahun pelajaran 2021-2022 yang memprogram matakuliah teknologi mekanik yang terdiri dari 2 kelas, yaitu kelas ekperimen dan kelas kontrol. Analisis data menggunakan metode kuantitatif dengan menggunakan Uji t 2 sampel. Teknik pengumpulan data dilakukan dengan menggunakan angket dan tes, yang terdiri dari angket kelayakan pengembangan media pembelajaran, tes untuk mengetahui hasil belajar mahasiswa pada penerapan modul pembelajaran interaktif berbasis web menggunakan canva

Abstract

Memasuki era digital seperti sekarang ini, pendidikan perlu menyesuaikan dengan perkembangan teknologi dan kemajuan, dimana potensi teknologi ini dapat menciptakan ruang baru yang dibutuhkan untuk memfasilitasi pembelajaran kegiatan penggunaan TIK dalam aspek pendidikan telah mampu mereformasi proses belajar mengajar. Selain itu TIK telah mampu menciptakan individu untuk dapat belajar dan mengakses sumber belajar di luar sekolah. Penggunaan media secara kreatif dapat memperlancar dan meningktakan efisiensi pembelajaran sehingga tujuan pembelajaran dapat tercapai. Pengembangan media berbasis digital dirasa sangat cocok digunakan untuk mata kuliah praktik AC mobil. Praktik Ac mobil terdapat sub materi berupa kelistrikan AC mobil, dimana mahasiswa banyak yang mengeluhkan kesulitan merangkai dan rasa takut terjadinya kecelakaan kerja misalnya terbakar. Oleh sebab itu maka dikembangkankan media pembelajaran simulasi kelistrikan AC mobil berbasis WEB guna mempermudah dalam belajar dan meningkatkan keefektifan dan hasil belajar mahasiswa. Dipenelitian ini diperoleh media yang dikembangkan mendapatkan predikat “sangat layak” dari validasi ahli media maupun materi. Media sudah di kategorikan sangat layak, maka media tersebut dilakukan penerapan pada kegiatan pembelajaran praktik AC mobil. Setelah dilakukan implementasi didapatkan respon dari mahasiswa “sangat baik”. Mereka merasa sangat puas dalam penggunaan media simulasi dalam mempermudah mempelajari cara merangkai kelistrikan AC mobil. Hasil belajar mahasiswa juga mendapatkan hasil yang sangat memuaskan, dimana 100% mahasiswa mampu menyelesaikan post-test (unjuk kerja). Guna untuk mengetahui efektivitas penggunaan media pembelajaran simulasi dilakukan pengujian N-gain. Hasil yang diperoleh dari perhitungan N-gain adalah efektivitas penggunaan media pembelajaran simulasi dikategorikan “sedang”.

Abstract

Pandemi covid-19 yang berlangsung secara global memiliki banyak dampak di Indonesia, pada sector pendidikan dampak covid-19 mengakibatkan adanya larangan pembelajaran secaralangsung atau tatap muka dan beralih menjadi pembelajaran secara daring. Website e-learning merupakan solusi di dunia pendidikan sebagai layanan yang menawarkan fleksibilitas dan mobilitas yang tinggi dalam pelaksanaan pembelajaran dimasa pandemic covid-19. Tujuan pada penelitian ini untuk mengetahui dan menganalisa respon dan hasil belajar siswa terhadap penerapan website e-learning dalam pembelajaran mata pelajaran PKKR kelas XI TKRO di SMK Negeri 2. Jenis penelitian yang digunakan dalam penelitian ini adalah penelitian kuantitatif dengan melakukan pendekatan eksperimen. Metode yang digunakan dalam penelitian ini adalah eksperimen dengan menggunakan desain Pre-test dan post-test control design. Dalam desain ini terdapat dua kelas yang mana kelas pertama diberi perlakuan (treatment) sedangkan kelas yang lain tidak diberi perlakuan. Sampel berjumlah 64 siswa dari kelas XI TKRO 1 berjumlah 33 siswa dan XI TKRO 2 dengan jumlah 31 siswa. Teknik pengumpulan data diperoleh dari angket respon siswa, pre test dan post test. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa : Respon siswa kelas XI TKRO SMK Negeri 2 Surabaya terhadap pembelajaran online melalui website e-learning adalah “Baik” dengan rata-rata sebesar 66,33%. Serta Penerapan website e-learning dapat meningkatkan hasil belajar siswa dengan nilai ketuntasan klasikal sebesar 61% (Baik).
