Abstract

While the Islamic peer to peer (P2P) lending is useful especially during the present Covid-19 Pandemic, its default risk remains high. In this study, we apply the extended general strain theory to investigate borrowers’ default intention on the Islamic P2P lending during the pandemic period. Using the SEM-PLS method to analyse data gathered from a survey, we find economic pressure and socialization difficulty to be significant in increasing negative affects (life dissatisfaction, perceived unfairness, and inferiority feeling) and hence indirectly affecting the willingness to repay. Further, we find that socialization difficulty does not seem to have direct influences on default intention. Finally, moral norms appear to be a significant moderating factor in the framework. These should contribute to a better scoring system of the Islamic P2P lending.

Abstract

The role of SMEs in supporting the development movement and the Indonesian economy is no longer in doubt. Several times the economic crisis has hit Indonesia, but SMEs can still get through. The flexible nature of SMEs as well as being very vital makes them ideal as an economic driver during difficult situations. But unfortunately, there are still many SMEs that do not have clear and targeted business plans, causing their businesses to not last long. The purpose of community service that will be achieved in this activity is to provide understanding and improve the skills of SMEs actors so that they have the ability to practice compiling business planning and budgets that will be applied to their business, so it is hoped that these SMEs actors can have written guidelines as maps and action plan in running its business. The method used is based on a group approach. The series of activities started from surveys and in-depth interviews to explore problems faced by partners, followed by a coordination meeting of the PkM– community service proposer team to analyze partners' needs and prepare materials. The delivery of material in the form of counseling is carried out online (Zoom meeting), containing: instilling a basic mindset about the importance of making a business plan and the impact of the absence of a business plan, then steps to compile a business plan accompanied by procedures for making a business budget in writing. The material is equipped with examples of business proposals in various business fields so that participants have a clear picture of the form of a business plan. The activity ended with an evaluation of the effectiveness of training through monitoring the implementation of learning outcomes in partners' efforts.

Abstract

The purpose of this community development activity is to equip partner with skills in utilizing  social media accounts  Instagram as a tool for promotion and online sales of potato chip products produced by the partner by online through direct mentoring. The material provided starts from an introduction to the features on Instargam and their functions, and then tutorials in creating interesting content and photos to increase promotions, as well as tips and tricks on how to post and advertise on Instagram. From the results of the mentoring activities, it can be seen that partners are able to make marketing plans and utilize Instagram social media independently. Partners have started to actively update and post regularly with interesting content and captions. The activity ends with the evaluation of  effectiveness activity by monitoring the development of the skills and her business  for three months.

Abstract

Dalam situasi saat ini penjualan secara konvensional terkendala oleh adanya kebijakan social distancing dan phisycal distancing. Untuk itu Tim PkM dari Program Diploma III Keuangan dan Perbankan Syariah merasa perlu memberi bantuan modal dan pendampingan memulai usaha kepada Ibu Rumah Tangga. Mitra yang dipilih adalah Ibu Ira Karsini, warga RT 06/RW 13, Klender, Kecamatan Duren Sawit Jakarta Timur, yang sedang merintis usaha rumahan Produk Camilan Sehat ”Kripik Kentang”. Tujuan kegiatan Abdimas ini agar usaha yang dirintis oleh mitra dapat berjalan dengan baik, sehingga diharapkan dapat membantu perekonomian keluarga. Kegiatan dilakukan melalui pendampingan secara langsung dan monitoring secara daring. Hasil daripada kegiatan PkM ini menunjukkan Mitra semakin memahami pentingnya perencanaan, pencatatan dan manajemen usaha yang baik meskipun masih dengan cara yang sangat sederhana. Mitra telah memiliki perangkat marketing yaitu nama dan logo usaha, banner dan kemasan. Mitra pun telah memiliki akun media sosial sebagai sarana untuk berjualan secara online. Kesimpulan dari kegiatan ini, secara garis besar respon mitra cukup positif dan antusias terhadap materi yang disampaikan, namun masih diperlukan pendampingan lanjutan terutama tentang optimalisasi penggunaan sosial media untuk berjualan online.

Abstract

This research aims to describe, compare and analyze the Sharia Banks’ preferences for selecting Islamic interbank money market instrument in Indonesia to manage their liquidity, what is the reason and research what factors determines market choices in the future. Data collection through in-depth interviews through questionnaires to market participants consisting of 7 Islamic banks representing 97% of all Islamic Banking Institutions in Jakarta. The survey was conducted in October 2017. The empirical analysis tool used in this study is the AHP model based on several criteria for the preferences of market players. The liquidity instruments in the Sharia Interbank Money Market in Indonesia are still lack in variance. Among the 3 (three) instruments available: 1) Interbank Mudharaba Investment Certificate (SiMA), 2) Interbank Sharia Commodity Trading Certificate (SiKA), and 3) Sharia Repo, only SiMA is often transacted. Arguing that: 1) SiMA is most widely known and available in the market; 2) The mechanism of SiMA is not complicated, it‟s simple profit-sharing calculation and bookkeeping also easier; 3) SiMA is relatively easy to run especially for its settlement compared to Sharia Repo and SiKA which require underlying settlement.

Abstract

Meningkatkan nilai tambah produk, saat ini menjadi syarat penting untuk dapat menghadapi persaingan pasar yang semakin ketat. Salah satunya dengan mengolah bahan baku menjadi barang setengah jadi atau produk siap jual. Pondok Pesantren (Ponpes) Madinah Al Hijrah, yang terletak di Kampung Halimun, Desa Cimanuk, Kabupaten Pandegang, Provinsi Banten memiliki potensi alam dan lingkungan yang mendukung untuk pengembangan budidaya pertanian, perikanan, dan produk olahan makanan. Awalnya Ponpes sebagai mitra PkM hanya membudidayakan lele dan menjualnya secara langsung. Berdasarkan identifikasi masalah dirumuskan bahwa dapat meningkatkan nilai jual produk dengan mengolahnya menjadi beberapa produk makanan olahan. Kegiatan PkM ini ditujukan untuk mendukung ide mengembangkan pendapatan ponpes dan meningkatkan keahlian santri, yang difokuskan pada upaya mempertahankan kelangsungan usaha serta meningkatkan kesejahteraan santri melalui penciptaan dan penambahan nilai produk melalui pendekatan ekonomi syariah, manajemen pemasaran, dan akuntansi. Metode pelaksanaan berupa penyuluhan dan simulasi guna memberikan gambaran mengenai proses penciptaan kreasi dan diversifikasi produk makanan olahan yang lebih variatif. Peserta kegiatan sangat antusias, aktif dalam diskusi dan telah memiliki pemahaman serta mampu mengubah pola pikir tradisionalnya menjadi lebih kreatif. Hal ini dibuktikan dengan rencana tindakan berupa diversifikasi produk lele mentah menjadi aneka rupa lele olahan.

Abstract

The purpose of this community service activity is to overcome the problems that are being faced by traders in Tanah Abang regional market, where their turnover dropping drastically during pandemic. The solution offered to solve this problem is by selling on the digital market through social media such as Instagram and Facebook. However, due to their lack of knowledge about digital marketing, learning is needed so that they can use the features that exist in social media applications, including creating marketing content. The activity was carried out by involving one of the communities, namely Tanah Abang Traders Association (HIPTA). The method implementing the activities carried out with a community development model approach is provided in the form of assistance. The results of the activity show that this assistance can be received by participants effectively and participants are being ready to adapt to the digital market.

Abstract

Desa Sidamukti, merupakan salah satu desa di Kecamatan Sukaresmi, Kabupaten Pandeglang, Provinsi Banten. Mayoritas penduduk bekerja sebagai Petani (33%) dan Nelayan (31%). Masalah utama yang dihadapi nelayan adalah banjir rob dan kemiskinan turun-temurun. Hal itu terjadi karena dalam setahun mereka hanya bisa melaut selama empat sampai enam bulan akibat angin barat dan gelombang yang tingginya mencapai hingga sepuluh meter. Saat musim angin topan mereka tidak memiliki mata pencaharian dan membiayai hidupnya dari pinjaman kepada tengkulak dengan bunga yang tinggi. Akibat utang ini, hasil tangkapan ikan harus dijual kepada tengkulak dengan harga murah. Hal ini menyebabkan pendapatan nelayan menjadi rendah, ditambah dengan kenaikan harga solar. Tim pengabdian mencoba memberikan solusi melalui penyuluhan tentang akses dan sumber permodalan selain tengkulak, serta pendampingan dalam pengelolaan lingkungan dengan membangun kafe kontainer yaitu “Cafe Desa Nelayan”. Hasil kegiatan ini berdampak pada peningkatan taraf hidup nelayan. Selain menambah pemahaman akan sumber modal yang lebih aman, mereka memiliki mata pencaharian lain ketika tidak bisa melaut. Hasil tangkapan bisa dijual dengan harga lebih tinggi dari harga tengkulak. Sidamukti Village, is one of the villages in Sukaresmi District, Pandeglang Regency, Banten Province. The majority of the population work as Farmers (33%) and Fishermen (31%). The main problems faced by fishermen are tidal flooding and hereditary poverty. This happens because in a year they can only go to sea for four to six months due to westerly winds and waves that reach up to ten meters in height. During the hurricane season they did not have a livelihood and financed their lives from loans to middlemen with high interest rates. As a result of this debt, fish catches must be sold to middlemen at low prices. This causes fishermen's income to be low, coupled with the increase in diesel prices. The community service team tried to provide a solution through counselling about access and sources of capital other than middlemen, and assisting in environmental management by building a container cafe namely "Cafe Desa Nelayan". These activities have an impact on improving the living standards of fishermen. In addition to increasing understanding of safer sources of capital, they have other livelihoods when unable to go to sea. The catch can be sold at a higher price than the price of middlemen.

Abstract

Peran ibu rumah tangga dalam mengelola keuangan keluarga sangatlah penting. Kesalahan dalam pengelolaan keuangan keluarga bisa berakibat fatal, yaitu tidak tercapainya tujuan keuangan. Tujuan dari kegiatan pengabdian kepada masyarakat ini adalah untuk memberikan edukasi mengenai cara membuat perencanaan keuangan keluarga dan investasi yang sesuai dengan prinsip syariah. Pelatihan diberikan kepada anggota komunitas Al-Amin yang berlokasi di Kelurahan Bakti Jaya, Kecamatan Setu, Tangerang Selatan. Metode pelaksanaan dalam kegiatan ini adalah  Community-Based Participatory Research (CBPR), yang dilakukan secara kolaboratif antara pihak komunitas, dosen, dan mahasiswa. Materi pelatihan yang diberikan meliputi: 1) penjelasan mengenai prinsip perencanaan keuangan keluarga menurut Islam; 2) cara menyusun anggaran keluarga sesuai skala prioritas berdasarkan Maqasid Syariah, dan 3) cara membuat perencanaan  keuangan keluarga dan memilih instrumen investasi syariah. Dari hasil evaluasi sebelum dan sesudah pelatihan, menunjukkan bahwa materi yang diberikan mampu meningkatkan literasi keuangan syariah. Sedangkan hasil evaluasi umpan balik dari peserta menyatakan bahwa  pelatihan ini sangat bermanfaat dan dapat diimplementasikan dalam perencanaan keuangan keluarga muslim.

Abstract

Every higher educational institution has a vision and mission that reflects its goals, identity, core values, and its purpose of existence. This study aims to assess the clarity, realism, and congruency of the vision mission as well as goals and objectives (VMGOs) of the Diploma Study Program in Islamic Finance and Islamic (IFB) Faculty of Economics and Business, Trisakti University of T and understanding, accepted and carried out by all stakeholders. It also evaluates stakeholder engagement in achieving the vision and mission through practical educational activities and practices. The data were quantitatively analysed utilizing mean and standard deviation. The result shows that Diploma IFB’s VMGOs are visible and realistic among the academic community, including lecturers, academic staff, and students. Their level of understanding and acceptability is immense. They also believe that the activity is in line with these statements. The research recommends that more efforts be made in disseminating VMGOs to internal and external stakeholders. The activities need to be more focused to make them feel that the teaching and non-teaching activities are all geared toward achieving the VMGOs
