Abstract

Teknologi internet berkembang dengan pesat khususnya di bidang sistem informasi dan telekomunkasi. Pada dasarnya semua orang yang terhubung ke internet dapat bertukar informasi dan data. Untuk mendukung komunikasi agar berjalan dengan baik, penulis membutuhkan analog terminal adapter yang berfungsi untuk mengubah sinyal analog dari telepon dan mengubahnya kembali menjadi digital sehingga dapat ditransmisikan melalui internet. Dengan melakukan konfigurasi pada server Asterisk, penulis telah menghasilkan komunikasi antara IP-phone dengan IP-phone dan komunikasi antara telepon konvensional dengan IP-phone. Dengan memanfaatkan Private Automatic Branch Exchange (PABX) yang dikonfigurasi pada server Asterisk, maka telepon konvensional dapat terhubung dengan IP-Phone, sehingga sistem PABX secara hybrid dapat diimplementasikan.

Abstract

The Department of Environment, Hygiene, and Parks is an agency that takes care of cleanliness and landscaping in Kediri. The distribution of parks in the Kediri City area is data and managed using a manual system using Microsoft Excel to get results in reports. For this reason, the Department of Environment, Cleanliness, and Parks requires an application that can be used to help manage data on the distribution of parks in the Kediri City area. The required system can manage park distribution data, display a park distribution map, and display the scale of conditions. The Geographic Information System for the Distribution of Parks in the City of Kediri was designed and built to meet the needs of the relevant agencies. Users of this system consist of visitors, admins, and heads of services. The system is designed and implemented using PHP, HTML, CSS, JavaScript, Mysql, and Laravel Framework, then integration with Google Maps API. The final result of this research is a Geographic Information System for the distribution of web-based parks in the City of Kediri using the Google map API as a provider of free maps that are integrated into the website. In addition, of course, it provides information about the distribution of the park and the scale of conditions.

Abstract

Wearable-and-wireless Electrocardiograph (ECG) has been widely used for long term monitoring due to practical reasons. Besides its high Signal to Noise Ratio (SNR), one of patch benefits is its flexibility for users to place the electrodes. However, most of existing commercial wireless ECG patches displays Heart Rate Variability (HRV) only, without ability to provide or record the ECG waveform. Some of them employ two electrodes only: Right Arm (RA) and Left Arm (LA), without additional electrode called Right Arm Drive (RLD). In addition, It is beneficial to provide more than one wireless technology option for ECG patch. We propose a low cost wireless ECG patch that has ability to provide ECG waveform (Lead I) and calculate HRV automatically. Besides RA and LA, it utilized RLD electrode to increase Common Mode Rejection Ratio (CMRR). For data processing, we employed ESP32, a low-power 32-bit microcontroller equipped with Bluetooth Classic (BT), Bluetooth Low Energy (BLE), and Wifi in a compact module. The test results showed that the proposed ECG patch resulted in more accurate HRV calculation as well as 2,7 times faster transition time compared to a commercial product.

Abstract

The dry season in Batam brings the threat of drought. The dry season has an impact in the form of the threat of fires in settlements and protected forests in the Rempang and Galang Islands, Batam. Based on the survey and analysis activities in 2018, it is known that residential areas in Pasir Panjang Village often experience fires, however, residents do not yet have the knowledge and ability to handle early fire disasters. In the 2018 community service activities, socialization was carried out with the Batam City Fire Service, but it had not yet reached the technical realm. Fire handling training is required for residents with fire extinguishers, however, residents' access to this tool is still limited and the price is quite expensive. This activities has produced an application prototype based on augmented reality to simulate the use of a fire extinguisher as a media for educating citizens. The application prototype has been tested and can serve as a training medium for residents. In addition, this community service program also provides training and assistance in handling in a fire disaster.

Abstract

Abstract—Corona Virus Diseases 2019 (COVID-19) has been spread and infected many people in the world. Government issued physical distancing policy and ordered schools and colleges to conduct an online learning to overcome the spread. A transition from conventional to online learning poses new problems such as unpreparedness of educators and students to comply on this situation. One of the factors of unpreparedness is the uneven spread of the internet so that students find it difficult to follow the online learning process. Therefore, there needs to be a proper alternative media selector by educators so that in the delivery of material can be followed by all students. Education about the selection of alternative media online is expected to be a solution for educators in determining the media and methods chosen according to the conditions faced. In general, the results of questionnaire analysis that has been disseminated provide new benefits and knowledge for educators about alternative media online learning process. Thus, educators can determine which media and methods to choose based on their individual circumstances and situations

Abstract

Deafness is a term commonly used to refer to those who have hearing loss. Deaf people are those who experience problems with damage to the ear organs in the hearing process which causes the organ to malfunction properly, so along with the rapid technological advancement, now a learning media has been widely developed using smartphones especially with the Android operating system and can provide many benefits for users. Android operating system is a mobile operating system that is open source or open. Android provides an open platform for developers to create their own applications for use by various mobile / mobile devices. Referring to the problem above, the writer makes a learning medium in the form of word stacking games based on the android "Ocid Scramble" aimed at training deaf people in composing a structured sentence. The game also has a more interesting and interactive interface so that people with hearing impairment can improve their ability to compile a sentence properly and correctly.

Abstract

The increasing reliance on online communication and data storage has made protecting sensitive information a top priority for businesses and individuals. This study investigates the effectiveness of different security protocols in safeguarding databases from external threats. By comparing the performance of databases that use SSL and those that do not, this project provided valuable insights into the importance of securing data in transit and the impact of security protocols on database performance. The results of this research could be helpful for companies and individuals looking to improve the security of their databases and protect sensitive information. These research findings demonstrate that enabling SSL encryption leads to longer average execution times for database operations. This latency can be attributed to the computational workload associated with SSL's encryption and decryption processes. However, the trade-off between performance and security is essential to safeguarding data in transit.

Abstract

Since 2020, when the coronavirus epidemic was at its peak, the Indonesian Ministry of Health's social media accounts have been constantly followed by a big number of individuals. The Indonesian Ministry of Health account is a fantastic resource for social media users, particularly Twitter users. The Republic of Indonesia's Ministry of Health's Twitter account publishes a wide range of content at random. As a result, it is usually difficult for Twitter users to determine the type of information provided by the Ministry of Health of the Republic of Indonesia.  The positive and negative responses of Twitter users to material released by the Indonesian Ministry of Health's Twitter account are frequently noted.  The decision tree algorithm is tree-based, similar to the extreme gradient boosting method (XGBoost). The extreme gradient boosting approach has been successfully implemented with high performance in the classification process. This classification is separated into two primary categories: general and essential information categorization and sentiment analysis, which is classified into three classes: positive, neutral, and negative. Both the classification work and the sentiment analysis produced outstanding accuracy levels. Based on 2243 tweets, an accuracy rate of 89.35% has been achieved for classification, supported by a precision of 88.76% and a recall value of 88.58% when using 80 data training and 20 data testing.  Similarly, the maximum accuracy in sentiment analysis was achieved utilizing the same 80-20 data partitioning, with a 91.22% accuracy rate. Using 304 comments data, accuracy was calculated to be 89.17% and recall was calculated to be 89.06%.  It's worth noting that an 80-20 split for training and testing consistently produced the best results for both the sentiment analysis and classification tasks.

Abstract

Phishing attack works by deceiving the victim so that they give their asset such as credential information to the attacker. The high level of cybercrime in form of phishing after COVID-19 pandemic has increasingly affected. It reaches new quarterly high in late 2022, where there was more than 4.7 million of phishing attacks has been launched, based on Anti-Phishing Work Group (APWG) Phishing Activity Trends Report. The importance of knowledge about phishing awareness is very necessary to minimize the affected victim. In order to decrease the issue, a Cybersecurity Awareness workshop has been conducted at several schools in Batam suburban area; SMK Negeri 1 Batam, SMK Multistudi High School (MHS) Batam, and SMK Negeri 1 Tanjung Pinang. The aim of these activity is to increase cybersecurity public awareness of phishing attack from an early age, especially at schools. As an approach, several activities related to phishing awareness have been executed in a workshop, including phishing simulation as well as socialization. Based on these activities, results shown that phishing awareness has been achieved in average 70% currently at young age.

Abstract

Berkembang pesatnya teknologi saat ini linier dengan semakin banyaknya aplikasi yang dibuat oleh software developer dimana diperlukan implementasi virtualisasi agar program yang dibuat dapat berjalan pada lintas platform dengan berbagai macam konfigurasi. Implementasi virtualisasi ini biasanya membutuhkan resource hardware yang banyak, yang tentunya akan membutuhkan biaya yang cukup besar. Teknologi docker sebagai salah satu platform yang dibangun untuk menjalankan virtualisasi dalam model container, dapat dimanfaatkan untuk membangun virtualisasi sistem operasi atau sebuah web server atau sebuah database server yang tentunya lebih ringan dibandingkan dengan teknik virtualisasi konvensional. Dalam perkembangannya, docker swarm hadir yang dapat berfungsi untuk membantu mengelompokkan container dari docker yang sudah ada untuk mewujudkan suatu private cloud. Scalability dan flexibility merupakan salah satu kelebihan dari cloud computing. Dengan mengkombinasikan docker yang bekerja di private cloud dan resource dari berbagai cloud service provider yang ada di market, diharapkan dapat mengimplementasikan suatu infrastructure hybrid cloud untuk mengatasi keterbatasan resource yang biasanya menjadi kendala pada implementasi virtualisasi di private cloud.
