Abstract

Advokasi pasien merupakan esensi intrinsik dari etika keperawatan professional. Memberikan informasi sebanyak-banyaknya tentang kondisi pasien dan proses kesembuhannya serta membela hak-hak pasien merupakan peran perawat sebagai advokat. Permasalahan advokat yang pernah terjadi di ruang rawat inap RSUD Luwuk Banggai yaitu perawat tidak memberikan alternative pilihan terapi yang bisa dipertimbangkan oleh pasien. Tujuan penelitian ini adalah diketahuinya Pelaksanaan Peran Advokat Perawat Diruang rawat inap Rumah Sakit Umum Daerah Luwuk Banggai Provinsi Sulawesi Tengah. Jenis penelitian ini penelitian deskriptif yaitu suatu penelitian yang dilakukan untuk mengetahui nilai variabel mandiri. Pengumpulan data menggunakan kuesioner. Populasi penelitian ini berjumlah 51 perawat di ruang rawat inap Rumah Sakit Umum Daerah Luwuk Banggai Provinsi Sulawesi Tengah, dengan jumlah 45 perawat, dengan menggunakan Proposional random sampling. Hasil penelitian ini menunjukkan sebagian besar responden dengan pelaksanaan peran baik sebanyak 33 responden (73,3%), pelaksanaan peran cukup berjumlah 12 responden (26,7%) dan pelaksanaan peran kurang nihil. Kesimpulan dalam penelitian ini adalah sebagian besar pelaksanaan peran advokat perawat dalam kategori baik diruang rawat inap Rumah Sakit Umum Daerah Luwuk Banggai Provinsi Sulawesi Tengah. Saran Diharapkan bagi pihak rumah sakit khususnya bagi perawat dapat mempertahankan peran advokat yang sudah baik dan meningkatkan peran perawat yang masih dalam kategori cukup. Selain itu perlu adanya penyegaran tentang topik peran perawat dalam memberikan pelayanan keperawatan tentu akan meningkatkan kualitas pelayanan keperawatan.

Abstract

A person can sleep or not be influenced by several factors, one of which is feelings of anxiety. Anxiety is an individual's response to an unpleasant situation, which describes a state of worry, erratic anxiety. Based on the results of observations and interviews, the results obtained from 4 patients who were treated, 3 of them experienced anxiety and sleep disorders. The purpose of this study was to find out "The Correlation of Anxiety Levels with Patient Sleep Quality in the Inpatient Room of Mokoyurli Hospital, Buol Regency". The research design was analytic design with cross sectional type. The total population is all patients encountered during the study with a sample of 41 respondents. Sampling in this study is by using the proportion estimation formula, the sampling technique used in this study is non-probability sampling by means of Accidental Sampling. The results of the univariate study showed that poor sleep quality was greater in the number of 28 people (68.3%) compared to those who experienced good sleep quality, which was less, amounting to 13 people (31.7%). Moderate anxiety was 23 people (56.1%), while mild anxiety was 18 people (43.9%). Bivariate analysis with Chi Square statistical test with a significant level of (0.05). The results of statistical tests obtained p value = 0.010 which means that p <α (0.05) there is a relationship between anxiety levels and sleep quality of patients in the inpatient ward of the Mokoyurli General Hospital, Buol Regency. The conclusion in this study is that there is a relationship between the level of anxiety and the quality of sleep of patients in the Inpatient Room of the Mokoyurli Regional General Hospital, Buol Regency. It is recommended that the inpatient room environment be further improved in terms of patient comfort

Abstract

Hasil observasi dan wawancara peneliti pada pasien dan perawat bahwa pasien kurang mengikuti dengan baik perawatan post operasi katarak yang di anjurkan oleh dokter sehingga terjadi komplikasi mata mulai memerah, terasa nyeri dan penurunan kemampuan penglihatan. Tujuan penelitian ini diketahuinya hubungan antara pengatahuan dan sikap dengan kepatuhan perawatan pada pasien post operasi katarak di poli mata Rumah sakit Umum Daerah Undata Palu Jenis penelitian adalah penelitian analitik dengan rancangan Cross Sectional. Variable independen yaitu pengatahuan, sikap. Variabel dependen yaitu kepatuhan perawatan pada pasien post operasi katarak. Jenis data yaitu data primer dan sekunder. Analisa data menggunakan analisis univariat dan bivariat dengan uji ChiSquare. Populasi dalam penelitian adalah semua pasien post operasi katarak di Poli Mata RSUD Undata Palu, Sampel berjumlah 43 responden. Menggunakan Teknik Accidental Sampling. Hasil analisis menunjukkan, bahwa ada hubungan pengetahuan dengan kepatuhan perawatan pada pasien post operasi katarak di Poli Mata RSUD Undata Palu dengan nilai p=0,00 (<0,05). Serta ada hubungan sikap dengan kepatuhan perawatan pada pasien post operasi katarak di Poli Mata Rumah RSUD Undata Palu dengan nilai p= 0,01 (<0,05). Abstract

Caring adalah suatu sikap, rasa peduli, hormat dan menghargai orang lain. Observasi Di ruang Perawatan I dan Perawatan II RSUD Tora Belo, 6 orang perawat dalam memberikan asuhan keperawatan lebih kepada pengobatan penyakit dan tindakan medis, perawat juga cenderung berfokus pada menulis laporan dan perawat masih sering mengabaikan pentingnya caring. Penelitian ini bertujuan diketahuinya perilaku caring perawat melalui pengetahuan, sikap dalam memberikan asuhan keperawatan pada pasien di ruang Perawatan I dan Perawatan II RSUD Tora Belo Kabupaten Sigi. Jenis penelitian deskriptif. Jenis data yaitu data Primer dan data Sekunder. Variabel penelitian yaitu pengetahuan dan sikap perawat tentang caring dalam memberikan asuhan keperawatan pada pasien. Analisis dengan menggunakan analisa univariat. Populasi dalam penelitian ini adalah perawat pelaksanan di ruang Perawatan I dan Perawatan II, sebanyak 29 orang. Sampel adalah total populasi. Pengambilan sampel menggunakan teknik purposive sampling yaitu penentuan sampel dengan mengambil subjek atau klien yang memenuhi kriteria. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa dari 29 Perawat di ruang Perawatan I dan Perawatan II memiliki pengetahuan baik yaitu 12 orang (41,4%), cukup 10 orang (34,5%), dan pengetahuan kurang baik yaitu 8 orang (24,1%). Untuk Sikap sebagian besar perawat memiliki sikap cukup 11 orang (37,9%,sikap baik 10 orang (34,5%), dan sikap kurang baik yaitu 8 orang (27,6%). Dapat disimpulkan bahwa, pengetahuan dan sikap perawat tentang caring dalam memberikan asuhan keperawatan pada pasien sebagian besar cukup baik. Saran dalam penelitian ini adalah diharapkan untuk semua perawat pelaksana yang berada di ruang Perawatan I dan Perawatan II RSUD Tora Belo agar dapat lebih meningkatkan kualitas caring pada pasien dalam memberikan asuhan keperawatan, selalu menunjukkan kepedulian dan perhatian, serta memberikan semangat terhadap pasien

Abstract

Perawat yang merupakan petugas kesehatan harus dapat mencegah kecelakaan selama perawatan pasien dan menciptakan keamanan bagi setiap pasien (IOM, 2004 dikutip dalam Wise, 2015). Institute of Medicine dikutip dalam Triwibowo (2013) menyatakan bahwa ada beberapa rangkaian pendekatan dalam mencapai keselamatan pasien antara lain menjamin praktik yang aman bagi pasien dengan cara mengimplementasikan sistem keselamatan pada organisasi dimana kemampuan dalam bidang leadership harus ditingkatkan. Berdasarkan hasil penelitian didapati bahwa ada hubungan antara fungsi manajemen kepala ruangan dengan penerapan patient safety di rumah sakit. Kepemimpinan yang efektif telah terbukti meningkatkan penerapan patient safety. Kepala ruangan yang mampu menjalankan perannya dalam perencanaan, pengorganisasian, pengarahan dan pengendalian dengan efektif akan membuat perawat pelasana dapat bekerja bersama-sama dalam sebuah teamwork untuk mencapai tujuan bersama.

Abstract

Patient satisfaction is an integral part of the mission and goals of the nursing profession because the increasing intensity of global and domestic competencies will improve quality nursing services. The results of the preliminary survey at the Torue Health Center showed that patients were dissatisfied with nursing services because nurses lacked a smile and greeted patients when they met, and it was difficult to find or contact them when needed. The purpose of this study was to determine the relationship between nursing services and patient satisfaction at the Torue Community Health Center, Parigi Moutong Regency.This type of research is analytic (cross sectional). The research variables are nursing services (independent variable) and patient satisfaction (dependent variable). The data used are primary and secondary data. Data analysis used univariate and bivariate analysis with Pearson chi-square test). The study population was all inpatients at the Torue Health Center at the time of the study. A sample of 43 patients was taken by accidental sampling. The results showed that from the statistical test results with chi-square (pearson chi-square) it was found that p value = 0.001 which is less than 0.05. This means that there is a relationship between nursing services and patient satisfaction at the Torue Health Center, Parigi Moutong Regency. The conclusion of the study is that there is a relationship between nursing services and patient satisfaction at the Torue Health Center, Parigi Moutong Regency. Research suggestions are expected for the Torue Health Center to be able to further improve the quality of health services so as to increase patient satisfaction undergoing hospitalization

Abstract

ABSTRAK Salah satu dampak dari adanya Pandemi Covid-19 utamanya bagi dunia pendidikan terpaksa meniadakan pembelajaran langsung. Dusun Ruva merupakan salah Dusun terpencil, yang berada di Kecamatan Palolo, Provinsi Sulawesi Tengah. Anak – anak Sekolah Dasar di Dusun Ruva mendapatkan pendidikan dengan program kelas jauh yang hanya memiliki pengajar satu orang guru. Dimasa pandemi ini, pengajaran tetap dilakukan dengan langsung, akan tetapi kunjungan dari beberapa komunitas pemerhati pendidikan daerah terpencil mulai dibatasi. Kegiatan ekstrakurikuler berupa mewarnai bersama anak-anak SD sebagai dukungan psikologis dimasa pandemik covid-19 di Dusun Ruva, Desa Bakubakulu, Kecamatan Palolo. Metode kegiatan yang digunakan dalam kegiatan pengabdian masyarakat ini dilakukan dengan menggunakan beberapa tahapan, yaitu survei kelompok sasaran, identifikasi kebutuhan program, persiapan sarana dan prasarana kegiatan mewarnai, pelaksanaan dan evaluasi. Hasil evaluasi dilakukan dengan cara observasi kegiatan mewarnai secara keseluruhan terlihat 100% anak bisa mewarnai gambar yang ada. Selanjutnya dipilih 3 gambar yang telah diwarnai dengan tampilan menarik dan rapi. Gambar yang terpilih terdiri dari 2 gambar tumbuhan dan 1 gambar hewan yang diwarnai 90% hampir sama dengan warna sesungguhnya. Adanya kegiatan mewarnai ini dapat dimanfaatkan sebagai momentum untuk  mendukung psikologis anak didik di masa pandemi Covid-19, sehingga kesehatan mental tetap dapat terjaga dengan baik dan harapan anak-anak untuk dapat bersosialisasi dan  peningkatan pengetahuan segera dapat tercapai. Kata Kunci: Anak SD, Pandemi, Mewarnai, Gambar, Psikologis  ABSTRACT One as the impacts of the Covid-19 Pandemic, especially for the world of education was forced to eliminate direct learning. Ruva Village is one of the remote area, which is located in Palolo District, Central Sulawesi Province. Elementary school children in Ruva Village receive education with a remote class program that only has one teacher. During the pandemic, teaching continues to be carried out directly, but visits from some communities of education observers in remote areas are starting to be limited. Extracurricular activities in the form of coloring with elementary school children as psychological support during the covid-19 pandemic in Ruva Village, Bakubakulu, Palolo District. Research Method: The activity method used in this community service activity is carried out using several stages, consist of a survey of the target group, identification of program needs, preparation of facilities and infrastructure for coloring activities, implementation and evaluation. The results of the evaluation were carried out by observing the coloring activities as a whole, it was seen that 100% of the children could color the pictures. Furthermore, 3 images that have been colored with an attractive and neat appearance are selected. The selected images consist of 2 images of plants and 1 image of animals which are colored 90% almost the same as the actual color. The existence of this coloring activity can be used as a momentum to support the psychology of students during the Covid-19 pandemic, so that mental health can be maintained properly and the hope of children to be able to socialize and increase knowledge can soon be achieved. Keywords: Elementary School Children, Pandemic, Coloring, Drawing, Psychological

Abstract

Leprosy has a broad influence on the lives of sufferers not only in terms of health which can cause permanent disability but also causes problems in marriage, employment, interpersonal relationships, and busi-ness activities. The purpose of this study was to gain knowledge and community stigma about leprosy in Ambe-sia Barat Village, Tomini District, Parigi Moutong Regency. This type of research is descriptive. The variables in this study are knowledge and attitudes. The population in this study were all the people of West Ambesia Village who visited the Tinombo Health Center at the time the research was conducted. The sample is 43 re-spondents with accidental sampling technique. The results of this study showed that of the 43 respondents, 81.4% had less knowledge and 14% had good knowledge. People with less stigma are 65.1% and 34.9% have good stigma. The conclusion is that most of the public's knowledge about leprosy has less knowledge and com-munity stigma about leprosy in Ambesia Barat Village, Tomini District, Parigi Moutong Regency, mostly has less stigma. It is hoped that the community will increase their knowledge about leprosy so as not to create a bad stigma in society about leprosy sufferers so that there is no concern for sufferers

Abstract

Abstract: Work motivation is one of the factors that determine a person's performance. The size of the influence of motivation on a person's performance depends on how much motivation intensity is given. The results of a survey conducted by researchers in the operating room of Madani Hospital found that the number of active operating rooms was 7 operating rooms, the average operation per day was 15 patients, if one team had finished working the team seemed to be looking for excuses so they did not want to help other teams who still had patients. The purpose of the study was to determine the factors that influence nurse work motivation. This type of research is quantitative research with research design used cross sectioanal research design with a sample size of 35 nurses. The research was conducted at Madani Hospital. Data analysis used chi square test analysis. The results showed there was a relationship between tenure (p value: 0.031) and workload (p value: 0.022) on work motivation. It is recommended for hospital management to evaluate the performance, workload of health workers through internal meetings and build good organizational commitment in creating a conducive work ethic.Keywords: Workload, Motivation, Nurses

Abstract

Introduction:  The prevalence of dementia in the elderly continues to increase and the need for appropriate interventions, one therapy that can be used is cognitive stimulation therapy (CST). The aim of this study was to analyze the level of evidence on the effectiveness of cognitive simulation therapy for elderly people with dementia.Methods: The systematic review of this study pays attention to the inclusion criteria, namely articles in English, using cognitive stimulation therapy interventions in the study and the population is the elderly. Articles sourced from the electronic databases Scopus, PubMed, Science Direct, Scholar, and ProQuest, were identified as appropriate and relevant to this topic. Fifteen research studies were selected and analyzed because they qualify as review articles for systematic review.Results: Thirteen studies were Randomized Control Trial (RCT), one controlled clinical trial and one group pretest-posttest. The results showed that CST was very influential on memory, language comprehension, and orientation for cognitive improvement in mild to moderate dementia. CST should be done periodically to get good results. In addition, the effect of CST may differ according to what factors are emphasized in the program.Conclusion: CST in the elderly with mild to moderate dementia can significantly improve overall cognitive function.
