Abstract

The responsibility of learning is a students ' awareness about their duties that must be implemented in order to meet the learning needs, while learning responsibility include tasks with a trustworthy, Independent and able to take responsibility over their duties to achieve an optimal award. The phenomenon that researchers has found to show some students have a low learning responsibility. The purpose of this study was to test the effectiveness of reality counseling to enhance the students ' responsibility. This study uses a pre-experimental design with the kind of One Group Pre-test and post-test. Subjects in this study were 5 students. This research instrument using a scale liable student learning and counseling guidelines reality. The data analysis technique used is Wilcoxon's Signed Rank Test . Counseling reality effectively to improve student learning responsibility. The results of post-test students in completing the learning responsibility scale after treatment is greater than or increased from the pre-test (17.05 pre-tests and post-test is 22.85 ). Wilcoxon tests results showed the Sig . (2-tailed ) was 0.042 <0.05 its means the reality counseling effective to improve student learning responsibility

Abstract

The present study aimed at enhancing students' learning motivation using bibliocounseling technique. This was a pre-experimental study with one group pretest-posttest design. The subjects of the study were 11th grade students of a Senior High School. They were selected through purposive random sampling. The instrument of the study consisted of learning motivation scale and observation guide. The data of the study were analyzed by descriptive analysis and Wilcoxon test. The result of the study showed that there was a difference between the score of pre-test and post-test, there was a 37% increase from the category of intermediate into high. While, the result of statistical analysis on the Wilcoxon test exhibited the significance value of 0.011 < 0.05, in other words, there is differences between pre- and post- treatment, therefore, the proposed hypothesis was accepted. The result of the study showed that the subjects experienced learning motivation improvement because he/she implemented bibliocounseling. Therefore, it could be concluded that bibliocounseling technique is effective to improve students’ learning motivation.

Abstract

This research aims to: 1) to know level of student empathy before the application of bibliokonseling techniques, 2) to know level of student empathy after the application of bibliokonseling techniques and 3) to know effectiveness from bibliocounseling techniques. This research using the experimental method with design of one group pretest-posttest designs type pre-experimental research, research samples amounted to 5 students who were netted using purposive sampling techniques. This research instrument is an empathy scale. Data analysis using Wilcoxon non parametric test statistics. The results of research show that 1) level of student empathy before using bibliokonseling techniques in the low category, 2) after bibliokonseling techniques level of student empathy become a high category, 3) bibliokonseling techniques effective to increase student empathy. Based on the results of this research then it is recommended: 1) for counselors in using bibliocounseling techniques as an alternative for student to have low empathy, counselor can use bibliokonseling ingredients are in accordance with student problem, 2) for other researchers can develop a bibliokonseling techniques guide book.

Abstract

Specifically, this research aims to know the effectiveness of REBT Group Counseling to improve the self-esteem of college students. The subjects in this research were students of the faculty of science education force in 2015 identified as having the characteristics of low self esteem. The population in this research is 742 people consisting of 5 courses. A sample of members of the population use purposive sampling techniques. The research instrument used treatment material in the form of the implementation guidelines REBT group counseling and self-esteem scale that Rosenberg's self-esteem scale which has proven validity and reliability. The conclusion in this research is 1) There is an increase in self-esteem from 100% of college students have low self-esteem after being given the results obtained REBT group counseling 40% of college students in the moderate category and 60% in the high category. 2) Self-esteem increased after the college students is given REBT group counseling or could mean that the effective group counseling to improve the self-esteem of college students.The suggestion in this research is: 1) The suggestions for counseling and testing centers that REBT group counseling can be used as an help for students in problem solving. 2) The suggestion for further researcher is for further research in order to apply the techniques that are diverse in the REBT group counseling.

Abstract

Delivery of words and verbal sentences are mental or psychological harm someone who was the target of an aggressive, such as snap, insult, humiliate, cursing, mocking, angry, and threatens. The use of the technique of sosiodrama aims to develop students ' cognitive and affective aspects so that in addition to studying the behavior of new students also have an understanding of good behavior and less good. This research aims to find out if the technique sosiodrama effective to reduce aggressive behavior in verbal students. The subject in this study amounted to 11 children. The method used is an experiment with the design of one group pretest – posttest design. The collected data is analyzed with a Wilcoxon. The results showed an average pretest score of 135.5 categories include very high, while the average scores posttest of 106.6 categories include medium, means there is a decrease. Wilcoxon test obtained based on the value significance of 0.003 0.05 sosiodrama technique < effective to reduce aggressive behavior in Junior High School students verbal Country 5 Kepanjen.

Abstract

The high anxiety level of students when facing the National Exam Computer-Based (UNBN ) caused the negative effect. Which come from the internal and external factor. The formulation of the problem is how much anxiety level of students when facing the UNBK, the purpose of this study is to know the anxiety of students when facing UNBK. The respondents are 44 students from grade 12 the majority of Computer and network technic year 2015-2016. The result of the research showed 7% of the students has low level of anxiety, 77% of the students have an average level of anxiety and 16% of the students have high level of anxiety. Variably, level of anxiety divided into 3 they are realistic anxiety, neurotic anxiety and moral anxiety. The result based on the sub variable is the reality anxiety showed 16% of students in the low level, 59% in average level and 25% in high level. While the neurotic anxiety showed 2% in low level, 59% in average level and 25% in high level. The last, morality anxiety showed 27% in low level, 61% in average level and 11% in high level.

Abstract

Altruism is a voluntary action taken by a person or group of people to help others without expecting anything in return. This study aims to test the Effectiveness of Cinema Therapy Techniques to Improve the Altruistic Attitudes of SMPN 1 Gondanglegi Students in Malang Regency. This research is an experimental study with a one-group pretest-posttest village design and uses a Likert scale instrument. The sample of this study is junior high school students who have low altruistic attitude criteria by choosing through quota sampling technique where students who meet only the criteria will be selected, Wilcoxon Sign Rank Test data analysis, research showing the results of sig. (2-tailed) is 0.012 which indicates that 0.012 <0.05, which means that cinema therapy technique is effective to improve the altruistic attitude of VIII grade students of SMP N 1 Gondanglegi Malang Regency which is subjected to truth and can be accepted at a significant level of 5%.

Abstract

 ABSTRACTThis study aims to: 1) determine the level of student’s social intelligence before the application of bibliocounseling technique, 2) determine the level of student’s social intelligence after the application of bibliocounseling technique, and 3) determine the effectiveness of bibliocounseling technique in improving student’s social intelligence. This research used quantitative approach with pretest and posttest quasi-experimental design withs samples of 12 students who were netted using purposive sampling techniques. The research instrument used is the scale of social intelligence. The data were analyzed using Wilcoxon non parametric test statistics. The results show that 1) the level of student’s social intelligence before receiving bibliocounseling technique were in the low category, 2) after using the bibliocounseling technique, the level of student’s empathy had shifted to the high category, 3) bibliocounseling technique were proven to be effective in improving students' social intelligence. Suggestions submitted in this study are: 1) for counselors to use bibliocounseling technique as one of alternative strategy to help high-school students to have a qualified social intelligence, 2) high-school counselors can implement bibliocounseling materials that are conform with students' social intelligence problems, 3) other researchers could develops bibliocounseling guidebook that based on the technique implemented in this research.

Abstract

This research is an experimental study with a pretest posttest design, namely applying bibiliocounseling in the form of comics for the treatment given to research subjects. The research subjects were students of class VIII SMP through the selection of purposive sampling technique by taking 2 students from 5 classes who lacked career recognition. This research consists of problem identification, goal setting, counselee identification, bibliocounseling analysis, writing the initial draft of bibliocounseling material, peer evaluation, expert evaluation, development, experimentation, and evaluation. However, the researchers discussed more about the experimental results. The evaluation used is the evaluation of workmanship and evaluation of results. The data obtained in this study were reviewed with Wilcoxon, then continued with the discussion obtained from the results of evaluation and observation during experimental research. The results of the pretest showed an average score in the low to average category, this indicates that the bibliocounseling technique in the form of comics has succeeded in improving students' career recognition skills, which can be seen from the comparison of pre and post test scores. score. This means that bibliocounseling in the form of comics can improve the ability to recognize careers, which are in accordance with the abilities and desires of the ten research subjects. The suggestion given by the researcher is that the use of bibliocounseling is improved because this method is very popular with students, especially in the form of comics that can reveal to understand careers and methods of choosing a career that suits the students themselves. For researchers who want to conduct bibliocounseling research, it is better to adjust the variety of bibliocounseling that will be used, according to the characteristics of students who are research subjects.

Abstract

This study aims to develop a group counseling guide for behavioral modeling techniques to increase student entrepreneurial interest because unemployment is the biggest problem faced nationally so the importance of Guidance and Counseling for students can be carried out in order to maximize entrepreneurial potential and minimize unemployment rate that is being faced by the nation. Indonesia prioritizes students from Alor Regency, East Nusa Tenggara Province. This type of development uses the ADDIE model which is still in the Develop stage or developing the design to become a finished product. The research instruments included a needs questionnaire, an interview guide, a student entrepreneurial interest scale, an assessment format for group counseling guidelines, and behavioral modeling techniques. There are three stages in assessing the validity and reliability of this behavioral modeling technique group counseling guide: testing the validity of Guidance and Counseling material experts, testing the validity of Guidance and Counseling media experts, and testing the validity of entrepreneurship experts. The expert validity assessment shows that the development of a guide to preparing students for entrepreneurship using group counseling behavioral modeling techniques shows that it is appropriate, functional, and easy to use.
