Abstract

Mental Health and Psychosocial Support is a mental health effort for disaster survivors. Psychiatric nurses have competence in conducting it in every disaster situation. A refuge is a place for community service activities for mental nurses. Earthquake survivors who live in evacuation shelters are among the vulnerable groups experiencing mental health problems. There is a risk of mental health problems and survivors' psychosocial well-being requiring intervention from nurses. Mental health and psychosocial support by nurses can detect and prevent mental health problems and increase survivors' mental health resilience. Community service activities for natural disasters in Cianjur aim to detect early mental health problems and improve knowledge and skills in managing stress. Activities carried out in the form of group and individual mental nursing interventions. The method used is detecting mental health problems using the Self Report Questionnaire-20 (SRQ-20), providing health education through lectures, discussions and training skills regarding stress management. Activities were carried out in 4 batches and - each batch for two days. The number of survivors aged 18 and over who were intervened was 418 people from 4 villages in Cianjur Regency. The results of the SRQ-20 measurement show that 70.1% of survivors experience mental and emotional disorders. Evaluation of activities orally survivors could answer questions and demonstrate the stress management method given. Mental health and psychosocial support (DKJPS) is a standard mental nursing intervention in disaster mental nursing care. DKJPS can be applied to the practice of disaster mental nursing collaboratively by involving various scientific disciplines of nursing in the disaster area.

Abstract

Abstract Background: The risk of violent behavior is an act that is capable of causing physical, emotional and sexual violence both to oneself and others. In controlling violent behavior can be done non-pharmacologically, namely with progressive muscle relaxation therapy. The benefits of progressive muscle relaxation are to provide a relaxed and calm feeling in the body. PKJN Marzoeki Mahdi Mental Hospital Boggor noted that patients with a risk of violent behavior in the Bratasena room during the last three months were 29.62%. Objective: To get the opportunity to provide nursing care and perform progressive muscle relaxation therapy in patients with the risk of violent behavior. Methods: The descriptive method is that the author is able to describe the patient with a form of nursing care starting from assessment to nursing evaluation using applied practice techniques supported by the real conditions of patients in the field. Results: It is hoped that the patient will be able to perform progressive muscle relaxation therapy 1x a day sequentially from head to toe with a duration of 10-15 minutes after application for 3 consecutive days, it is hoped that the patient will experience a decrease in signs of violent behavior, such as the tone of speech is not high, hands are not clenched, and the face is not red. Abstract

Aims: All students and educators who implement the learning process require time for the adaptation process in its application. Learning is mandatory for all institutions during the Covid-19 pandemic, despite the many obstacles that occur. The implementation of online learning in fact makes students stressed because students have to carry out an adaptation process including the technology obtained is still not optimal, network conditions are unstable, spending to facilitate learning is increasing, so that psychological problems arise. Objective: to analyze the stress level of nursing students during online learning during the Covid-19 pandemic at the Pasar Rebo Nursing Academy. Methods: quantitative descriptive. Research with a total sampling of 140 samples but 2 people refused because they were not willing to fill out the questionnaire Results: The results showed that most of the female respondents (84.8%), with an average age (20 years: 28.98%) with a high level of stress experienced by students experienced moderate stress (86.95%). Conclusion: Nursing students who carried out online learning during the Covid-19 pandemic at the Pasar Rebo Nursing Academy, mostly experienced moderate stress as many as 120 students, 17 students experienced mild stress and 1 student experienced severe stress.

Abstract

Background: Hallucinations are a common symptom in schizophrenia patients which if left untreated can harm themselves and others. Hallucinations are a mental disorder that affects more than 21 million people worldwide and it is estimated that up to 400 thousand people experience hallucinations in Indonesia. Classical music therapy as a form of complementary therapy that has been proven effective in reducing signs and symptoms and increasing patients ability to control them. Classical music works by creating a relaxing effect and stimulating positive hormones that help emotional stability, therefore, this therapy is a effective non-pharmacological alternative in managing hallucination symptoms. Objective: To determine the effect of classical music on reducing signs and symptoms and the ability to control in hallucination patients. Method: The search strategy was carried out through Google Scholar with journals published in 2020-2025. The research method used was a literature review based on analysis and synthesis of previously existing studies with a total of five articles published in 2020-2025. Results: Literature review shows that classical music therapy has an effect on reducing signs and symptoms and the ability to control in hallucinatory patients. Conclusion: Classical music therapy can be used as a complementary therapy to reduce signs and symptoms and increase the ability to control in hallucinatory patients.
