Abstract

The integration of the Internet of Things (IoT) and Machine Learning (ML) offers significant potential in developing the Smart School concept. IoT technology enables real-time data collection from various devices within the school environment, while ML analyzes this data to provide valuable insights. This study explores the role of IoT in monitoring aspects such as student attendance, energy consumption, and school security, alongside the application of ML to enhance operational efficiency and learning quality. The outcomes of this integration include resource optimization, early problem detection, and personalized teaching-learning processes. The paper also evaluates challenges such as data security and technological infrastructure and provides recommendations for effective implementation. With a holistic approach, this research aims to guide schools in adopting smart technologies to support more effective, secure, and sustainable education.

Abstract

The level of electrical energy demand in an area reflects the welfare of that community. The greater the use of electrical energy, the higher the community's standard of living, followed by the public's critical attitude towards everything that happens and influences lives, including electricity services. Generally, a network's reliability level can be seen from the size of the SAIDI and SAIFI values on the PLN (state electricity company) side. The calculation and reliability analysis results of the Lhokseumawe ULP above show that the total SAIFI index value is 2.68 times/year. The SAIFI Rayon Lhokseumawe reliability index is categorized as reliable because its value does not exceed the standard set by PLN in SPLN 68-2 of 1986, namely 3.2 times/year. The total value of the SAIDI index is 45.30 hours/year. The Lhokseumawe Rayon SAIDI reliability index is categorized as unreliable because its value exceeds the standard set by PLN in SPLN 68-2 of 1986, namely 21 hours/year. There are certainly differences in infrastructure, electrical equipment, and number of customers in 1986 compared to current years; this has a different influence on electricity reliability values such as SAIDI and SAIFI.

Abstract

In educational institutions, occupational safety and health are significant issues. Students and institutions may suffer losses as a result of accidents and issues with occupational health. Thus, it's critical that pupils have comprehensive understanding of K3. SMK Negeri 5 Telkom Banda Aceh observations revealed a deficiency in instructional resources for K3 instruction. Therefore, the goal of the research is to use the ADDIE model (Analysis, Design, Development, Implementation, and Evaluation) in conjunction with the Research and Development (R&D) technique to design an Occupational Safety and Health Module. Student response questionnaires, validation questionnaires from media experts, and material experts were used in the data collection process. According to the research findings, 92.5% of material experts and 77.5% of media experts believe that the K3 module is adequate from a media standpoint. Student responses also attain a score of 92.4%, suggesting that the K3 module is appropriate for use in education. In summary, the K3 module has emerged as a highly successful educational tool for maximizing students' engagement with K3.

Abstract

Vocational high school curriculum aimed to prepare pupils for careers in specific industries. Student learning results are significantly impacted by the vocational school learning process. Students' comprehension at SMKN 1 Lhoknga is still deficient since the learning model used is not as effective in maximizing the growth of students' understanding. Applying the Think Pair Share learning paradigm, which is in line with the learner-centered curriculum, is one option to solve this issue. This study employs a quantitative methodology and involved 27 pupils in class X TITL SMKN 1 Lhoknga. Questionnaires and observation sheets are the tools employed. The findings demonstrated that, according to the Think Pair Share learning model, students' average level of activity was 79, with a trend of 79 > 73.3, placing them in the very high category. The percentage of students who responded is 77.04%. it can be concluded that the utilization of the Think Pair Share approach can raise students' engagement with basic electrical materials, according to the study's findings.
