Abstract

The purpose of this PKM is to improve the welfare of target housewives through management, production, marketing and community assistance in making shredded salted fish made from grouper fish. The method applied is in the form of production technology transfer, packaging, marketing, business financial accounting management, website creation and business partnerships with users. PKM is carried out in production houses owned by the community independently. The results of the PKM are in the form of production of shredded salted fish made from grouper by housewives with the skills and capabilities of production, marketing, and financial management that are carried out independently. The group already has marketing partners and permanent raw material sourcing partners. Their product of shredded salted grouper is named Assahra. This business has at least provided new jobs for ± 7 housewives, including additional income for them. The conclusion from this PKM activity is that the production of shredded Assahra grouper is feasible to continue and can be managed independently by the target community, providing new work barriers, additional income and the product of shredded salted grouper is favored by consumers.

Abstract

Synthesis of silver nanoparticles has been successfully carried out using extracts of cocoa pod (Theobroma cacao L). Silver nanoparticles were synthesized using the green synthesis method. Biosynthesis was carried out by mixing 1 mM 40 ml AgNO3 solution with 0.5 ml of cocoa pod husk extract, stirring for 1 minute, after a few minutes the solution will change color from yellowish to dark colored, the color change that occurs shows the ion reduction process so that silver nanoparticles are formed. When silver nanoparticles are formed, the UV-Vis absorption spectrum is at a wavelength between 400-500 nm. Characterization and stability using a UV-Vis spectrophotometer with a time variation of 4 hours, 24 hours, 3 days and 7 days of reduction time. With increasing time the resulting long wave gets higher and bigger the size of the aggregation. Sample (1) shows 446, 446, 446, 447.5 nm, obtained a maximum wavelength of 447.5 nm, repeated repetition is labeled sample (2) shows 447, 446.5, 450, 449.5 nm with a maximum wavelength of 495 , 5 nm seen from the wavelength value tends to be stable so there is no need to add a stabilizing agent. The absorbance value increases with time, the greater the absorbance value, the more nanoparticles formed

Abstract

ABSTRAK Jamu merupakan salah satu obat bahan alam Indonesia dengan presentase konsumen sebanyak 59,12%. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengidentifikasi adanya Bahan Kimia Obat Fenilbutazon dalam sediaan jamu rematik yang beredar di kota Manado. Telah dilakukan penelitian tentang identifikasi Fenilbutazon dalam jamu rematik dengan metode Kromatografi Lapis Tipis (KLT). Fase gerak yang di gunakan pada KLT ialah n-Heksan : kloroform : metanol (60:30:10) dan fase diam yang digunakan ialah pelat KLT silika gel GF254 dengan menggunakan penyemprotan H2SO4 10% untuk menampakan bercak. Hasil penelitian yang didapatkan pada pelat KLT, nilai Rf standar Fenilbutazon yaitu 0,51 sedangkan sampel tidak muncul bercak sehingga nilai Rf-nya yaitu 0. Hal ini menunjukan bahwa pada sediaan jamu rematik tersebut tidak mengandung Fenilbutazon.

Abstract

The potential uses of ecologically benign nickel nanoparticle manufacturing in various sectors, such as biomedicine, energy storage, and catalysis, have garnered much interest. This paper covers green approaches to nickel nanoparticle manufacturing, which integrate natural substances as stabilizing and reducing agents with eco-friendly processes. Phytochemicals derived from bacteria, microorganisms, and plant leaf extracts can convert nickel ions (Ni2+) into nickel nanoparticles. Room temperature is used for the synthesis procedure, and neither dangerous compounds nor unusual reaction conditions are used. Using a variety of analytical methods, the resultant nickel nanoparticles were characterized. We also investigate the possibility of using the generated nickel nanoparticles as a cytotoxic, photocatalytic, antioxidant, and antibacterial agents. The antimicrobial activity of nickel nanoparticles demonstrates their potent antibacterial properties, while their antioxidant activity demonstrates their capacity to combat free radicals effectively. Furthermore, nickel nanoparticles' cytotoxic activity demonstrates their capacity to kill cancer cells, and their photocatalytic activity demonstrates their efficiency in breaking down organic contaminants. This review highlights the value of ecologically benign synthetic methods and creates new avenues for developing nickel nanoparticle applications in health and the environment.

Abstract

Masa pandemi Covid-19 mengakibatkan banyak perubahan yang terjadi, salah satu dampak perubahannya adalah proses pembelajaran harus dilakukan secara online. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk menghasilkan dan mengimplementasikan ruangkuliahku.com sebagai alat bantu (tools) model pembelajaran e-learning serta melakukan evaluasi efektifitasnya. Metode penelitian yang digunakan adalah metode penelitian tindakan. Metode pengembangan sistem menggunakan metode waterfall. Hasil dari pengujian fungsionalitas yang dilakukan sebanyak 5 kali menyatakan bahwa semua fungsi bisa digunakan dengan baik, dengan persentase keberhasilan sebesar 100%. Hasil pengujian user interface dan konten menunjukkan tingkat kelayakan 100%. Evaluasi efektifitas penggunaan ruangkuliahku.com sebagai tools model pembelajaran e-learning dilakukan oleh pengguna sistem. dari hasil evaluasi menyatakan persentase rata-rata tingkat efektifitas ruangkuliahku.com sebagai tools model pembelajaran e-learning adalah sebesar 97,59%.  Kata-kunci: e-learning, ,pandemic_Covid-19, ruangkuliahku.com

Abstract

Air limbah domestik menjadi salah satu penyebab pencemaran lingkungan, terutama karena tingginya kadar Chemical Oxygen Demand (COD) dan rendahnya Dissolved Oxygen (DO). Salah satu metode alami yang dapat digunakan untuk mengatasi pencemaran ini adalah fitoremediasi dengan tanaman kangkung air (Ipomoea aquatica). Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk menganalisis efektivitas kangkung air dalam menurunkan kadar COD dan meningkatkan nilai DO di Instalasi Pengolahan Air Limbah (IPAL) UPTD Laboratorium Lingkungan Dinas Lingkungan Hidup Provinsi Sulawesi Barat. Penelitian dilakukan dengan metode eksperimental, menggunakan variasi waktu kontak 5, 10, 15, 20, dan 25 hari. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa kadar COD mengalami penurunan sebesar 78,12%, sedangkan DO meningkat hingga 196,76%. Uji statistik menunjukkan bahwa perbedaan sebelum dan sesudah fitoremediasi bersifat signifikan (p < 0,05). Dengan demikian, fitoremediasi menggunakan kangkung air terbukti efektif dalam memperbaiki kualitas air limbah domestik, sehingga dapat menjadi solusi alternatif yang ramah lingkungan dan ekonomis dalam pengelolaan air limbah.

Abstract

This study aims to evaluate the effect of coal demineralization with the addition of rice husk adsorbent on the potential formation of slagging and fouling. The demineralization process was carried out by mixing coal and rice husk at various ratios (100:0 to 50:50), followed by analysis of total sulfur content using a LECO S832 DR Sulfur Analyzer and ash mineral composition using an AAS Varian AA240 SF. The results showed that adding rice husk significantly reduced the sulfur content of coal by up to 50% and decreased the slagging (Rs) and fouling (Rf) indices from medium/high to low categories. Increasing the rice husk ratio also raised SiO₂ content while reducing Al₂O₃, Fe₂O₃, CaO, and MgO concentrations. It is concluded that rice husk is an effective adsorbent for coal demineralization, capable of lowering sulfur content and mitigating slagging and fouling potential, thereby improving combustion efficiency and reliability in boiler systems.
