Abstract

Perkembangan teknologi informasi yang terjadi saat ini menjadikan semua lebih mudah karena adanya website yang dapat dimanfaatkan pada proses administrasi. Layanan suatu sistem informasi kearsipan berbasis website perlu dilakukan pengukuran atau evaluasi untuk mengidentifikasi kualitas website yang telah digunakan. Dalam penelitian ini, kualitas website Sistem Informasi Kearsipan Dinamis (SIKD) diukur dengan menggunakan metode WebQual 4.0 yang merupakan suatu indikator yang digunakan sebagai dasar penilaian kualitas website berdasarkan persepsi pengguna akhir. Penelitian ini memiliki populasi yaitu mahasiswa program studi Perpustakaan dan Sains Informasi Universitas Pendidikan Indonesia (UPI) dengan teknik pengambilan sampel yang digunakan adalah purposive sampling sehingga terhitung 77 mahasiswa. Metode yang digunakan dalam penelitian ini adalah metode action research dengan pengumpulan data melalui penyebaran kuesioner. Penelitian ini dilakukan untuk mendeskripsikan kualitas website SIKD yang digunakan oleh pegawai UPI untuk memudahkan dalam kegiatan birokrasi dan/atau interaksi pengelolaan arsip dinamis. Hasil dari penelitian berdasarkan tiga aspek, yaitu usability (kegunaan), information quality (kualitas informasi), service interaction quality (kualitas interaksi dan layanan) website SIKD UPI berada pada kategori baik. Jadi dapat disimpulkan bahwa SIKD yang digunakan pada proses administrasi di UPI memiliki kualitas yang baik, tetapi perlu ditingkatkan sehingga dapat berfungsi dengan lebih baik.

Abstract

Educational technology is a field of science engaged in study and practice in facilitating learning, managing resources and processes, and improving performance. The profession and scope of work for educational technology graduates are wide and varied. Still, many educational technology graduates work in the education sector, especially as vocational high school teachers. Regarding this, of course, there is a lot of experience and knowledge related to educational technology that must be applied to the scope of learning. So, studies and research were designed regarding applying educational technology science to the teaching profession in vocational high schools. The analysis was carried out using a descriptive qualitative approach by collecting data through interviews with several graduates of educational technology who work as teachers in vocational high schools. Interviews were conducted to determine the challenges of educational technology graduates, the application of educational technology science, and the code of ethics in schools. The results obtained are that educational technology graduates have a strong foundation and study in managing and facilitating learning so that teachers of educational technology graduates can easily apply knowledge and a code of ethics within the scope of vocational high schools. It can be concluded that the application of educational technology science to the teaching profession in vocational high schools is well and optimally applied regarding the application of knowledge, the applicable code of ethics, and the constraints and challenges faced. AbstrakTeknologi pendidikan merupakan suatu bidang ilmu yang bergerak pada studi dan praktis dalam memfasilitasi pembelajaran, pengelolaan sumber dan proses, serta peningkatan kinerja. Profesi dan ruang lingkup pekerjaan lulusan teknologi pendidikan sangat luas dan beragam, tetapi tidak sedikit juga lulusan teknologi pendidikan yang bekerja pada bidang pendidikan, terutama sebagai guru sekolah menengah kejuruan. Berangkat dari hal tersebut, tentu banyak pengalaman dan ilmu terkait teknologi pendidikan yang harus diterapkan pada ruang lingkup pembelajaran. Maka, dirancanglah studi dan penelitian mengenai penerapan ilmu teknologi pendidikan pada profesi guru di sekolah menengah kejuruan. Adapun penelitian yang dilaksanakan menggunakan pendekatan kualitatif deskriptif dengan melakukan pengumpulan data melalui wawancara kepada beberapa lulusan teknologi pendidikan yang berprofesi sebagai guru di sekolah menengah kejuruan. Wawancara dilakukan untuk mengetahui apa saja tantangan lulusan teknologi pendidikan, penerapan ilmu teknologi pendidikan, dan kode etik yang diterapkan di sekolah. Hasil yang didapat yaitu lulusan teknologi pendidikan memiliki dasar dan studi yang kuat dalam mengelola dan memfasilitasi pembelajaran, sehingga pada guru lulusan teknologi pendidikan dapat dengan mudah menerapkan ilmu serta kode etik dalam ruang lingkup sekolah menengah kejuruan. Dapat disimpulkan bahwa penerapan ilmu teknologi pendidikan pada profesi guru di sekolah menengah kejuruan dapat diimplementasikan dengan baik dan optimal menyangkut penerapan ilmunya, kode etik yang berlaku, dan kendala serta tantangan yang dihadapi.Kata Kunci: Guru; profesi; Sekolah Menengah Kejuruan; teknologi pendidikan

Abstract

Abstract: The development of mobile learning ecosystem materials for elementary school students aims to produce a learning media that aims to support teachers in delivering learning materials in class while increasing interest in learning. Research and Development (R&D) is the research method used, and the Lee and Owens model is the development model used in this development. The results of this mobile learning development were validated by the validator with an average percentage of 94.5%. The results of this validation indicate that the resulting mobile learning is valid or feasible to use in the learning process in order to increase student interest in learning.

Abstract

Arsip-arsip yang dikelola oleh Dinas Kependudukan dan Pencatatan Sipil Kabupaten Sukabumi sangat beragam dan mengalami pertambahan setiap harinya. Oleh karena itu, penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengetahui penerapan sistem pengelolaan arsip di Dinas Kependudukan dan Pencatatan Sipil Kabupaten Sukabumi meliputi jadwal retensi arsip dan proses pemusnahan arsip. Penelitian menggunakan metode metode penelitian kuantitatif dengan desain penelitian survey dan instrument penelitian wawancara terstruktur. Partisipan yang diwawancara merupakan seorang arsiparis yang berkerja di Dinas Kependudukan dan Pencatatan Sipil Kabupaten Sukabumi dengan jabatan arsiparis ahli muda. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa Dinas Kependudukan dan Pencatatan Sipil Kabupaten Sukabumi menggunakan sistem digital dalam mengelola sebagian arsip. Selain itu, kegiatan penyusunan jadwal retensi arsip dilakukan oleh Lembaga Kearsipan Daerah setempat, serta proses pemusnahan arsip tidak mengikutsertakan seluruh arsip dikarenakan banyaknya arsip vital di Dinas Kependudukan dan Pencatatan Sipil Kabupaten Sukabumi. Penerapan jadwal retensi arsip pada Dinas Kependudukan dan Pencatatan Sipil Kabupaten Sukabumi membuat sistem pengelolaan arsip yang efesien dan efektif.

Abstract

Students majoring in Educational Technology have expertise in analyzing, designing, developing, implementing, evaluating, and managing the use of technology to help solve learning problems. However, not all Educational Technology students have the same interest in choosing a specialization. Therefore This study aims to analyze the profession of educational technology students who choose specializations according to their interests and abilities. This study used a descriptive method by interviewing three educational technology students at the Indonesian University of Education. The results of the study show that educational technology students choose specializations that suit their interests and abilities. The suitability of the specialization chosen by Educational Technology students with their interests and abilities, as well as the demands of the job market in the field of education, is an important factor influencing the profession they will take after graduation. In addition, the research results also show that educational technology students who choose specializations that suit their interests and abilities tend to be more self-confident and feel more assisted in determining the profession they will pursue after graduation. The conclusion of this study is the importance of choosing a specialization that is by the interests and abilities of educational technology students in determining the profession they will pursue after graduation. AbstrakMahasiswa jurusan Teknologi Pendidikan memiliki keahlian dalam menganalisis, mendesain, mengembangkan, menerapkan, mengevaluasi, dan mengatur penggunaan teknologi untuk membantu menyelesaikan masalah pembelajaran. Namun, tidak semua mahasiswa Teknologi Pendidikan memiliki minat yang sama dalam memilih peminatan. Oleh karena itu penelitian ini bertujuan untuk menganalisis profesi mahasiswa teknologi pendidikan yang memilih peminatan pilihan sesuai dengan minat dan kemampuan mereka. Penelitian ini menggunakan metode deskriptif dengan mewawancarai kepada tiga orang mahasiswa teknologi pendidikan di Universitas Pendidikan Indonesia. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa mahasiswa teknologi pendidikan memilih peminatan pilihan yang sesuai dengan minat dan kemampuan mereka. Kesesuaian peminatan yang dipilih oleh mahasiswa Teknologi Pendidikan dengan minat dan kemampuannya serta tuntutan pasar kerja di bidang pendidikan merupakan faktor penting yang mempengaruhi profesi yang akan diambil setelah lulus. Selain itu, hasil penelitian juga menunjukkan bahwa mahasiswa teknologi pendidikan yang memilih peminatan pilihan yang sesuai dengan minat dan kemampuan mereka cenderung lebih percaya diri dan merasa lebih terbantu dalam menentukan profesi yang akan mereka tekuni setelah lulus. Kesimpulan dari penelitian ini adalah pentingnya memilih peminatan pilihan yang sesuai dengan minat dan kemampuan bagi mahasiswa teknologi pendidikan dalam menentukan profesi yang akan mereka tekuni setelah lulus.Kata Kunci: peminatan; profesi; teknologi pendidikan

Abstract

This article discusses parental empowerment in guiding children during online learning during the COVID-19 pandemic. This program is carried out with a focus on telling stories before going to sleep. The dedication method strengthens parents' understanding that it is essential to tell bedtime stories to increase children's emotional development. The results of the program's implementation show that telling bedtime stories to parents are beneficial for children's development in morals, imagination, interest in reading, and knowledge. This activity also affects the language and emotional intelligence of children. In online learning, the role of parents is essential in accompanying children. This program is carried out as part of KKN at the Universitas Pendidikan Indonesia to overcome the impact of COVID-19 in the education sector. Parents' application of bedtime stories significantly benefits children's development, especially during a pandemic. Parents can apply this method to support children's stories and in subsequent programs to assess the program's effectiveness in the longer term.

Abstract

Abstract. The development of technology in this era is growing rapidly. This has had a major impact on several sectors in Indonesia, be it the education, economic, political, health, social or cultural sectors. This development makes the process of finding information easier, one of which is in the education sector. This technological development has made the education sector more diverse in terms of innovation, this can be seen from the learning process which is increasingly innovative and relevant to its development. In addition, the Minister of Education and Culture Nadiem Makariem made a new breakthrough in terms of education, one of which was Merdeka Belajar-Kampus Merdeka. Merdeka Belajar-Kampus Merdeka policy is a form of learning in higher education that is autonomous and flexible so that it can create an innovative learning culture that is not restrictive and in accordance with the needs of students. The program was created with the aim of improving students' soft skills hard skills in developing their skills. Therefore this program needs to be implemented, then the authors conduct research in terms of student perceptions, especially educational technology study programs, on their work readiness after participating in the program that was created, namely the MSIB program. From this collection of perceptions, it is hoped that the MSIB program will be able to gain new perspectives and feedback related to the programs that have been implemented. The authors collect data using a quantitative descriptive method with a questionnaire containing a number of statements with an assessment using a dichotomous scale. The questionnaire is divided into 2 parts, namely personal data and statements related to MSIB. There were 13 statements related to MSIB given to respondents relating to the level of knowledge, interest, and respondents' perceptions of the MSIB program.Keywords: Perception, Program, Work, Policy

Abstract

Penelitian ini dilatarbelakangi oleh rendahnya minat baca siswa. Minat baca siswa yang rendah di Indonesia dapat menyebabkan sepinya pengunjung perpustakaan yang pada akhirnya mempengaruhi mutu lulusan pendidikan. Membaca dapat dilakukan melalui buku teks dan buku digital. Seiring berkembangnya teknologi, minat baca siswa terhadap buku digital semakin tinggi. Tujuan dari penelitian ini adalah mendeskripsikan preferensi minat baca siswa terhadap buku teks dan buku digital di SMPIT Nurul Imam. Penelitian menggunakan metode deskriptif survei dengan menyebarkan kuesioner kepada siswa. Kesimpulan penelitian tentang preferensi minat baca siswa SMPIT Nurul Imam: (a) minat baca siswa terhadap buku teks dan buku digital rata-rata masih rendah, hal ini diperlihatkan dari motivasi membaca buku digital yang lebih tinggi dibandingkan buku teks, walaupun siswa memiliki kesadaran akan manfaat membaca yang tinggi. Siswa perempuan memiliki kesadaran membaca lebih tinggi daripada siswa laki-laki; (b) faktor-faktor yang mempengaruhi preferensi minat baca siswa antara lain keterbatasan fasilitas elektronik di rumah dan di sekolah, kurang pahamnya siswa mengenai pengaksesan buku digital yang baik; dan (c) pandangan siswa terhadap kualitas buku teks dan buku digital yang tersedia di sekolah cukup berkualitas. Hal ini diperlihatkan segi tema menarik yang tinggi, cover buku cukup menarik, kualitas isi buku, serta kualitas gambar atau ilustrasi pada buku.

Abstract

In line with the rapid development of the times, both in the fields of knowledge and technology, the role of leaders must be alert and understand new things in order to be able to provide innovation for the running of an organization. School principals have an important role in moving teachers, staff and students to follow changing developments in the 21st century. This research aims to determine the role and strategies of school principals in leading schools effectively in the 21st century, find out what competencies and characteristics school principals must have in leading schools in the 21st century, and find out the challenges faced by school principals in implementing their leadership in the 21st century. This research uses a qualitative method with a literature study approach. Data sources were taken from various relevant articles discussing leadership in general and leadership in the school environment. The results of the analysis show that the principal as a leader must have an attitude and character that reflects the spirit of a firm leader and can bring about significant development of school culture. With the role of the school principal as a driving force, it is hoped that changes can be made for schools in terms of teacher professionalism, learning curriculum, and students' abilities towards 21st century learning. The results of this research can be used as initial data for future researchers in studying this problem in different contexts and issues.
