Abstract

ABSTRACTSangkub dam was built in 2005, before the establishment of the regency of NorthBolaang Mongondow. This dam, with an approximate width of 100 meters, is planned toirrigate 3.601 ha of rice fields in two districts: Sangkub and Bintauna. In 2012, the damstarted operating and irrigated the rice fields in Sangkub. This research aims to provideinformation about the conditions of the irrigation network of Sangkub dam based on spatialanalysis. This research was conducted over the course of six months (August 2013 – January2014) in Sangkub dam, Sangkub district. Data was collected through surveys, image analysesand experiment using buoys. This research shows that Sangkub’s irrigation network does notmatch the planned schematics regarding number of buildings. There is a lack of floodgates inthe secondary channels in Tombolango and there are five overflow points and one leakagepoint in the irrigation channels of Sangkub dam. Keywords: Irrigation network, Sangkub dam, Spatial

Abstract

ABSTRACTThis study head to analyze the level of erosion (TBE) which occur in the eastern part of watershed Tondano with Geographical Information Systems Applications. The method used in the calculation is the USLE erosion and analysis degree erosion using a table of erosion potential based Geographical Information Systems. Observed variables are rainfall, soil erodibility, length and slope, crop management, soil conservation management. The results showed the level of erosion that occurs in watershed Tondano eastern part is divided into five classes: very heavy (SB), weight (B) moderate (S) light (R), and very light (SR). Very heavy class (SB) with and area of 719.20 hectares or 3.21%. weight (B) with and area of 17.07 hectares or 0.40% for, the class of moderate (S) with an area of 3250.13 or 77.35%. and for the lightweight class (R) with and area of 79.91 hectares or 0.40%. whereas for the classification of very light (SR) with and area of 135.01 hectares or 3.21%.keywords: Rainfall, soil Erodibility, length and Slopes, Crop Management, Land Use.

Abstract

Abstract The study aims to determine the status of soil nutrients and pH in the village Sea, sub Pineleng Minahasa district. This research was conducted in January to April 2015 using a survey method, in which soil samples were taken by slope and land use. Soil samples were taken at five points at a depth of 0 to 40 cm and 40 cm larger. The variables measured were nitrogen (Kjedhal method), phosphorus (Bray I method), Potassium (Bray method I), C- organic (Walkley and Black method) and soil pH (pH meter). Research data analysis using descriptive analysis. The results showed that soil pH in the research sites is in the range of 6.29 to 6.48, the content of the element nitrogen is in the range of 0.12% to 0.27%), phosphorus content in the range of 8.60 ppm to 14.29 , potassium element content is in the range of 1.72 ppm to 11.95 ppm, and organic matter content of 1.52% to 3.17%. Abstract

ABSTRACT Bone Bolango district of Gorontalo province is well developed in agriculture. There are three dams in this province and one of them is Lomaya dam. This dam has not yet used technology of geographic information system for evaluating the efficiency of water distribution in the irrigated area. Therefore the measurement of water discharge and the information of spatial irrigated areas are required. The inflow and outflow discharges were measured in each irrigated channel using a bottle buoy. The result of the research showed that the efficiencies of primary, secondary and tertiary channels were 82,25 %, 78,58 % and 77,99 % respectively. The total efficiency of water distribution of irrigated area in Lomaya was 50,41 %. Geographic information system in these irrigated area of Lomaya served the map of irrigated area. Keywords: Efficiency, Irrigation, Geographic Information System, Dam Lomaya

Abstract

ABSTRACT Talawaan dam, North Minahasa Regenc that was built in 1912, was planned to irrigate 1037 ha paddy field covering five villages, i.e. “Desa Kolongan”, “Desa Talawaan”, “Desa Tumbohon”, “Desa Winetin”. The objective of this research was to inform the physical condition of irrigation network system in Talawaan Dam. This research was conduced from November 2014 - Februari 2015 (4 Months). The data was collected usong survey method, float measurements. The result showed that the irrigation network system in this dam was not appropriate with the planned scheme based on the number of (water structures) and irrigated field area. In addition, there was water loss because of overflowing and leakage in the irrigation network.   Keywords :Talawaan Dam , Irrigation

Abstract

ABSTRACT  The study aimed to determine the soil chemical fertility status in Mapanget District, Manado City. This research was conducted from January to April 2018. The research method used is the survey method, where soil samples are taken at six points based on land use. Nutrients analyzed were Nitrogen (Kjedhal Method), Phosphorus (Bray I Method), Potassium (Bray I Method), Organic C (Walkley and Black Method) and pH (Kjedhal Method). The data obtained were analyzed descriptively. The results showed that soil pH in the study location was in the range of 6.49 to 6.80, the elemental content of nitrogen was in the range of 0.15% to 0.24%, the content of phosphorus was in the range of 11.56 ppm to 23.16 ppm, the content of Potassium is in the range of 14.58% to 33.65%, and the C-organic content is in the range of 1.87% to 2.22%.  Keywords : Nitrogen, Phosphorus, Potassium, C-organic, pH
