Abstract

Penelitian ini bertujuna untuk menentukan ada tidaknya interaksi dari faktor pengolahan tanah dan faktor varietas jagung yang berpengaruh terhadap pertumbuhan dan hasil maksimal, untuk mengetahui varietas jagung yang berpotensi hasil tinggi dengan sistem pengolahan tanah yang efektif dan efisien pada lahan kering. Menentukan sistem pengolahan tanah yang efektif dan berpotensi untuk mendapatkan hasil yang maksimal. Penelitian dilaksanakan di lahan perkebunan Desa Molompar Kecamatan Tombatu Timur Kabupaten Minahasa Tenggara dari bulan November 2016 sampai Februari 2017. Penelitian ini menggunakan Rancangan Petak Terbagi (Split-Plot Design) dengan dua faktor. Faktor pertama adalah sistem pengolahan tanah yang terdiri dari tiga macam perlakuan dan faktor kedua yaitu varietas jagung yang terdiri atas 4 macam varietas. Sistem pengolahan tanah yang diterapkan adalah : P1: Petak dikelola dengan system Tanpa Olah Tanah, P2: Petak dikelola dengan system Olah Tanah Minimum, P3: Petak dikelola dengan system Olah Tanah Sempurna.Varietas jagung yang digunakan V1: benih jagung varietas TS 333,V2 : benih jagung varietas Pioneer,V3 : benih jagung varietas Bisi 18, dan V4 : benih jagung varietas DK 88. Data yang diperoleh akan dianalisis dengan menggunakan analisis varians jika berbeda nyata akan dilanjutkan dengan Uji Beda Nyata Terkecil (BNT). Variabel yang diamati terdiri dari tinggi tanaman (cm), yaitu dilakukan mulai dari pangkal batang sampai ujung daun tertinggi yang diluruskan secara vertikal ke atas pada saat tanaman berumur 14 HST kemudian dilanjutkan pada 40 HST. Komponen hasil jagung hibrida yaitu jumlah baris biji/tongkol, dilakukan dengan cara menghitung jumlah baris pada tongkol dan jumlah biji/baris dihitung jumlah biji jagung setiap baris. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa tidak ada interaksi antara system pengolahan tanahn dan jenis varietas pada pertumbuhan dan hasil tanaman jagung. Pada perlakuan pengolahan tanah, Sistem Tanpa Olah Tanah mengahsilkan tanaman yang lebih tinggi dari pada system olah tanah lainnya. Pada perlakuan varietas, varietas Bisi menghasilkan jumlah biji perbaris terbanyak dari pada varietas lainnya.

Abstract

Abstract: Recruitment of health personnels is included in the purpose of UU Nomor 36 tahun 2014. This UU states that all health personnels should have the STR and SIP. Moreover, SPK graduated medical assistants are not longer accepted as professional workers. As one of the type C hospitals in Tomohon, the numbers and types of competence of health personnels at GMIM Bethesda Hospital have to meet the requirement set out in PERMENKES no 56 RI 2014, which is about the permission of hospital operation. This study was aimed to evaluate the compliance of GMIM Bethesda Hospital in recruitment of health personnels and medical assistants in their respective fields of health services, in accordance with its competence and authority based on UU Nomor 36 tahun 2014. This study used a qualitative method. Thorough interviews and document observation were performed to obtain information about the the management of GMIM Bethesda Hospital in placing their health personnels in accordance with the UU No 36 tahun 2014. The results showed that the recruitment of health personnels of GMIM Bethesda Hospital was in accordance with UU No 36 2014 except for clinical pathologists, dental specialists, and pharmacists that are still lacking, and also for the great numbers of SPK graduated personnels who were still working at the hospital. Conclusion: In general, health personnels of GMIM Bethesda hospital were in accordance with UU No 36 tahun 2014.Keywords: health personnels, recruitmentAbstrak: Penempatan tenaga kesehatan termasuk dalam salah satu tujuan dari UU Nomor 36 tahun 2014. RSU GMIM Bethesda sebagai salah satu rumah sakit di Kota Tomohon harus memenuhi persyaratan sebagaimana ditetapkan dalam Permenkes RI No 56 tahun 2014 terkait dengan izin operasional rumah sakit dan sebagai persyaratan rumah sakit yang telah terakreditasi tipe C. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengevaluasi kepatuhan RSU GMIM Bethesda dalam menempatkan tenaga kesehatan dan asisten tenaga kesehatan di masing-masing bidang pelayanan kesehatan sesuai kompetensi dan kewenangannya berdasarkan UU No 36 tahun 2014. Penelitian ini menggunakan metode kualitatif melalui wawancara mendalam dan observasi dokumen untuk mendapatkan informasi mengenai manajemen rumah sakit Bethesda dalam menempatkan tenaga kesehatan sesuai ketentuan UU No 36 tahun 2014 yaitu setiap tenaga kesehatan harus memiliki STR dan SIP dan tidak adanya lagi asisten tenaga kesehatan lulusan SPK yang menjadi tenaga profesi. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa penempatan tenaga kesehatan di RSU GMIM Bethesda sudah sesuai dengan UU No 36 tahun 2014 kecuali tenaga dokter spesialis patologi klinik, dokter spesialis gigi, dan apoteker masih kurang, juga masih terdapat banyak tenaga lulusan SPK yang masih bekerja di rumah sakit ini. Simpulan: Penempatan tenaga kesehatan di RSU GMIM Bethesda telah sesuai dengan UU No 36 tahun 2014.Kata kunci: tenaga kesehatan, penempatan tenaga kesehatan

Abstract

Increasing tomato production could be approach by various ways such as intensification and extensification programs. The programs should be supported by availability of seeds and good varieties produced by breeder. Department of Agriculture has released several high yielding varieties.  Tomato grows in a variety of altitude, both the highlands and lowlands, depending on variety. Therefore, ability of adaptation on specific location of tomato variety should be assessed. In relation to that, performance of six tomato varieties was evaluated on two different environments. The experiment was used factorial design. The results showed that performance some varieties varied between the two different environments.  Alista variety and Victory F1 revelead good performance on characters fruit weight and fruit diameter.This two varieties could be used for breeding material. Tomatoes planted on double row space showed better performance then others. Genetic similirity pattern on different row space was resulting different response. Abstract

ABSTRACT Research has been implemented as of July 2012, in the  BPSB Laboratory  of North Sulawesi Province i.e.: 1) to test the seed lacking in vigour during the Random Complete Design with three treatments of the various harvest ages, i.e. U1 (90 dasy), U2 (100 days) and U3 (110 days) treatments repeated four times; 2) in the greenhouse to see the amount of the normal, sprouts abnormal, seeds, hard seed and dead, shoot root ratio by using the Random Completed Design with two factors, respectively are : factorial in complete factors of the first different age harvest U1 (90 days), U2 (100 days) and U3 (110 days), the second factor granting of the water with different capacity P1 (3600 ml), P2 (2700 ml), P3 (1800 ml) and P4 (900 ml). Data analysis were found by the various analysis, however if there are different results, it would continue on the Smallest Significant Test. The results showed that, Electric Power Conductivity (EPC) affected by the age of harvest seed corn. The highest EPC at the harvest ages of 90 days and the lowest at 100 days and 110 days. It would be shown that the great value of EPC, the smallest amount of germination. There is no interaction between the age of abnormal seeds, hard seed die, shoot root ratio and high sprouts, but single factor treatment of harvest age and media planting humidity were significantly effected toward sprout normal, abnormal seed, hard seed die, shoot root ratio and high sprouts. Penelitian kedua di Rumah Kaca untuk melihat jumlah kecambah normal, abnormal, benih keras,benih mati dan nisbah pupus akar  menggunakan Rancangan Acak Lengkap disusun secara faktorial  dengan  2 faktor  masing-masing adalah : faktor pertama : Umur Panen yang berbeda, U1 (90 Hari), U2 (100 Hari) dan U3 (110 hari). faktor kedua pemberian air dengan kapasitas yang berbeda, P1 (3600 ml), P2 (2700 ml), P3 (1800 ml) dan P4 (900 ml). Data yang diperoleh menggunakan analisa ragam dan jika terdapat perbedaan perlakuan dilanjutkan dengan uji Beda Nyata Terkecil  (BNT). Hasil penelitian yang didapat adalah; Daya hantar listrik (DHL) dipengaruhi oleh umur panen benih jagung, DHL tertinggi pada umur panen 90 hari dan yang terendah umur panen 100 dan 110 hari. Hal ini menunjukan bahwa semakin besar nilai DHL semakin kecil jumlah perkecambahan. Tidak terdapat interaksi antara umur panen benih dan kelembaban media tanam terhadap jumlah kecambah normal, abnormal, benih keras, benih mati, nisbah pupus akar dan tinggi kecambah tetapi secara tunggal faktor perlakuan umur panen dan kelembaban media tanam berpengaruh nyata terhadap kecambah normal, abnormal, benih keras, benih mati, nisbah pupus akar dan tinggi kecambah. Abstract

ABSTRACT Runtunuwu, S.D., et.al. 2007. The Become Fruit Rate in Crossing Coconut Genjah Salak x Dalam Mapanget (GSK x DMT). Eugenia 13(1):97-108. The aim of this research was 1) individu tree crossing of coconut Genjah Salak x Dalam Mapanget (GSK x DMT), 2) to known the become fruit rate in crossing individu tree of coconut GSK x DMT. The method of crossing used crossing a pair between fourteen trees individu of coconut GSK. With three trees coconut DMT, so it become fourty two combination crossing. Coconut DMT 1188 crossing with stem number one of coconut GSK, DMT 1172 with stem number two coconut GSK and DMT 781 with stem number three. The become fruit rate of the crossing result between fourteen individu trees of coconut GSK and tree individu trees of DMT with the tree number 1188, 1172 and 781 in three mounth in sequence was have variation from 0,00 – 27,27 %, 3,76 – 32 % and 2,86 – 27,16 %. Therefore the lowest success rate of these crossing was in combination of GSK coconut tree number fourteen and DMT tree number 1188 was 0,00 %, while the highest success rate was in the combination crossing between coconut GSK tree number 12 and DMT tree number 1172 was 32 %. Abstract

ABSTRACT      This research aims to understand growth and the production of several varieties chili ( Capsicum frutescens L ) that have been carried out in the village Kauneran One subdistrict Sonder for seven months from May until December 2015. The research used random design complete with three varieties treatment namely Taruna, Genie, and Nirmala. Variable observed that is observation age flowering, flowering plants as high, tall plant during harvest time, age harvest, with a heavy fruit, heavy of a fruit without stalk, heavy of a fruit without stalk and seeds, the number of fruit. Using data analyzed test F if there is continued influence treatment by test different real smallest ( LSD ) 5%. The results of the study obtained age flowering of a plant chili the average age flowering from to three varieties chili subjects not markedly dissimilar. Average height plants as flowering, obtained varieties taruna produce average height the highest plants followed varieties genie and the lowest are varieties niramala. Tall plant at harvest varieties taruna has the average highest and the lowest are varieties nirmala. Age harvest the fastest in varieties nirmala followed varieties genie and varieties taruna. Total with a heavy fruit, shows that varieties taruna yields heavy fruit with a highest followed varieties niramala and heavy fruit lowest are varieties genie. Total heavy of a fruit without stalk varieties taruna is the highest followed varieties nirmala lowest varieties genie. Varieties taruna total heavy of a fruit without stalk and seeds highest, followed varieties nirmala and the lowest are varieties genie. Varieties genie produce the average number of fruit highest followed varieties nirmala and the lowest varieties taruna. Based on the research has done inferred varieties taruna has tall plant and weights fruit chili the heaviest, while varieties nirmala having age flowering and the days of crop genjah, and varieties genie obtained the number of fruit most. Of the result of this research suggested can be tested back on land / embankment to get the characteristic appearance of growth and the production of more maximum between varieties. Abstract

ABSTRACTThe objective of this study was to study the effect of mulch use on the growth and production of potato crops in the middle plains and to determine the type of mulch suitable for potato crops in the middle plains. This research was conducted in Tompaso II Village District Tompaso, Regency of Minahasa, with the height of 765 mdpl. This study was implemented for 4 months, from May to August 2016. This study used a Completely Randomized Design experiment consisting of 3 treatments with different repetitions. The Treatments are Plastic Silver Black Mulch repeated 3 times, Straw Mulch repeated as much as 4 times and Control repeated 6 times. Based on the result of statistical analysis, there is no significant difference between the treatment can be caused by environmental factors and genetic factors seedings are planted. Environmental factors such as temperature, humidity, rainfall, light intensity, soil fertility, and the presence or absence of pests and diseases will determine growth and production in plants.Keywords: the potatos, medium plains, mulch

Abstract

ABSTRAC This study aims to determine the development of Abaka bananas (Musa textilis Nee) on Karakelang Island. The results of this study are expected to provide information, for Farmers in the Development of Abaca banana cultivation, on Karakelang Island. in addition, it can support the overall development of Abaca banana cultivation in Talaud Islands Regency. This research was conducted for three months, from December 2018 to March 2019, the location of sampling in Karekelang Island in three districts, namely: Essang District, Essang Selatan District, and Beo Utara District and in each subdistrict each was selected four Village. In each village there are ten Abaka respondents / farmers. This research was conducted by survey using a questionnaire with direct interviews to farmers. The results of the study show that Abaca (rotte) is an endemic Talaud plant which is very suitable for the climate and soil on the karakelang island, with the cultivation system of farmers still traditionally, There is no excessive treatment for Abaca bananas. Farmers intercropping with coconut and durian plants. Excellence Karakelang Island has five regional superior varieties. Planting distance applied by farmers varies greatly, namely 4m x 4m, 4.5m x 4.5m, 5m x 5m while others are still dependent on coconut and Durian as the main crop. Abaca on Karakelang Island can be cultivated at altitudes below 300 m asl which are found in the three research location Districts. Keyword: Potential, Abaka Banana, Development, Karakelang

Abstract

Generative propagation of orchids is difficult because orchid seeds do not have endosperm for growth and development, so propagation can be done by in vitro. The growth and development of orchids in vitro can be faster and more efficient compared to conventional methods when combined with the addition of growth regulators into the growing medium of in vitro cultures. MS media is a medium that is often used in in vitro propagation because it has the most complete macro and micro nutrients for plant growth and development, but because the price is fairly expensive, the use of 50% MS media can be a solution to this problem.               This study aims to determine the interaction of the use of MS media composition with ZPT BAP, see the effect of MS media composition on the growth and development of orchid buds, and see the effect of ZPT BAP on the growth and development of orchid buds. This research was conducted at the Biotechnology Laboratory, Faculty of Agriculture, Sam Ratulangi University Manado from March to May 2023. This study used a factorial experiment in a completely randomized design (CRD) with 3 replicates consisting of two factors.. The first factor is MS media composition; MS 100% (A1) and MS 50% (A2) and the second factor is BAP concentration; BAP 0.5 ppm (B1), BAP 1.5 ppm (B2), BAP 2 ppm (B3), and BAP 3 ppm (B4). Data were analyzed by ANOVA and if the effect was significant then continued with 5% BNT test. The variables observed were: Shoot height (cm), number of leaves (strands), number of shoots (units), number of roots (units), and wet weight (g). The results showed that there was an interaction between the treatment of MS media composition and growth regulators on the number of shoots, but there was no interaction on the variable shoot height, number of leaves, number of roots, and wet weight of Dendrobium mirbelianum Gaudich orchid shoots. Abstrak Perbanyakan anggrek secara generatif sulit dilakukan karena biji anggrek tidak memiliki endosperm untuk pertumbuhan dan perkembangannya, maka dari itu dapat dilakukan perbanyakan dengan cara in vitro. Pertumbuhan dan perkembangan anggrek secara in vitro bisa lebih cepat dan efisien dibandingkan dengan cara konvensional jika dikombinasikan dengan penambahan zat pengatur tumbuh ke dalam media tanam kultur in vitro. Media MS adalah media yang sering digunakan dalam perbanyakan in vitro karena memiliki unsur hara makro dan mikro yang paling lengkap untuk pertumbuhan dan perkembangan tanaman, tetapi karena harganya yang terbilang mahal maka penggunaan media MS 50% dapat menjadi solusi terhadap permasalahan tersebut. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengetahui interaksi penggunaan komposisi media MS dengan ZPT BAP dan mendapatkan kombinasi perlakuan yang paling baik terhadap pertumbuhan dan perkembangan tunas anggrek. Penelitian ini dilaksanakan di Laboratorium Bioteknologi, Fakultas Pertanian, Universitas Sam Ratulangi Manado dari bulan Maret sampai Mei 2023. Penelitian ini menggunakan percobaan faktorial dalam Rancangan Acak Lengkap (RAL)  dengan 3 ulangan yang terdiri dari dua faktor. Faktor pertama yaitu komposisi media MS; MS 100% (A1) dan MS 50% (A2) dan faktor kedua konsentrasi BAP; BAP 0,5 ppm (B1), BAP 1,5 ppm (B2), BAP 2 ppm (B3), dan BAP 3 ppm (B4). Data dianalisis dengan ANOVA dan jika berpengaruh nyata maka dilanjutkan dengan uji BNT 5 %. Variabel yang diamati adalah: Tinggi tunas (cm), jumlah daun (helai), jumlah tunas (unit), jumlah akar (unit), dan berat basah (g). Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa terdapat interaksi antara perlakuan komposisi media MS dan zat pengatur tumbuh terhadap jumlah tunas, tetapi tidak terdapat interaksi pada variabel tinggi tunas, jumlah daun, jumlah akar, dan berat basah tunas anggrek Dendrobium mirbelianum Gaudich. Abstract

Indonesia has a variety of medicinal plants that are efficacious for preventing or treating various diseases. Each region has unique medicinal plants, such as in North Sulawesi, there are many medicinal plants with local names of "Jarak" (Jatropha curcas), "Jarak Merah" (Jatropha multifida), "Miana" (Coleus Scutellarioide), and "Sesewanua" (Clerodendron Squmatum Vahl). This research applies the Convolutional Neural Network (CNN) method to identify the types of medicinal plants of North Sulawesi based on leaf images. Data was collected directly by taking photos of medicinal plant leaves and then using the augmentation process to increase the data. The first stage is conducting training and validation processes using 10-fold cross-validation, resulting in 10 classification models. Evaluation results show that the lowest validation accuracy of 98.4% was obtained from fold-4, and the highest was 100% from fold-2. The third stage was to run the testing process using new data. The results showed that the worst model produced a test accuracy of 80.91% while the best model produced an accuracy of 87.73% which means that the identification model is quite good and stable in classifying types of medicinal plants based on its leaf images. The final stage is to develop a web-based system to deploy the best model so people can use it in real-time
