Abstract

Heavy metals in aquatic environments have been known to cause some damage to aquatic life. Pb metal is found in waste that pollute the waters. In modern life today many people have a habit of disposing of garbage disembarang place. Utilization of jengkol skin powder which is organic waste scattered in the traditional market can be used for the processing of liquid waste containing Pb metal. This research used experimental method by using Atomic Absorption Spectrophotometer which then analyzed statistically using two way ANOVA test without interaction. From the results of the study found that jengkol skin powder can absorb Pb metal that exists in the liquid waste in the surrounding environment. After statistical test with two- way ANOVA test without interaction, Pb metal absorption by jengkol skin powder with pH and mass ratio, then got value of F count (mass) = 3,763 and F value table = 98,50 while F value count (pH) = 0,812 with value F table = 99,00 with result Ha rejected and H0 accepted. From the results of this study can be concluded that there is no significant difference in the absorption of Pb logan using jengkol skin powder in pH and mass variations.

Abstract

Saumanganya is the name of a village located in North Pagai District, Mentawai Islands Regency. Saumanganya Village is included in the red zone in the application of the Clean and Healthy Lifestyle (PHBS), especially in the application of the local household environmental waste management system (on site system) individually. On the other hand, there are still many people who do not have waste water management and dispose of their waste directly into rivers, gardens and the sea. In this case, community participation is very much needed in local wastewater management, because the community also plays an active role in producing wastewater. The diverse characteristics of the community will greatly affect the behavior of the community in waste water management. This is closely related to the improvement of public health status. This community activity has the potential to cause environmental pollution, where the main waste comes from households. With a population of 4,141 people consisting of 1,070 houses from 1,082 families. Based on data from the environmental health program in 2021, in Saumanganya Village 15% of the residents still use open defecation (BABS) facilities and the rest are latrine facilities. Seeing this condition, it is appropriate to conduct research that aims to analyze the factors that influence the lifestyle of the people in Saumanganya Village in the application of healthy MCK in accordance with health standards. From the analysis of the lifestyle of the people of Saumanganya Village, it was found that 100% of the people who use MCK according to health standards have not been met due to economic factors 69%, knowledge factors 15%, and 26% are culture/traditions, and 26% lack of education and counseling. about PHBS.

Abstract

Masalah keselamatan dan kesehatan kerja (K3) di Indonesia masih sering terabaikan. Hal ini ditunjukkan dengan masih tingginya angka kecelakaan kerja. Di Indonesia, khususnya dalam dunia usaha yang membutuhkan tenaga kerja yang banyak seperti halnya proyek konstruksi seringkali kesehatan dan keselamatan kerja diabaikan dengan alasan klasik oleh para pemilik usaha bahwa biaya untuk kesehatan dan keselamatan kerja bagi pekerja dianggap mahal. Tujuan penelitian adalah Untuk mengetahui penerapan program Keselamatan dan Kesehatan Kerja (K3) dan Untuk mengevaluasi penerapan program keselamatan dan kesehatan kerja (K3) pada pembangunan gedung laboratorium. Manfaat penelitian sebagai acuan dalam pengambilan keputusan mengenai kewajiban perusahaan atas undang-undang atau pemerintahan sekaligus memenuhi hak karyawan dalam kaitanya dengan keselamatan dan kesehatan kerja (K3) dalam perusahaan (Tempat kerja). Jenis penelitian kualitatif diperoleh data tingkat safety induction, toolbox meeting, dan kepatuhan penggunaan Alat Pelindung Diri (APD) pekerja. Metoda penelitian dalam pengumpulan data primer dilakukan dengan cara wawancara atau diskusi berupa gambaran Keselamatan dan Kesehatan Kerja (K3) di proyek pembangunan gedung Laboratorium Sentral Universitas Andalas Padang. Kesimpulan dari penelitian ini adalah Tingkat kesadaran pekerja dalam penggunaan Alat Pelindung Diri (APD) di Proyek Pembangunan Gedung Laboratorium Central Universitas Andalas Padang berdasarkan hasil Observasi dan wawancara yang  dilakukan termasuk kedalam kategori sudah mencapai tingkat kesadaran yang baik, terbukti dengan jawaban dari wawancara. Alat Pelindung Diri dengan pernyataan memakai helm safety lebih dari 50%, yang memakai kaca mata dibawah 50%, tidak memakai kacamata lebih dari 50% dan memakai kaca mata tergantung jenis pekerjaan dibawah 50%, untuk yang memakai masker dibawah 50%, tidak memakai masker lebih dari 50%, memakai tergantung jenis pekerjaan dibawah 50%, untuk yang memakai sarung tangan lebih dari 50%, tidak memakai sarung tangan dibawah 50% dan yang menjawab kadang – kadang dibawah 50%, untuk yang memakai rompi safety dan sepatu safety lebih dari 50%.Tingkat kesadaran kesadaran pekerja tentang Penggunaan Alat Pelindung Diri (APD) sudah baik hanya saja dalam penerapan sehari – hari masih ada beberapa pekerja yang lalai dalam penggunaan Alat Pelindung Diri (APD) dengan alasan – alasan pribadi.

Abstract

Desa Sido Makmur berlokasi di daerah pedalaman, jauh dari pantai dan memiliki dataran tinggi bila terjadi musim kemarau akan mengalami kekeringan dan bila musim hujan akan mengalami kebanjiran dikarenakan hutan dan perbukitan yang ada tidak dapat menampung resapan air hujan. Salah satu solusi yang bisa dilakukan adalah dengan membuat penampungan air hujan untuk pemenuhan air bersih, sehingga perlu dilakukan pengujian tahap awal terhadap kondisi air dengan metode penampungan air hujan. Pengujian dilakukan dua parameter untuk kualitas air sumur, parameter fisik (kekeruhan, warna, zat padat terlarut, suhu, rasa, bau) dan parameter kimia (pH, besi, fluorida, kesadahan, mangan, nitrat, nitrit, sianida dan deterjen). Metode analisis data yang digunakan untuk kualitas air sumur adalah metode deskriptif laboratorium berdasarkan peraturan mentri kesehatan RI No.32 Tahun 2017. Hasil pengujian yang didapatkan, nilai kedua parameter berada dibawah ambang batas dari standar baku mutu air, sehingga air pada kedua parameter ini dapat digunakan untuk keperluan hygiene sanitasi.

Abstract

Slum areas really need prevention activities. This activity really requires environmental development planning in housing and residential areas. Environmental quality must also be supported by empowering the community to protect the environment. In Sijunjung Regency there are 31 (thirty one) Slum Housing and Slum Housing locations in 8 (eight) sub-districts. The area is 415.20 (four hundred and fifteen point twenty two) hectares. One of these locations is Nagari Muaro in Sijunjung District. This study aims to reduce slum areas by designing environmental roads as the main basis for development. The locations processed were 3 nagari, namely Muaro in Subarang Ombak with an area of 3.98 Ha; Friday market with an area of 8.46 Ha; and Rimbo Kaluang or Jorong Tangah with an area of 7.31 Ha. This location has a percentage of road surface quality of 85%, namely poor road surface quality. The theory used in planning is Doxiadis namely nature, human environment and networks. Data is processed in a descriptive qualitative analysis by way of observation to interview locations and documentation. The results of this study design environmental roads using Autocad software that can be implemented. So that this research can help design roads in an effort to make settlements healthy by maintaining the social aspects of society.

Abstract

The existence of a home industry is very important for local communities, because it provides benefits for individuals/groups that run it, one of the best Saka-producing villages is in NagariBukik Batabuah. The galodo disaster that befell this village had a major impact on people's livelihoods, in the midst of this downturn the village head, together with residents immediately adapted to find other alternatives, namely developing a model of Saka moulds and packaging that usually uses convex coconut shells, so that consumers are reluctant to buy them. From this problem it is concluded: a). loss of community livelihood, b). people who used to farm switched to cultivating land, c). industry players do not have knowledge in the field of mould and packaging models, d). low knowledge of industry players about marketing through (TTG). The purpose of the activity is to provide counseling, workshops to industry players to increase creativity and innovation in processing Saka mould and packaging models, so as to increase community income, carried out 3 days with lecture methods, brainstorming, workshops, with 40 participants: 1). Saka industry players realise the importance of creative and innovative business development on Saka mould models made from silicone because the models are diverse and in demand by consumers, heat resistant, durable for the long term, 2). improve the shape of packaging to be more attractive, 3). Saka industry players actively follow the development of TTG to market production to a wider area
