Abstract

Dinas Perpustakaan dan Kearsipan Daerah Provinsi Sulawesi Utara is a library owned by the provincial government of Sulawesi Utara (Sulut), which provides various sources of information needed by the community such as books or reference documents. Other. This library provides various facilities and services that can be used by the community of Sulut such as searching, reading and borrowing books. Libraries are required to be able to improve their services especially in book Search or documents. The book search process in a library that requires visitors to visit each of the booksets will take a long time. In addition, visitors should also first find the fields or topics of the searched book by visiting the Bookcloset section that corresponds to the field or topic. The lack of information available about books or documents in the library will prevent visitors from finding the information they need. Therefore the library requires a system to simplify the process of searching the book. A book search system that uses the search process by matching keywords and data to the database, will only display the title of the book exactly as the keyword entered on the search form. If the user forgets the details of the title of the book to be searched, it is very difficult to search the book title because the system is unable to display the corresponding title of the book or is relevant to the book title entered on the search form. To be able to display the information or title of the book related or relevant to the title of the book to be searched, will be created a search system of books that use an information retrieval system or the information Retrieval (IR). Information Retrieval (IR) or an info-back system is one way to easily rediscover the information on documents contained in a system. Search engine or search engine is a device that can facilitate the user to obtain information by displaying the search results according to the information that is sought by the user. On this final task will be built search engine libraries that can make it easier for users to rediscover relevant books according to the data sought. This final task applies a Vector Space Model (VSM) method that is one of several methods that can be used in building the System Information Retrieval (IR). The result of this final task is a search engine library by implementing a VSM method that provides the document search feature and provides a complete document or book information in the library. In addition, testing of the application uses recall and precision which results in a value of 1 which shows that the system can find the relevant documents according to the relevant documents in the collection.

Abstract

Development in humans occurs from birth to adulthood, therefore parents have a very important role in paying attention to the development of children. The survey conducted by the author shows that not all parents will see a doctor to check their child's growth and development because they are busy working and will only go to the doctor when their child is in an unhealthy condition. From the survey data in the form of questionnaires collected, some parents also do not know what symptoms affect their child's growth and development. If a child has a developmental disorder and parents rarely consult to find out how high the level of the disorder is, it will worsen the growth and development of the child so that the number of developmental disorders in children will increase. Based on the problems above, an Early Childhood Development Expert System application was built using the Forward Chaining Method and the Backward Chaining Method, the reason for using both methods is to be different from previous research and the search process can be more varied. The forward chaining method looks for disorders based on the symptoms selected by the user. The backward chaining method is used to determine the level of disorders that occur in children based on the symptoms and disorders selected by the user. The application is built using the PHP programming language and the Unified Modeling Language (UML) modeling tool. The results of the implementation of this scientific work are able to produce an early childhood development expert system application that can detect symptoms or disorders using the Forward Chaining and Backward Chaining methods. This application is ready and suitable for users to detect symptoms or disorders.

Abstract

Satwa endemik merupakan salah satu hewan yang memiliki ciri khusus dan hanya dapat ditemukan di beberapa lokasi tertentu. Salah satu peran dari satwa endemik adalah untuk menjaga keseimbangan alam di sekitarnya. Olehnya masyarakat perlu mengenal berbagai jenis satwa endemik khususnya satwa endemik yang tinggal berdekatan dengan masyarakat supaya dapat mengurangi perburuan liar dan penyalahgunaan peran satwa endemik tersebut sehingga berkurangnya jumlah satwa endemik, dapat dicegah.Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk merancang dan membuat “Aplikasi Pengenalan Satwa Endemik Pulau Sulawesi Berbasis Augmented Reality” yang dapat memperkenalkan, menambah minat serta kepedulian masyarakat mengenai satwa endemik terutama yang ada di Pulau Sulawesi. Dengan memanfaatkan teknologi Augmented Reality, satwa endemik yang langka keberadaannya dapat dibuat dalam objek virtual 3D untuk memudahkan masyarakat mengenal satwa tersebut. Dalam pembuatan aplikasi ini akan digunakan metodepengembangan multimedia, kakas storyboard dan flowchart untuk menjelaskan gambaran dari pembuatan aplikasi ini. Sedangkan perangkat lunak yang digunakan untuk pembuatan aplikasi ini digunakan aplikasi Unity 3D dengan bahasa pemrograman C#, library dari Wikitude SDK untuk membuat navigasi dan fungsi markerless augmented reality. Hasil penelitian ini menjelaskan bahwa aplikasi ini dapat menerapkan teknologi markerless augmented reality, menampilkan objek 3D dari satwa endemik Pulau Sulawesi, melihat informasi yang disediakan dan melakukan interaksi terhadap objek 3D satwa endemik sehingga aplikasi ini dapat dijadikan sebagai media pengenalan satwa endemik Pulau Sulawesi.

Abstract

Daur hidup adalah seluruh tahapan pertumbuhan makhluk hidup. Pada hewan, daur hidup dimulai dari telur sampai dewasa. Contohnya daur hidup kupu-kupu, nyamuk, lalat, katak, dan belalang berbeda-beda. Hewan tersebut mengalami perubahan bentuk tubuh dalam pertumbuhannya. Proses perubahan bentuk hewan ini disebut metamorfosis. Metamorfosis merupakan siklus hidup bagi beberapa hewan seperti kupu-kupu, belalang, kecoak dan nyamuk. Proses ini membutuhkan waktu yang lama sehingga orang tidak dapat melihat secara langsung proses perubahan bentuk dari hewan tersebut. Untuk melihat proses tersebut tanpa harus menunggu maka akan dibangun aplikasi pengenalan metamorfosis pada hewan berbasis augmented reality di mana akan menampilkan visualisasi proses metamorfosis tidak sempurna dari hewan belalang dan kecoak dalam bentuk 3D sesuai dengan objek di dunia nyata dengan menggunakan augmented reality. Metode pengembangan yang digunakan untuk membuat aplikasi tersebut adalah Multimedia Development Life Cycle (MDLC) dibantu dengan aplikasi pendukung Blender dan Zbrush untuk pembuatan model 3D, dan juga Unity untuk membuat model 3D dan animasi menjadi augmented reality. Berdasarkan pengujian yang telah dilakukan dapat disimpulkan bahwa aplikasi Augmented Reality “Metamorfosis Hewan” dapat berfungsi dengan baik untuk menjelaskan prosesmetamorfosis tidak sempurna menggunakan metode markerless.

Abstract

The material test monitoring application built in 2021 aims to facilitate BPJN Jayapura's work in entering administrative data files to facilitate the material test monitoring process carried out from the process stage to the material test results stage. However, in using it for 2 years, the application has had problems. The application is unable to search for documents stored in the database so the search is carried out one by one. This makes it difficult for users because there are more than 30 documents. Therefore, this research will focus on creating a document search engine (search engine) using the Vector Space Model method. This algorithm will measure the level of similarity of documents to the keywords or queries entered by the user. This research implements the Vector Space Model method to make it easier to search for documents in the application. In carrying out this research, the Software Development Life Cycle methodology will be used as a method for creating the search engine using the Unified Modeling Language version 2.5.1 modeling tool and the PHP programming language. Based on the tests that have been carried out, the Vector Space Model method has been successfully implemented and is able to function as a search engine with a precision level of 0.83 and a recall of 1 for searching 40 documents as samples. Abstract

Skin lesions are skin abnormalities or disorders in the form of changes, damage, abnormal growth of the skin, such as changes in texture, color, appearance of lumps and spots on the skin. This disease certainly disrupts people's activities and behavior every day because of the reactions it causes, such as sensations of itching, pain, stinging and excessive heat. However, knowledge of the types of skin lesions by the lay public is still lacking and a system is needed that can provide information regarding primary skin lesions. Image processing as part of machine learning can recognize types of primary skin lesions through applications that use Convolutional Neural Network (CNN). This method can perform good feature extraction and classification, so it is very suitable for image detection. Research was carried out on 4 classes of lesions, namely macular, urticarial, popular and vesicular. Based on the test results with the CNN model, it was found that the average accuracy value was 95% with the calculation of values in the macular class with precision 91%, recall 100%, f-1 score 95%, urticaria class with precision 100%, recall 91%, f-1 score 95%, papule class with precision 98%, recall 93%, f-1 score 96% and vesicular class with precision 93%, recall 99%, f-1 score 96%.

Abstract

Tomato (Lycopersicum esculentum Mill) is one of the leading commodities that has the potential to be a contributor to exports. One of the main causes of decreased production of tomato plants, namely the emergence of various diseases. Plants are said to be affected by disease if there are changes in all or part of the plant organs that cause disruption of daily physiological activities. This study will use deep learning methods and Convolutional Neural Network (CNN) algorithms to determine disease in tomato plants through leaves. The CNN training model will be carried out using the Python and carried out on the Google Colab platform, while the Android-based application development will use Android Studio. Tests have been carried out by implementing various test scenarios, namely testing with image sources from the gallery and image sources directly from the camera. The result is an application that is built quite reliably with an accuracy of testing on images from the gallery of 94% and 80% accuracy for testing using images taken directly from the camera.

Abstract

Penyakit lambung merupakan salah satu masalah kesehatan yang sering kali dianggap remeh namun, memiliki potensi serius jika tidak ditangani dengan baik. Kondisi ini dapat disebabkan oleh berbagai faktor, seperti pola makan yang tidak sehat, infeksi bakteri, dan kondisi medis tertentu. Untuk mengatasi masalah ini, dikembangkan sebuah Sistem Pakar Diagnosis Awal Penyakit Lambung yang memanfaatkan metode Forward Chaining dan Certainty Factor (CF). Sistem ini dirancang untuk membantu pengguna dalam mengidentifikasi penyakit lambung berdasarkan gejala yang dialami, dan memberikan rekomendasi penanganan awal. Metodologi pengembangan perangkat lunak yang digunakan dalam pembuatan sistem ini adalah metodologi Waterfall, yang terdiri dari lima tahap yang terstruktur, yaitu analisis, desain, implementasi, pengujian dan pemeliharaan namun, dalam penelitian ini tidak akan dilanjutkan hingga tahap pemeliharaan. Kakas pemodelan yang digunakan juga termasuk pemrograman terstruktur, seperti Flowchart dan Data Flow Diagram versi Yourdon dan DeMarco (DFD), untuk menggambarkan berbagai aspek sistem secara visual. Hasil pengujian menunjukkan bahwa implementasi metode Forward Chaining dan Certainty Factor pada sistem pakar ini telah berhasil diterapkan dengan baik, dengan nilai evaluasi Mean Square Error sebesar 0.0033. Sistem ini diharapkan dapat menjadi alat bantu yang efektif dalam mendukung upaya pencegahan dan penanganan dini penyakit lambung, serta meningkatkan kesadaran pengguna terhadap pentingnya menjaga kesehatan lambung.

Abstract

Pencarian sebuah buku di perpustakaan dapat dilakukan secara mudah jika kita sudah mengetahui judul buku, pengarang, bidang ilmu atau pun penerbit dari buku tersebut sebagai kata kunci. Tanpa kata kunci, pencarian buku akan sulit dilakukan karena pencarian akan membutuhkan waktu dan kita akan mencari buku tersebut di antara ratusan bahkan ribuan buku yang ada meskipun sudah ada katalog atau basis data. Basis data buku yang ada di perpustakaan merupakan gudang data dan untuk memanfaatkan gudang data tersebut, maka dapat digunakan proses temu balik informasi atau information retrieval (IR). Proses temu balik informasi merupakan suatu cara untuk menemukan kembali informasi pada dokumen atau basis data. Terdapat beberapa metode dalam IR ini, seperti inverted index, boolean retrieval, tokenization, stemming and lemmatization, dictionaries, wildcard queries, BM25F dan vector space model (VSM). Penelitian ini telah membandingkan metode vector space model dan BM25F untuk mencari waktu akses tercepat dalam pencarian buku. Data yang digunakan dalam penelitian ini merupakan data semu sebanyak 50 buku. Pengujian dilakukan sebanyak 20 kali terhadap 10 kata kunci yang berbeda dari 50 data buku yang ada. Berdasarkan pengujian yang telah dilakukan, metode Vector Space Model memiliki waktu pencarian yang lebih cepat dibandingkan dengan metode BM25F. Metode VSM menghasilkan rata-rata waktu pencarian 0,002 detik, sedangkan rata-rata waktu pencarian metode BM25F adalah 6,308 detik. Perbedaan waktu yang cukup besar dikarenakan metode MB25F mengharuskan pencarian kata kunci berdasarkan kategori yang ditentukan dulu, sedangkan metode VSM melakukan pencarian langsung kata kunci tanpa penentuan kategori.

Abstract

Kolintang (Indonesian’s xylophones) is popular nationwide as the traditional music instruments from Minahasa, a regency in North Sulawesi. It is usually played in ancestor worshipping rituals as it was believed that Kolintang had a close relationship with the traditional belief of North Sulawesi's natives and as their culture. Currently, there are several Kolintang applications developed that run either on Windows or Android operating system. They also use different types of controllers like a web camera, touch screen, and keyboard. Unfortunately, these applications are mostly intended for advanced users who have knowledge and skills in playing the Kolintang instruments. In addition, there remains a general lack of research on how to play the five instruments of Kolintang. Thus, this research will develop an e-learning application for the Kolintang musical instruments that are best suited the needs of novice and advanced users. An evaluation framework is developed to assess the quality and efficiency of learning objects of this application on the selected users by incorporating the Unified Theory of Acceptance and Use of Technology (UTAUT). Four criteria identified in this framework that are learning goal alignment, presentation design, interaction usability, and accessibility. The findings revealed that this e-learning application can help both novice and advance users to play the five instruments of Kolintang with ease and smoothness. The learning process can be done at the individual’s choice of pace and time. Key words: E-learning, Kolintang, Multimedia, North Sulawesi
