Abstract

Ketidakadilan gender dalam novel Perempuan Berkalung Sorban tergambar jelas dalam setiap tahapan peristiwa fisik dan batin, komunikasi verbal dan nonverbal antar pelaku, hubungan sebab-akibat yang mengharuskan tokoh mengalami perubahan nasib serta gerakan perubahan yang dilakukan tokoh dalam mengubah nasib hidupnya. Tujuan artikel ini adalah memaparkan ketidakadilan gender dalam novel melalui perspektif gender dan feminisme. Analisis novel ini menggunakan pendekatan kualitatif dengan metode deskripsi analisis. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan ketidakadilan gender berada dalam tiga lingkaran, yaitu (1) lingkaran kekuasaan dari garis patriarki yang mengatur perempuan dari berbagai sisi, (2) lingkaran anggapan yang memandang perempuan kaum yang lemah sehingga berbagai akses untuk memperoleh kesetaraan tidak berfungsi, dan (3) lingkaran patriarki yang menjadi dasar untuk mengontrol, menindas dan mengeksploitasi perempuan di ranah publik dan privat. Untuk itu, sikap feminisme dalam novel ini tergambar dalam perilaku tokoh berupa: a) pembentukkan konsep diri perempuan, b) kemandirian perempuan, c) perjuangan kebebasan atas penentuan tubuh sendiri.

Abstract

Abstract: The Influence of Vct Learning Model (Value Clarification Technique) on Learning Outcomes of Islamic Religious Education in Elementary School StudentsThe Influence of VCT Learning Model on Learning Outcomes of Islamic Religious Education Students at 90 Seluma Public Elementary Schools. The purpose of this study was to determine the effect of the Value Clarification Technique learning model on the learning outcomes of Islamic Religious Education students of the 90 Seluma Public Elementary School. The type of research is a quantitative research using quasi-experimental. This design uses to control and experimental groups. The data collection techniques used were observation, tests, and documentation. As a result, the use of the VCT learning model in the learning process greatly influences the learning outcomes of Seluma 90 Public Elementary School students. This can be seen from the tcount obtained is 5.248 while ttable = 2.042, then tcount is greater than ttable both at the 5% significance level, thus the working hypothesis in the study which states that there is an effect of the VCT  learning model on learning outcomes of Islamic Religious Education. 90 Seluma Public Elementary School students can be admitted.Abstrak: Pengaruh Model Pembelajaran VCT (Value Clarification Technique) Terhadap Hasil Belajar Pendidikan Agama Islam Siswa Sekolah DasarPengaruh Model Pembelajaran VCT (Value Clarification Technique) terhadap Hasil Belajar Pendidikan Agama Islam Siswa Sekolah Dasar Negeri 90 Seluma. Tujuan penelitian untuk mengetahui pengaruh model pembelajaran VCT terhadap hasil belajar Pendidikan Agama Islam siswa Sekolah Dasar Negeri 90 Seluma. Jenis penelitian adalah penelitian kuantitatif menggunakan metode quasi eksperimen. Desain ini menggunakan kelompok kontrol dan eksperimen. Teknik pengumpulan data yang digunakan yaitu observasi, tes dan dokumentasi. Hasilnya, penggunaan model pembelajaran VCT pada proses pembelajaran sangat berpengaruh terhadap hasil belajar siswa Sekolah Dasar Negeri 90 Seluma. Dilihat dari thitung yang diperoleh adalah 5,248 sedangkan ttabel= 2,042 maka thitung lebih besar dari ttabel baik pada taraf signifikansi 5% dengan demikian hipotesis kerja dalam penelitian yang menyatakan terdapat pengaruh model pembelajaran VCT  terhadap hasil belajar Pendidikan Agama Islam siswa Sekolah Dasar Negeri 90 Seluma dapat diterima.

Abstract

The problem raised in this study is how to comply with the principles of politeness in language and is there a violation of the principles of politeness in language among teenagers in Telaga Dewa V RT 15 Bengkulu City in terms of communicating and interacting. The purpose of this study is to describe the adherence to the principles of language politeness and violations of the principles of language politeness among adolescents in Telaga Dewa V RT 15 Bengkulu City in terms of communicating and interacting. This type of research is descriptive qualitative research. The subject of this study is the act of politeness in language performed by teenagers in Telaga Dewa V, RT 15, Bengkulu City in the form of conversation or interaction. While the informants in this study were several teenagers who lived in Telaga Dewa V, RT 15, Bengkulu City. Data collection techniques in the form of observation, documentation and interviews. The results of this study conclude that there are four maxims that are obeyed by adolescents in Telaga Dewa V, RT 15, Bengkulu City, namely tact maxim, generosity maxim, approbation maxim and modesty maxim which consists of 23 utterances. There were four violations of the principle of politeness in language at Telaga Dewa V, RT 15, Bengkulu City, namely the maxim of wisdom, the maxim of generosity, the maxim of appreciation/praise and the maxim of simplicity/humility which consists of 11 utterances.

Abstract

This study aims to describe changes in meaning and the factors that cause changes in the meaning of the Rejang language in Ujung Tanjung Dua Village, Lebong Regency. The research method used in this study is a qualitative research method. Data collection techniques used are observation, interviews, and documentation. The results of this study indicate that the change in meaning extends to the Rejang language which consists of six vocabularies, namely (1) awas, (2) Carai, (3) Esep, (4) Gen, (5) Gonong, (6) Mlai, the form of change in the meaning of amelioration consists of fifteen vocabularies, namely (1) Stir, (2) Inok, (3) Bisay, (4) Beleseng, (5) Bolon, (6) Ubo, (7) Danua, (8) Ganau, (9) Gupuak, (10) Jalet, (11) Nasea, (12) Ko os, (13) Mojoa, (14) Nokoa, (Pajuak). Based on the research, it can be concluded that there is a change in the meaning of the Rejang language in Ujung Tanjung Dua Village, Lebong Regency.

Abstract

The problem raised in this study is how the form of delivery of moral values ​​used by the author, the moral values ​​contained in the main character in dealing with problems and the form of moral values ​​contained in the novel 3600 Detik by Charon. The purpose of the study is to describe the form of conveying moral values ​​used by the author, the moral values ​​contained in the main character in dealing with life's problems and the form of moral values ​​contained in the novel 3600 Detik by Charon. The approach used in this research is a theoretical approach (literary pragmatic theory) and methodological approach (qualitative descriptive approach), and is studied using literary pragmatic studies. The method uses content analysis method. The data source is the novel 3600 Seconds by Charon. The data collected is in the form of words or quotes. Data collection techniques in the form of library techniques. Data validity techniques are focused on two ways, namely increasing persistence and using reference materials. The results of the study concluded that the form of moral delivery consists of two components, namely direct delivery which is conveyed through the author's description and through characters and indirect delivery which is conveyed through events and conflicts in the novel 3600 Detik. The moral values ​​contained in the main character in dealing with life's problems in the 3600 Seconds novel consist of five variants, namely disobeying school rules, caring for friends, never giving up, being firm and being honest. The form of moral values ​​contained in the 3600 Seconds novel consists of three aspects, namely the form of moral values ​​in human relations with God, forms of moral values ​​in human relations with humans and forms of moral values ​​in human relations with oneself.

Abstract

This study was aimed to reveal the effect of problem solving method on the students’ Indonesian subject learning outcomes in the second grade students of IPA Class of SMA Negeri 5 Lebong. This study was designed by using a quantitative approach implementing a quasi experimental method. This method allowed the researchers to study a control class and an experimental class, but the control class did not have a crucial function to control the external variables which influenced the implementation of the experiment. Based on the result of this research, it could be concluded that there was the effect of problem solving on the Indonesian learners’ learning outcomes at the second grade students of IPA Class of SMA Negeri 5 Lebong. It triumphantly revealed that there was the influential effect of the implementation of the problem solving learning method. It could be seen that thitung = 7,947 > ttabel =2,048 with the significance level 0,05%. The alternative hypothesis proved that the effect of problem solving on the Indonesian learners’ learning outcomes at the second grade students of IPA Class of SMA Negeri 5 Lebong was acceptable.

Abstract

Language skills must be owned by students. Therefore, the teacher's role is very important in the learning process because it must be able to provide strategic, innovative, and interesting methods, strategies, and learning media so that students are able to master the four language skills in Indonesian lessons, meaning that students must master these four skills in a balanced way. However, in reality, writing skills are still less favored by students, this is due to the number of students who have difficulty expressing ideas, feelings, and thoughts through writing. So that learning to write is more difficult than the three competencies in other language learning. The purpose of this study was to determine the effect of the RAFT strategy on the development of descriptive text writing skills for students of class X IPA1 SMA Negeri 2 Seluma. The type of research used is quantitative research. The sample of this study was 34 people. The instruments used are test sheets and documentation. The results obtained from this study, it is known that the hypothesis test was carried out, it was obtained that the value of Fcount> Ftable i.e. = 0.48 > 0.39, thus the hypothesis Ha was accepted, which means that the implementation of the RAFT strategy can improve the development of text writing skills. description of students of class X IPA1 SMA Negeri 2 Seluma. The implementation of the influence test in the results of this study found that the raft learning strategy on the development of writing skills in class X IPA1 SMA Negeri 2 Seluma, with the results of data management from the research conducted, it is known that there is a positive influence between RAFT strategy (X) on the development of descriptive text writing skills (Y).

Abstract

Pendidikan merupakan sarana yang digunakan untuk memperoleh suatu proses pembelajaran yang berguna untuk mengembangkan kemampuan peserta didik serta sebagai usaha untuk mencapai tujuan pembelajaran. Tujuan penelitian ini adalah: (1) mendeskripsikan penggunaan media gambar bertema konservasi lingkungan pada pembelajaran menulis puisi. (2) mendeskripsikan faktor penghambat dan pendukung penerapan media gambar bertema konservasi lingkungan dalam pembelajaran menulis puisi pada siswa kelas X TKJ SMK Negeri 6 Kota Bengkulu. Penelitian menggunakan pendekatan kualitatif dengan metode deskriptif. Dalam penelitian ini, peneliti menemukan beberapa temuan mengenai implementasi penggunaan media gambar bertema konservasi lingkungan pada pembelajaran menulis puisi siswa kelas X TKJ SMK Negeri 6 Kota Bengkulu yaitu: (1) perencanaan yang dilakukan oleh guru dan siswa sebelum pembelajaran Bahasa Indonesia dalam implementasi penggunaan media gambar bertema konservasi lingkungan (2) pelaksanaan  implementasi penggunaan media gambar bertema konservasi lingkungan dalam pembelajaran menulis puisi siswa kelas X TKJ (3) evaluasi implementasi penggunaan media gambar bertema konservasi lingkungan pada pembelajaran menulis puisi hanya dilakukan di akhir pembelajaran berupa hasil menulis puisi.

Abstract

Language styles are commonly used in newspapers intended to interact the readers’ reading interest and comprehension towards the delivered information. The aim of this research was to describe the language styles including the meaning used in the daily newspapers of Radar Selatan March 2021 edition. This research was designed by using a qualitative approach with a descriptive method. The research data was the news found in the daily newspapers of Radar Selatan March 2021 edition. The data was collected through observation and interview, and analyzed by using an analysis model proposed by Miles and Huberman. In this case, the researchers implemented triangulation techniques as the data validity technique of this research. The result of this research revealed that there were some types of language styles used in the daily newspapers of Radar Selatan March 2021 edition. The most dominant language styles found in the newspaper included: (1) metonymy, such as the use of some familiar and popular words used by the society, (2) parable, such as the use of parable to illustrate something based on the characteristics, (3) pars pro toto, (4) figurative language of association , (5) antanaclasis, (6) synecdoche, (7) epizeuxis, (8) eponymy, and (9) anaphora.
