Abstract

Abstrak: Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk menganalisis peningkatan pemahaman matematis siswa setelah diajar dengan model Inquiry Learning berbantuan Media Animasi Interaktif (IL-MAI) dan model Inquiry Learning (IL) dan Pengaruh pemahaman matematis siswa yang diajar dengan model IL-MAI dan model IL ditinjau dari self confidence siswa. Populasi penelitian ini adalah siswa kelas VIII MTs Pesri Kendari tahun 2017/2018. Teknik pengambilan sampel yaitu purposive sampling. Teknik pengumpulan data dilakukan pemberian angket self confidence dan tes pemahaman matematis berbentuk tes uraian. Teknik analisis data menggunakan statistik deskriptif dan inferensial. Berdasarkan hasil analisis dan pembahasan diperoleh kesimpulan: 1) ada peningkatan pemahaman matematis siswa yang signifikan setelah diajar dengan model inquiry learning berbantuan Media Animasi Interaktif (IL-MAI) pada MTs Pesri Kendari; 2) ada peningkatan pemahaman matematis siswa yang signifikan setelah diajar dengan pembelajaran saintifik pada MTs Pesri Kendari; 3) Rerata peningkatan pemahaman matematis siswa yang diajar dengan model IL-MAI secara signifikan lebih baik dibanding siswa yang diajar dengan model IL pada MTs Pesri Kendari; 4) ada perbedaan pengaruh pemahaman matematis yang siginifikan antara siswa yang diajar menggunakan model IL-MAI dengan siswa yang diajar menggunakan model IL-MAI ditinjau dari setiap tingkatan self confidence pada materi Bangun Ruang Sisi Datar di MTs Pesri Kendari tahun pelajaran 2017/2018.Kata kunci: Inquiry learning, pemahaman matematis, self confidence Abstract: This study aims to analyze an increase in students' mathematical understanding after being taught with Inquiry Learning models assisted by Interactive Animation Media (IL-MAI) and Inquiry Learning (IL) models and Effect of mathematical understanding of students taught with IL-MAI models and IL models in terms of student self confidence. The population of this study is class VIII MTs Pesri Kendari in 2017/2018. The sampling technique is purposive sampling. The data collection technique was carried out by giving self confidence questionnaires and mathematical understanding tests in the form of description tests. The data analysis technique uses descriptive and inferential statistics. Based on the results of the analysis and discussion concluded: 1) there is a significant increase in students' mathematical understanding after being taught with a model of learning inquiry assisted by Interactive Animation Media (IL-MAI) in MTs Pesri Kendari; 2) there is a significant increase in students' mathematical understanding after being taught with scientific learning in MTs Pesri Kendari; 3) The mean increase in mathematical understanding of students taught with IL-MAI models was significantly better than students taught with IL models on MTs Pesri Kendari; 4) there are differences in the influence of significant mathematical understanding between students taught using IL-MAI models and students taught using IL-MAI models in terms of each level of self confidence in the material Build Flat Side Space in MTs Pesri Kendari school year 2017/2018. Keywords: Inquiry learning, mathematical understanding, self confidence

Abstract

Pemakaian komputer dewasa ini semakin luas di segala bidang. Lamanya penggunaankomputer dianjurkan tidak lebih dari 4 jam sehari. Apabila melebihi waktu tersebut, mata cenderungmengalami kelelahan. Kelelahan mata tersebut akan meningkat apabila kualitas pencahayaan diruang kerja tersebut kurang baik. PT. XYZ adalah perusahaan yang bergerak dalam pengolahanproduk makanan ternak, dimana sebagian besar proses produksi dijalankan oleh mesin. Prosesproduksi tersebut diatur dan diawasi oleh 3 operator melalui komputer di dalam ruang kontrolselama 7 jam kerja. Setiap operator bekerja mengamati display dari 4 monitor. Pada penelitian awal,tingkat pencahayaan pada ruang kontrol PT. XYZ bekisar antara 21-65 Lux. Pencahayaan tersebuttidak memenuhi standar Kepmenkes Nomor 1405/MENKES/SK/XI/2002 yang merekomendasikansebesar 300 lux. Beberapa keluhan kelelahan mata yang didapat dari wawancara dengan operatoryaitu operator merasakan keluhan penglihatan seperti berkabut, mata perih dan mata seringberkedip. Oleh karena itu penelitian ini dilakukan untuk melihat pengaruh pencahayaan terhadapkelelahan mata operator, dan memperbaiki pencahayaan sesuai dengan standar kebutuhan kerja.Penelitian ini bersifat kuantitatif karena dilakukan pengukuran langsung terhadap iluminasi sumbercahaya dan luminansi dari monitor dengan menggunakan instrumen lux meter serta kelelahan matadengan instrumen fliker fusion. Metode penelitian bersifat deskriptif korelasional, yaitu untukmendapatkan gambaran mengenai tingkat pencahayaan ruang kontrol dan dibandingkan denganstandar yang sudah ditetapkan, serta mengkaji keterkaitan antara faktor iluminasi dan luminansiterhadap kelelahan mata operator. Hasil perhitungan korelasi antara tingkat iluminasi dan luminansikelelahan mata menunjukan bahwa terdapat hubungan yang rendah, hal ini menunjukkan bahwailuminasi dan luminansi bukan faktor dominan penyebab kelelahan mata.

Abstract

PT. XYZ Unit Fractination and Refinery Factory (FRF) adalah salah satu perusahaanyang bergerak dalam bidang produksi pengolahan CPO menjadi RBD Olein, RBD Stearin danFree Fatty Acid (FFA). Perusahaan sering kali tidak dapat memperkirakan jumlah produksiyang tepat dalam memenuhi permintaan pasar. Perusahaan mengharapkan tidak terjadikekurangan produk yang berakibat akan kehilangan kesempatan untuk menjual produknamun juga tidak mengharapkan terjadi kelebihan produk yang berakibat biaya inventori akanmeningkat. Metode yang dilakukan sebagai solusi optimal untuk menentukan jumlah produksiRBD Olein dan RBD Stearin adalah metode dynamic programming. Pengolahan data yangdilakukan dengan meramalkan permintaan dan kemudian diolah dengan program dinamis.Variabel keputusan diambil berdasarkan pada kegiatan yang ada di pabrik yaitu kegiatanproduksi dan kegiatan pengadaan bahan baku. Sasaran yang ingin dicapai dari penelitian iniadalah untuk menentukan tingkat produksi yang optimal guna mendapatkan keuntunganyang maksimal dengan menggunakan metode programan dinamis. Hasil total biaya produksioptimal yang diperoleh dengan dynamic programming sebesar Rp. 738.747.635.151,sementara total biaya produksi aktual perusahaan di tahun 2011 sebesar Rp.748.716.706.550. Dari hasil perbandingan didapatkan metode penelitian memberikanpenghematan biaya sebesar Rp.9.969.071.399.

Abstract

This study was conducted to determine the role of women in household food security, identify alternatif of local food resources (non-rice) adaptive to the role of women and their utilization, and women’s empowerment modelingbasedpotential of local food resources. The method used is qualitative and quantitative. The respondents of this study is a housewifes who lives in the three typhologies of village, i.e. village of paddy fields, dry village, and beach village. The results show that women have a considerable role in household food security, both from the aspect of food production, procurement / preparation of food, food processing, and food quality. Several types of local food that is found i.e. cassava, bananas, maize, sweet potato, canna, taro, arrowroot, Uwi, gembili, breadfruit, juwawut, and kimpul (for food crops); cassava leaves, papaya leaves, leaf melinjo, spinach, mustard greens, cabbage, beans, and spinach (forvegetables); as well as mango, papaya, banana, melon, jackfruit and rambutan (for fruits). Alternative crops (non-rice) can be processed into some kind of processed food. Cassava, maize and bananas is a commodity that most processed into some kind of processed food product variants.Although it looks fairly prominent role of women in various aspects of household food security, but many found the weaknesses and the potential that can be optimized in order to improve their food security.Therefore, it takes several empowerment programs implemented to support the optimization of their role, among others, increasing knowledge about food consumption that meets the criteria B2SA, habituationfor consumption local food in compliance with food daily, developing culinary industry based on local food, and the optimization of land use.

Abstract

Abstract This research aimed to describe millenial generation perception of viel as identity, fashion, communication, and creativity. It used the focus discussion group technique. The result showed a variety of viel perception. As an identity, viel became moslemah wearing that must be according to Islamic rules. Viel also could be used in various daily activities as long as it didn’t disturbed the activity’s purpose. In its development, viel has been a chiq wearing and has been included to the fashion sphere. Fashion and creativity were a sphere to express the ability in the dynamic of modelling and business world. Viel as an identity and fashion gave a vast chances and challenges for the designers and businessmen to create creative modes gradually. The main challenge for the fashion designer and businessmen were because viel was originally derived from moslem fashion tied by Islamic rule. Abstract

Abstract In the information technology era, organizational transformation and change are the way which for many organizations to survive in their dynamic environment. The form of transformation and change are many varieties and depend on the capacity and size of organization in it. The effort of transformation and changes sometime faces with resistance because of two factors, that is individual resistance and organizational resistance. Agents of transformation and change can be formed by structure, technology, physical setting and people. To develop these capabilities, organizations are forced to rethink how redesign their structures and human resources. For the coming year organizational design needs to be simpler, flatter, more flexible, lateral, and managed by knowledge worker. Abstract

Discipline and exemplary must be carried out continuously or habitually to create a character. Character education strategies require tools/media to implement them. The tool is in the form of rules, regulations, norms, and existing ethics. Cadets are among the representatives of a generation that demands high quality and performance. Cadets are essential in deciding a nation's progress since an advanced nation has a high degree of quality people resources, praiseworthy character, and a strong and resilient mental attitude. This study aims to find out how the application of character education to the formation of personality and professionalism of cadets in carrying out education and to find out the options/views that can be developed in character education, personality, and professionalism of cadets. This research used a descriptive approach. The data was collected from interviews, field notes, personal documents, notes or memos of researchers, and other supporting official documents. The results of this study in the form of character education factors explain the variance of 48,437%. Personality factors can explain the variance of 15,635%. The professionalism factor is the third factor, with an eigen of 3,591 and a variance value of 38,129%. The Preventive Punishment factor is the fourth factor that has a variance of 25,456%. It can be concluded that the analysis of several factors in determining cadets' character education strategy, personality, and professionalism, with preventive punishments, is carried out with rules, recommendations and orders, prohibitions, and discipline.

Abstract

The main problem faced by students in the vocational field is the lack of specificity in the scientific field that focuses on mastering the knowledge, skills, and attitudes needed in the world of work. In addition, the emphasis on learning by doing the role of the student-centred learning approach becomes less attention from educators. This study aims to develop and implement an experiential learning design in the nautical science program through student worksheets based on the Kolb experiential learning stages by considering the Felder- Silverman student learning style and analyzing student attitudes and responses after participating in learning activities. We used the field case study method (case study research) with qualitative descriptive data analysis techniques. The results showed that the learning style preferences of nautical science students from the learning style categories: (1) 87.41% were categorized as active; (2) 84.44% were categorized as visual; (3) 81.48% were categorized as sensing; and (4) 57.04% were categorized as sequential. The results also show that the experiential learning design is feasible for using learning models and learning material assessments. The implementation of experiential learning activities was carried out very well. Learning activities are carried out on force based on the stages of concrete experience, reflective observations, abstract conceptualization, and active experimentation. Students' attitudes and responses are positive towards the experiential learning design. Experiential activities help students learn Basic Mechanical Engineering Design (cognitive), and they like to participate in learning activities (affective). The experiential design is practical in learning, canin learning, career theory and practice learning. H o w e v e r , some students respond that experiential learning activities are less challenging and too much of a task because they prefer to avoid many tasks.

Abstract

The purpose of the study was to examine partnership patterns in increasing the productivity of inter-island transportation services in the Sangkarrang District archipelago. The method used descriptive qualitative and quantitative analysis, considering the empirical perceptions of transportation users, operators, regulators and also the public to be able to explain how the existence of the marine transportation service system in the Makassar archipelago. The sample was selected based on the criteria of population, area and potential of the region, using probability sampling with cluster random sampling to determine the potential conditions and economic activities of the community. Field physical studies and quantitative statistics were conducted to explain the conditions. The results of the study showed that partnership patterns involving the government, the private sector, and local communities have proven to be able to increase the efficiency, accessibility, and quality of transportation services. Forms of partnerships such as operational management, investment, and training have proven to have a direct impact on increasing the frequency of trips, more regular ship maintenance, and increasing the capacity and quality of human resources.
