Abstract

Dual Fuel Diesel Engine (Mesin Bahan Bakar Ganda) merupakan mesin denganpemanfaatan dua bahan bakar dalam proses pembakarannya untuk memperoleh tenaga kerjapada mesin. Jenis bahan bakar yang digunakan meliputi bahan bakar Methane Gas (CH4)dan MGO (Marine Gas Oil). Methane (CH4) dihasilkan dari Vapour Cargo Tank LNG(Liquified Natural Gas). Tujuan dari penelitian ini adalah untuk mengetahui apa sajapenyebab tingginya suhu gas buang terhadap kinerja Dual Fuel Diesel Engine di MV.Tangguh Palung dengan menggunakan metode analisis data Fault Tree Analysis. Darianalisis data penelitian di hasilkan beberapa rumusan masalah yaitu, faktor-faktor yangdapat menyebabkan tingginya suhu gas buang pada Dual Fuel Diesel Engine adalahkurangnya suplai udara pembakaran dalam ruang pembakaran mesin, komposisipembakaran yang tidak sesuai antara bahan bakar minyak dan gas, serta suhu Engine Roomyang terlalu panas. Dampak yang di timbulkan adalah kerusakan pada komponen-komponenpermesinan dan penurunan kinerja dari Dual Fuel Diesel Engine. Untuk mengatasipenurunan kerja pada Dual Fuel Diesel Engine adalah dengan melaksanakan perawatan danperbaikan pada setiap komponen permesinan yang mengalami masalah dan kerusakan sesuaidengan Running Hours dan Instruction Manual Book.

Abstract

Jangkar kiri MV. DK 01 terlepas pada saat berlabuh jangkar di anchorage areaPelabuhan Tanjung Intan Cilacap sehingga perlu diketahui faktor-faktor yang menyebabkanterlepasnya jangkar kiri pada saat berlabuh jangkar dan upaya yang perlu dilakukan setelahterlepasnya jangkar kiri pada saat open brake tersebut agar proses berlabuh jangkar dapatdilaksanakan dengan baik. Metode yang digunakan adalah fishbone analysis untuk mencari faktor-faktorpermasalahan dan USG analysis untuk menghasilkan perioritas masalah. Faktor-faktorpenyebab yaitu kurangnya kesadaran crew kapal akan pentingnya proses berlabuh jangkar,pemilihan metode berlabuh jangkar yang kurang efektif, kurangnya perawatan danpengecekan windlass, kondisi lingkungan yang tidak mendukung. Upaya yang perlu dilakukan adalah Second Officer langsung memplotting posisi jangkarkiri yang terjatuh untuk menghindari jangkar kiri tersebut hilang dan Nahkoda sebagaipemimpin kapal langsung mengambil kebijakan untuk menggunakan jangkar kanan denganmetode walk back ship anchoring method dimana jangkar kanan diturunkan dengan hati-hatimenggunakan rem untuk menghindari kejadian yang sama.

Abstract

This research aims to develop problem-solving strategies for strength-opportunity, weakness-opportunity, strength-threat, and weakness-threat analysis in the context of developing and implementing an Integrated Learning Management System (ILCMS) in universities. Based on the results of the SWOT analysis, some suggested strategies include building partnerships and collaboration between universities, integrating student skills, improving infrastructure, adopting the latest technology, and advocating to the government. These strategies are expected to strengthen the implementation of SMPT and improve the quality of education in universities. In addition, this research also explores problem-solving strategies against the strength-threat, weakness-opportunity, and weakness-threat analyses. These strategies include building industry partnerships and student empowerment. These partnerships create a collaborative environment between companies and universities, where companies provide students with insights, resources and job opportunities. In addition, universities can also collaborate with companies in designing curricula that are relevant to industry needs, so that students can get an education that is in line with the latest developments. Industry partnerships and student empowerment also provide benefits to companies, such as access to talent and influence on curriculum development and research. In order to achieve successful partnerships, it is important for universities and companies to engage in open dialog, listen to each other, and appreciate each other's perspectives. In addition, universities need to prepare students with the cross-disciplinary skills and adaptability required in the world of work. By implementing these strategies, universities can optimize the use of technology in education, improve infrastructure, address the digital divide, and enhance the quality of learning. In addition, industry partnerships and student empowerment are expected to create a relevant educational environment and prepare a competent workforce to face future challenges.

Abstract

Abstrak. Keterserapan lulusan pada dunia kerja yang rendah dapat menjadi indikasi bahwa dunia kerja masih sulit untuk menerima lulusan pendidikan vokasi karena kesiapannya untuk memasuki dunia kerja masih minim. Studi ini mengembangkan model empiris untuk dapat menjelaskan kesiapan memasuki dunia kerja. Pengujian model empiris dilakukan dengan menggunakan calon lulusan pendidikan vokasi dari Politeknik Pelayaran. Pengujian model empiris dilakukan dengan pendekatan Structural Equation Modeling (SEM). Hasilnya menunjukkan bahwa pelatihan dan praktek kerja industry terbukti berpengaruh positif signifikan terhadap self efficacy. Self efficacy terbukti berpengaruh positif signifikan terhadap kesiapan memasuki dunia kerja. Abstract. The low absorption of graduates in the workplace can be an indication that the workplace is still difficult to accept vocational graduates because of their preparation to enter the workplace is not enough. This study develops an empirical model to explain their preparation to enter the workplace. Empirical model testing carried out using prospective vocational education graduates from the Shipping Polytechnic. Empirical model testing carried out with the Structural Equation Modeling (SEM) approach. The results show that training and industrial work practices have a significant positive effect on self-efficacy. Self efficacy has been proven to have a positive effect on their preparation to enter the workplace.

Abstract

Students must have high discipline, creativity, and work ethic when dealing with their tasks to become quality resources. However, some aspects that impact student performance include locus of control and academic proxination. Therefore, this study aims to assess the extent of the impact of Locus of Control and Academic Procrastination on Student Learning Achievement. We used an analytic survey with a cross-sectional design. The study population was first-year students of the Nautical Study Program at Makassar Polytechnic of Shipping Science. The sampling technique used simple random sampling with a sample of 92 students. Data collection tools using questionnaires and tests. Data analysis techniques using multiple linear regression. The results showed that locus of control and academic procrastination significantly influence student achievement. In this case, locus of control has a positive relationship with student achievement, which means that the better the locus of control of students, the better student achievement. Academic procrastination has a negative relationship with student learning achievement; the higher the academic procrastination, the lower the student's learning achievement.

Abstract

International Ship and Port Facility Security Code (ISPS Code) adalah regulasi yang diterbitkan oleh IMO (International Maritime Organization) untuk mengatur tentang kegiatan-kegiatan dan langkah-langkah yang harus diambil dalam menanggulangi ancaman kamanan di laut. Kapal Floating Storage Offloading (FSO) merupakan salah satu Kapal yang dipersyaratkan menerapkan aturan yang terdapa didalam ISPS Code. Penelitian dilaksanakan diatas Kapal Floating Storage Offloading (FSO) Federal 2 yang beroprasi di Kilang Minyak Widuri Terminal, untuk melihat pemahaman Awak Kapal terhadap peraturan yang ada dalam ISPS Code dan penerapan ISPS Code tersebut. Metode Penelitian dilakukan melalui observasi secara langsung dan Wawancara kepada Awak Kapal untuk mengetahui tingkat pemahaman Awak Kapal terkait peraturan ISPS Code yang ada. Dari Hasil Penelitian ditunjukan bahwa kurangnya pemahaman Awak Kapal terhadap peraturan yang ada pada ISPS Code dan mengakibatkan penerapan ISPS Code diatas kapal FSO Federal 2 belum berjalan maksimal. Penerapan ini dapat ditingkatkan dengan dukungan media sosialiasi document aturan ISPS Code dan pengoptimaliasasi pemanfaatan alat – alat kemamanan diatas Kapal agar pelaksaan pengoprasian Kapal dan terminal dapat berjalan dengan lancer dan aman.

Abstract

Tujuan dengan dilatar belakangi permasalahan pencemaran lingkungan khususnya pada dunia maritim yang semakin merebak, maka kami berupaya mengangkatnya ke penelitian yang berjudul analisis system penanganan pencegahan tumpahan minyak yang berdasarkan aturan yang berlaku yaitu marpol 78/78. Penelitian ini dilakukan di MV Mariwit. Penelitian ini dilakukan selama 15 bulan 9 hari tehitung dari tanggal 30 November 2020. Metode penelitian yang digunakan yaitu kualitatif, dengan pengambilan data melalui Field Research yang meliputi observasi dan wawancara dibantu dengan Library Research dan Internet Research. Hasil yang diperoleh penelitian ini adalah kurangnya perawatan pada perangkat-perangkat bongkar muat sehingga seringnya terjadi tumpahan minyak di kapal serta rendahnya kesadaran awak kapal dalam penanganan tumpahan minyak terutama menaati tugas dan tanggungjawabnya dalam sijil rencana keadaan darurat pencemaran minyak di laut (SOPEP).

Abstract

Penelitian ini berinovasi dengan menekankan nilai pertukaran pengetahuan dalam lingkungan belajar. Penelitian ini meneliti rintangan dan merangsang kegiatan berbagi pengetahuan dalam lingkungan di mana pelatihan terbatas dan kuantitas dosen yang berkualitas tidak sesuai dengan kebutuhan kelas. Penelitian ini menguji tujuh faktor yang mempengaruhi efikasi diri dengan fokus pada konsep tersebut. Uji regresi digunakan untuk menilai data yang dikumpulkan melalui wawancara dengan 78 instruktur laboratorium. Temuan menunjukkan bahwa tingkat efikasi diri memiliki dampak yang signifikan terhadap bagaimana praktik berbagi informasi dikembangkan. Dengan membangun hubungan antara efikasi diri dan keberhasilan berbagi pengetahuan, temuan ini benar-benar mengubah metode yang biasa digunakan. Penelitian ini secara signifikan memajukan pengetahuan kita tentang bagaimana informasi dapat disebarkan secara efektif dalam menghadapi isu-isu pendidikan kontemporer dengan mendobrak paradigma konvensional. Untuk memaksimalkan efek positif dari berbagi informasi, efikasi diri harus ditingkatkan selain kemahiran teknis. Kata Kunci: self efficacy; knowledge sharing

Abstract

The purpose of the study was to examine partnership patterns in increasing the productivity of inter-island transportation services in the Sangkarrang District archipelago. The method used descriptive qualitative and quantitative analysis, considering the empirical perceptions of transportation users, operators, regulators and also the public to be able to explain how the existence of the marine transportation service system in the Makassar archipelago. The sample was selected based on the criteria of population, area and potential of the region, using probability sampling with cluster random sampling to determine the potential conditions and economic activities of the community. Field physical studies and quantitative statistics were conducted to explain the conditions. The results of the study showed that partnership patterns involving the government, the private sector, and local communities have proven to be able to increase the efficiency, accessibility, and quality of transportation services. Forms of partnerships such as operational management, investment, and training have proven to have a direct impact on increasing the frequency of trips, more regular ship maintenance, and increasing the capacity and quality of human resources.
