Abstract

The coastal part of Semarang City is generally formed from alluvial deposits, which have rock structure characteristics that are still undergoing a consolidation process, this is one of the causes of land subsidence, besides that it is influenced by other factors, namely groundwater extraction by means of deep wells (artetist), the effect of the burden, the effect of global climate change. The service team conducted outreach to the community in RW 12, Tanjung Mas Village, North Semarang, Semarang City about the causes of land subsidence, the impact and how to overcome it, as well as community participation in assisting the government. With this service, it is hoped that the community in the Tanjung Mas Village area can participate and assist in preventing/reducing and overcoming and monitoring, especially the causes and impacts of land subsidence. The method used in this socialization includes providing hardcopy material, explaining the material, and discussing the content of the material. After the socialization was held, the understanding of the people in the area increased from 60% to 80%.

Abstract

Technological developments really help a civil engineering graduate in designing in the civil engineering field. There are a lot of software that can be used to design runway pavement thicknesses, one of them is COMFAA. In this service activity, the service team conducted training about the calculation of the runway pavement thickness at the airport using COMFAA software for civil engineering students and construction workers. The purposes of this service activity are to give deep understanding about the design of pavement layers on airport runways, to develop knowledge in pavement thickness designs, and to enhance the engineering student’s competence in using COMFAA to plan airport pavement layers. The implementation of this service was carried out in Semarang for Civil Engineering students and Construction Actors. The result was an understanding enhancement of runway pavement analysis from 0% to 77%.

Abstract

Eggs are an almost perfect source of animal protein. Consumption of chicken eggs is a perfect food ingredient that contains high nutrients. Increasing the consumption of salted eggs can be done by making salted eggs in a wet way. In using wet media it is very easy to use water media which can be measured with certainty in adjusting the amount of salt content added. Salt levels are very influential in the results of these eggs later. Salt will enter the egg through the pores of the eggshell to the egg white, then to the egg yolk. The salt will draw out the water contained in the egg. through socialization activities on Making Salted Eggs with Water Media to Improve the Soft Skills of Pindrikan Lor Semarang Residents resulting in an understanding of making salted eggs with water media there was a significant increase from 20% to 67%, this shows that the service activities carried out were successful

Abstract

Pondasi merupakan elemen yang sangat penting dalam suatu bangunan. Namun, pondasi juga rentan mengalami penurunan. Penurunan pondasi dapat berdampak pada struktur utama bangunan. Pada dasarnya, penurunan pondasi terjadi ketika pondasi tersebut menanggung beban struktur di atasnya. Penurunan pondasi harus dipertimbangkan saat tahap perencanaan proyek konstruksi agar tidak melebihi batas izin yang telah ditetapkan. Tujuan dari penulisan ini adalah untuk mengidentifikasi kapasitas daya dukung pondasi dan pergerakan tanah yang terjadi. Jenis pondasi yang digunakan dalam Proyek Pembangunan Instalasi Pengolahan Air Kawasan Industri Terpadu Batang adalah pondasi pancang. Data dikumpulkan menggunakan data sekunder, termasuk gambar dan laporan investigasi tanah. Perhitungan beban pada struktur dilakukan dengan menggunakan program SAP2000, menghasilkan gaya aksial sebesar 5006,996 kN, gaya geser sebesar 4,979 kN, momen dalam arah X sebesar 72,7124 kN/m, dan momen dalam arah Y sebesar 322,0355 kN/m. Kapasitas daya dukung ultimit pondasi tiang tunggal adalah 4791,44 kN, sementara kapasitas daya dukung ultimit pondasi tiang kelompok adalah 5971,998 kN. Penurunan pondasi tiang tunggal dan tiang kelompok adalah 13,573 mm dan 30,350 mm, secara berturut-turut. Penurunan pondasi yang terjadi dianggap aman karena nilainya lebih rendah dari batas izin yang diizinkan
