Abstract

Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk menganalisis pengaruh angka harapan hidup, gizi dan morbiditas terhadap pertumbuhan ekonomi Sumatera Barat. Bentuk data pada penelitian ini adalah data panel yang terdiri dari 19 kabupaten/kota di Sumatera Barat dari tahun 2013-2018. Teknik analisis data menggunakan Regresi Panel.Hasil penelitian menyimpulkan bahwa variabel angka harapan hidup dan gizi berpengaruh positif dan signifikan terhadap pertumbuhan ekonomi Sumatera Barat.Sedangkan variabel morbiditas berpengaruh negatif signifikan terhadap pertumbuhan ekonomi Sumatera Barat.Oleh karena itu, diharapkan kepada pemerintah untuk dapat memperhatikan kondisi kesehatan masyarakat karena terbukti bahwa kondisi kesehatan masyarakat berdampak terhadap naik turunnya pertumbuhan ekonomi Sumatera Barat

Abstract

This study examines the analysis of the effect of income, savings and consumption in the previous year on consumption, with the scope of Indonesia. The data used in this study is secondary data obtained from the publications of the relevant agencies. This study uses Panel Regression analysis. The results of the study: (1) The effect of income on consumption is significant and positive, (2) The effect of saving on consumption is negative and not significant, (3) The effect of previous year's consumption on consumption is significant and positive, (4) Simultaneously, the effect of income, saving and consumption of the previous year to the consumption of Indonesian people is significant.

Abstract

The aims the research to analyze the effect of macroeconomics to inflation in ASEAN-5. This research used panel data for the period 2009-2019 taken from World Bank, ASEAN Statistics and International Financial Statistics (IFS). This research uses panel data regression analysis with economic growth, narrow money, broad money and exchange rates as independent variables and inflation as the dependent variable. The results of this research showed the variables of economic growth and broad money have a positive and significant effect on the inflation in ASEAN-5. Besides, the variable of narrow money has a negative and significant effect on the inflation in ASEAN-5. While the exchange rate variable has a positive but not significant effect on the inflation in ASEAN-5.

Abstract

This study aims to analyze the factors that influence the demand for fuel oil in Indonesia. The independent variables of this study are: (X1) Economy, (X2) Total Population. The model chosen in this study is the Random Effect Model (REM). This type of research is descriptive and associative research, the data used in this study are secondary data using panel data techniques during the 2015-2018 period. Documentation data collection techniques obtained from the Central Statistics Agency and BPH Migas. Data were analyzed using the Regression Panel.The results of this study indicate that: (1) The economy has a positive and significant effect on demand for fuel oil in Indonesia. This means that as the economy increases, the demand for fuel oil in Indonesia also increases. Indonesia's energy consumption is dominated by fossil energy, especially fuel. Final energy consumption consists of various sectors, namely households, industry, transportation, commercial, and others. Energy is very much needed in carrying out Indonesia's economic activities, both for consumption needs and for the production activities of various economic sectors. (2) The population has a positive and significant effect on the demand for fuel oil in Indonesia. This means that the greater the population, the higher the demand for fuel oil in Indonesia. From year to year the population of Indonesia as one of the developing countries in the world continues to experience growth. This growth has had various impacts on aspects of human life. One aspect that is quite affected by the increase in population is the use of energy to support the necessities of life which includes the industrial sector, households, transportation and so forth. The greater the population, the greater the energy used.

Abstract

This research was conducted to: (1) Determine the influence of gender on household poverty in West Sumatra. (2) Knowing the effect of education level on household poverty in West Sumatra. (3) Knowing the effect of Main Work on household poverty in West Sumatra (4) Knowing the effect of the number of household members on household poverty in West Sumatra. This research is descriptive and associative. The data used is the SUSENAS year sourced from the BPS of West Sumatra Province. The method uses Logistic Regression Analysis. The results of the study are: (1) Gender has a significant positive effect on the level of household poverty in West Sumatra, the head of the household is headed by a man. -men are more likely to be poor than households headed by women in West Sumatra. (2) The level of education has a significant negative effect on the level of poverty in West Sumatra, the increase in the level of education completed by the head of the family, the less likely it is for the household to become poor. (3) Main employment has a significant positive effect on poverty levels in West Sumatra. (4) The number of household members also has a significant positive effect on the level of household poverty in West Sumatra.

Abstract

This study aims to explain the causality relationship between income inequality, economic growth, and poverty in Indonesia. In this study using a panel regression model. And data used are time series data from 2011-2017, Consisting of 32 provinces. This data is obtained from BPS annual report. The result of this study indicate that (1) There is no causal relationship between economic growth and poverty (2) There is a causal relationship between income inequality and poverty (3) There is a one-way causal relationship between economic growth and income inequality.

Abstract

The study examines to analyze the effect of education, health and wage rate to labor productivity in Indonesia. The research uses panel data for the period from 2015 to 2020. Study result: Education and wage rate have a significant and positive effect on the labor productivity in Indonesia. Health have a not significant and negative effect on the labor productivity productivity in Indonesia. Simultaneously, the effect of education, health and wage rate to the labor productivity in Indonesia is significant.

Abstract

This article aims to identify and analyze some of the main references regarding the relationship between religiosity and Islamic banking performance. The research method used is a systematic literature review using the Science Direct database from Elsevier. From several stages of systematic literature review, found 127 main references from journals ranked Q1 and Q2 from Scopus. This study finds that the journal that has the most influence on research on religiosity and Islamic banking performance is the International Journal of Information Management. In addition, this study also found that only one article actually analyzed the impact of religion (religiosity) on the performance of Islamic banks, so there is an opportunity to conduct research on the topic of religiosity and Islamic banking performance in the future with different regional contexts and variable relationships.

Abstract

This study aims to determine the effect of education, health, road infrastructureand population on economic growth in West Sumatra. The data used in thisstudy is panel, data sourced from the Badan Pusat Statistik Sumatera Baratfrom 2018-2020. The analytical method used is panel data regression analysis.This research is classified into descriptive research and inductive research. Theresults: education has a positive effect on economic growth but this effect is notsignificant, health has a positive and insignificant effect on economic growth,road infrastructure has a positive and significant effect on economic growth,population has a negative effect and has a significant influence on economicgrowth. In West Sumatra. Simultaneously education, health, roadinfrastructure and population have a significant effect on economic growth inWest Sumatra.
