Abstract

Pelaku UMKM di Desa Ngeper, Kecamatan Padangan, Kabupaten Bojonegoro, menghadapi kendala dalam memasarkan produk secara digital akibat minimnya pengetahuan dan keterampilan di bidang digital marketing. Kegiatan pengabdian ini bertujuan untuk meningkatkan kapasitas pelaku usaha dalam memanfaatkan media digital guna memperluas pasar dan daya saing. Metode pelaksanaan menggunakan pendekatan ABCD (Asset-Based Community Development) yang menekankan pada penguatan potensi lokal melalui tahapan Discovery, Dream, Design, dan Delivery. Kegiatan Pelatihan diikuti oleh UMKM yang ada di desa ngeper sebanyak 21 Peserta. Pelatihan dilaksanakan selama dua hari dan mencakup materi strategi pemasaran online, pembuatan akun bisnis, konten promosi, serta praktik langsung. Hasil kegiatan menunjukkan peningkatan signifikan dalam pemahaman dan keterampilan peserta, yang dibuktikan melalui hasil post-test dan partisipasi aktif selama pelatihan, Rata-rata nilai post-test mengalami kenaikan sebesar 25 poin atau sekitar 45%. Kegiatan ini mendorong transformasi digital UMKM secara berkelanjutan dan membangun sinergi antara perguruan tinggi, pemerintah desa, dan masyarakat.

Abstract

Pandemi covid-19 memberikan dampak yang kurang baik terhadap perekonomian. Sehingga diperlukan adanya inovasi baru untuk menambah pendapatan masyarakat. Desa Kandangan merupakan salah satu desa yang terletak di kecamatan Trucuk kabupaten Bojonegoro, yang kami pilih untuk dijadikan pengabdian. Pengabdian ini dilatarbelakangi oleh banyaknya aset pohon pisang yang dimiliki oleh desa kandangan. Ditandai dengan adanya pohon pisang disetiap pekarangan. Warga desa kandangan menjadikan pohon pisang untuk menyambung hidup dengan mengeringkan pelepah pisang disepanjang jalan. Yang kemudian setelah pelepah pisang itu kering langsung dijual mentahan ke pengepul. Ada juga yang diinovasikan menjadi dalungan. Sehingga dapat dijual dengan harga yang lebih terjangkau. Namun kebanyakan dari mereka lebih suka menjual mentahan ke pengepul. Karena selain proses kerjanya cepat juga lebih cepat mendapatkan uang. Hal ini karena kurangnya kreativitas dan inovasi warga kandangan dalam memanfaatkan asset yang ada. Oleh karena itu kami memberikan terobosan baru yakni dengan mengadakan workhshop pemanfaatn pohon pisang menjadi aneka kerajinan. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengetahui pemberdayaan ekonomi desa kandangan dengan memanfaatkan pohon pisang menjadi aneka kerajinan. Metode yang digunakan dalam pengabdian ini adalah metode Asset Based Community Development (ABCD). Jenis penelitian ini adalah penelitian lapangan. Pendekatan yang digunakan dalam penelitian ini adalah pendekatan kualitataif deskriptif. Hasil penelitian ini menujukkan bahwa dengan adanya workhsop pemanfaataan pohon pisang menjadi kerajinan dapat menambah kreativitas dan inovasi baru untuk warga desa Kandangan.

Abstract

The issue of low academic achievement among students at MI Raudlatul Ulum Bojonegoro is influenced not only by cognitive factors but also by non-cognitive aspects such as difficulties in managing emotions, low self-confidence, and limited learning motivation. This study aims to analyze the role of emotional intelligence as a medium for improving students’ academic achievement, focusing on self-awareness, emotional regulation, and the development of positive social interactions. Employing a qualitative approach with a case study design, this research involved students, classroom teachers, and homeroom teachers as key informants. Data were collected through observations, in-depth interviews, and documentation, then analyzed using data reduction, data display, and conclusion drawing. The findings reveal that students with higher emotional intelligence are more capable of managing anxiety during learning activities, maintaining concentration, and developing intrinsic motivation, all of which significantly contribute to better academic performance. Additionally, students’ empathy and effective communication skills were found to foster cooperative behavior and create a more conducive classroom environment. Theoretically, this study reinforces the importance of emotional intelligence as a key determinant of learning success. Practically, it highlights the need for integrating emotional intelligence development into learning strategies through teacher guidance, positive behavioral habituation, and strengthening socio-emotional competencies to optimally support improvements in students’ academic achievement.

Abstract

This study aims to analyze the model of literacy habituation and clean living through the character education pillar program implemented at RA Fattahul Huda Pungpungan. Character education is an important aspect of early childhood education to shape attitudes, behavior, and positive values in students. This study uses a descriptive qualitative approach with data collection techniques through observation, interviews, and documentation. The results of the study show that the character education pillar program is implemented through two main activities, namely the literacy pillar and the clean living pillar. The literacy pillar includes activities such as reading storybooks and reading books in the reading corner, which can increase reading interest and help students understand moral values. Meanwhile, the clean living pillar includes activities such as queuing to wash hands and maintaining personal and environmental cleanliness. The activity is carried out routinely as a form of habituation in daily school activities. The implementation of this activity aligns with Thomas Lickona's character education theory, which includes moral knowing, moral feeling, and moral action. Through continuous habituation, students are able to develop an interest in reading, discipline, responsibility, as well as clean living habits.

Abstract

Academic reading comprehension is an essential competency in higher education because students are required to critically understand and evaluate academic texts. However, many university students still experience difficulties in comprehending academic materials due to limited reading strategies and low engagement. This study aimed to investigate the implementation of ChatGPT-assisted instruction and examine its contribution to enhancing students’ academic reading comprehension in higher education. This study employed a mixed-methods approach with a quasi-experimental design involving 60 undergraduate students divided into an experimental group and a control group. The intervention was conducted for eight weeks. The data were collected through reading comprehension tests, classroom observations, and semi-structured interviews and analyzed using quantitative statistical analysis and thematic analysis. The findings revealed that students who participated in AI-assisted instruction achieved significantly higher improvement in reading comprehension compared to those who received conventional instruction. The statistical analysis showed significant improvement in the experimental group (p = 0.001). The qualitative findings also indicated that AI-assisted instruction increased students’ engagement, motivation, and interaction during reading activities. The study concludes that AI-assisted instruction can serve as an effective pedagogical approach to support academic literacy development in higher education.
