Abstract

 Chronic Kidney Failure is a progressive and irreversible decline in kidney function. Hemodialysis is one of the therapies performed on chronic kidney failure sufferers. This study aims to determine the relationship between the length of time undergoing hemodialysis and the anxiety of Chronic Kidney Failure patients at Hospital X. The type of research used is analytical with a cross sectional approach. The sampling technique was accidental sampling with a total of 43 respondents using the Chi Square statistical test. The results of the research show that there is a significant relationship between the length of undergoing hemodialysis and anxiety in Chronic Kidney Failure patients at Hospital.Keywords: Chronic Renal Failure; Anxiety; Long time undergoing hemodialysis

Abstract

Type II diabetes mellitus is a condition where blood sugar in the body is not controlled due to impaired sensitivity of pancreatic ? cells to produce the hormone insulin. Elevated blood sugar levels or hyperglycemia is a condition in which excessive amounts of glucose circulate in the blood plasma.The diet for Type II Diabetes Mellitus sufferers is to help sufferers improve eating habits so that they can control blood glucose levels within normal limits as a result of hyperglycemia or increased blood sugar levels. Stress is one of the factors that influences blood sugar levels in DM sufferers. Psychological and physical stress has a negative impact on controlling diabetes because an increase in stress hormones will increase blood glucose levels, especially if food intake and insulin administration are uncontrolled. The aim of this study was to determine the relationship between diet and stress and increased blood sugar levels in type II diabetes mellitus patients. This research design uses a systematic review type. This systematic review aims to determine the relationship between diet and stress with increased blood sugar levels in type II diabetes mellitus patients. The method used uses a review of articles and nursing journals. The results of various articles and journals show that there is a significant relationship between diet and stress and increased blood sugar levels in type II diabetes mellitus patients. Diet and stress must be controlled more regularly, so that it can reduce blood sugar levels in patients with type II diabetes mellitus. So it is recommended to increase the patient's knowledge in implementing a correct diet and being able to control the patient's stress so that it can help successfully control blood sugar levels under normal circumstances.Keywords: Diet, Stress, Blood Sugar Levels, Type II Diabetes Mellitus

Abstract

The incidence of hypertension increases with age. Elderly people tend to experiencehypertension due to atherosclerosis and stiffness, decreased ability of cardiaccontractility, reduced elasticity of blood vessels, and lack of effectiveness of peripheralblood vessels for oxygenation. Adequate physical activity can help strengthen the heart.Food intake with high fat and sodium content can affect the high and low blood pressurein the body, causing hypertension. The purpose of this study was to determine therelationship of physical activity and eating patterns with the incidence of hypertension inthe elderly. This Systematic Review aims to determine the relationship of physical activityand eating patterns with the incidence of hypertension in the elderly. The method useduses Review articles and nursing journals. The results of various articles and journalsconducted show that there is a relationship between physical activity and eating patternswith the incidence of hypertension in the elderly. Lack of physical activity makes thebody's organs and blood and oxygen supply choked up thereby increasing bloodpressure. Unhealthy eating patterns, namely the habit of consuming food without regardto the type and ingredients, it can lead to obesity which results in narrowing of bloodvessels so that the heart muscle must be harder to pump blood so that leads to highblood pressure. Thus it can be concluded that there is a significant relationship betweenphysical activity and diet with the incidence of hypertension in the elderly. So it issuggested to be useful information for the community in maintaining health status byalways doing physical activities such as regular exercise and maintaining a healthy dietso that it can reduce the incidence of hypertension. Abstract

Hypertension is a non-communicable disease, often known as high blood pressure with the condition of blood vessels experiencing a systemic increase or in the long term above normal 140/90 mmHg. Lack of knowledge, lack of family support and the wrong diet can increase the risk of increasing hypertension in a person. This study aims to determine the relationship between knowledge, diet and family support with the incidence of hypertension in the elderly in Porto. The research design used was an analytical descriptive survey with a cross sectional approach. With the results of research conducted the number of samples in this study were 53 respondents studied. The results were tested using the chi-square test, it was found that there was a relationship between knowledge and the incidence of hypertension in the elderly with a p value = 0.000, there was a relationship between diet and the incidence of hypertension in the elderly with a p value = 0.002, and there was a relationship between family support and the incidence of hypertension in the elderly. elderly with p = 0.000. From this research, it is suggested to the elderly and their families in order to increase their knowledge related to hypertension and regulate a good diet and add support to the elderly.Keywords: Elderly, Knowledge, Diet, Family Support, Hypertension Incidence

Abstract

Stroke is a global epidemic problem that threatens life, health and quality of life. Stroke as a major problem for public health because it is the cause of a lot of pain, disability, and death. The study aims of this observation is to determine the risk factors for stroke in the Hutumuri Public Health Center year 2020. This observation uses quantitative research with a case control research design using a retrospective approach. The sample of this study were 64 people with a ratio of 1: 1 (32 cases and 32 controls). The results of this study found that the risk factors for stroke were hypertension (p = 0.00; OR = 8.52; 95% CI 2.15 - 33.78), diet (p = 0.77; OR = 2.82; 95% CI 1, 01-7.76), while Physical Activity (p = 1.00; OR = 0.80; 95% CI 0.21 - 2.95) was not proven as a significant risk factor for stroke. Hypertension and Dietary habit are Risk Factors for Stroke Occurrence at the Hutumuri Public Health Center year 2020. Abstract

Hospitalization is a process that requires the child to stay and be treated in the hospital due to planned and emergency reasons to do the therapy and treatment until their return to go home. Because of treatment in the hospital, especially for pediatric patients can have an impact both of physically and psychologically including anxiety. This study aims to determine the relationship of nurses 'knowledge and attitudes with nurse's skills in minimizing anxiety due to hospitalization of children at RSUD dr. M. Haulussy Ambon July 2019. The design used in this study was a descriptive analytic survey using a cross sectional approach. The sampling technique used in this study was total sampling with the sample size in this study was 34 respondents. Statistical test results using the chi-square test obtained p-value of knowledge with nurse skills of 0.002 (p 0.05) and p-value of attitude with nurses skills of 0.015 (p 0.05). In conclusion there is a significant relationship between knowledge and attitude with the skills of nurses in minimizing the anxiety because of the hospitalization for children at RSUD dr. M. Haulussy Ambon 2019. It is recommended for the nurses to be able to increase the knowledge about psychology of children to minimize the anxiety of children. The parents need to increase the knowledge about anxiety due to hospitalization in children so that it can help minimize the anxiety experienced by children during treatment in the hospital. For further researchers,they are able to see the anxiety of children due to hospitalization by adding several variables such as knowledge and family support.Keywords: hospitalization, anxiety, nurses, skills, knowledge, attitudes

Abstract

Gastritis is an acute, chronic diffuse or local inflammation of the gastric mucosa, with characteristics of anorexia, feeling full in the stomach (begah), discomfort in the epigastric, nausea, and vomiting. Based on data from the Word Health Organization (WHO, 2017), the incidence of gastritis in the world is about 1.8-2.1 million of the population each year, in the United Kingdom (22%), China (31%), Japan (14.5), Canada (35%), and France (29.5). In Southeast Asia about 586,635 of the population each year. Percentage of the incidence of gastritis in Indonesia  40.8% (WHO 2017). The incidence rate of gastritis in Indonesia is quite high with a prevalence of 274,396 cases. This research aims to find out the study of literature. relationship of diet with the incidence of gastritis. This type of research is descriptive using the Systematic Reviewmethod. The sample in the study totaled 4 national research journals related to the study title. The source of the database used is Google Scholar with reference to inclusion and exclusion criteria. Based article that have been analyzed, there is a neggine relationship between diet and stress with the incidence of gastritis.. It is recommended to people with gastritis to be able to control their diet, both time, type and portion of food so as not to trigger the occurrence of gastritis. Keywords: Gastritis, Diet

Abstract

Kesehatan mental merupakan aspek esensial dalam perkembangan pemuda, terutama di tengah dinamika sosial dan psikologis yang kompleks. Kegiatan sosialisasi ini dilaksanakan oleh Angkatan Muda GPM Petra Ranting Siloam sebagai upaya peningkatan literasi kesehatan mental melalui pendekatan edukatif dan partisipatif. Tujuan kegiatan adalah untuk meningkatkan pemahaman peserta terkait konsep kesehatan mental, faktor risiko, tanda gangguan, serta pendekatan penanganan berbasis bukti. Metode pelaksanaan mencakup pre-test, penyampaian materi melalui media PowerPoint interaktif, diskusi kelompok, serta simulasi teknik intervensi seperti deep breathing, healing touch, dan penggunaan holding cross. Evaluasi dilakukan melalui post-test untuk mengukur efektivitas kegiatan. Hasil pre-test menunjukkan hanya 5% peserta berada pada kategori pemahaman baik, sementara 95% lainnya kurang. Namun, setelah intervensi edukatif, terjadi peningkatan signifikan: 85% peserta mencapai kategori baik dan hanya 15% yang masih kurang. Hasil ini mencerminkan keberhasilan pendekatan pembelajaran berbasis konteks dan interaktif, serta mendukung teori Health Belief Model dan Self-Care Deficit dalam memahami perubahan perilaku kesehatan. Selain itu, penggunaan media visual PowerPoint dan keterlibatan aktif peserta memperlambat kurva lupa (forgetting curve), memperkuat retensi informasi, serta menumbuhkan kesadaran kolektif mengenai pentingnya kesehatan mental di kalangan pemuda gerejawi.

Abstract

Pelatihan pembuatan kuesioner penelitian merupakan salah satu upaya peningkatan kompetensi metodologis mahasiswa dalam penyusunan instrumen penelitian. Mahasiswa keperawatan sering mengalami kesulitan dalam menentukan variabel, indikator, dan butir pernyataan yang sesuai dengan teori penelitian. Kegiatan pengabdian ini bertujuan untuk meningkatkan pemahaman dan keterampilan mahasiswa semester lima Program Studi Keperawatan Universitas Kristen Indonesia Maluku dalam menyusun kuesioner penelitian yang valid dan reliabel. Pelatihan dilaksanakan pada tanggal 17 September 2025 di Ruang IKP 6 dengan dua sesi, yaitu Kelas A (65 mahasiswa) dan Kelas B (64 mahasiswa). Metode pelatihan meliputi ceramah interaktif, diskusi, dan praktik penyusunan kuesioner. Evaluasi dilakukan menggunakan pretest dan posttest untuk mengukur peningkatan pengetahuan. Hasil kegiatan menunjukkan peningkatan rata-rata nilai sebesar 32%, dengan Kelas A meningkat 33% dan Kelas B meningkat 31%. Pelatihan ini terbukti efektif meningkatkan kemampuan mahasiswa dalam mempersiapkan penulisan skripsi.
