Abstract

Several studies show the increase of radical attitudes among high school students in several regions in Indonesia. Developing a reliable instrument to measure religious moderation attitude is needed as a preventive effort to tackle this trend. However, a standard scale to measure the attitude in the context of Indonesia is extremely rare. This study aims to develop a Thusrtone scale of religious moderation attitude with the Equal Appearing Interval (EAI) method. There were 77 initial items constructed. Forty-two panelists from various relevant backgrounds were involved to assess the initial items. A number of 43 items was selected using the values of median (>6) and interquartile (≤4). The validity of the scale was tested using biserial correlation resulting 42 valid items and 1 invalid item. The result of reliability test using KR 20 technique showed that the scale is strongly reliable with a coefficient value of 0.98. The distribution of scale values on the 42 items of the selected statement lies on a scale value ranging from 1-11. Thus, the scale of religious moderation attitude has fulfilled the psychometric criteria as a measurement scale and can be used to measure students' religious moderation attitudes.Keywords: Thurstone scale, equal-appearing interval method, religious moderation. Abstrak: Beberapa hasil studi menunjukkan tingginya sikap radikal pada siswa Sekolah Menengah Atas (SMA) di beberapa daerah di Indonesia. Mempertimbangkan fenomena ini, diperlukan upaya preventif untuk mengatasi sikap radikal siswa. Salah satu upaya tersebut adalah dengan mengembangkan instrumen yang reliabel untuk mengukur sikap moderasi beragama. Pertimbangan mengembangkan skala ini dikarenakan belum tersedianya skala baku untuk mengukur sikap moderasi beragama siswa. Jenis skala yang dikembangkan adalah skala Thusrtone metode Equal Appearing Interval (EAI) Jumlah aitem awal pada skala ini disiapkan sebanyak 77 aitem. Panelis yang dilibatkan unuk menilai aitem awal sebanyak 42 orang. Analisis pemilihan aitem menggunakan nilai median dan interkuartil menghasilkan 43 aitem terpilih dengan nilai median >6 dan interkuartil ≤4. Pengujian validitas skala dengan  korelasi biserial menghasilkan 42 aitem valid dan 1 aitem tidak valid. Sedangkan uji reliabilitas menggunakan teknik KR 20 menghasilkan nilai koefesien 0.98 yang berarti sangat reliable. Distribusi nilai 42 aitem terpilih terentang dari 1-11. Skala sikap moderasi beragama ini terbukti memenuhi kriteria psikometrik sebagai skala pengukuran dan dapat digunakan untuk mengukur sikap moderasi beragama siswa.

Abstract

Current curriculum developments place greater emphasis on developing learning models and methods that can accommodate students' differences in learning styles and abilities. In the independent curriculum, this concept is better known as differentiated learning. One concept that can facilitate differentiated learning in the context of assessment is Universal Design for Learning (UDL). Using a Systematic Literature Review (SLR) approach, this research aims to analyze the effectiveness of implementing assessment models in PAI learning in the UDL context. The findings of this research indicate that the assessment model that is widely applied to PAI learning is the authentic assessment model. Based on educational level, this authentic assessment model is more widely applied at the junior secondary education level (SMP/MTs). Based on the results of the analysis of articles that met the inclusion criteria, no evidence was found regarding the effectiveness of its implementation which had an impact on PAI learning processes and outcomes. The findings of this research can be used as an empirical basis for conducting research that focuses on the influence of implementing assessment models on PAI learning processes and outcomes.

Abstract

This study aimed to determine the increase in knowledge and attitudes towards practicing the values of the Pancasila by Islamic spiritual community of State Vocational Schools in the City of Pangkalpinang through workshops. The approach in this study was quantitative with an experimental method. The design used pre-experimental design one group pre-test post-test. The mean score of knowledge of Pancasila values was 69.70 in the pre-test and 75.3 in the post-test, there was an increase in students’ knowledge after attending the workshop which descriptively increased by 8%. The average score of students’ attitudes toward practicing Pancasila values in the pre-test was 3.81 and the post-test was 4.00, there was a significant increase in the attitude scores of students towards the practice of Pancasila values after attending workshops which descriptively increased by 3%. The students’ knowledge and attitudes towards practicing the values of Pancasila increased through workshop.

Abstract

The low level of community participation in developing tourist villages in Penyak Village is an important issue in the community service program organized by the IAIN SAS Bangka Belitung Student KKN group. Based on the problem analysis, the service program focuses on the following things; 1) socialization of tourism-aware villages, 2) making tourism-aware village posters, 3) English language tutoring, and 4) strengthening tourism-aware village groups (Pok-Darwis). The method used in the Tourism-Aware Village Movement program in Penyak Village is implemented through three methods, namely, socialization methods, Focus Group Discussion (FGD), and community education methods. Data collection techniques in this service use observation, interviews, questionnaires, documentation and FGD techniques. The impact of this service program shows that increasing community participation in tourism development in Penyak Village will not run optimally if it is not supported by the Village government and regional government. Weak local government support is one of the factors causing low public awareness of the tourism potential of their village. Rendahnya partisipasi masyarakat dalam pengembangan desa wisata di Desa Penyak menjadi isu penting dalam program pengabdian masyarakat yang diselenggarakan oleh kelompok KKN Mahasiswa IAIN SAS Bangka Belitung. Berdasarkan analisis masalah maka program pengabdian fokus pada beberapa hal berikut; 1) sosialisasi desa sadar wisata, 2) pembuatan poster desa sadar wisata, 3) bimbingan belajar bahasa Inggris, dan 4) penguatan kelompok desa sadar wisata (Pok-Darwis) Metode yang digunakan dalam program Gerakan Desa Sadar Wisata di Desa Penyak dilaksanakan melalui tiga metode yaitu, metode sosialisasi, Focus Group Discussion (FGD), dan metode pendidikan masyarakat. Teknik pengumpulan data dalam pengabdian ini menggunakan teknik observasi, wawancara, angket, dokumentasi, dan FGD. Dampak program pengabdian ini menunjukkan bahwa, untuk meningkatkan partisipasi masyarakat terhadap pengembangan wisata di Desa Penyak tidak akan berjalan optimal jika tidak didukung oleh pemerintah Desa maupun pemerintah daerah. Lemahnya dukungan pemerintah daerah menjadi salah satu faktor penyebab rendahnya kesadaran masyarakat akan potensi wisata desanya.

Abstract

This study explores the implementation of andragogical principles in higher education, with a focus on the context of STAIN SAS Bangka Belitung. Andragogy, as a learner-centered approach, emphasizes the unique needs of adult learners, including self-directed learning, the integration of prior experiences, and the relevance of education to real-world applications. Through a mixed-methods approach, this research evaluates the effectiveness of a professional development program designed to enhance lecturers' understanding and application of andragogical principles. Data were collected through pre- and post-training assessments, student evaluations, and interviews with lecturers. The findings reveal a significant improvement in lecturers' knowledge of andragogy, with post-test scores increasing by 23.9% compared to pre-test results. Student evaluations further indicated that lecturers effectively applied andragogical principles, particularly in understanding learners' self-concept and fostering a learner-centered environment. However, challenges were identified in integrating students' prior experiences and aligning course content with andragogical principles. Barriers such as insufficient lecturer innovation, inadequate learning facilities, and students' pragmatic orientations were also noted. Conversely, enablers such as institutional support, training opportunities, and student motivation facilitated the successful adoption of andragogical practices. The study underscores the importance of continuous professional development and institutional support in promoting andragogical approaches in higher education. Recommendations include revising curricula to better reflect andragogical principles, investing in modern learning facilities, and fostering a culture of innovation among lecturers. Future research should explore the long-term impact of andragogical training on teaching practices and student outcomes, as well as the role of institutional policies in sustaining these practices. By addressing these challenges and leveraging existing enablers, institutions like STAIN SAS Bangka Belitung can create more effective and engaging learning environments for adult learners, ultimately enhancing the quality of higher education.

Abstract

This research was conducted to find out how the construction carried out by community participants of Artificial Intelligence (AI)-based Learning Media Training on the pintar.kemenag.go.id application or website facilitated by Badan Litbang dan Diklat Kementerian Agama RI as a virtual training medium. Using the netnography method, researchers try to reveal and analyze the way community participants present the "digital-self". Netnography describes how experience and learning are carried out virtually through the "repetition of experience" that occurs among members/participants in online communities. The AI-based Learning Media Training is constructed as a free and flexible community virtual training. This virtual training is designed to help the general public who are highly motivated to join the training. Training without physical contact and new media influence the construction of a virtual training. The construction can be seen through 3 aspects, namely: internalization, objectivation, and externalization. This research can be concluded to be very liked and considered very helpful in contemporary and useful training, analyzed from the number of comments and reviews of 4,503 and likes through the 4.9 stars icon with details of the number of 5 stars = 4,221; 4 stars = 244; 3 stars = 24; 2 stars = 2; and 1 star = 12 given by participants to the information or material published. The overall score for this training is 94% which is categorized as excellent.
