Abstract

This study discusses leadership practices at the Pondok Pesantren Darussalam Sumbersari Kencong, Kepung Kediri. This study uses a qualitative method with a phenomenological approach based on the phenomenon of the rise of adults returning to learning to read the Qur'an. Data mining techniques used interviews with Islamic boarding school caregivers and several administrators. As reinforcement, the researchers conducted documentation and field observations. The results indicate that the leadership of the Darussalam Islamic Boarding School Sumbersari Kencong Kepung Kediri has a relatively high intensity of attention to people and tends to be oriented towards superior-subordinate relationships. The culture at Darussalam Islamic Boarding School Sumbersari Kencong Kepung Kediri prioritizes taste responsibility. It does not prioritize results as long as it is a blessing so that employees are more ta'dim.

Abstract

This article discusses the contribution of women to the renewal of the social system during the time of the Prophet Muhammad using Anthony Giddens' perspective. The main objective of this article is to analyze the active role of women in the social changes that occurred at that time, as well as to describe how their contributions shaped social transformation in Arab society at the time of Prophet Muhammad. The research method used is literature analysis by collecting and examining various relevant textual sources, including the Quran, Hadith, and Anthony Giddens' works on social change. This approach enabled us to gain a comprehensive understanding of the role of women in specific social and historical contexts. The results of the analysis show that women played a significant role in the process of social renewal during Prophet Muhammad. They were not only involved in religious struggles, but also contributed to various areas of life, including politics, economics, and education. Women also play an important role in supporting changes in social norms, including gender equality and the protection of women's rights. Anthony Giddens' perspective in this analysis provides a broader understanding of the role of women in social change. Concepts such as agency, social structure, and reflective action help explain how women contribute to shaping and changing the existing social systems. This study makes an important contribution to the understanding of the role of women in social history and development. Understanding the contribution of women in reforming the social system during the time of Prophet Muhammad can provide inspiration and insight for inclusive and equitable social development efforts.

Abstract

The main purpose of education in Indonesia is to shape the character of students. This is in accordance with the 2013 Curriculum which is based on strengthening character education and the Independent Learning Curriculum based on the Pancasila Student Profile. Based on this, in every educational institution, teachers certainly try to instill character values in students. The cultivation of character to students can be done through intracurricular and extracurricular activities. In addition, the cultivation of culture or good habits among students can also be done through the design of an appropriate learning environment. One way that can be done is by sticking posters on the walls of the classroom. For this reason, this study aims to describe the cultivation of character values through visual poster media at MI Sunan Ampel Wonorejo Pagu Kediri. The research method used is a qualitative descriptive method with a text analysis approach, because the data is sourced from the interpretation of posters posted in the MI Sunan Ampel classroom. Data is collected by documenting posters through photos which are then identified and classified based on the type of sentence content present on the poster. Data validation was carried out by interviewing the madrasah. The number of documented posters is 13. After the data is classified it is then deciphered until conclusions can be drawn. The results showed that visual poster media can be used as a medium to instill the character values of love of science, care for the environment, and love of the homeland, enthusiasm for learning, discipline, and noble character. Poster media is made using Indonesian that are easily understood by students. The content of the sentences in the poster is in the form of motivational sentences, invitations, reminders, commands [Tujuan utama dari pendidikan yang ada di Indonesia adalah untuk membentuk karakter peserta didik. Hal tersebut sesuai dengan Kurikulum 2013 yang berbasis penguatan pendidikan karakter dan Kurikulum Merdeka Belajar yang berbasis Profil Pelajar Pancasila. Berdasarkan hal tersebut di setiap Lembaga Pendidikan para guru tentu berusaha untuk menanamkan nilai-nilai karakter kepada para peserta didik. Penanaman karakter kepada peserta didik dapat dilakukan melalui kegiatan intrakurikuler maupun ekstrakurikuler. Selain itu penanaman budaya atau kebiasaan baik di kalangan peserta didik juga dapat dilakukan melalui desain lingkungan belajar yang sesuai. Salah satu cara yang dapat dilakukan adalah dengan menempel poster di dinding ruangan kelas. Untuk itu penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mendeskripsikan penanaman nilai karakter melalui media visual poster di MI Sunan Ampel Wonorejo Pagu Kediri. Metode penelitian yang digunakan yaitu metode deskriptif kualitatif dengan pendekatan analisis teks, karena data bersumber dari interpretasi terhadap poster yang dipasang di ruang kelas MI Sunan Ampel. Data dikumpulkan dengan mendokumentasikan poster melalui foto yang kemudian diidentifikasi dan diklasifikasi berdasarkan jenis isi kalimat yang ada di poster. Validasi data dilakukan dengan wawancara terhadap pihak madrasah. Jumlah poster yang didokumentasikan sebanyak 13 buah. Setelah data diklasifikasikan kemudian diuraikan hingga dapat ditarik kesimpulan. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa media visual poster dapat digunakan sebagai media untuk menanamkan nilai karakter cinta ilmu pengetahuan, peduli lingkungan, cinta tanah air, semangat belajar, disiplin, berakhlak mulia. Media poster dibuat dengan menggunakan Bahasa Indonesia yang mudah difahami oleh peserta didik. Isi kalimat dalam poster berupa kalimat motivasi, ajakan, pengingat, perintah]

Abstract

Tanpa kita sadari, seseorang anggota masyarakat sering merasa bahwa sangat kecil kemungkinan untuk menjadi seorang pemimpin. Sejumlah orang sering membayangkan bagaimana sulitnya mencapai posisi puncak di berbagai lembaga masyarakat. Perasaan ini merendahkan diri sendiri, karena memosisikan diri pada bidang yang remeh.  Sebagian terbesar dari keadaan semacam ini biasanya dihasilkan oleh rongrongan perasaan rendah diri. Celakanya, keadaan ini diperparah oleh sejumlah mitos yang hidup di masyarakat yang jika tidak hati-hati menyikapinya justru akan merusak potensi yang dimiliki. Tulisan ini saya buat berdasarkan pengamatan fenomenologis atas sejumlah konteks yang berkaitan dengan ihwal kepemimpinan dalam bingkai bekerjanya suasana psikologis di masyarakat Kota Kediri. Dengan bekal metode konstruksi sosial Bergerian, potret realitas sosial akhirnya menjadi bahan menarik untuk memahami pemahaman masyarakat tentang keberadaan seorang pemimpin. Kentalnya pemahaman kepemimpinan yang mengarah pada situasi yang nyaris menjadi pengkultusan diri jadilah seorang pemimpin diliputi berbagai cerita berdasar sejumlah mitos. Abstract

This article discusses the shift in religious patterns that occurred in the Muslim community of Kampung Inggris Pare. Kampung Inggris Pare is located in the Pare Sub-district, Kediri District, East Java, Indonesia, and is known as an English language education center that is visited by people from various regions. Initially, the Muslim community in the English Village Pare had a strong religious pattern and was closely related to Islamic traditions. They regularly follow religious practices, such as praying, fasting, and attending knowledge assemblies. In addition, they have established close social ties with local scholars and religious leaders. However, in recent years, there has been a shift in religious patterns among the Muslim community in the Kampung Inggris Pare. This study aims to analyze the factors that influence the shift in Islamic religious patterns in the community of Kampung Inggris Pare. To achieve this goal, the researcher used a qualitative approach that involved several research methods, including in-depth interviews, participant observation, and document analysis.  This qualitative approach allows researchers to gain a deeper understanding of the changes that occur and the dynamics behind this shift in religious patterns. This research found that the rapid development of English language education and foreign culture has had a significant impact on the pattern of religiosity. People have begun to experience changes in their religious priorities and focuses. Economic development and increased social mobility also played important roles in this change. People who were previously more focused on religious education and activities are now more oriented towards finding better jobs and economic opportunities. Religious priorities tend to shift towards material success and modern lifestyles. This shift in religious patterns not only affects religious practices but also the social structure and values upheld by the Muslim community in Kampung Inggris Pare.

Abstract

Culture is a way oìf life that develoìps and becoìmes a habit shared by a groìup oìf peoìple and is passed doìwn toì generatioìns. By implementing the values ​​oìf multicultural, the Queen Al-Falah Ploìsoì Moìjoì Kediri Islamic Boìarding Schoìoìl instills a persoìnality that uphoìlds the values ​​oìf unity and oìneness toìwards the differences that exist within the Islamic Boìarding Schoìoìl.Based oìn this backgroìund, the researcher asked research questioìns: (1) Hoìw are the values ​​oìf multicultural applied in the soìcial interactioìns oìf students whoì have differences in a number oìf ethnic criteria? (2) What are the multicultural value activities at the Queen Al-Falah Ploìsoì Moìjoì Kediri Islamic Boìarding Schoìoìl?This is a qualitative research with a type oìf field research which is descriptive analysis in nature. Data coìllectioìn techniques is using interviews, oìbservatioìn, and doìcumentatioìn. Data analysis proìcess uses a floìw moìdel which includes: data reductioìn, data presentatioìn, and coìnclusioìn drawing.This research proìduced research findings in the foìrm oìf: (1) the applicatioìn oìf multicultural values ​​by boìarding schoìoìl administratoìrs doìes noìt prioìritize culture and language in the boìarding schoìoìl and makes it a place with oìther cultures and languages. ​​(2) Implementatioìn oìf multicultural values ​​in the Queen Al-Falah Ploìsoì Islamic Boìarding Schoìoìl, such as students' freedoìm oìf oìpinioìn, mutual coìoìperatioìn in cleaning the Islamic Boìarding Schoìoìl, proìviding directioìn toì students by roìoìm advisoìrs and discussioìn activities in the Islamic Boìarding Schoìoìl Hall.

Abstract

Kyai merupakan pemimpin di pondok pesantren yang mempunyai peran sangat penting dan sangat strategis dalam mewujudkan suatu tujuan, mengingat posisinya yang secara struktural sebagai pimpinan legal memiliki kekuasaan penuh pada lembaga yang dipimpinnya. Kyai merupakan pimpinan tertinggi dalam lembaga pendidikan di pondok pesantren. Gaya kepemimpinan Kyai sangatlah mempengaruhi terwujudnya madrasah yang memenghasilkan manusia – manusia yang bertakwa, berbudi pekerti luhur, dan manusia yang multi tailen. Atas dasar itu, penelitian ini difokuskan pada gaya Kepemimpinan Pondok Pesantren Al-Huda Bonggah Ploso Nganjuk. Penelitian ini bertujuan (1) Mendeskripsikan Kecenderungan orientasi Prilaku Kepemimpinan Pondok Pesantren Al-Huda Bonggah Desa Ploso Kecamatan Nganjuk Kabupaten Nganjuk. (2) Mendeskripsikan Gaya Kepemimpinan Pondok Pesantren Al-Huda Bonggah Desa Ploso Kecamatan Nganjuk Kabupaten Nganjuk. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa : (1) Prilaku Kepemimpinan Pondok Pesantren Al-Huda Bonggah kecenderungan yang tinggi orientasinya pada pembinaan kekompakan kelompok sekaligus pada pencapaian tujuan (2) Gaya kepemimpinan yang diterapkan oleh Pimpinan Pondok Pesantren Al-Huda adalah Demokrasi.

Abstract

The Head of Madrasa in the Education Unit is a leader. He has two positions: formal leader and school manager. In carrying out their duties, each madrasa head uses different strategies and methods according to his character, known as the leadership style. This research is a type of qualitative research with a descriptive-analytical approach. The sampling technique used is purposive sampling. So the source of data in this study is the headmaster of madrasas, educators, education staff, students, and documents related to the leadership style of the headmaster. The data collection techniques that researchers use in this thesis are observation, interviews and documentation. Data analysis techniques used are data collection, data reduction, data presentation and drawing conclusions. Indications for obtaining maximum results are observations about madrasah head decision making, madrasah head interaction models, madrasah head motivation, orientation/leadership behaviour of madrasas. The results show that, First, the leadership style of the head of MTs Negeri 6 Kediri is situational or combines democratic, authoritarian, laissez-faire but more dominant democracy. Secondly, this madrasa has indeed achieved many achievements at the district, provincial and national levels.
