Abstract

One of the mathematical skills that students must master is the ability to reason mathematically. However, in reality, this skill has not yet been fully mastered by students. This study is a classroom action research conducted over two cycles at SMA Negeri 11 Semarang. The subjects of the study were students from class XII D-1. The purpose of this study are to describe the process of implementing mathematics learning through the Problem Based Learning (PBL) model assisted by GeoGebra as an effort to improve students' mathematical reasoning abilities and learning engagement in class XII D-1 on the topic of ellipses at SMA Negeri 11 Semarang, to determine the improvement in students' mathematical problem-solving abilities in class XII D-1 on the topic of ellipses after mathematics learning through the Problem Based Learning model assisted by GeoGebra, and to determine the improvement in students' learning engagement in class XII D-1 on the topic of ellipses at SMA Negeri 11 Semarang after the implementation of mathematics learning through the Problem Based Learning model assisted by GeoGebra. The results of the study indicate an improvement in students' mathematical reasoning abilities and learning engagement

Abstract

This research is motivated by the results of the pre-cycle in class XI-2 of SMA Negeri 11 Semarang which showed that mathematical representation ability was relatively low with average mathematical representation ability test score of 45 with classical completion percentage of 19% and self-confidence level in moderate category of 49.75%. The purpose of this study was to describe the implementation of PBL assisted by quizizz to improve mathematical representation ability and self-confidence of class XI-2 students of SMA Negeri 11 Semarang in the 2024/2025 academic year. This research is classroom action research with three-cycle design that includes the planning, action implementation, observation, and reflection stages. The indicator of the success of this research is percentage of classical completion of mathematical representation ability test results is 80% reaching KKM 70 and average self-confidence is at least at 75% or very high. The results of this study are the percentage of pre-cycle completion is 19% increasing in cycle I to 55.6%, in cycle II to 69.4%, and in cycle III to 80.6%. While the percentage of pre-cycle self-confidence questionnaire data is 49.7%, in cycle I to 69.14%, in cycle II to 73.53%, and finally reaching 78.08% in cycle III with very high self-confidence category. It can be concluded that implementation of PBL assisted by quizizz can improve the mathematical representation ability and self-confidence of class XI-2 students of SMA Negeri 11 Semarang.

Abstract

Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengidentifikasi dan menganalisis tren penelitian terkait integrasi budaya lokal dan warisan budaya dalam pembelajaran matematika, khususnya pada materi aritmatika sosial. Metode yang digunakan adalah Systematic Literature Review (SLR) terhadap 21 artikel yang diperoleh melalui Google Scholar dengan kriteria inklusi mencakup tahun publikasi 2019–2025, kesesuaian topik, dan keterjangkauan bahasa Indonesia atau Inggris. Hasil kajian menunjukkan bahwa penggunaan unsur budaya lokal seperti pasar tradisional, makanan khas daerah, permainan tradisional, serta kerajinan tangan, dapat menjadi sarana kontekstual yang efektif dalam menyampaikan konsep-konsep aritmatika sosial, seperti operasi hitung dasar, diskon, laba-rugi, dan perbandingan. Pendekatan ini terbukti meningkatkan pemahaman siswa, keterlibatan aktif dalam pembelajaran, serta menumbuhkan penghargaan terhadap nilai-nilai budaya. Sebagian besar penelitian dalam kajian ini menggunakan pendekatan etnomatematika, yang menunjukkan bahwa integrasi budaya mampu menjembatani kesenjangan antara konsep abstrak matematika dan pengalaman nyata siswa. Temuan ini memberikan implikasi penting bagi pengembangan kurikulum dan strategi pembelajaran yang kontekstual, adaptif terhadap lingkungan siswa, serta berakar pada kearifan lokal, selaras dengan semangat Kurikulum Merdeka.

Abstract

This study was conducted to determine the effect of the Teams Games Tournament model on conceptual understanding. The purpose of this study was to determine the effect of the Teams Games Tournament learning model on conceptual understanding. This study uses the systematic literature review (SLR) method, employing a review procedure focused on selected reporting items for systematic review. The method involves reviewing various journal articles on Google Scholar from 2019 to 2025, using the keywords “Teams Games Tournament learning model” and “conceptual understanding ability.” A total of 985 articles were identified, with 26 main articles selected for use. The review process consisted of three stages: Planning, Conducting, and Reporting. The results of this study indicate that the Teams Games Tournament learning model has an impact on conceptual understanding ability. These findings suggest that the Teams Games Tournament learning model is effective in enhancing students' conceptual understanding ability. It is hoped that future researchers will not limit their focus to Google Scholar alone.

Abstract

Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengembangkan e-modul berbasis inquiry nuansa komik etnomatematika materi transformasi geometri guna meningkatkan kemampuan pemecahan masalah matematis siswa. Jenis penelitian yang digunakan adalah Research and Development (R&D) dengan model pengembangan ADDIE yang dibatasi pada tahap analisis, perencanaan, dan pengembangan. Instrumen pengumpulan databerupa angket validasi yang diberikan kepada tiga ahli media dan tiga ahli materi. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa e-modul yang dikembangkan memperoleh skor rata-rata 88,43% dengan kriteria “Sangat Valid”, terdiri dari validasi ahli media sebesar 86,23% dan validasi ahli materi sebesar 90,63%. E-modul ini dilengkapi dengan komik etnomatematika budaya lokal serta pembelejaran berbasis inquiry yang mendorong keterlibatan aktif siswa dalam memahami materi. Penelitian ini menunjukkan bahwa e-modul yang kembangkan layak digunakan sebagai media pembelajaran inovatif dan relevan yang berpotensi meningkatkan pemahaman serta kemampuan pemecahan masalah siswa
