<![CDATA[Community service in cabangbungin district, the village of jayabakti, the village of two village asem to reduce the use of pesticides that will cause stunting by the use of a natural biopesticide. It concerns the people of jayabakti whose main job is farmer with an 87% percentage. Farmersotend to continue to use dangerous chemicalopesticides to eradicatopests, so the production of a biopestier is an answer to reducing the use of dangerous chemical pesticides in view of the effects of the useoof chemicalopesticides that are harmful to both human and environmental health. Based on these issues, we had an idea to provide solutions through socialization and practice. Based on the activity of "the use of natural materials for pesticide reduction in support of stunting prevention" it can conclude that the results of this community's devoted activity have a positive impact, with those who present in the quest for knowledge and information on natural materials being used asa biopestimatic weathering against the plants. A partial distribution of biopestiles to the plant and a filling out questionnaire, whichomeans that the purposeoof this activity is to divertothe use of the pesticide to a successful extent.]]>

<![CDATA[The development of communication and information technology is not only changing the economic, social, political, and cultural practices, but it is also changing the religious practices, including for da’wah activities called as E-da’wah (Electronic da’wah). This study attempts to investigate the construction of da’wah message used by Ustadz Felix Y. Siaw dan Ustadz Yusuf Mansur in his facebook fanpage. Using Pan and Kosicki’s framing analysis and in doing so utilizing in-depth-interview in collecting the data, this research has revealed that the most da’wah messages shared on both ustadz’s facebook fanpages are carefully constructed to encourage religious discussion amongst followers, and to increase their critical thinking and their piety.]]>

<![CDATA[This community service activity focuses on training PKK mothers in Cikarageman Village on processing healthy and nutritious food using pakcoy (Brassica rapa subsp. chinensis). Pakcoy is widely cultivated in the area and is rich in essential nutrients such as vitamins A, C, and K, as well as minerals like calcium and iron. Despite its nutritional value, its utilization as a primary food ingredient remains limited among local communities. This training aims to enhance participants' knowledge and skills in processing pakcoy into various food products, increasing both its household consumption and economic potential. The training employs a combination of theoretical lectures, demonstrations, and hands-on practice. Participants learn about the health benefits of pakcoy and how to transform it into diverse, appealing food products such as pakcoy juice and other nutritious meals, personal health benefits, this initiative has economic implications.]]>

<![CDATA[This study focuses on individuals with visual disabilities who struggle to accept themselves due to their physical limitations. This study examines self-acceptance and social interaction of people with visual disability in the context of interpersonal communication. This study aims to find out how their social interactions with the surrounding environment support this process. Through a descriptive qualitative approach. This study interviewed four informants with low vision and total blindness, as well as three key informants who work as social workers. The interviews were recorded, transcribed, and coded. The results of this study are that the five aspects of interpersonal communication, ranging from openness, empathy, supportive attitudes, positive attitudes, to equality, have an important role in the process of self-acceptance of blind people with disabilities. This study can be used as the development of communication science, especially in the field of interpersonal communication in the process of self-acceptance of people with visual disability.]]>

<![CDATA[Bekasi regency, West Java, grew into the International Economic Zone (ZONI). The rapid pace of industry put Bekasi district as one of the largest industrial area in Southeast Asia. But about 25 percent of the total indigenous population in Bekasi still live in poverty. This is in contrast occurs between the native people living in an industrial area. The difference is what often led to conflict between the two communities.In connection with the above-mentioned problems, this study aims to (1) determine how the role of corporate communications (corporate communication) conducted in the industrial park development company with local communities to keep the conflict from getting stronger. (2) To analyze the pattern or model of communication by the company to maintain the social order remains conducive.This study was conducted on two industrial zones in Bekasi, PT Jababeka, and PT Lippo Cikarang. Both companies were selected as research subjects because during active communication with the local communities that surround industrial area.The results showed that both regional development company, PT Lippo Cikarang Tbk and PT Jababeka Tbk is still trying to establish a harmonious relationship with the surrounding community through a number of CSR programs. However, the activities carried out still largely charity, or have not been sustained. Yet local communities around the industrial area of sustainable want help to improve their lives]]>

<![CDATA[SMP Amal Mulia is a private junior high school standing in the Klapanuggal in 1999. The school is located in the residential neighborhood residents sunda, many students SMP amal mulia are used to communicating with sundanese therefore Indonesian teacher uses instructional communication strategies to increase students' language skills SMP Amal Mulia. This study reviews Instructional Communication Strategy with Student Teachers in SMP Amal Mulia in Klapanunggal Bogor. The purpose of this study was to analyze the instructional communication strategies used by Indonesian languange teacher to improve students' language skills SMP. Besides analyzing instructional communication strategy, the authors also analyzes the process of message processing, the use of message communication, the use of instructional media and communication techniques and tactics used by Indonesian teacher. This research method is descriptive qualitative, the author explores instructional communication strategies used by Indonesian teacher. Information obtained through observation and depth interviews with key informants and informants. The results of this study illustrate that the instructional communication strategies used by Indonesian teacher is the gift of communication strategies (rewarding) and punishment (punishing). The processing of messages that are used to support the communication is processing messages expressive, conventional, and rhetorical. Media is often used instructional tapes, videos, and training in the language lab. Instructional communication method used is the method of lecture, discussion and question and answer. Techniques and tactics used are small grouping technique and tactical use of communications with elements of humor. This strategy is used because it has received greater attention than other instructional communication strategy]]>

<![CDATA[Though it was introduced more than fifty years ago at the era of cold war, the term propaganda is still relevant to be discussed and studied further. The purpose of propaganda is still the same – to make the audience or mass receive all kinds of information produced by propagandist without any doubts and hestitations. The practice of propaganda nowadays is not restricted in the war domain but also in any social domains. This study tries to find out how the media use editorial page as a mean of propaganda and what kind of propaganda strategies used. With social semantic approach, it is revealed that the propaganda in media are conduceted in three ways; by creating a field of discourse that oppose the goverment and label it negatively; by involving high-rank tenor of discourse such as the Ministers and Secretary Generals; by applying hiperbolic, rhetoric and ironic mode of discourse to support the field and tenor of discourse. The propaganda strategies used are mostly name calling, glittering generality, bandwagon, and testimonial.]]>

<![CDATA[Movie is considered as the reflection of reality. Thus, movie is often used as the propaganda tool by some countries, especially America. Through movie, America tries to spread its power and ideology to other countries. This research aims to (1) describe and identifies meanings made by students after watching American heroic movies; (2) find out meanings produced by students toward American he-roic movies. Result shows that students have same perception and meanings to-ward American heroic movies that is they managed to represent America’s hero-ism as the saviour of mankind.]]>

<![CDATA[Penelitian ini menunjukkan bagaimana perjuangan karakter penderita anorexiadigambarkan dalam Film To The Bone. Penelitian ini menganalisis struktur naratifperjuangan karakter penderita Anorexia yang terdapat dalam film To The Bone denganmenggunakan analisis naratif teori Algirdas Greimas.Analisis dilakukan denganmenarasikan dialog karakter penderita Anorexia dalam film To The Bone laludiidentifikasi ke model aktansial untuk mengetahui masing-masing peran karakternyadan ke model fungsional untuk mengetahui bagaimana alur ceritanya. Metode yangdigunakan dalam penelitian ini adalah kualitatif dengan metode analisis strukturalnaratif secara deskriptif.Subjek penelitian ini adalah narasi film To The Bone. Objek penelitian ini adalah narasi perjuangan karakter penderita Anorexia dalam film To The Bone. Tokoh-tokoh yang dianalisis adalah Ellen, ibu tiri Ellen, ibu kandung, saudari tiri,dokter, dan teman-teman asrama Ellen.Selain itu juga ada karakter Ayah Ellen yangtidak ditampilkan secara langsung tetapi melalui penggambaran karakternya saja.Hasilpenelitian ini menunjukkan alasan penyebab karakter Ellen mengidap penyakitAnorexia yang berbeda dengan kecenderungan media massa menggambarkan karakterAnorexia pada umumnya. Narasi dalam film ini menggunakan alur cerita majusehingga dengan mudah terlihat narasi perjuangan karakter penderita Anorexia yangmayoritas mengisi fungsi subjek aktan.]]>
