Abstract

In 2020 WHO gave the status that Corona Virus Disease -19 (COVID-19) became a Global Pandemic. Health workers who handle cases of COVID-19 are responsible for protecting themselves and others to break the chain of spread of COVID-19. One of the medical personnel involved in handling COVID-19 is a radiographer. The role of radiographers in handling COVID-19 in hospitals needs to be socialized more, considering its very important role in evaluating patient health and requiring radiographers to have direct contact with positive patients. For radiographers, the source of danger at work is not only COVID-19, but ionizing radiation is also a source of danger that must also be taken into account. The public must also be aware of the risks and challenges faced by radiographers in their work during this pandemic. The method used in this community service is by presentation or extension or education. This Community Service is carried out to introduce the role of radiographers in hospitals when there are patients with COVID-19 cases, so that these health workers can be more recognized by the general public. The target audience for this community service is SMA (High School) students with the aim of cultivating an interest in the younger generation to become radiographic health workers. As a result of this community service, participants were given knowledge about radiology, starting from workers (radiographers), the tools used to their role in the health world. The results of participants' understanding of Community Service activities, all participants understood the role of radiographers in treating COVID-19 patients in hospitals and 91% of participants understood what a radiographer was, and as many as 64% of participants were interested in becoming radiographers, and the remaining 36% of participants were not interested. be a radiographer. Community service activities regarding the role of radiographers in hospitals have been carried out well. Participants become more familiar with the duties of workers in the radiation field.

Abstract

Referral system for health services is the implementation of services health which regulates the delegation of duties and responsibilities of services health reciprocally both vertically and horizontally. Referral system mandatory for patients who are insurance participants health or social health insurance and health care providers. In this article, the author describes community service activities that have been carried out to increase public understanding of the health service referral system . Community service activities carried out in the area Kulim, Kulim District of using the method of lecture, discussion and question and answer. As for the results of this community activity, the community has been able to understand the referral system for health services. This activity can also Increase public awareness of the enthusiastic or health checks as well as the right to Increase public awareness of healthy living

Abstract

The use of smartphones or so-called gadgets is currently increasing greatly among students. The development of information and communication technology has been accelerating so that without realizing it, it has affected every aspect of human life. The use of gadgets among today's students and students is a must to have. The use of the wrong gadget will have an impact on eye health which can cause eye health problems due to the radiation rays exposed by the gadget. This Community Service began with conducting interviews with 49 students of SMA Negeri 6 Pekanbaru, which was followed by delivering material about the dangers of smartphones to eye health. Based on the data, 12 students experienced Minus and 37 students had normal eyes. The data collection carried out on students obtained the result that students who have normal eyes are still able to manage the time to use a smartphone, while there are some students who already have minus eyes unable to manage the time to use a smartphone. The activity took place smoothly where students were advised to reduce smartphone use because it can be harmful to eye health.

Abstract

Pekanbaru City is the most populous city in Riau province which has 31 hospitals that provide various services. The distribution of hospitals affects the distribution of services, especially polyclinics. This can indirectly affect the degree of public health. This community service aims to introduce a prototype in the form of an Android-based application that helps people find hospitals in Pekanbaru City that provide the services needed. This Hospital Service Search Application in Pekanbaru City makes it easier and faster for people to find the health services they need. The Community Service carried out begins with the design of the Health Service Search Application in Pekanbaru City. The next activity is to conduct a function test and feasibility test on the Android application. The results of the function test and feasibility test are considered quite good with a value of 100% functioning and 87,5% said to be feasible. Workshop activities were carried out on several occasions, namely for high school students, the general public, students, and patients in hospitals. The results of this workshop activity generated very high interest from the community. Activity evaluation was carried out by distributing questionnaires where 83% of respondents considered this application to be very much needed by the community, while the rest stated that it was not needed. Based on the application concept, 70% of respondents stated that the application was good, 25% of respondents stated that this application needed to be improved and 5% of respondents stated that this application was not good. This Hospital Health Service Search Application is based on Android and this Application can be upgraded to be registered on services that can be accessed by the entire community for free.

Abstract

Obesity is still a very serious problem in Indonesia, one of which is in children's lives, many children experience limited movement, inhibiting physical motor development so that physical motor development in children will be disrupted. Improper eating patterns are one of the main factors that cause nutritional problems in children. By looking at the facts that are happening now, many Indonesian people prefer fast food or fast food and foods and drinks that contain high amounts of processed sugar. Therefore, the author conducted outreach and distributed posters to prevent obesity in teenagers at the Tahfidz Islamic Center Siak Science High School. The aim of this community service is to increase teenagers' knowledge about obesity prevention and increase knowledge of the dangers of obesity. This community service activity was carried out in the Tahfidz Islamic Center Siak Science High School classes. The results of this counseling or outreach can increase knowledge for young students at the Tahfidz Islamic Center Siak Science High School about the prevention and impacts of obesity.
