This study aims to reveal the contribution of principals‟leadership, teach-ers‟ work motivation, and school culture on the discipline of senior high school students and vocational high school students in Polewali Mandar, Sulawesi Barat. This study was an expost facto study. The research subjects consisted of all 425 senior high school teachers in Polewali Mandar Regency, Sulawesi Barat and a sample of 193 was established using the proportionate cluster random sampling technique. The data were collected by means of a questionnaire and analyzed using the multiple regression technique to test the research hypotheses. The results of this study show that there is positive and significant contribution of: (1)the principals‟ transformational leadership on the discipline of the students as much as 39.8%; (2) the teachers‟ work motivation on the students‟ discipline as much as 20,7%; (3) the school culture on the discipline of the students as much as 38%; (4) principals‟ leadership, teachers‟ work motivation, and school culture as an aggregate on the students‟ discipline much as 52.6%. This indicates that if principals‟leadership, teachers‟ work motivation, and school culture are enhanced in quality, they will have positive contributions to senior high school teachers and vocational high school teachers in Polewali Mandar, Sulawesi Barat.

The purpose of this study was to determine the communication strategy used by the Polewali Mandar Regional Library and Archives Service in increasing reading interest, especially in the Polewali Mandar area. The method in this study is a qualitative research method, the researchers conducted in-depth interviews with informants, namely the librarian of the Polewali Mandar Regency Library and Archives Service. The results showed that the communication strategy carried out was aimed at the community and school students. The message conveyed is the activities held in order to increase interest in reading the program targets. The impact is very good because the enthusiasm of the community and school students is very high in welcoming activities in the form of storytelling competitions and speaking competitions at the central level, in collaboration with literacy groups in Balanipa and mobile library activities. the implications of this communication strategy are very clear changes in the increase in reading interest, in 2018 elementary school students, namely 41% boys, 45% female elementary school students then in 2019 there was an increase in reading interest in elementary school students, namely male students increased 44% and female students to 46%, there is real progress from the communication strategy that has been implemented to increase interest in reading.Keywords: Communication Strategy, Interest in Reading, Library. This study discusses ethics in a communication process that takes place in virtual public space through social media. A search of the behavior and actions of bullying on Facebook media, both as perpetrators and as victims whose subjects are students of the Faculty of Social Sciences and Government of Al Asyariyah Mandar University. Facebook media is very free and ethical issues depend on the individual users. By that, Facebook media has very good benefits and also has a negative impact on ethical principles. Bullying attitudes and actions have more psychological dimensions, carried out with various motivations, for example; angry and wants revenge, frustration, looking for attention, just entertainment time, or just joking.

This study aims to determine how the implementation of local government policies regarding parking fees on the side of public roads in Pekkabata Central Market, Polewali Mandar Regency. This research used a qualitative descriptive method, with data collection techniques through interviews and documentation. The results showed that the implementation of the local government policy regarding parking fees at the Pekkabata Central Market was not good because the supervision carried out by the Transportation Agency, especially from UPTD Parking, was still lacking, especially related to illegal collection practices carried out by illegal parking attendants. To emphasize the security of illegal parking attendants, it is necessary to have socialization by the local government related to Regional Regulation Number 2 of 2018 concerning Retribution for Parking Services on Public Roads and Special Parking Areas.

This research was motivated by the problems found in the Lantora Urban Village Office, Polewali Subdistrict, Polewali Mandar District, namely there are still some indications that lead to low employee work productivity because the efficiency of archival management has not been maximized. This can be seen from the existence of archives that are not stored in place, stacked in filing cabinets and warehouses, causing the archive to be quickly damaged and difficult to find. As a result, there are still jobs that are not completed on time so that the results of work achieved are not maximized. Therefore, it is necessary to have efficient, good and orderly archival management so that it can make it easier for employees to store and find. Archive arrangement is one aspect that must be applied in achieving office goals in order to support increased office work productivity.

This study aims to find out how the use of Wandu language among waria especially in Polewali Mandar. In this study, the respondents were ten transvestites in Polewali District who had criteria determined by the author. Based on the objectives to be achieved, this study includes descriptive quality research. Descriptive research aims to describe the state or status of events. In this case to find out and explain the use of the language of Wandu in interpersonal communication among waria. The results showed that the average transvestite used the language of transvestites to communicate with other transvestites. That transvestites do so that they are more free to communicate and convey things that others do not want to know like their personal problems.

This study aims to determine the public's interpretation of the outdoor media for cigarette advertising and the healthy lifestyle of the people of Sawidesing Village. The research method used is descriptive qualitative method. Data were obtained through interviews, surveys, and documentation. The results showed that the outdoor media for cigarette advertising is a very helpful message in bridging the understanding of the existence of a cigarette product, especially useful on the sales side. Meanwhile, regarding cigarettes and their healthy lifestyle, smoking is a part of life that really helps all their daily activities. Cigarettes actually become an element that makes citizens always healthy in their activities from young to old.

Penelitian ini merupakan penelitian kualitatif dengan pendekatan deskriftif yang bertujuan untuk mengetahui Akuntabilitas Pelayanan Izin Mendirikan Bangunan (IMB) di Kecamatan Mamasa. Sumber data dalam penelitian ini adalah informan yang berjumlah 22 orang. Pengumpulan data dilakukan dengan cara mengopservasi, wawancara, dan dokumentasi. Teknik analisa yang di gunakan adalah analisa data kualitatif yang merupakan uraian serta menginterpretasikan data yang di peroleh di lapangan dari informan yang ada. Hasil analisis menunjukkan bahwa akuntabilitas penyelenggaraan pelayanan IMB di Kabupaten Mamasa yang dilakukan oleh DPMPTSP dan Dinas PU (Bidang Tata Ruang) sepenuhnya belum akuntabel dalam memberikan pelayanan. Hal ini berdasarkan bahwa Acuan pelayanan belum berorientasi sepenuhnya kepada pengguna jasa. Hal ini, dilihat dari lamanya waktu penyelesaian Izin Mendirikan Bangunan (IMB) yang masih ada pengguna jasa mengalami keterlambatan yang tidak sesuai standar waktu yang di tetapkan. Namun disisi lain dari hasil wawancara banyak kemudahan yang di dapatkan oleh para pengguna jasa, dan prioritas utama sudah sangat baik dimana semua kepentingan dan kebutuhan di perhatikan dengan sangat baik oleh para petugas dan juga dari segi kejelasan biaya pemohon hanya membayar retribusi yang sudah ditetapkan oleh Perda. masyarakat pengguna jasa berpendapat bahwa pemenuhan kepentingan pengguna jasa setidaknya telah mengalami peningkatan jika dibandingkan dengan tahun –tahun sebelumnya

Dinas Kependudukan dan Catatan Sipil adalah sebuah instansi pemerintah yang bertanggung jawab dalam mengelola dan memelihara data kependudukan serta administrasi kependudukan suatu negara atau wilayah. Fungsi dan tanggung jawab Dinas Kependudukan dan Catatan Sipil dapat bervariasi di setiap negara, tergantung pada sistem administrasi dan peraturan yang berlaku. Namun, tujuan umum mereka adalah untuk menyediakan layanan administrasi kependudukan yang penting bagi warga negara dan pemerintah.Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk melihat apa upaya yang dilakukan oleh DISDUKCAPIL dalam meningkatkan kualitas kerja pegawainya. Penelitian ini menggunakan metode penelitian deskriptif kualitatif, penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mendeskripsikan mengenai Kualitas Kerja Pada Dinas Kependudukan Dan Catatan Sipil Kabupaten Polewali Mandar. Adapun informan pada penelitian ini adalah kepala dinas atau sekretaris DISDUKCAPIL serta kepala bidang dan masyarakat.Hasil yang dicapai dalam penelitian ini adalah adanya peningkatan kualitas kerja yang dialami oleh pegawai DISDUKCAPIL melalui upaya yang dilakukan yang berupa pelatihan rutin berupa BIMTEK dan RAKOR serta melatih komunikasi yang baik, pemberian insentif, penghargaan dan apresiasi serta mencipakan hubungan yang harmonis didalam organisasi. Sehingga dapat memberikan pelayanan yang baik kepada masyarakat.

The purpose of this study was to determine the public relations strategy in marketing waterboom attractions in Polewali Mandar Regency. The research uses a qualitative approach to explain phenomena through deep data collection. The results show that many visitors know Polman Waterboom Tourism from social media including information on all tourist objects and what activities are carried out. In building the company's image, one of the strategies prepared by Polman Waterboom Tourism is to build attractiveness and make nature tourism much more modern and change the mindset of visitors that nature tourism is boring. Technologically, nature tourism now has many rides for games for children to adults. Even so, there is still a lack of increase in the number of visitors at the water boom rides because many new tourist objects have emerged.
