Abstract

This study aims to determine the effect of perceived supervisor support with the frequency of presenteeism based on gender and age in elementary school teachers in Gantung District, East Belitung Regency. The population of this study was 168 elementary school teachers, while the determination of the number of samples was obtained from the determination of the number of Isaac & Michael sample tables at a significance level of 5% so that a minimum sample of 114 teachers was obtained. The sampling method was a combination of convenience sampling and quota sampling techniques. The instruments used in this study were 6 items sub-scale perceived supervisor support developed from the Survey of Organizational Support (SPOS) (Eisenberger et al., 2001; Putri, 2007) and 1 item presenteeism’ frequency (Aronsson, et al., 2000). Based on the results of statistical data processing and analysis, it was known that the level of supervisors' support was in the high category with a percentage of 84%, while the frequency of presenteeism was in the low category with a percentage of 54%. Based on the results of hypothesis testing, it was known that the influence between perceived supervisor support on the frequency of presenteeism was only significant in elementary school teachers in middle adulthood (B = -. 019; t = -3.111; Sig = <. 05; R2 = 11.8%), especially the female teachers (B = - 023; t = -2.734; Sig = <. 05; R2 = 17.6%). The role of the principal in initiating, implementing and promoting a supportive climate in the school environment can be maximized as a form of support from superiors that is useful in intervening in presenteeism.

Abstract

Hubungan antara Self-efficacy dan Hardiness dengan Work engagement pada Anggota DPRD Kota Surakarta The Relationship Between Self-efficacy and Hardiness with Work engagement on Surakarta City Council Members Nugraini Aprilia, Aditya Nanda Priyatama, Pratista Arya Satwika nugrainiaprilia@gmail.com Program Studi Psikologi Fakultas Kedokteran Universitas Sebelas Maret ABSTRAK Work engagement adalah suatu keadaan positif mengenai pemenuhan pekerjaan yang berupa keterlibatan secara fisik, kognitif dan emosional selama menjalankan peran kerjanya. Sumber Daya Manusia yang memiliki engagement terhadap pekerjaannya akan membantu tercapainya tujuan dari organisasi tempatnya bekerja. Pada anggota DPRD Kota Surakarta, work engagement yang tinggi akan membantu tercapainya tiga fungsi DPRD, yaitu fungsi legislasi, anggaran dan pengawasan. Work engagement pada suatu individu dipengaruhi oleh berbagai variabel, diantaranya yaitu self-efficacy dan hardiness. Tujuan penelitian ini adalah untuk mengetahui hubungan antara self-efficacy dan hardiness dengan work engagement, hubungan antara self-efficacy dengan work engagement, dan hubungan antara hardiness dengan work engagement pada anggota DPRD Kota Surakarta. Populasi dalam penelitian ini merupakan 45 anggota DPRD Kota Surakarta periode 2014-2019. Sampling yang digunakan adalah total sampel. Sampel penelitian berjumlah 44 anggota DPRD Kota Surakarta. Instrumen yang digunakan adalah skala work engagement, skala self-efficacy, dan skala hardiness. Hasil analisis regresi berganda menunjukkan nilai Fhitung sebesar 3,066 (< Ftabel 3,18) dengan p > 0,05, dan nilai R = 0,361. Nilai R2 dalam penelitian ini sebesar 0,130 atau 13%, dimana sumbangan efektif self-efficacy sebesar 10,49% dan sumbangan efektif hardiness sebesar 2,50%. Secara parsial, tidak terdapat hubungan yang signifikan antara self-efficacy dengan work engagement (rx1y = 0,276), p > 0,05; serta tidak terdapat hubungan antara hardiness dengan work engagement (rx2y = 0,108), p > 0,05. Kesimpulan pada penelitian ini adalah tidak terdapat hubungan yang signifikan antara self-efficacy dan hardiness dengan work engagement, antara self-efficacy dengan work engagement, dan antara hardiness dengan work engagement pada anggota DPRD Kota Surakarta. Peningkatan kualitas aspek dedication dan aspek absorption akan berpengaruh terhadap tingkat work engagement yang tinggi. Kata kunci: hardiness, self-efficacy, work engagement

Abstract

Keterikatan yang terjalin antara guru sekolah dasar dengan siswa menyebabkan rendahnya keinginan para guru sekolah dasar untuk tidak bekerja saat mengalami masalah kesehatan atau kelelahan kerja. Keterikatan tersebut mendorong tingginya prevalensi presenteeism dengan banyak konsekuensi negatif yang mengikutinya. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengetahui apakah terdapat pengaruh task significance, perceived supervisor support, dan conscientiousness terhadap presenteeism Guru Sekolah Dasar. Penelitian ini menggunakan metode kuantitatif. Populasi dalam penelitian ini adalah Guru Sekolah Dasar di Provinsi Kepulauan Bangka Belitung. Responden pada penelitian ini adalah sebanyak 177 Guru Sekolah Dasar. Alat ukur yang digunakan dalam penelitian ini adalah skala likert. Pada penelitian ini presenteeism sebagai sebuah takaran produktivitas ketika bekerja dalam kondisi sakit diukur dengan menggunakan Work Limitation Questionnaire, sementara task significance diukur menggunakan Job Diagnostic Survey, perceived supervisor support diukur mengunakan sub-perceived supervisor support scale, dan dimensi conscientiousness diukur menggunakan The Big Five Inventory. Analisis data dalam penelitian ini menggunakan analisis regresi berganda dengan bantuan program IBM SPSS. Hasil analisis data menemukan bahwa terdapat pengaruh task significance, perceived supervisor support, dan conscientiousness secara simultan terhadap presenteeism guru sekolah dasar.

Abstract

The purpose of this study was to empirically determine the relationship between work environment and compensation with turnover in coffeeshop employees in Kudus city. This research is quantitative in nature. This research was conducted at Jota Kudusi from September to December 2024. In this study, researchers took the population as active employees for 2 years at the coffeshop who had been affected by turnover. The sampling technique used in this study is non probability sampling with purposive sampling method. Collecting data in this study using the work environment scale, compensation scale, and turnover scale. Data analysis in this study used two predictor regression analysis methods and product moment. The results of this study indicate that the major hypothesis which says there is a significant relationship between work environment and compensation with turnover is accepted with an effective contribution of 25.1%. Thus, the conclusion of this study is that work environment and compensation have a significant influence on turnover in coffeeshop employees in Kudus City.

Abstract

Male employees have higher psychological well-being than female employees, indicating that men feel more likely to achieve well-being in the workplace than women. The purpose of this study was to determine the relationship between work stress and perceived organizational support on the psychological well-being of female contract employees. This study used a quantitative method with 75 female respondents who were female contract employees in Kudus Regency. The research sample was obtained through non-probability in addition to purposive sampling. This study used a scale of psychological well-being, work stress, and perceived organizational support. The results of the two predictor regression analysis showed that there was a relationship between work stress and perceived organizational support on psychological well-being, with rx1.2y = 0.589 and a significance level of 0.000 (p <0.01), there was an effective contribution of 34.7%.

Abstract

  The study analyzed the relationship between family functioning and work empowerment on personal growth initiative among workers with disabilities. It involved 244 participants selected through purposive sampling, focusing on active workers across various sectors. The researchers utilized Likert scales to measure family functioning, work empowerment, and personal growth initiative, ensuring reliability with Cronbach's Alpha (α > 0.8). Normality and linearity assumptions were met before analysis. Multiple regression analysis results showed a significant relationship (F = 32.521, p < 0.01), indicating that family functioning and work empowerment explained 21.3% of the variation in personal growth initiative (R² = 0.213). These findings highlighted the importance of family support and workplace empowerment in promoting personal growth for workers with disabilities, suggesting a need for inclusive policies and support programs to enhance their quality of life.

Abstract

Maraknya kasus kekerasan seksual yang terjadi di pesantren menodai citra pesantren sebagai institusi pendidikan islam sehingga berdampak pada penurunan kepercayaan masyarakat terhadap pesantren. Rebranding pesantren sebagai lembaga anti kekerasan seksual dirasa perlu untuk mengembalikan citra pesantren salah satunya menggunakan intervensi appreciative inquiry yang merupakan intervensi positif dengan tujuan untuk memfasilitasi kesiapan berubah. Penelitian ini untuk meninjau pengaruh intervensi appreciative inquiry terhadap kesiapan pesantren untuk berubah guna menyukseskan rebranding pesantren. Menggunakan metode one group pretest-posttest experiment, sebanyak 17 subjek berasal dari stakeholder pondok pesantren mengikuti rangkaian empat siklus appreciative inquiry yang berlangsung selama empat hari berturut-turut. Sebelum intervensi, sejumlah 10 aitem skala kesiapan berubah diberikan kepada partisipan sebagai pretest lalu dibandingkan dengan posttest yang diberikan setelah rangkaian intervensi diberikan. Teknik analisis data menggunakan analisis statistik non-parametrik wilcoxon signed test. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan peningkatan skor kesiapan berubah yang signifikan setelah dilakukan intervensi appreciative inquiey (p < 0.05). Kesimpulan dari penelitian ini menunjukkan efektivitas appreciative inquiry dalam memfasilitasi kesiapan berubah sehingga dapat membawa harapan akan kesuksesan rencana rebranding di kemudian hari. Abstract

Studi ini menyelidiki peran efikasi diri dalam meningkatkan performa atlet bela diri, dengan fokus pada bagaimana mereka mengembangkan dan memanfaatkan konstruksi psikologis ini selama kompetisi. Metode penelitian kualitatif digunakan, yang melibatkan wawancara semi-terstruktur dengan praktisi bela diri di berbagai tingkat kompetitif. Penelitian dilakukan dalam beberapa tahap: pemilihan partisipan, pengumpulan data melalui wawancara, dan analisis tematik dari respons. Temuan tersebut mengungkapkan bahwa atlet membangun efikasi diri melalui pelatihan yang ketat, penguatan positif dari pelatih, dan praktik reflektif setelah kompetisi. Tema-tema utama yang diidentifikasi meliputi penilaian lawan, adaptasi strategis, manajemen emosional, dan pengaruh pelatihan. Atlet mengkategorikan lawan berdasarkan tingkat keterampilan yang dirasakan dan menyesuaikan strategi mereka. Ketahanan emosional sangat penting untuk mengelola kecemasan dan menjaga kepercayaan diri, terutama dalam situasi bertekanan tinggi. Selain itu, hubungan pelatihan yang mendukung berdampak signifikan pada kepercayaan diri dan hasil kinerja atlet. Hasil tersebut menggarisbawahi pentingnya menumbuhkan efikasi diri dalam program pelatihan bela diri untuk meningkatkan kinerja kompetitif. Studi ini berkontribusi pada pemahaman faktor psikologis dalam olahraga dan menawarkan wawasan bagi pelatih dan atlet yang ingin meningkatkan kinerja melalui peningkatan efikasi diri. Abstract

Purpose of the study: This study aimed to examine the relationship between psychological capital and organizational culture with Organizational Citizenship Behavior among outsourcing employees at PT Pura Barutama. Methodology: This study employed a quantitative correlational design to examine the relationships between psychological capital, organizational culture, and organizational citizenship behavior among 98 outsourced employees in Central Java, Indonesia. Participants were selected through purposive sampling based on specific inclusion criteria, and data were collected using validated questionnaires adapted to the Indonesian context. Statistical analyses included descriptive statistics, Pearson correlation, and hierarchical regression to assess relationships and predictive power between variables. Ethical guidelines were rigorously followed, ensuring informed consent, confidentiality, and data integrity throughout the research process. Main Findings: These findings indicate that the higher the psychological capital and the stronger the organizational culture, the greater the tendency for outsourcing employees to exhibit positive Organizational Citizenship Behavior in the workplace. Novelty/Originality of this study: This study takes a different subject than usual, namely outsourcing employees from PT Pura. It provides a little more understanding of how organizational culture and psychological capital can influence Organizational Citizenship Behavior among the outsourcing employees of PT Pura Barutama.

Abstract

Purpose of the study: This study aims to determine the relationship between dual role conflict and family social support on fear of success in working mothers. Methodology: A total of 84 participants were involved in this study through purposive sampling technique, with data collection using three scales, namely the dual role conflict scale, the family social support scale, and the fear of success scale. Main Findings: These findings indicate that the higher the role conflict experienced by working mothers, the greater their tendency to experience fear of success, while family social support actually acts as a protective factor. Novelty/Originality of this study: The uniqueness of this study lies in the placement of fear of success in the context of social relations of working mothers in the midst of the patriarchal structure of Indonesian society, thus broadening the understanding that fear of success is not merely an individual psychological phenomenon, but is also closely related to social dynamics, gender roles, and domestic pressures faced by women in pursuing success in the public sphere.
