Abstract

Penelitian ini bertujuan mengetahui efektivitas pelatihan mindfulness untuk meningkatkan psychological well-being ibu bekerja yang mengalami work-family conflict. Hipotesis dalam penelitian ini adalah pelatihan mindfulness efektif dalam meningkatkan psychological well-being ibu bekerja yang mengalami work-family conflict. Ibu bekerja mengalami work-family conflict dalam penelitian ini adalah wanita yang bertanggung jawab sebagai istri dan ibu, sekaligus bekerja di luar rumah yang mengalami ketidakseimbangan antara pekerjaan dan keluarga. Subjek penelitian ini adalah empat orang ibu bekerja dengan skor tinggi work-family conflict dan skor rendah psychological well-being yang mengikuti pelatihan mindfulness. Data penelitian didapatkan dari skala work-family conflict dan skala psychological well-being. Penelitian ini menggunakan metode kuantitatif desain ekperimen one group pretest posttest design. Hasil analisis data dengan Wilcoxon Signed-Rank Test, didapatkan nilai z sebesar -2.000 dengan p = 0.046 (p<0.005) yang berarti ada pengaruh signifikan pelatihan mindfulness dalam meningkatkan psychological well-being ibu bekerja yang mengalami work-family conflict.Hal ini berarti dengan pelatihan mindfulness yang bertujuan meningkatkan kesadaran atau mindful, dengan memberi perhatian terhadap pengalaman saat ini secara disengaja, tanpa penilaian agar mampu merespon dengan penerimaan, membuat ibu bekerja yang mengalami ketidak seimbangan peran antara keluarga dan pekerjaan, dapat meningkatkan psychological well-beingnya, yang ditandai dengan meningkatkan penerimaan diri, lebih mampu membina hubungan positif dengan orang lain, lebih memiliki kemandirian, dapat lebih efektif mengatur lingkungannya, memiliki tujuan hidup yang lebih jelas, serta terus mengembangkan dirinya.

Abstract

Banjir besar yang melanda Kabupaten Demak, Jawa Tengah, menyebabkan kerusakan signifikan dan memaksa banyak warga mengungsi, termasuk di Terminal Jati di Kabupaten Kudus. Penelitian menunjukkan bahwa trauma bencana dapat berdampak signifikan terhadap kesehatan mental. Dengan itu, Fakultas Psikologi Universitas Muria Kudus menginisiasi kegiatan bantuan psikososial melalui pendampingan Psychological First Aid (PFA) dan Play Therapy bagi para korban banjir. Metode ini melibatkan dosen dan mahasiswa dalam penyediaan dukungan emosional serta kegiatan bermain untuk anak-anak. Hasil dari kegiatan ini menunjukkan peningkatan yang signifikan dalam mengatasi trauma dan memperkuat resiliensi di antara pengungsi dewasa dan anak-anak. Pengungsi dewasa mendapatkan bantuan dalam mengatur stres melalui PFA, sementara anak-anak melalui Play Therapy, yang terbukti efektif dalam membantu mereka mengatasi pengalaman traumatis mereka. Kesimpulan dari kegiatan ini menunjukkan bahwa gabungan pendekatan Psychological First Aid dan Play Therapy efektif dalam mendukung pemulihan emosional dan mental pengungsi, memberikan manfaat langsung dalam mengurangi stres dan memfasilitasi pemrosesan trauma.

Abstract

This study aimed to test psychometric properties of strength use scale (SUS) as a unidimensional concept with 14 question items on a sample of female leaders who work in two manufacturing companies. The investigation, the subjects used consisted of 521 females in management positions at various levels. Confirmatory Factor Analysis (CFA) was applied to analyze the factor validity of the unidimensional SUS consisting of 14 items. Additionally, Indonesian version of SUS was validated using a confirmation approach. In line with previous studies, the analysis confirmed the unidimensionality of the scale, which measures a singular strength through factors. The demands on internal consistency, composite reliability, and convergent validity were met. The results showed that Indonesian version of SUS is comparable to the original English version, representing a valid and reliable measure of strength used in Indonesian. Therefore, future studies should consider adding subjects with different sociodemographic backgrounds.

Abstract

The MBKM Teaching Assistance Program is implemented based on the principle of problem-based learning where students involved in this program will conduct learning in designated educational units to engage in the teaching and learning process and help solve some of the problems encountered. The purpose of this study is to explore the perceptions of students who have participated in the program to find out how far the achievements and benefits obtained through this program so that later it can be a recommendation for improving the implementation of the next program. This research uses a descriptive qualitative method where the data collection process is carried out through interviews with a total of three respondents. The respondents selected were students participating in the MBKM Teaching Assistance program who underwent the internship process in different educational units The results of this study are that students participating in the program feel the benefits of increasing knowledge and skills both directly related to lecture science and skills in other forms such as self-adjustment, self-management, collaboration, and reflective thinking

Abstract

Karakter positif merupakan bekal yang sangat penting bagi mahasiswa, terlebih pada era industri 4.0 yang menuntut manusia untuk selalu beradaptasi dengan teknologi pada kehidupan sehari-hari. Dalam bidang pendidikan misalnya, mahasiswa dituntut untuk beradaptasi dengan berbagai Artificial Intellegence dalam menunjang kegiatan belajar. Hal ini merupakan hal positif yang dapat mempermudah mahasiswa dalam mengakses informasi. Namun, tidak sedikit pula dampak negatif yang ditimbulkan seperti menurunnya ketekunan, keseriusan, dan kegigihan belajar mahasiswa. Oleh sebab itu diselenggarakan kegiatan internalisasi karakter positif guna membekali dan meningkatkan kualitas karakter mahasiswa. Kegiatan ini bertujuan membentengi dan mengedukasi Mahasiswa di Kabupaten Kudus mengenai tindakan tidak berintegritas di era industri 4.0. Adapaun target dari kegiatan ini diharapkan mahasiswa memahami konsekuensi dari tindakan tidak berintegritas, serta diharapkan mampu mengimplementasikan karakter positif dalam berperilaku sehari-hari. Metode yang digunakan yaitu penyampaian materi melalui ceramah, diskusi tanya jawab, form Johari Window dan focus group discussion (FGD). Kegiatan ini berlokasi di Aula Masjid Darul ‘Ilmi Universitas Muria Kudus, di ikuti oleh 115 Mahasiswa di Kabupaten Kudus. Hasil yang diharapkan yaitu peserta mampu memahami dan menginternalisasi karakter positif sebagai bekal untuk membentengi diri dari perilaku tidak berintegritas.

Abstract

This study aims to determine whether there is the relationship between The Big Five Personality on students’ time management. This study also explores The Big Five Personality each traits, which consists of neuroticism, extraversion, openness to experience, agreeableness and conscientiousness on student’s time management. The approach used is quantitative method. The data collection tool uses The Time Management Scale and The Big Five Factor Inventory. The population in this study were college students of Universitas Muria Kudus. The number of samples collected was 59 college students in their sixth semester. The data analysis method consisted of normality test, homogeneity test, and hypothesis testing with Pearson Corellation. The results of the analysis revealed a significant and positive relationships between The Big Five Personality on students’ time management. However, further correlation and regression analysis revealed neuroticism as the most predictive student’s time management but revealed a non-significant relationship. Additionally, only conscientiousness trait showed a significant relationship with student’s time management.

Abstract

The low level of literacy in the digital era is one of the main challenges facing Indonesia including in Dersalam Village, Kudus Regency, Central Java. Digital literacy, containing the ability to access, manage, and evaluate sources of information is essential for boosting productivity in people’s lives. PPK Ormawa program from Universitas Muria Kudus took place in Dersalam Village aiming to improve digital literacy among the community by establishing five Reading Corners, Technology Reading Corner is one of it. This program is implemented within three stages: observation, setting up the spot, and conducting educational activities from August to November 2024. At the Technology Reading Corner, People are trained to use Microsoft Office, and are introduced to future technologies such as Artificial Intelligence (AI). The results indicate an increase in the community’s learning interest and digital skills, particularly in operating technological devices to support their daily activities and even their entrepreneurship. Through this initiative, there is a strong hope that Dersalam can become one of a smart village, more adaptive to technological advancements, by enhancing the digital literacy of their people as a first step toward sustainable social transformation.

Abstract

The distinctive value of charismatic churches lies in their approach to the experience of praise and worship, characterized by a unique style. Music plays a crucial role in charismatic churches, serving as the foundation of their worship practices. In addition to music, bodily movements are commonly observed and considered a natural expression in the worship style of charismatic churches. The incorporation of bodily movements adds a tactile and visual dimension to the spiritual experience of the congregation. This particular style of praise and worship not only deepens the faith of the congregation but also has the potential to positively impact their mental well-being. By engaging in this worship style, congregants can achieve a profound sense of spiritual fulfillment and heightened awareness of God's presence. Moreover, participants often report experiencing a sense of internal renewal, along with increased positive emotions and emotional well-being when engaging in the worship activities of charismatic churches. Through qualitative and descriptive analysis, the author seeks to examine various aspects of praise and worship in charismatic churches. It is evident that the charismatic church's approach to praise and worship offers numerous benefits that contribute to the spiritual enrichment and overall well-being of its members. The positive and holistic effects of the charismatic church's praise and worship style on the spiritual life of the congregation are thoroughly explored in the author's review.AbstrakNilai khas gereja karismatik terletak pada pendekatannya terhadap pengalaman praise worship, yang ditandai dengan gaya yang unik. Musik memainkan peran penting dalam gereja karismatik, berfungsi sebagai landasan praktik ibadah mereka. Selain musik, gerak tubuh umumnya diamati dan dianggap sebagai ekspresi alami dalam gaya ibadah gereja karismatik. Penggabungan gerak tubuh menambah dimensi sentuhan dan visual pada pengalaman spiritual jemaat. Gaya praise worship khusus ini tidak hanya memperdalam iman jemaat tetapi juga memiliki potensi untuk berdampak positif pada kesejahteraan mental mereka. Dengan terlibat dalam gaya ibadah ini, anggota jemaat dapat mencapai rasa pemenuhan rohani yang mendalam dan kesadaran yang tinggi akan kehadiran Tuhan. Selain itu, peserta sering melaporkan mengalami rasa pembaruan internal, bersama dengan peningkatan perasaan positif dan kesejahteraan emosional ketika terlibat dalam kegiatan ibadah gereja yang karismatik. Melalui penelitian analisis kualitatif dan deskriptif, penulis berusaha untuk memeriksa berbagai aspek praise worhsip gereja karismatik. Jelas bahwa pendekatan gereja karismatik terhadap praise worship menawarkan berbagai manfaat yang berkontribusi pada pengayaan spiritual dan kesejahteraan keseluruhan anggotanya. Efek positif dan holistik dari gaya praise worship gereja karismatik terhadap kehidupan spiritual jemaat dieksplorasi secara menyeluruh dalam ulasan penulis.

Abstract

  The study analyzed the relationship between family functioning and work empowerment on personal growth initiative among workers with disabilities. It involved 244 participants selected through purposive sampling, focusing on active workers across various sectors. The researchers utilized Likert scales to measure family functioning, work empowerment, and personal growth initiative, ensuring reliability with Cronbach's Alpha (α > 0.8). Normality and linearity assumptions were met before analysis. Multiple regression analysis results showed a significant relationship (F = 32.521, p < 0.01), indicating that family functioning and work empowerment explained 21.3% of the variation in personal growth initiative (R² = 0.213). These findings highlighted the importance of family support and workplace empowerment in promoting personal growth for workers with disabilities, suggesting a need for inclusive policies and support programs to enhance their quality of life.
