Abstract

Students’ achievement by second grade of SMA 13 Padang will be optimum if the teacher use a learning model that can assure students towards their ability in learning. One of learning model that can be used is Assurance, Relevance, Interest, Assessment, and Satisfaction (ARIAS) which learning materials have character values in it. This research aims to research the impact of ARIAS learning model which have character values towards competence of the second grade students SMAN 13 Padang. This research used Quasi Experiment Research with Randomized Control Group Only Design. The sample in this research was taken by Purposive Sampling Technique. The instruments of this research were observation sheet for behavior competence, writing test for knowledge competence, and rubric score for skill competence. The hypothesis was tested by using Chi Square test for the behavior and skill competences; meanwhile t-test was used to test the knowledge competence. The results revealed that ARIAS learning model can increase students’ competences of second grade at SMAN 13 Padang in behavior and skill competences, but this model did not give impact for skill competence, with significance level 0.05

Abstract

Critical thinking skills are still not optimal shows learners is still difficult to understand the concepts and principles of physics. One possible cause is the use of media that do not support learners to develop critical thinking skills. Interactive multimedia CD in problem based learning models aided LKPD is expected to be effective ways to improve the critical thinking skills of learners. The purpose of this study was to investigate the influence of interactive multimedia CD in problem based learning models aided LKPD the critical thinking skills of students grade X SMAN 1 Padang. This research is a quasi-experimental study with a randomized control group design ppretest- posttest design. The population in this study were all grade X SMAN 1 Padang MIA Academic Year 2016/2017. Sampling was done in two stages, using purposive sampling to determine the grade educators to be used and cluster random sampling to determine the appropriate sample class. The instrument used in this study is in the form of a written test about the description. Data obtained from the critical thinking skills score is performed on the answers of students who identifies indicators of critical thinking skills. Data were analyzed with the equality test two averages using statistical t test and regression and correlation to determine the relationship between independent variables and variable control. The test results showed thitungtcount of 2.57 is outside the reception area of Ho. This shows the significant difference from the average value of critical thinking skills between the two classes of samples. Product Moment Correlation analysis showed 31.40% critical thinking skills are affected by the implementation of interactive multimedia CD in problem based learning models aided LKPD and the remaining 68.6% is influenced by other factors. Thus, it can be concluded that there is a significant impact on the use of interactive multimedia CD in problem based learning models aided LKPD against citical thinking skills of students in the 5% significance level

Abstract

Student’s achievement on competence of behavior, knowledge and sklii in Physic subject has not been in optimal results, yet. It is caused by less-motivated students while learning Physic and they do not understand well about the lesson; moreover, the learning itself is monotonous and less-attractive. So that, this research used Cooperative Learning Model, Jigsaw II, which character values in learning material is assumed to increase student’s competence in Physic. This researc used Quasi Experiment Research with Randomized Control Group Only Design. The population of this research was students of XI MIA at SMAN 5 Padang. The sample in this research was taken by Cluster Random Sampling technique; as a result, XI MIA 1 and XI MIA 5 were chosen as sample of this research which have 28 students each class. The instrumentations of this research were observation sheet and self-assessment for behavior competence, writing tes for knowledge competenece and rubric score for skill competence. For analyzing the data, the researcher used t-test at the 0,05 significance levelo for these three competences. The results revealed that the using of Cooperative Learning Model, Jigsaw II, which learning material had character values gave psitive impact on competence of behavior, knowledge and skill for students of XI MIA at SMAN 5 Padang

Abstract

The achievement of students competence in natural science is not optimum. It is caused by the students worksheet used which cannot make students to learn independently and actively to find the concept of what they have learned. Therefore, it is necessarily the students worksheet that can be made students to learn independently and actively. Students worksheet which can be used is based on problem based learning model which is a completed concept map. The purpose of this research was to investigated affect of using student worksheet based on problem based learning model which is a completed concept map toward. It was quasy experiment and using randomized control group only design. The population of this research were all students in the first grade at SMPN 3 Bukittinggi who registered on academic year 2015/2016. The technique sampling was purpossive sampling. The Instruments used was written test for competence of knowledge, observation sheet for competence of attitude and performance assessment sheet for competence of skills. The technique of data analysis was Chi square on significance level at 0,05. Based on the result of data analysis showed that using students worksheet based on problem based learning model which is completed concept map in natural science learning, it give influence on students competence of knowledge aspect. The result of coefficient of kontingensi was 0,25. For competence of attitude aspect and skills aspect, using students worksheet based on problem based  learning model which is a completed concept map in natural science didn’t give influence

Abstract

Tujuan penelitian ini adalah untuk mengetahui hubungan antara pola asuh orangtua dengan tingkatdepresi pada remaja. Menurut beberapa peneliti sekitar 5% dari remaja menderita simptom depresi,banyak faktor yang mempengaruuhi terjadinya depresi pada remaja antar lain faktor genetik, faktorbiologis, serta faktor-faktor sosial seperti masalah-masalah dengan orangtua, hubunganinterpersonal dengan orangtua maupun teman sebaya, keuangan, penyakit fisik dan lain-lain.Penelitian deskriktif dengan pendekatan cross sectional ini dilakukan dengan menggunakaninstrument penelitian berupa kuesioner. Variable bebas dalam penelitian ini adalah Pola asuhorangtua dan variable terikatnya adalah depresi pada remaja. Subyek penelitian adalah Siswa-siswiSMA Negeri 1 Sinjai Timur dengan sampel sebanyak 136 responden. Uji statistik denganmenggunakan somers’d dengan nilai þ = 0,012 sehingga ada hubungan bermakna antara pola asuhorangtua dengan tingkat depresi pada remaja. Hasil penelitian ini menunjukkan bahwa pada polaasuh orangtua demokratis menunjukkan tingkat depresi pada remaja lebih banyak yang tidak depresidibandingkan dengan pola asuh otoriter. Dari siswa yang tidak depresi konstribusi terbesar adalahberasal dari pola asuh demikratis dibandingkan dengan yang berasal dari pola asuh permisif danberasal dari pola asuh otoriter. Sehingga disarankkan untuk mencegah depresi pada anak orangtua,orangtua diharapkan dapat menerapkan pola asuh demokratis, serta orangtua menjadikan remajasebagai sosok teman dan mengakui sebagai seorang individu yang menginjak dewasa, menghargaiperbedaan pendapat dan mengajak berdiskusi secara terbuka.

Abstract

Tujuan penelitian ini adalah untuk mendeskripsikan, (1) aspek sosial dalam cerpen tersebut, dan (2) relevansi hasil penelitian dalam pembelajaran bahasa Indonesia di SMA. Metode penelitian yang digunakan adalah deskriptif kualitatif. Objek kajian dalam cerpen ini adalah aspek sosial. Data yang dibutuhkan dalam penelitian ini berupa paragraf dalam cerpen “Sepasang Lembu Ibu dan Wak Lam” karya Farizal Sikumbang. Aspek sosial dalam “Sepasang Lembu Ibu dan Wak Lam” karya Farizal Sikumbang dianalisis menggunakan teknik sosiologi sastra. Berdasarkan analisis yang telah dilakukan, terdapat enam aspek sosial yang terdapat dalam cerpen “Sepasang Lembu Ibu dan Wak Lam” karya Farizal Sikumbang yaitu moral, etika, keadaan ekonomi, cinta kasih, ketaatan beragama, dan latar belakang Pendidikan.  Nilai-nilai sosial yang terkandung dalam cerpen tersebut sangat relevan dan berguna dalam menanamkan sikap sosial pada peserta didik. Melalui pesan moral tersebut, menjadikan cerpen ini relevan sebagai bahan pembelajaran bahasa Indonesia. Hal ini dikarenakan bahwa pendidikan tidak hanya sebagai transfer ilmu pengetahun namun juga membentuk moral dan sikap sosial yang baik, sehingga melalui beberapa nilai sosial yang terdapat dalam cerpen tersebut diharapkan dapat diteladani oleh pembaca terutama peserta didik

Abstract

Many studies related to the influence of the learning cycle model on learning outcomes have been carried out, but a summary of this topic needs to be related. This research aims to determine the summary effect of the learning cycle model on physics learning outcomes in general and review based on class level, subject matter units, types of learning cycle model, and types of learning outcomes. The research method used is a meta-analysis. Two research results can be presented based on the data analysis conducted. First, the effect size of the learning cycle model on students' physics learning outcomes is 0.915 in the high category. Second, the effect of the learning cycle model on student physics learning outcomes has the highest effect on (1) class XI of 0.921, (2) fluid material unit of 1.026, (3) learning cycle model 7E is 0.931, (4) learning outcomes for skills aspects are 1.126.
