Abstract

Islam has a view to put things in everything in a balanced position (tawazun). Islam also places men and women as human beings with the same position. However, there are still many who differentiate the position of men and women as creatures of God. One of these differences can be seen from the minimal contribution of a woman or Muslim woman in the field of education. In fact, education is very important because women are the future mothers of their children. After all, education starts from within the family and that is where the role of women as mothers is very significant. This study aims to reveal Abu Syuqqah's thoughts on Islamic acknowledgment of women's involvement in the field of education, which he produced through an effort to reinterpret religious authoritative texts related to women's activities during the prophetic period. This research is also expected to provide understanding and motivation about the balance of roles and contributions of men and women. This study uses a qualitative approach with library research methods. The data collection technique in this study was based on the main source of the book by Abu Syuqqah entitled Taḥrīr al-Mar'ah Fī 'Aṣr al-Risālah, supported by religious authoritative books and scientific journals relevant to the research theme. The results of the study indicate that the call of Islam regarding the obligation to seek knowledge to its adherents is universal, so that there is no legal distinction for both Muslims and Muslim women. Islam also holds that women have the right to get proper education and good teaching as Muslims get. Based on this, according to Abu Syuqqah, the status of women is not an obstacle for Muslim women to have a high spirit in seeking and developing knowledge. The form of women's involvement in education can be in the form of women as students who receive knowledge, or as female teachers who convey knowledge.

Abstract

The purpose of this study was to analyze the relationship of matan and syarah Ta'līm al-Muta'allim Ṭarīq al-Ta'allum with Daulah 'Aliyyah Uthmaniyyah and its implications in Islamic education in the Archipelago.  Islamic education is fixed in terms of teaching materials and learning methods, because it is part of sharia law that relies on evidence, while uslub (technique) and its facilities are constantly evolving. From this point of view, the analysis of the Book of Ta'līm al-Muta'allim Tarīq al-Ta'allum and  its implications in Islamic education in the Archipelago can be reviewed. This research uses qualitative approaches and descriptive methods. Based on the results of the research, the book ta'lîm al-Muta'allim Tarīq al-Ta'allum and its syarah reached the Archipelago through the relationship of Mecca as part of the Territory (governorate level/ Province) of Daulah 'Aliyyah Ottoman who was the Caliphate of the Muslims at that time with the Jawi Scholars who studied there. The Book of Ta'lîm al-Muta'allim Ṭarīq al-Ta'allum and its syarah are clearly seen in the Salafiyyah (Traditional) Pesantren Curriculum especially in Java Island. It can be determined that the "spirit" of the boarding school is the concept of Islamic Education described in the book of Ta’lîm al-Muta’allim Ṭarīq al-Ta'allum and its syarah, especially related to the adab to science and teachers.  Tujuan penelitian ini untuk menganalisis hubungan matan dan syarah Ta'līm al-Muta'allim Tarīq al-Ta'allum dengan Daulah ‘Aliyyah Utsmaniyyah serta implikasinya dalam pendidikan Islam di Nusantara. Pendidikan Islam bersifat tetap dari aspek materi ajar dan metode belajarnya, karena bagian dari hukum syariah yang bersandar pada dalil, sedangkan uslub (teknik) dan sarananya senantiasa berkembang. Dari sudut pandang inilah, analisis kitab Ta’lîm al-Muta’allim Tharîq at-Ta’allum dan implikasinya dalam pendidikan Islam di Nusantara dapat ditinjau. Penelitian ini menggunakan pendekatan kualitatif dan metode deskriptif. Berdasarkan hasil penelitian, kitab Ta’lîm al-Muta’allim Tarīq al-Ta'allum dan syarah-nya sampai ke Nusantara melalui hubungan Mekkah sebagai bagian Wilayah (setingkat Kegubernuran/Provinsi) dari Daulah 'Aliyyah Utsmaniyyah yang merupakan Kekhalifahan-nya kaum Muslimin saat itu dengan para Ulama Jawi yang belajar di sana. Kitab Ta’lîm al-Muta’allim Tarīq al-Ta'allum dan syarah-nya jelas terlihat dalam Kurikulum Pesantren Salafiyyah (Tradisional) terutama di Pulau Jawa. Dapat ditetapkan bahwa "ruh" dari pondok pesantren adalah konsep Pendidikan Islam yang dijelaskan dalam kitab Ta’lîm al-Muta’allim Tarīq al-Ta'allum dan syarahnya, terutama terkait adab terhadap ilmu dan guru.

Abstract

Abstrak Penelitian ini dilatarbelakangi oleh minimnya motivasi belajar siswa dalam mengikuti pembelajaran Pendidikan Agama Islam di sekolah. Berangkat dari masalah ini, diperlukan suatu perangkat pembelajaran yang dapat meningkatkan motivasi dan hasil belajar peserta didik. dengan melakukan pengembangan model pembelajaran, yaitu metode pembelajaran targhib dan tarhib. Tujuan penelitian ini adalah mengkaji dan mengetahui lebih mendalam tentang model pembelajaran targhib dan tarhib guna meningkatkan motivasi belajar siswa. Pendekatan yang digunakan dalam penelitian ini adalah pendekatan penelitian kualitatif. Metode yang digunakan adalah metode analisis konsep dengan kajian literatur. Berdasarkan hasil penelitian, dengan memberikan targhib berupa pujian, penghormatan, pemberian hadiah dan tanda penghargaan serta memberikan tarhib berupa hukuman preventif dan represif, ditemukan bahwa model targhib tarhib dapat meningkatkan motivasi belajar. Abstract This research is motivated by the lack of student motivation in participating in Islamic Religious Education learning in schools. Departing from this problem, we need a learning device that can increase motivation and learning outcomes of students. by developing learning models, namely targhib and tarhib learning methods. The purpose of this research is to study and know more deeply about the Targhib and Tarhib learning models in order to increase student learning motivation. The approach used in this research is a qualitative research approach. The method used is concept analysis method with literature review. Abstract

The issuance of the Regulation of the Minister of Religion of the Republic of Indonesia regarding national standards in the implementation of Islamic religious education in schools requires educators to determine the appropriate learning model in an effort to balance the demands for the progress of facilities and infrastructure in it. So this research is intended to examine the laboratory training learning model and its implementation towards Islamic religious education learning which is expected to be an option in answering these problems. The research was conducted with a qualitative approach and using library research. The results of this study indicate that the laboratory training learning model is a group learning model in which each group is faced directly with a situation, phenomenon or problem, so that students can immediately learn and solve it. The purpose of this model can be seen from three dimensions, namely: intrapersonal, interpersonal, group dynamics and self-direction. Therefore, this model has the potential to be implemented in Islamic religious education as one of the subjects that not only emphasizes the cognitive aspect and this model is expected to be able to balance the demands for the advancement of Islamic religious education facilities and infrastructure in schools and overcome the problems of learning Islamic religious education which seem boring and monotonous.

Abstract

Ahlak menjadi indikator dalam peningkatan ahlak manusai disebuah Negara terkhusus Negara yang kental akan nilai-nilai islami. Baldatun Ṭayyibatun Wa Rabbun Ghafūr adalah sebuah karaketristik atas gambaran suatu negeri yang mana terdapat kebaikan alam dan kebaikan akhlak penduduknya. Secara lebih luas, ialah sebuah negeri yang mengumpulkan kebaikan dunia dan akhirat. Hakikat Baldatun Ṭayyibatun Wa Rabbun Gafūr merupakan keadaan negeri yang menjadi dambaan dan impian seluruh manusia. Penelitian ini terfokus pada penafsiran Baldatun Ṭayyibatun Wa Rabbun Gafūr surat Saba’ ayat 15 menurut Hamka dalam kitab Tafsir Al-Azhar. Adapun jenis penelitian ini adalah penelitian perpustakaan (Library research), dengan pendekatan deskriptif interpretatif. Analisis data dilakukan dengan metode deskriptif analisis, yaitu menguraikan sekaligus menganalisis dari data-data yang ada dengan beberapa langkah. Hasil penelitian ini dapat disimpulkan bahwa menurut Hamka dalam tafsir Al-Azhar makna Baldatun Ṭayyibatun Wa Rabbun Gafûr ditafsirkan sebagai karakter negeri yang memiliki kondisi geografis tanah subur. Kondisi sosial penduduknya ialah ketika negerinya memperoleh kemakmuran tersebut harus menjadikan manusia dekat dengan Allah SWT, tidak kufur, melainkan harus tetap beramal sholih, senantiasa tetap berusaha dan bekerja meskipun nikmat Allah SWT telah melimpah ruah. Hikmah yang dapat diambil ketika kita selalu bersyukur dan beramal sholih ialah negeri tetap baik dilimpahi rahmat dan ampunan oleh Allah SWT. Morals become an indicator in increasing human morality in a country, especially a country that is thick with Islamic values. Baldatun ayyibatun Wa Rabbun Ghafūr is a characteristic of the description of a country where there is the goodness of nature and the moral goodness of its inhabitants. More broadly, it is a country that gathers the goodness of this world and the hereafter. The essence of Baldatun ayyibatun Wa Rabbun Gafūr is the state of a country that is the dream and dream of all humans. This research focuses on the interpretation of Baldatun 'ayyibatun Wa Rabbun Gafūr letter Saba' verse 15 according to Hamka in the book of Tafsir Al-Azhar. The type of this research is library research, with an interpretive descriptive approach. Data analysis was carried out by descriptive analysis method, which was to describe and analyze the existing data in several steps. The results of this study can be concluded that according to Hamka in the interpretation of Al-Azhar the meaning of Baldatun ayyibatun Wa Rabbun Gafûr is interpreted as the character of a country that has fertile soil geographical conditions. The social condition of the population is that when the country gains prosperity, it must make humans close to Allah SWT, not kufr, but must continue to do good deeds, always keep trying and work even though the blessings of Allah SWT have been abundant. The lesson that can be taken when we are always grateful and do good deeds is that the country is still good, overflowing with grace and forgiveness by Allah SWT.

Abstract

Moral decadence is a matter of concern among students or young people today. Behavior that is far from religious teachings, such as drinking, brawls, free sex, abortion, drugs, is something that worries many people, especially parents. Among the factors are technological advances, the environment and lack of parental supervision and lack of instilling religious teachings in their children. At first the learning environment is formed from small groups, namely families, it will give birth to a person's character. In general, if the family environment is good, then noble character will be created and vice versa. In addition to the family environment, there is also another environment that helps shape and foster students' morals formally, namely the school environment. In public schools, including at the public higher education (PTU) level, moral education is taught formally through Islamic Religious Education (PAI) courses. The goal is that students are able to practice religious teachings correctly and consistently. The two environments above do not seem to be sufficient to produce graduates who are able to integrate religious teachings with their respective disciplines, therefore it is necessary to find a learning environment that is able to integrate the understanding of religious teachings according to their respective expertise. The environment is that the student boarding school environment is thought to be able to integrate the values of religious teachings obtained from the family and school environment. This study took the object at the Al-Jihad Student Islamic Boarding School Surabaya. Through a qualitative research approach, it was found that this pesantren has approaches, strategies, methods, techniques in guiding its students to have good character. Al-Jihad Islamic Boarding School uses salafiyah-based learning and integrates it with a modern approach. The educational material examines various books from the salaf and modern scholars and integrates them into a learning model. From this learning model, it is hoped that students and graduates will be able to answer problems according to the challenges of the times. The learning model in Al-Jihad is through habits, such as community service, mutual cooperation, tahajjud, and other practices so that they get used to the good things after completing education at Islamic boarding schools and can feel the benefits.

Abstract

Group investigation merupakan model pembelajaran yang dilakukan dengan pengaturan siswa bekerja dalam kelompok kecil menggunaan pertanyaan kooperatif, diskusi kelompok, serta perencanaan dan proyek kooperatif. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mendeskripsikan penerapan Model Pembelajaran Group Investigation dalam meningkatkan hasil belajar siswa dalam pembelajaran Pendidikan Agama Islam. Penelitian ini menggunakan pendekatan deskriptif kualitatif yaitu penelitian yang menggambarkan bagaimana suatu model pembelajaran diterapkan dan bagaimana hasil yang diharapkan dapat tercapai. Jenis Penelitian ini merupakan penelitian tindakan (action research), karena penelitian dilakukan untuk memecahkan masalah pembelajaran di kelas.Pelaksanaan penelitian dilakukan dalam dua siklus. Peningkatan hasil belajar ditandai dengan peningkatan prosentase hasil kerja kelompok dari siklus I sebesar 79,16 dan meningkat menjadi 86,67 pada siklus II. Hasil ketuntasan belajar pada siklus I sebesar 70,3% dan meningkat pada siklus II menjadi 82%. Group investigation is a learning model that is carried out by setting students to work in small groups using cooperative questions, group discussions, and cooperative planning and projects. This study aims to describe the application of the Group Investigation Learning Model in improving student learning outcomes in learning Islamic Religious Education. This research uses a qualitative descriptive approach, namely research that describes how a learning model is applied and how the expected results can be achieved. This type of research is action research (action research), because the research was conducted to solve learning problems in the classroom. The research was carried out in two cycles. The increase in learning outcomes was marked by an increase in the percentage of group work results from cycle I of 79.16 and increased to 86.67 in cycle II. The results of learning completeness in the first cycle were 70.3% and increased in the second cycle to 82%.
