Abstract

Abstrak: Kegiatan untuk menambah pengetahuan dan keterampilan dalam pembuatan asesoris berupa kalung masker untuk meningkatkan estetika pengguna masker khususnya pada masa pandemi Covid-19. Tujuan pengabdian kepada masyarakat (PKM) ini adalah: 1) Menghasilkan kalung masker yang multi guna, mempermudah penyimpanan dan penggunaan masker serta agar penggunanya tetap tampil modis; 2) Meningkatkan pengetahuan dan keterampilan para siswa SMK PGRI Wlingi dalam materi pelajaran produktif kreatif dan kewirausahaan; 3) Dapat menghasilkan asesoris yang memiliki nilai jual. Metode kegiatan berupa pelatihan secara langsung oleh tim pelaksana PKM. Materi pelatihan berupa penjelasan mengenai teori asesoris, jenis dan macam bentukan, cara membuat, dan tips serta trik dalam penjualan. Pelatihan diberikan secara offline dan online, dengan demonstrasi dan praktek, evaluasi hasil dan pengisian angket respon peserta. Hasil kegiatan berupa asesoris kalung masker dengan berbagai model.

Abstract

Sabun merupakan salah satu kebutuhan pokok masyarakat yang digunakan sebagai pembersih baik tubuh maupun lingkungan. Fokus utama dari program ini adalah inovasi sabun padat sebagai aplikasi ilmu pengetahuan dan teknologi (IPTEK) yang dapat memberikan manfaat social dan lingkungan. Pengabdian masyarakat pada remaja masjid ini dilakukan dengan tujuan untuk memberdayakan mereka dalam mengatasi tantangan bidang kewirausahaan. Metode yang digunakan dengan cara melibatkan partisipasi aktif remaja dalam pengembangan, produksi, dan distribusi sabun padat. Selain melatih pembuatan sabun padat, remaja masjid juga diberikan pembekalan materi tentang kewirausahaan. Melalui pendekatan partisipatif ini, diharapkan remaja dapat merasakan dampak positif dari kontribusi mereka terhadap masyarakat sekitar. Hasil pengabdian masyarakat ini menunjukkan peningkatan pengetahuan dan keterampilan remaja dalam pembuatan sabun padat. Selain itu, melalui produksi sabun padat, komunitas remaja 'Diajeng Sursela' dapat menciptakan sumber pendapatan tambahan yang dapat digunakan untuk kegiatan amal atau pengembangan program lainnya.

Abstract

This research aims to 1) Knowing the career success that has been achieved by graduates in 2023 S1 Cosmetology Education. 2) Knowing the contribution of graduates' GPA in achieving career success in the beauty industry. 3) To find out the relationship between the academic value of graduates in 2023 S1 cosmetology education to career success in the beauty industry. The research approach uses quantitative with a correlation research method that is carried out online without limited time and place by utilizing digital platforms as a means of data collection, the subjects in this study are 35 graduates in 2023 S1 Cosmetology Education. The data collection technique used a likert scale with a questionnaire questionnaire instrument. The data analysis technique used the mean value and Pearson correlation at SPSS 25. The results of the study found that: (1) there are 46% of graduates with the most salary/income category 3 in 2021, which ranges from 5-10 million, compared to category 1 (23%), category 2 (14%) and category 4 (17%). (2) Academic scores based on GPAs obtained by graduates show that 77% of graduates get a GPA of category 4, which ranges from 3.51-4.00 and the remaining 23% get a GPA of category 3, which ranges from 3.00-3.50. (3) there was a very significant relationship between academic grades and graduate career success, with a Pearson correlation of 0.794 (p value = 0.000). Shows that academic grades are significantly related to the success of a graduate's career in the beauty industry. Suggestions for further research to further research related to the development of the beauty industry, new technologies, and other factors that affect the success of graduates' careers.

Abstract

The diversity of tribes and cultures that make prospective brides have choices in determining the bridal makeup that will be used at their wedding. This study is to determine the social environment, marketing techniques, the form of Sundanese Siger veiled bridal makeup, and to determine the dominant factors in consumer decisions in choosing Sundanese Siger veiled makeup in Banyuwangi Regency. This type of research is quantitative with 81 respondents who use Sundanese Siger veiled makeup. The results of this study indicate that the social environment, marketing techniques, and the form of Sundanese Siger veiled bridal makeup influence consumer decisions in choosing Sundanese Siger veiled bridal makeup with a significant value of 0.000 smaller than 0.005. The dominant variable influencing consumer decisions is marketing techniques with a coefficient value of 0.672. The conclusion of this study shows that the decision of prospective brides in choosing Sundanese Siger veiled makeup is influenced by various factors, especially the social environment, marketing techniques, and the form of bridal makeup itself. Of the three factors, marketing techniques are the most dominant factor influencing consumer decisions. This shows the importance of marketing strategies in attracting consumer interest, especially in the Wongsorejo Banyuwangi area.
