Abstract

Geographic Information System is a system created based on the geographic mapping of the earth. This system can provide information about the location of the area or the location of places on the earth's surface, provide information about a location and information about the shortest path from one location to another. The city of Padang Sidempuan currently has many tourist attractions that have a beauty that is not far from other cities, such as Tor Simarsayang, Silima-Lima Waterfall, Aek Sabaon and others. However, currently there is no application that can make it easier for tourists to get information to get to the tourist attractions in question. The Floyd-Warshall algorithm is a method that performs problem solving by looking at the solution that will be obtained as an interrelated decision and will choose the shortest path from several alternative paths that have been generated from the calculation process. In this study using the waterfall research method, android programming language and MySQL database with data as much as 10 tourism points. The final results were tested using the black box testing method, obtained an average accuracy of 90% of the results of the shortest distance from each point and the system can display features, such as tourist data features, tourist facilities, cost estimates, tourist pictures and opening times of the tourist attractions

Abstract

Research on information technology, namely in terms of urban transportation in Medan. This study makes information technology in the form of an android application for customers and drivers which aims to track the location of city transportation using a driver application that is directly connected online with the customer application so that they can see the position of the driver and can also request pick-up at the bus stop. In terms of tracking using GPS (Global Positioning System) while for mapping using Google Maps Api Key. This application uses the design of several Unified Modeling Language (UML) diagrams, including use case diagrams, activity diagrams, sequence diagrams and class diagrams.

Abstract

Goalkeeper is one position in the game of soccer, this position is a very special position in soccer where players who are positioned as goalkeepers are allowed to use all parts of their body. Decision Support System (SPK) is a tool in solving problems that are semi-structured or unstructured. Decision Support System itself has several methods that can help in solving problems. One method is Simple Additive Weighting (SAW). The Simple Additive Weighting (SAW) method is a weighted sum method that is found on all the criteria contained in each object or alternative. This study aims to determine that the Simple Additive Weighting (SAW) method can be applied in a web-based application system that is able to assist the coach in determining the main goalkeeper in soccer.

Abstract

Students in grades 4-5 Elementary School Al-Ikhlas need an Android-based application to find the meaning of the Qur'anic verses to help and make it easier for students to find the meaning of the verses of the Qur'an and do the tasks given by Islamic Religion Teachers. Making the application's search for meaning verses of Qur'an using methods matching string (string matching) that is implemented in the search process said. String matching will perform the search process for a string or several strings found in a text or string. The algorithm used in string matching is berry ravindran, this algorithm has 2 phases, namely the preprocessing phase and the search phase. The phase preprocessing serves to create a shift value that will be used in the search phase. The value of the search phase is obtained from the rules of the algorithm. The Algorithm is berry ravindran implemented to perform analysis string matching in the application of finding the meaning of the verses of the Qur'an. This application to search for the meaning of the verses of the Qur'an can search for the meaning of the verses of the Qur'an by using voice, it is hoped that this voice search feature can facilitate the search for the meaning of the verses of the Qur'an. Speech recognition is implemented using one of the Google Cloud Platforms, namely the Google Speech API to detect spoken words when searching, so that it can make it easier for users to search for the meaning of the verses of the Qur'an. It is hoped that this application can be used as a source of knowledge and useful for grade 4-5 students at Elementary School Al-Ikhlas so that they are more diligent in reading the Qur'an and finding out the meaning of the verse, in order to guide them to the right path to the path that is pleasing to Allah.

Abstract

Meningitis must be detected as soon as possible, just like any other disease, to give the patient the best chance of recovery. Physical examination, symptoms, what is felt, and the suspected tissue particles are all used to establish the diagnosis of Meningitis. If anything unusual happens, we should consult with specialists who are experts in their field to check the facts and situation. However, some people are more sedentary because they don't know how to treat their illness, or because they believe it's just a symptom of a common illness, or because it's expensive to see a doctor. The lack of public awareness in the field of meningitis, as well as the lack of professionals in the field, makes it difficult to treat people with this disease. Given these circumstances, having a Meningitis detection application system that uses the Dempster Shafer technique to diagnose the type of Meningitis disease based on clinical symptoms is very important. The Dempster Shafer approach will be used to create an expert system application, where the results of previous expert system trials including patient symptoms reveal that this system is capable of diagnosing disease based on symptoms, even when the perceived symptoms are ambiguous. To find out the symptoms experienced by the patient. The application will then inform the public about the symptoms experienced by the patient

Abstract

The orphanage is a social welfare institution that has the responsibility to provide services to neglected children, the poor and orphans. Medan City Social Service as a place for social welfare institutions for orphanages in fact has not been able to manage the information optimally. In addition, the development of the orphanage is considered slow because of the lack of information about the location and needs of the orphanage that is presented to the public. The information is limited to brochure advertisements posted on the edge of the city of Medan. Therefore, we need a Geographic Information System (GIS) that is able to manage these data to be more effective and efficient. The application of the system uses the Waterfall development method, built using the PHP programming language, the Google Maps API as a map display and Bootstrap as an interface processor to make it look more attractive and responsive. Geographical Information System Mapping Orphanage Locations in Medan City presents spatial and non-spatial information about 19 Islamic orphanages in the city of Medan.

Abstract

The GPS Lock method and cloud storage can be applied to the field employee activity monitoring application to be a solution in minimizing the frauds that exist in every employee's job in the field. LOCK GPS can lock the location of employees so that employees can no longer commit dishonesty during absenteeism. To make it easier to monitor employee activities remotely, a menu of employee activity uploads will be provided in the form of photos which will later be completed with the date and time automatically. In harvesting data collection or reports of harvest evidence, a menu is provided to upload photos of the weighing process for harvests and weighing results so that there is no more dishonesty in harvesting data collection. The data for this study were collected through observation, interviews, and relevant literature studies such as journals and books. There are two types of data collected: primary and secondary. By using UML, the steps taken to design the database and describe the workflow of the application to be built. At this stage the author creates an interface that is in accordance with the functions required for the application to be built. RAD (Rapid Application Development) is a system development method used in this research. RAD is a fast-adapted version of the waterfall model that uses a component construction approach.

Abstract

The purpose of this study is to optimize the Bantuan Dana Desa Geographic Information System in Deli Serdang district, North Sumatra province using a document-based cloud database or abbreviated as NoSQL. The geographic information system for Bantuan Dana Desa that is designed to store large amounts of data and continues to grow each year as long as the policy on Bantuan Dana Desa continues, a high-performance database is needed to support this system to run well. The research method used is Research and Development (R&D) through the stages of Information Collection, System Design, System Validation, System Improvement and System Production. The results of this study concluded that the use of document-based cloud databases can optimize geographic information systems with large data, document-based databases have high flexibility, scalability and performance compared to other relational databases

Abstract

Student aspirations are various demands that are packaged in students' creative ideas that propose a process of changing something. There is no aspiration complaint service system at the Fakultas Sains dan Teknologi, Universitas Islam Negeri Sumatera Utara. So that students do not have a place to express their aspirations. Along with the development of technology, a web-based student complaint application was made which is equipped with the AES (Advanced Encryption Standard) algorithm which is able to secure student aspiration messages so that the aspiration messages conveyed by students cannot be read by other students, so that student aspiration messages are more confidential. The design and manufacture of this web-based public complaint application uses the waterfall model. The waterfall model begins with the analysis stage, namely by analyzing and collecting data through interviews with students and the Administration of the Faculty of Science and Technology, the system design stage, namely by designing the system interface, the system coding stage, and this stage ends with the system testing stage. Carried out to determine the feasibility of the system.

Abstract

Augmented Reality is a combination of a virtual world (virtual) and a real world (real) created by computers. Virtual objects can be in the form of tests, animations, 3D models or videos that combine with the actual environment so that the user feels the virtual object is in their environment. In Augmented Reality technology, classic vehicle recognition media is an application that uses the markerless method, where in this method later using a marker as a pointer or marker to bring up 3D objects. This application helps users make it easier to find out about classic vehicles in the city of Medan, without having to search the internet and even on other social media. In its use, this application runs on the Android operating system so that it can make it easier for users to access the application.
