Abstract

Profit decline is a frightening problem for service companies. The solution to prevent this is by analyzing data transactions using data mining and forecasting. K-Means used to cluster the level of car damage based on the number of panels repaired and the duration of repaired. The results of K-Means used as material for analysis the best time-series method for transaction data. The methods analyzed include the moving average, single exponential smoothing, double exponential smoothing, and winter's method. Single exponential smoothing is the most suitable forecasting method with transaction data. Based on the MAPE value obtained for minor damage of 12.58%, forecasting for moderate damage of 16.83%, forecasting for major damage of 17.31%, and forecasting for overall data of 8.0975%. It concluded that single exponential smoothing can apply with K-Means clustering and the company can use it to make strategies to prepare the number of workers and production materials required.

Abstract

This article discusses sentiment analysis of the 2024 Presidential Election through data collected from platform X, this research aims to identify and classify positive, negative, and neutral sentiments in X related to the election. This research uses scoring and textblob methods. Where the scoring method is the process of deeply analyzing sentiment and then giving the sentiment value of each data comment and accumulating it. While the textblob method is a tool used specifically for text processing that can provide sentiment for each comment. The results of the analysis provide in-depth understanding of the responses and views of the community manifested in digital space. Sentiment analysis can serve as a guide to understanding the dynamics of public opinion during the election process and its potential to influence public participation and trust in the democratic system. The practical implications of this research include the development of more effective political communication strategies based on an understanding of the sentiments that develop on X.

Abstract

In the digital era, traditional teaching methods often fail to engage students, especially in Pancasila and Civic Education. Lack of understanding of Pancasila values leads to declines in religious, humanitarian, and unity values among students, evidenced by frequent fights and bullying. To address this, an interactive Android-based game, "Cerdas Pancasila," was developed with quizzes and puzzles to enhance students' understanding of Pancasila values. Using the Digital Game-Based Learning (DGBL) method, the study included five phases: analysis, design, development, quality assurance, and implementation. The analysis phase identified the need for engaging educational media for students aged 9 to 12. The design phase outlined instructional goals, and the development phase used Android Studio with Kotlin and Java to create the game prototype, which was distributed as a .apk file in the implementation phase. Quality assurance involved alpha and beta testing, resulting in a 90.2% acceptance rate, with 17 out of 18 students stating the game increased their knowledge about Pancasila.

Abstract

This research aims to optimize the retraining process of face recognition systems for motor vehicle parking areas using Transfer Learning and k-nearest Neighbors (k-NN). The system enhances efficiency by retraining only on new classes, identified by checking the encoding file, allowing it to skip pre-existing classes, thus significantly improving retraining speed. Face data from 100 individuals (2725 images) was collected and augmented, with the VGG16 architecture used to generate face embeddings through Transfer Learning. Achieving 95.62% accuracy, with a precision, recall, and F1-score of 0.96 at k=1, the system demonstrates high accuracy and speed in identifying registered faces while effectively rejecting unknown ones. These optimizations greatly increase the feasibility of face recognition in parking security systems, making them more responsive to new data. Future research should focus on increasing dataset diversity and exploring more complex conditions, such as varied lighting, to enhance system performance and robustness further.

Abstract

Agriculture has been an important part of human life for a long time, with farmers as the main drivers. Farmers often face the challenge of increasing land conversion, especially in West Nusa Tenggara (NTB) with population growth and the need for land for housing, offices, and government facilities. As a result, every year around 10,000 hectares of agricultural land in NTB shrinks from a total of 270,000 hectares, causing an increase in raw material prices, economic decline and loss of farmer jobs. This research aims to develop a Website-Based “Agriplan” Information System to Assist Plant Care, to support the management of narrow agricultural land with access to agricultural information and solutions. Development using Personal Extreme Programming method, with a qualitative approach through observation and interviews, as well as Black Box Testing and User Acceptance Testing. The test results show that 90.04% of this system is effective in supporting sustainable agriculture.

Abstract

The rapid development of information technology has had a considerable impact on the efficiency of education administration, especially in the management of scholarship information. However, many institutions still experience difficulties in handling data and limited access to scholarship information. The purpose of this research is to create a Scholarship Information and Consultation Center website for Straya Institute that can overcome these difficulties through prototyping. The prototyping approach allows for iterative development, ensuring that the system responds to user needs through continuous feedback and revision. The system is intended to facilitate access to scholarship information, program registration, and consultation with users. Evaluation methods include system testing using black-box testing and User Acceptance Testing (UAT), involving administrative and general users. The results showed a high level of user satisfaction (average UAT score of 98.2%), verifying the efficiency, usability, and usefulness of the system. This research advances the field by providing an effective digital solution for scholarship management, improving accessibility, and optimizing administrative operations. Future research could look at other enhancements such as automated scholarship file selection and AI-powered recommendation systems to improve user experience.
