Abstract

Human resources are the most important part to carry out the task and achieve the goal. From the results of employee performance data of the Industry and Trade of Central Java province occurred fluctuation. According to previous researchers factors of work facilities, non-physical work environment and job satisfaction affect employee performance. The purpose of this study to determine the effect of work facilities, non-physical work environment and job satisfaction on employee performanceData collection method used in this research is questionnaires dissemination by using purposive sampling method, the sample used in this research is employees of Industry and Trade Service of Central Java Province as much as 78 respondents who have working period more than four (4) years. This research uses data analysis methods such as validity test, reliability test, classical assumption test, multiple linear regression analysis, coefficient of determination test, F test and t test.The results of this study indicate that work facilities, non-physical work environment and job satisfaction affect employee performance. Adjusted R Square value of 55.2%, which means that performance can be explained by the variable working facilities, non-physical work environment and job satisfaction. The remaining 44.8% can be explained by other variables.

Abstract

Employees are the most important part of the company. Therefore, the company should be able to treat employees properly. However, with the phenomenon of the high turnover in PT Primayudha Mandirijaya indicate that efforts are being made to ensure that the employees remain in the company is still less than the maximum. This study used three independent variabels are the reward system, employee motivation, and organizational commitment with one dependent variabel is employee retention. This study aims to examine and analyze the effect of reward systems, employee motivation, and organizational commitment to employee retention in PT Primayudha Mandirijaya.            Data collection methods used in this study was a questionnaire by using random sampling method. The sample used in this study were jobholder of PT Primayudha Mandirijaya with the number of 83 respondents. This study uses data analysis includes reliability test, validity test, classic assumption test, multiple linear regression analysis, coefficient determination. F test and t test.            The result of this study indicate that variable reward system, employee motivation, and organizational commitment positively influence on the employee retention of PT Primayudha Mandirijaya. These variabels give a contribution of 52.8% of employee retention. The remaining 47.2% is influenced by variables outside of this study.

Abstract

High employee turnover rate may result the organization not effective and eficient. Organization must minimalism turnover intention so organization will not miss the experience employee and no expense useless. This research aims to analyze the influence of job involvement and job satisfaction on turnover intention of employees. This research was conducted in PT. Njonja Meneer Semarang to the number of samples set 101 respondents. The method used is Purposive Sampling and method data anlysis is used multiple linear regression analysis, using SPSS program.The results of  testing hypotesis, shows that job involvement has negative and significant influence on turnover intention of emloyees and Job satisfaction has negative and significant influence one turnover intention of employees. The results of determination are 0,482 indicates that the capability of independent variabels (job involvement and job satisfaction) in explaining the dependent variable (turnover intention) is 48,2%.

Abstract

Problems that occur is the sale of vape with the original brand does not show increase from month to month, exactly in May to July decreased. Though currently vape trend is getting in demand so consumers who are looking for vape pretty much. Based on the results of prasurvey conducted, it appears that the decline in sales is allegedly caused by the strength of the original brand is not very good, the original vape price is considered expensive and the distribution of goods that are less evenly distributed. This study aims to analyze the influence of brand equity, price and distribution of the original vape purchase decision in Semarang.The population used in this study is all Vape consumers in Semarang. The sampling technique used is purposive sampling. Sampling criteria were 96 vape consumer in Semarang. Methods of data collection in this study using questionnaires. Methods of data analysis using multiple linear regression analysis.Based on the results of brand equity, price and distribution have a positive effect on the purchase decision of original vape in Semarang. The original vape purchase decision in Semarang can be explained by brand equity, price and distribution of 81%.

Abstract

The problem that arises in Ken Saras Hospital is a decrease in employee performance which can be seen from the decline in the employee performance index and supported by the results of a survey which states that patients are less satisfied with the services of employees. Variables suspected of influencing employee performance are person-organization fit, workload and transformational leadership. This study aims to analyze the influence of person-organization fit, workload and transformational leadership on the performance of nurses at Ken Saras Hospital.The population and sample used in this study were nurses at Ken Saras Hospital. The sampling technique used is the census. Data collection methods in this study use questionnaires and interviews. Data analysis method uses multiple linear regression analysis.Based on the results of the study, person-organization fit, and transformational leadership have a positive effect on the performance of nurses at Ken Saras Hospital, while the workload has a negative effect on the performance of nurses at Ken Saras Hospital. Employee performance can be explained by the independent variable, person-organization fit, workload and transformational leadership, amounting to 82.2%.

Abstract

The purpose of the study is to answer organizational commitment and job satisfaction influence on performance. The samples were employees of PT. SINAR SOSRO Semarang where the number of samples specified in this study of 81 respondents. As for the methods used in this sampling is to use Purposive sampling, while data analysis method used is linear regression analysis, with the aid of SPSS program.Results of testing of the hypothesis, suggesting that the variables: 1). Organizational commitment has no significant effect on performance, 2). Job satisfaction significant on employee performance. Coefficient of determination results indicate that the ability of small organizational commitment and job satisfaction variables in explaining employee performance variables is very limited.

Abstract

This research aims to determine and analyze factors that affect PT X employee’s organizational citizenship behavior. Job satisfaction and organizational citizenship are used as dependent variables. A high level of job satisfaction and organizational commitment will affect organizational citizenship behavior and the organization goal’s will be achieved.This research uses questionnaire as the data collection method. The research’s population is all of the PT X employee which total is 875 employees. This research uses Slovin Formula to determine the samples, so the samples can be obtained using this formula are 90 employees with confidence level of 0.01. This research uses random sampling as the sampling method.  Data analysis used in this research are validity test, reliability test, classical assumption test, multiple linear analysis, determination coefficient test, F-test, and t test.According to the multiple linear analysis’ result, job satisfaction and organizational commitment has a positive and significant effect on organizational citizenship behavior partially as well as simultaneously. The adjusted R square score is 0,309, so 30,9% organizational citizenship behavior can be explained by job satisfaction and organizational commitment and the remaining 69,1% explained by other variables aside from the research.

Abstract

This study was conducted to determine the effect of variable locus of control, employee engagement and job satisfaction on employee performance. Distributing questionnaires made to employees of PT TASPEN KCU Semarang by respondents as many as 53 employees. The analytical method used are classical assumption test consist of normality test, multicollinierity test, heteroscedasticity test, and multiple regression analysis and hypothesis testing consist of t test and F test with a significance level of 5%. The result of the research simultaneously using F test, showed that the variables locus of control, employee engagement, job satisfaction variables influence significantly toward employee performance. Partially using t test, showed that locis of control and employee engagement had no significant effect on the results of employee performance. Job satisfaction has significant results on the performance of employees. The coefficient of determination (R square) is 0.147 which means variables locus of control, employee engagement and satisfaction performance by 14.7% effect on the performance of employees, while the remaining 85.3% is explained by other variables not included in the research model.

Abstract

Women who decided to work has several reasons, i.e. for self-actualization and help fulfilling the financial needs of the family. However, the number of women who became a manager (non-entrepreneurs) is still small when compared with the number of male leaders. Women who have positions as a leader of a company have more responsibility and perceived as different compared to the regular career woman. The study was conducted to understand how the perception of the employees against their female manager from the standpoint of gender stereotypes.            This study uses a qualitative research as research methods and phenomology as research approach. Samples taken in this study were 8 persons, of whom 1 female General Manager, 1 male manager, and 6 employees of women and men. The interviewees are derived from the same division, in order to maximize the data obtained.            The results of this study include: (1) Female General Manager doesn’t experience discrimination in the work environment caused by gender, (2) leadership effectiveness by the female General Manager rated good by the employees, (3) the leadership style associated with the communal traits adopted General Manager of women (transformational leadership) preferred by employees, and (4) family and communal negative traits possessed by General Manager caused inhabitation for her career development and self development. The study also provides results that (4) the traits related to gender do not affect the outcome of the evaluation and promotion given by the leaders.

Abstract

The study was conducted to determine the student’s motivation and the motivation factors to influence on interest in entrepreneurship. According to the vision and mission of the Faculty of Economics and Business UNDIP, to shape the culture of entrepreneurship we needs to know the motivations of students to further accelerate the establishment of entrepreneurial culture. The target population of this study were students of the Faculty of Economics and Business UNDIP who have taken entrepreneurship courses. The number of samples used was 142 students. This study using a multiple linear regression analysis, where the analysis tool is used to understand the extent of the influence of  risk tolerance, self-efficacy in entrepreneurship, and freedom in the work to student’s interest in entrepreneurship. In addition, this study also used ANOVA as the other analysis tools, ANOVA serves as a different test of variance. This study will analyze the differences between student interest in entrepreneurship with a background of parents who worked as an entrepreneur and non-entrepreneurs. The results obtained indicate that all independent variables has a positive and significant effect on the student’s interest to become an entrepreneur, self efficacy was the strongest variable affecting the interest in entrepreneurship. ANOVA test results for different test of variance showed that there was differences students interest in entrepreneurship among parents who work as entrepreneurs and non-entrepreneurs.
