Abstract

Background: Patients with post CVA have difficulties in carrying out their daily activities because of the limited mobility they experience. These obstacles make them need special attention from their family members. In responding to situations like the above, there are several things that are done by the family, one of which is to seek physiotherapy assistance to reduce the level of immobility of the patient. The purpose of this study was to describe the experiences of families in caring for family members with post CVA. Method: This research method uses a qualitative research method with a case study approach. The selection of participants used a purposive sampling method with three participants. While data collection used semi-structured interviews and documentation, with data triangulation as a test of validity and analyzed using thematic analysis. The data collection tool used was a list of interview questions and a cell phone as a recorder. Results: The results of the study found 4 themes, namely: (1) Family experience in meeting the needs of the elimination pattern, (2) Family experience in fulfilling the family support, (3) Family experience in fulfilling the pattern of nutrition fulfillment, (4) Family experience in meeting the needs of the sleep pattern. Discussion: the efforts of participants as children and husbands who have family members with Post CVA conditions in parenting are quite good. despite facing various difficulties, family members have their own way of dealing with these difficulties, so that Mrs. J has enthusiasm in dealing with the conditions he is experiencing and progressing in his condition or rehabilitation stage.

Abstract

Background: Cardiovascular disease is one of the non-communicable diseases that has a high prevalence in the world. According to WHO (World Health Organization), data the highest cause of death is ischemic heart disease, which is 16%, which caused 8.9 million deaths in 2019. ACS (Acute Coronary syndrome) is one of the main cardiovascular diseases that has a high mortality rate. And is the leading cause of death worldwide. Data reported by the Ministry of Health 2019, stated that the prevalence of ACS (Acute Coronary Syndrome) diagnosed by health workers reached 1,5% of other non-infectious diseases, with a mortality prevalence of 12.9% from other causes of death. One of the alternative procedures for ACS (Acute Coronary Syndrome) patients is the PCI (Percutaneous Coronary Intervention) procedure with the installation of a heart ring or stent. In an explanation by a heart and blood vessel specialist at RSUD dr. Iskak, dr. Arif Wibisono, SP. FIHA said patients who underwent PCI (Percutaneous Coronary Intervention) procedures were heart patients with characteristics of the patient’s condition that did not improve or even worsen. Assume that patients with ACS (Acute Coronary Syndrome) would be better off if a PCI (Percutaneous Coronary Intervention) procedure was performed instead of only being given blood clotting drugs. This study aimed to explore the experiences of ACS (Acute Coronary Syndrome) patients undergoing PCI (Percutaneous Coronary Intervention) procedures. The method used in this research is a qualitative method using a case study research strategy, research by testing the validity of data by triangulating sources and analyzing data using domain analysis. The results of this study obtained 2 themes, 1) anxiety with the sub-theme feeling of anxiety before the PCI procedure, 2) Ease of health facilities with the sub-theme of health facilities obtained.

Abstract

Tobacco use is still an unresolved welfare problem and is still a big problem in the world. The tendency to smoke will increase a person’s risk of developing respiratory, cardiovascular, and cancer. Adolescents are believed to try new things and copy others’ trends and behavior as part of their development stage. Therefore, they have great potential for smoking behavior in their adult life. This program aims to expand the understanding of adolescents living in orphanages about the dangers of smoking and understanding in planning to be smoke-free. We use an active participation method comprising a two-dimensional, colorful booklet as a learning media to deliver our community program. The result of this program is that participants have a moderate understanding of smoking and its complications in the future.

Abstract

The study purpose was to evaluate the effectiveness of murottal Al-Quran Surah Ar-Rahman therapy in stabilizing the hemodynamic status of a patient with cerebrovascular accident (CVA) admitted to the Intensive Care Unit (ICU). Stroke remains one of the leading causes of global morbidity and mortality, with a 70% increase in incidence from 1990 to 2021. Optimal hemodynamic stability, reflected by parameters such as blood pressure, pulse, respiration, oxygen saturation, and mean arterial pressure (MAP), is essential for preventing secondary brain injury. Non-pharmacological interventions, such as spiritual auditory stimulation, have shown potential in supporting physiological recovery. This qualitative case study employed a pre–post test design involving one CVA patient, identified as NY J, aged 50 years, in the ICU. The intervention consisted of murottal therapy of Surah Ar-Rahman for three consecutive days, with each session lasting 16 minutes. Data were collected through non-invasive monitoring of vital signs, family interviews, and medical documentation to evaluate changes in hemodynamic parameters before and after the intervention. Findings revealed marked hemodynamic improvement following the therapy. Blood pressure decreased from 224/127 mmHg (day 1 pre-test) to 176/110 mmHg (day 3 post-test), pulse rate dropped from 111 bpm to 90 bpm, respiratory rate stabilized at 20 bpm, oxygen saturation increased to 99%, and MAP improved from 156 mmHg to 132 mmHg. These results indicate enhanced cardiovascular stability and parasympathetic activation. Murottal Surah Ar-Rahman therapy effectively contributes to hemodynamic stabilization in ICU CVA patients through relaxation mechanisms that support parasympathetic activity. This finding aligns with prior evidence highlighting the therapeutic role of spiritual auditory interventions in critical care.

Abstract

This single case study evaluated the effect of a 30° head-up position on headache and vital signs in a 16-year-old male with mild head injury presenting to the Emergency Department of RSUD Kanjuruhan, Kepanjen (21 June 2025). The non-pharmacological intervention head elevation at ~30° for ~30 minutes per session over one 8-hour shift was monitored pre- and post-session for blood pressure, heart rate, respiratory rate, temperature, oxygen saturation, and pain (Numeric Rating Scale). Serial improvements were observed: blood pressure decreased from 149/90 to 111/84 mmHg, heart rate from 113 to 89 beats/min, SpO₂ increased from 95% to 99%, temperature rose from 35.9 to 36.6 °C, respiratory rate remained stable (20→19/min), and pain declined stepwise (NRS 6→5→4) with subsequent patient report of no headache. Intracranial pressure and cerebral perfusion pressure were not directly measured; inferences about cerebral physiology are therefore indirect and based on hemodynamic and symptomatic trends. Within the constraints of a single-subject design, the 30° head-up position appeared feasible, safe, and clinically useful for symptom relief and physiologic stabilization in hemodynamically stable mild head injury, while warranting caution in patients at risk of reduced MAP/CPP or with cervical contraindications. Larger comparative studies are needed to confirm these effects.

The rapid advancement of information technology has compelled digital marketing companies to enhance efficiency and system integration to improve business performance. PT Imused Satria Muda, a digital marketing company focusing on beauty and herbal product promotion, faces challenges in integrating its information systems across divisions such as advertising, content creation, and customer service. This study aims to formulate an information systems and information technology (IS/IT) strategy aligned with the company’s business strategy using the Ward and Peppard methodology. A descriptive qualitative approach was employed, with data collected through observation, documentation review, and structured interviews. The analysis utilized SWOT, Value Chain, and McFarlan Strategic Grid tools to identify the internal and external conditions of the business and IS/IT environments. The results indicate that PT Imused Satria Muda requires the development of a cloud-based Customer Relationship Management (CRM) system, a Digital Campaign Dashboard, and marketing automation tools to enhance digital campaign effectiveness. The implementation plan is divided into short- and long-term stages over five years, focusing on data integration, information security, and IT human resource competency improvement.
