Abstract

Abstract Has conducted research on the effects of light intensity on the output voltage, current, and power. Research conducted generate data in the form of quantitative and graphs that show a link between the intensity of light, the output voltage, current, and power. The data obtained were used as sources of learning in senior high school (SMA). The implication is capable of enhancing creativity, motivation and learning outcomes of Physics subject of high school students in future studies. Keywords: light intensity, current, voltage, solar panel Abstrak Telah dilakukan penelitian tentang pengaruh intensitas cahaya terhadap tegangan output, arus, dan daya listrik. Penelitian yang dilakukan menghasilkan data dalam bentuk kuantitatif dan grafik yang menunjukkan adanya kaitan antara intensitas cahaya, tegangan output, arus, dan daya listrik. Data yang diperoleh dijadikan sebagai sumber informasi dalam pembelajaran di Sekolah Menengah Atas (SMA). Implikasinya adalah mampu meningkatkan kreativitas, motivasi, dan hasil belajar Fisika siswa SMA pada penelitian selanjutnya. Kata-kata kunci: intensitas cahaya, arus, tegangan, panel surya

Abstract

Abstract This research is about the understanding of junior high school students about heavy metal pollution in air, water, and land. The research was conducted at Labschools Junior High School, Rawamangun, East Jakarta in 2016 with a sample of 125 students taken from proportional random sampling, using correlational survey method. The results of this study obtained three conclusions. There is a positive and significant relationship between: 1) Knowledge of heavy metal contamination in air, water, and land with the character of student in maintaining environmental sustainability with research result correlation coefficient (ry1) equal to 0,643 and its coefficient of determination (r²y1) is 0,413 with regression equation Ŷ = 53,832 + 2.579X1; 2) The students understanding about heavy metal pollution in air, water, and land with the character of students in environmental sustainability with the result correlation coefficient (ry2) of 0.950 and its coefficient of determination (r²y2) is 0.902 with regression equation Ŷ = 9.390 + 0.952X2; 3) Student's knowledge and understanding about heavy metal contamination in air, water, and land together with student character in maintaining environmental sustainability with result correlation coefficient (ry12) equal to 0,950 and its coefficient of determination (r²y12) is 0,903 with regression equation Ŷ = 8,475 + 0.086X1 + 0.938X2. These indicates a change in the character of students in maintaining significant environmental sustainability. Keywords: student character, knowledge, environmental understanding. Abstrak Telah dilakukan penelitian pemahaman siswa SMP tentang pencemaran logam berat di air, udara dan daratan. Penelitian dilaksanakan di Sekolah Menengah Pertama Labschools, Rawamangun, Jakarta Timur pada Tahun 2016 dengan sampel 125 orang siswa yang diambil dari multitage proportional random sampling, dengan menggunakan metode survey korelasional. Hasil penelitian ini mempeoleh tiga kesimpulan. Terdapat hubungan positif dan signifikan antara: 1) Pengetahuan tentang pencemaran logam berat di air, udara, dan daratan dengan karakter siswa dalam menjaga keberlanjutan lingkungan hidup dengan koefisien korelasi (ry1) sebesar 0.643 dan koefisien determinasi (r²y1) sebesar 0,413 dengan persamaan regresi Ŷ=53.832+2.579X1; 2) Pemahaman siswa tentang pecemaran logam berat di air, udara dan daratan dengan karakter siswa dalam keberlanjutan lingkungan hidup dengan koefisien korelasi (ry2) sebesar 0.950 dan koefisien determinasi (r²y2) sebesar 0,902 dengan persamaan regresi Ŷ=9.390+0.952X2; 3) Pengetahuan dan pemahaman siswa tentang pencemaran logam berat di air, udara, dan daratan secara bersama-sama dengan karakter siswa dalam menjaga keberlanjutan lingkungan hidup dengan koefisien korelasi (ry12) sebesar 0.950 dan koefisien determinasi (r²y12) sebesar 0,903 dengan persamaan regresi Ŷ=8,475+0,086X1 + 0,938X2. Hal ini menunjukkan adanya perubahan karakter siswa siswa dalam menjaga keberlanjutan lingkungan cukup signifikan. Kata-kata kunci : karakter siswa, pengetahuan, pemahaman lingkungan.

Abstract

The development of information and communication technology (ICT) in the 21st century makes it easier for students to be more active in the learning process. Physics learning materials are needed to support the problem-based learning process in high school. This study aims to produce e-learning models for problem-based learning on Heat and Thermodynamics topics. The result shows media can be used in learning in high school class XI. We uses the research and development method, with the Dick and Carey model. The study was conducted in a digital media laboratory, Physics Education Department of Universitas Negeri Jakarta from January to June 2018. E-Learning models have been produced for problem-based learning in the topic of Heat and Thermodynamics. This WordPress-based E-Learning model can display physics material enriched with images, graphics, animations, simulations, and videos. Students are facilitated to understand the concepts learned. The e-learning model is equipped with assessment tools that can be used online. Students are facilitated to learn independently without limited space and time. The E-learning model developed was also equipped with discussion groups in the form of chats for all registered users. The media validation obtained the results of system evaluation, content, and e-learning infrastructure with 78.9 points average. The material validation gives an 81.55 rating. Concerning media and material, e-learning media is declared feasible as a medium for self-learning. The e-learning model for problem-based learning is feasible to use to train the ability to critical thinking, creative thinking, collaborative, and communicate for students in high school.

Abstract

This research aims to develop and produce an Android application using a Transformative Learning Strategy as a Distance Learning on static fluid material. The research used Research and Development (R&D) method, which refers to the Dick and Carey model. The instrument was a questionnaire using a Likert scale and analyzed with a continuous line. According to media experts, this Android application had a validation test phase with a successful percentage of 96% according to matter experts and 80%. According to learners, this application trial was conducted to 30 students of class XI MIPA and physics educators/teachers at SMA Negeri 109 Jakarta with a percentage achievement of 77% according to educators and 83.21%. Based on these results, the data showed that the Android application using Transformative Learning Strategy as a Distance Learning on static fluid material is suitable media for learning physics.

Abstract

Based on the results of the distribution of questionnaires to students and interviews with physics teachers, there are two things that the author found. The first is students still have difficulty in determining the direction of Lorentz force and the second is the availibility of tools for Lorentz force practicums at school is still a separate component. So, it is necessary to develop Lorentz force media that can overcome both problems. The purpose of this study is to improve students' cognition through developing Lorentz force tools. The research and development (R&D) of the Borg and Gall model is the methodology applied in this study. The research instrument used was the test instrument. The results of the development of tools is validated by material experts, media experts, and Physics teachers. The validity of the Lorentz force tools is calculated using the product moment formula, reliability is calculated using the KR-20 formula. The results of data analysis in the experimental class, obtained an average score of pretest of 29.17, grooming post-test average of 82.78. From these data, it can be concluded that the development of Lorentz force tools  can improve students’ learning outcomes in the cognitive aspect.BAHASA INDONESIA ABSTRACT: Berdasarkan dari hasil penyebaran angket kepada siswa dan wawancara terhadap guru Fisika ada dua hal yang penulis temukan. Pertama masih ditemukan siswa yang kesulitan dalam menentukan arah gaya Lorentz dan yang kedua KIT praktikum gaya Lorentz yang tersedia di sekolah  masih dalam komponen yang terpisah. Sehingga perlu adanya pengembangan media gaya Lorentz yang dapat mengatasi kedua permasalahan tersebut. Tujuan dari penelitian ini adalah untuk meningkatkan kognitif siswa melalui  pengembangan alat peraga gaya Lorentz. Penelitian dan pengembangan (R & D) model Borg and Gall merupakan metodologi yang diterapkan pada penelitian ini. Instrumen penelitian  yang digunakan instrumen tes. Hasil pengembangan alat peraga divalidasi oleh ahli materi, ahli media dan guru Fisika. Validitas alat peraga gaya Lorentz dihitung dengan menggunakan rumus product Moment, reliabilitas  dihitung dengan menggunakan rumus KR-20. Hasil dari analisis data pada kelas eksperimen, diperoleh skor rata-rata pre-test sebesar 29,17, dan rata-rata post-test82,78. Dari data tersebut dapat simpulkan melalui pengembangan alat peraga gaya Lorentz mampu meningkatkan hasil belajar siswa pada ranah kognitif.

Abstract

Museum is one of public facilities preserving a collection of cultural heritage from the past to the present time which can be also used for learning purposes. This research aims at knowing and describing how a museum can be benefitted as a learning resource. The research was conducted at Museum Fatahillah in Kota Tua, Jakarta. This museum contains a number of prehistoric collection. Three questions were raised in this research: how the Museum organizes the art works, how is the quality and the quantity of the works on the display, and how the museum can be used as a learning resource. The data was collected by using observation, interview, document study techniques and was analyzed qualitatively to answer the research questions. The research findings indicate the Museum has a variety of art collection well organized on display, the collection has cultural value and can be benefitted as a learning resource.

Abstract

This study aims to determine the effect of knowledge on environmental issues and personality (introverts) towards environmentally responsible behavior. The method used in this study is an ex-post-facto study. This study was conducted at SMAN 1 Bekasi, with 40 respondents Students.Research and development has been applied by involving 40 people as sample,each for treatment and control group Instrumet for measuring people knowleage has been developed in true-false format with reability research results revealed that there was significant difference of people knowleage between post and pre-test in treatment group between treatment and control group gain-scores. These indicated that instructional package was able to improve effectively people knowleage abaut natural reasource conservasion.sasi culture has been proven to be one of traditional heritages which influence people way of live howto harmonioussly with nature.it has been also strengthened by a intergrating it with ecological concepts in an intsructional package this product could be disseminated for young generation as what expected by sustainable development, The results of the study show that there is an influence of environmental issues on the personality of environmentally responsible behavior. The conclusion that knowledge of environmental issues is not alone affects the environmentally responsible but also depends on the personality (introvert and extrovert) hali it can also be seen in the findings.

Abstract

Climate change is a phenomenon that discusses in one of the topics of Science (IPA) that could be integrated with biotechnology. The topic might be studied further in terms of ecopedagogy. The purpose of this study was to measure HOTS with the Higher Order Thinking Assessment instrument based on the Environmental Problem of Climate Change (HOTS-AEPCC) and to analyze the relationship between ecopedagogy and biotechnology. The method used in this research was descriptive with the data collection technique using a survey. The results indicated that the students' HOTS scores as measured by HOTS-AEPCC were still in the low category. Therefore, the results of the analysis showed that the topic of biotechnology in science learning was suitable. It assumed that ecopedagogy could combine with biotechnology. This study concludes that the students' HOTS score is still low. Therefore it is necessary to develop science learning oriented to climate change.

Abstract

Hambatan dan Tantangan Profil Penyelenggaraan Pendidikan Kabupaten Biak-Numfor di Era Otonomi Khusus Papua merupakan salah satu kajian yang dilakukan di Kabupaten Biak Numfor Provinsi Papua. Populasi dan sampel dalam penelitian ini adalah tokoh-tokoh kunci yang mengetahui perkembangan pendidikan di kabupaten Biak-Numfor, seperti Kepala Dinas Pendidikan Kabupaten Biak-Numfor,Ketua dan staf Bappeda Biak-Numfor, pengawas dan guru senior yang dipandang penulis memahami situasi dan perkembangan pendidikan di Kabupaten Biak-Numfor. Selain hasil wawancara, penulis juga melengkapi penelitian ini dengan merujuk data sekunder berupa publikasi dari badan pusat statistik setempat sebagai acuan tambahan menganalisis data.Penelitian ini menggunakan metode analisis deskriptif. Metode ini dipilih karena penelitian ini lebih banyak dielaborasi dari informasi yang diperoleh dari para informan kunci yang diwawancarai.Hasil penelitian ini menunjukkan bahwa ada potensi daerah berupa sumber alam dan sumber daya manusia di daerah Biak Numfor yang kurang dimaksimalkan dalam pengembangan bidang pendidikan di kabupaten ini sehingga menimbulkan kendala dalam pengelolaan bidang pendididikan. Seperti, kurangnya guru di berbagai jenjang pendidikan, kurangnya, peningkatan kompetensi guru, rendahnya kesejahteraan guru, lemahnya pengawasan terhadap perkembangan pendidikan di setiap jenjang pendidikan, kurangnya dukungan masyarakat, terbatasnya dukungan sarana dan prasarana pendidikan, pembangunan fisik sekolah yang lebih banyak dari peserta didik, minimnya koordinasi antara pusat.

Abstract

Dengan tujuan mengetahui komposisi dan struktur yang terkandung dalam batuan pegunungan merapi di Daerah Istimewa Yogyakarta dilakukan observasi lingkungan. Ada tiga jenis batuan yaitu batuan merah, hitam, dan putih. Analisis struktur diketahui dengan difraksi sinar-X phillips radiasi Ka Co. Morfologi batuan diamati dengan scanning electron microscope (SEM). Komposisi batuan dengan menggunakan Energy Dispersive X-ray (EDX). Hasil karakterisasi menunjukkan bahwa semua batuan merupakan batuan kristal dengan komposisi fasa yang dominan untuk batuan merah yaitu SiO2, CaCO3, Al2O3, dan S. Sedangkan pada batuan hitam didominasi dengan kandungan SiO2 dan batuan putih dengan kandungan SiO2 dan S. Struktur mikro ketiga jenis batuan ini memiliki bentuk morfologi yang berbeda. Kata Kunci : Batuan pegunungan, batuan merah, hitam, putih, material kristal. In order to know structure and composition of contents in mountain rocks at Daerah Istimewa Yogyakarta, to be done enviorment observation. Three rocks are red, black, and white rocks. The analysis of crystal structures was examined by X-Ray Diffractometer (XRD) Phillips with Ka Co radiation. Morphology of three rocks was studied using a Scanning Electron Microscope (SEM). The composition of mountain rocks was detected by Energy Dispersive X-ray (EDX). The results shows that mountain rocks are crystal materials that phase composition of red rock are SiO2, CaCO3, Al2O3, and S. Black rock is SiO2 as mayor phase and white rock is consist of SiO2 and S. Microstructure of three rocks has the different morphology.
