Abstract

The research in the kiai visionary da'wah strategy is how to take an innovative approach in mobilizing and realizing students to become independent millennial farmers. The lack of studies that examine the integration of da'wah with agricultural economic empowerment among students is one of the gaps in this study. There have been few studies that have explored the role of kiai as an agent of change in addressing the challenges of modern agribusiness today. This research is important for providing an applicable strategic model. The concrete strategies carried out by kiai in realizing millennial farmer students include: first, through the integration of the pesantren curriculum with skills. Second, vocational training programs. Third, partnership programs with external parties. In addition, kiai also implements a learning by doing model so that students are able to implement agricultural science practically. Theoretically, this research contributes to the development of contemporary da'wah theory that integrates spiritual values with agribusiness-based economic empowerment. This study can broaden the understanding that kiai are not only spiritual guides, but also agents of social and economic change. On the other hand, this research also enriches the literature on the visionary da'wah of kiai by emphasizing the aspect of economic independence of students to the needs of the millennial generation in the modern era. Meanwhile, this research can serve as a reference for Islamic boarding schools in designing agriculture-based student empowerment programs aimed at promoting economic independence

Abstract

Objective: Marketing strategies play a crucial role in influencing consumer behavior, and one of the commonly employed techniques is the use of marketing gimmicks. This study aims to analyze the impact of marketing gimmicks on consumer buying interest while examining the values of honesty and consistency in their application from the perspective of Sharia business principles. Theoretical framework: The theoretical framework of this research is based on Islamic business ethics, particularly the principles of honesty (shidq) and consistency (istiqamah) in trade. Literature review: The literature review explores various studies on marketing strategies, consumer behavior, and ethical considerations in business, particularly within the framework of Islamic economics. Methods: This study employs a qualitative field research method. Data collection was conducted through direct interviews with fruit traders and their customers to obtain firsthand insights into marketing gimmicks used in the marketplace. The analysis utilizes an interpretative approach to understand the alignment of these gimmicks with Islamic business ethics. Results: The findings indicate that many fruit traders implement marketing gimmicks that can sometimes mislead consumers, particularly in price determination and product presentation. While these gimmicks effectively attract consumer interest, they often lack transparency, leading to misunderstandings about the actual value of the products. The study highlights that such practices contradict the fundamental Sharia business principles of honesty and consistency, which emphasize truthful representation and ethical sales practices. Implications: The implications of this research suggest the need for increased awareness and education among traders regarding ethical marketing strategies that align with Islamic values. Policymakers and business associations could also play a role in promoting fair trade practices that uphold integrity in business transactions. Novelty: The novelty of this research lies in its integration of Islamic business ethics with modern marketing strategies.

Abstract

Objective: This research aims to reconstruct Ibn Sina's thoughts on basic education through kuttab institutions, and examine its relevance to the development of Islamic educational institutions in Indonesia within the framework of the Sustainable Development Goals (SDGs). Theoretical framework: The theoretical framework of this research uses an approach to Islamic education philosophy, especially Ibn Sina's thoughts on the purpose of education, the stages of learning, and the role of kuttab institutions as the foundation of character and intellectual education. The literature studied includes Ibn Sina's classic works such as Al-Siyasah and Al-Najat, as well as the results of contemporary research on the implementation of Islamic education based on philosophical and spiritual values. Literature review: The main focus is on how the concept of basic education in Ibn Sina's thought can be used as an alternative model to strengthen the quality of Islamic basic education that is inclusive, equitable, and sustainable in Indonesia. Methods: The research method used is a qualitative approach with the type of library research, with content analysis techniques and critical interpretation of primary and secondary texts. Data were collected through a literature review and analyzed hermeneutically. Results: The results of the study show that Ibn Sina's thoughts on kuttab emphasize the importance of morality-based education, intellectuality, and personalization of methods according to the stage of child development. This model is in line with the SDGs indicators, especially the 4th (quality education), 10th (reducing inequality), and 16th (peace, justice, and resilient institutions). Implications: The implication of this study is the need to revitalize Islamic basic education institutions such as kuttab that are oriented to local values and classical philosophies that are relevant to global challenges. Novelty: The novelty of this research lies in the integration of Ibn Sina's classical thought with the paradigm of sustainable development, which has not been widely explored in the study of contemporary Islamic education in Indonesia.

Abstract

Objective: This study aims to analyze the optimization of health insurance programs in Islamic boarding schools through the lens of Maqashid Sharia. Islamic boarding schools (pesantren), as religious-based educational institutions accommodating thousands of students, face various challenges in providing adequate and sustainable health services. The health insurance program initiated by the Health Social Security Administration Agency has emerged as a potential solution to improve health access within these institutions. Theoretical framework: The theoretical framework of this research is built upon the integration of Islamic legal philosophy (Maqashid Sharia) with public policy analysis in health management. Literature review: Previous literature highlights the significance of Maqashid Sharia in evaluating welfare-oriented programs, yet little attention has been paid to health program implementation in faith-based educational institutions. Methods: Using a qualitative method with a descriptive-analytical approach, this study collected data through in-depth interviews with pesantren administrators, students, and BPJS representatives, complemented by document analysis of regulations and policies related to health programs in pesantren. Results: The findings reveal that the health insurance program has brought significant benefits in ensuring access to health services and protecting student welfare, particularly in terms of hifz an-nafs. However, several obstacles remain, including limited awareness among stakeholders, insufficient socialization of the program, and administrative complexities in premium management. From the Maqashid Sharia perspective, the program contributes positively to the protection of life but requires further optimization to align with broader sharia objectives, such as safeguarding wealth and intellect. Implications: The implication of this study emphasizes the need for policy improvements, targeted socialization strategies, and integration of sharia-based health education in pesantren. Novelty: The novelty of this research lies in its interdisciplinary analysis, combining Islamic legal theory with contemporary health program evaluation, which offers a new perspective in the field of Islamic social welfare studies.

Abstract

Objective: Research to determine the effect of the use of Games Quizizz-based applications on students' emotional intelligence in PAI and Al Islam subjects at SD Muhammadiyah PK Palur. Theoretical framework: this research focuses on the theory of emotional intelligence, which emphasizes the importance of students' ability to recognize, understand, and manage emotions in the learning process, as well as game-based learning theory, which is believed to increase student motivation and involvement. Literature review: Previous research has shown that the use of technology-based learning media and interactive games such as Quizizz is able to improve students' material understanding and social-emotional skills, but not many have specifically linked it to increased emotional intelligence in the context of religious education. Methods: This study uses a quantitative approach with a true experimental design in the form of a pre-test and post-test control group design. The sample consisted of two classes, namely classes 1A and 1B which each amounted to 23 students. Data was collected through an emotional intelligence questionnaire using the Likert scale and the score of the Quizizz game, which contained 20 questions from PAI and Al Islam materials with varying levels of difficulty. Results: The study showed that there was a significant influence of the use of the Quizizz application on the improvement of students' emotional intelligence, as evidenced by the results of the t-test, which obtained a calculated t value of 7,803 greater than the t-table of 1,708, and a significance value of 0.00 < 0.05. Implication: This study shows that the integration of game applications such as Quizizz in PAI and Al Islam learning can be an effective strategy for improving students' emotional intelligence from an early age. Novelty: this research lies in the application of game-based learning, especially through the Quizizz platform, which is directly associated with the increase in emotional intelligence in the context of religious education learning.
