Abstract

AbstractThis article describes the philosophical values of supplication (dua) carried out by each business actor and its relation in the context of carrying out islamic economics. As an inseparable part of the survival efforts of a Muslim, islamic economics practices cannot be separated from the ritual of dua as a need to get blessings and happiness in the world and the hereafter. Dua becomes an important element in the implementation of islamic economics in order to minimize the occurrence of behavior deviations, such as dishonesty, selfishness, cheating, and gain profits by justifying any means. An understanding of the philosophical value of dua for a Muslim is required in each of his economic activities, so that he is always aware and remains in the corridor of islamic economics implementation. The study concludes that dua has a philosophical value teaching every Muslim to pray (dua) in their economic activities. Knowledge of the philosophical value of dua in islamic economic practices is important, because religion requires people to remember good attitude and behavior, be honest, willing to work hard and be aware that the ultimate goal of economic activities is intended to get a blessing and happiness in life in the world and the hereafter.Keywords: Philosophical Values, Supplication, Business Actors, Islamic Economics. AbstrakArtikel ini menjelaskan tentang nilai-nilai filosofi doa yang dilakukan oleh setiap pelaku usaha dan relasinya dalam konteks menjalankan ekonomi syariah. Kegiatan ekonomi syariah sebagai bagian tak terpisahkan dari upaya keberlangsungan hidup seorang Muslim tidak dapat terlepas dari ritual doa sebagai kebutuhan untuk mendapatkan keberkahan, kebahagiaan dunia dan akhirat. Doa menjadi unsur penting dalam pelaksanaan ekonomi syariah guna meminimalisir terjadinya penyimpangan perilaku dalam kegiatan ekonomi syariah seperti ketidakjujuran, egois, kecurangan, dan meraih keuntungan dengan menghalalkan segala cara. Pemahaman terhadap nilai filosofi doa bagi seorang Muslim diperlukan dalam setiap kegiatan ekonominya agar selalu sadar dan berada pada koridor pelaksanaan ekonomi syariah yang benar. Hasil kajian ini menyimpulkan bahwa doa memiliki nilai filosofi yang mengajarkan kepada setiap Muslim untuk berdoa di setiap aktifitas ekonominya. Pengetahuan akan nilai filosofi doa dalam praktek ekonomi syariah yang diajarkan oleh agama menjadi penting, karena agama mengajarkan umat manusia selalu ingat kepada sikap dan perilaku yang baik, jujur, mau bekerja keras dan sadar bahwa tujuan akhir dari kegiatan ekonomi tersebut dimaksudkan untuk mendapatkan keberkahan serta kebahagiaan hidup (falâḥ) di dunia dan akhirat.Kata Kunci: Nilai Filosofi, Pelaku Usaha, Doa, Ekonomi Syariah.

Abstract

The change of Islamic government system was begun after the reign of al-Khulafâ’ al-Râsyidûn was completely over. The government system ruled by al-Khulafâ’ al-Râsyidûn democraticly was changed by the next successor of the reign to be monarchy. A caliph was not elected through democratic mechanism anymore, but was appointed by the previous caliph based on lineage. This era was very dynamic in Islamic political history. It was also having long moment and full of intrigues and polemics. The monarchy system ruled by the Umayyad Caliphate was also known by patrimonialism. It was the system of government which assigned a right to the caliph for claiming a state as his ownership and it could be inherited for his relatives, while his people were just considered as his subordinate who need his support and protection. According to this theory, the caliph authority was absolute and could not be interfered by others including constitutional law. The government system of the Abbasid Caliphate was not different from the Umayyad Caliphate. Both were rather similar, but the Abbasid Caliphate had some aspects as its identity. Another example of the government system could be found in Turkey. The Islamic government in there was represented by the Ottoman Empire for hundred years. The dynamics of Islamic politics is always influenced by some interactions of each regime or government, what makes a transition of power and politics so dynamic. Therefore, this article tries to describe how dynamic the governmet system of Islam in its history is.

Abstract

This research concentrates on the analysis of the wisdom quotes compilation within the Qālū wisdom anthology by Anis Mansour. Among other studies on Mansour, examining this anthology of wisdom quotes is significant due to its previously unexplored nature, specifically regarding Mansour's attitude toward women as represented in this work. Utilizing a qualitative descriptive method and bibliographic technique, the study describes data related to women's existence and analyzes the data using Simone de Beauvoir's existentialist feminism approach. The findings suggest that Mansour affirms women's existence through his work by portraying more descriptions of women than men. Through these descriptions, women are shown to have superiority over men, even though in some places they are depicted as inferior. The anthology also discusses marriage, women's character, and women's liberation, which from an existentialist feminist viewpoint aligns with Simone de Beauvoir's perspective.

Abstract

Abstract This research is an analysis of a collection of aphorisms (hikmah) written by Anis Mansour in his book entitled “Qālū” using a qualitative-descriptive type of research with library research methods and existentialist feminism theory from Simone De Beauvoir to understand how gender aspects are affect in viewing and responding to phenomena that occur when the literature was created. The results conclusions that Anies' view of the existence of women can be seen from so many aphorisms who talk about women rather than men, has the impression of praising and privileging women and placing the position of women at the peak of superiority, as well as similarities and differences between Anis and Beauvoir's thoughts on marriage, female character, and women's liberation. This research is a form of contribution in developing literary insight about modern Arabic literature and is expected to be able to add the intellectual treasures in the realm of feminism theory and become a reference for similar research in the future. Keywords: Aphorisms, Existence, Feminism, Superiority, Women Abstrak Penelitian ini berupa analisis kumpulan kata mutiara (hikmah) yang ditulis oleh Anis Mansour dalam bukunya yang berjudul “Qālū” menggunakan jenis penelitian kualitatif-deskriptif dengan metode library research dan teori feminisme eksistensialis dari tokoh Simone De Beauvoir untuk memahami bagaimana aspek gender dipengaruhi dan mempengaruhi dalam memandang dan merespon fenomena-fenomena yang terjadi saat sastra tersebut diciptakan. Dengan hasil dan kesimpulan bahwa pandangan Anis tentang eksistensi wanita terlihat dari begitu banyaknya kata mutiara yang membahas tentang wanita daripada pria, memiliki kesan memuji dan mengistimewakan wanita, menempatkan posisi wanita di puncak superioritas meskipun kadang pula di titik inferioritas, serta persamaan dan perbedaan pemikiran Anis dengan Beauvoir tentang pernikahan, karakter wanita, dan pembebasan wanita. Penelitian ini sebagai bentuk kontribusi dalam mengembangkan wawasan kesusastraan seputar sastra Arab modern dan penelitian ini diharap mampu menambah khazanah intelektual dalam ranah teori feminisme serta menjadi acuan penelitian sejenis di waktu yang akan datang. Abstract

This study investigates the need for an educational model that bridges traditional pesantren cultural values with the demands of 21st-century education. The research addresses the gap in current educational practices that often neglect integrating character-based Islamic values with contemporary life skills and technological competence. Researchers used a qualitative research approach in field studies. Data collection used observation, in-depth interviews, and documentation. Data validity was ensured through source, methodological, and time triangulation. Then, the data were analyzed using Miles, Huberman, and Saldana's (2014) interactive model, consisting of data condensation, data display, and conclusion drawing. The findings of this study lie in its innovative approach to integrating traditional pesantren values with modern 21st-century skills, focusing on character building, practical life skills, and the use of information and communication technology (ICT) to improve educational outcomes. This integration aims to create a holistic and relevant education model for contemporary times.

Abstract

This study aims to identify and analyze morphological errors found in students’ weekly insha’ writings within the Pesantren (Islamic boarding school) environment. These errors, especially in derivation (ishtiqāq) and verb conjugation (taṣrīf), indicate limited consolidation of essential sharf principles. Despite the consistent implementation of weekly insha’ activities, dominant error patterns persist, revealing a gap between morphological theory and actual language use. Data were collected from students’ written works, semi-structured interviews with teachers and learners, and classroom observations to capture the teaching learning context. A qualitative content analysis was applied using a deductive-inductive coding process to classify errors into categories such as incorrect fi‘l forms, wazn inconsistencies, and misuse of ism patterns violating sharf rules. A morphological error-tracking matrix was designed to map and interpret these morphological deviations systematically. The findings demonstrate that limited contextual reinforcement and lack of applied practice contribute to recurring errors. Consequently, this study highlights the need to reorient sharf instruction toward integrative and practice-based approaches, with the morphological error-tracking matrix serving as both diagnostic and pedagogical innovation.

Abstract

Produk terjemahan Al-Qur’an Yayasan Tauhid Indonesia (YATAIN) menghasilkan terjemahan yang berbeda dengan terjemahan Mayoritas Muslim indonesia yang diwakili terjemahan Al-Qur’an oleh kementerian agama. Fokus penelitian ini diarahkan pada model terjemahan  yang menggunakan pendekatan faham inkar sunnah. Penelitian ini menggunakan teori intertekstualitas untuk menganalisis keterkaitan dan perbedaan antara produk tafsir Al-Qur’an kelompok inkar sunnah Indonesia (lokal) dengan kelompok terjemahan ahlu qur’an (global). Metode penelitian ini menggunakan metode kualitatif deskriptif dengan pendekatan studi teks. Data utama diperoleh dari terjemahan kelompok Inkar sunnah Indonesia yang dipelopori Nazwar Syamsu dan Minardi Mursid dengan terjemahan Ahlul-qur’an global. Analisis dilakukan dengan membandingkan terjemahan kata kunci tertentu seperti kata “sama’/langit” dalam konteks pengetahuan lokal dan global. Peneliti juga mempertimbangkan latar belakang sosio-kultural para penerjemah, metode terjemahan yang digukan dan dampaknya terhadap pemahaman pembaca. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan adanya perbedaan signifikan dalam pendekatan terjemahan. Nazwar Syamsu dan Minardi Mursid cenderung menggunakan metode tafsiriyah dengan konteks ilmiah modern. Sementara terjemahan ahlul-Qur’an global lebih condong pada pendekatan literal. Walaupun sama-sama penganut paham inkar sunnah, keterkaitan intertekstual kedua karya hampir tidak ditemukan. Penelitian ini memberi wawasan baru tentang bagaimana latar belakang penerjemah dan konteks pendekatan yang berbeda mempengaruhi hasil suatu produk terjemahan tertentu

Abstract

This study examines the influence of assets and sales on the capital structure of the Husnul Khotimah Islamic boarding school cooperative using panel data from four business units between 2020 and 2023 (164 observations). Chow and Hausman tests confirm the Fixed Effect Model as the best specification. The findings show that assets of the HK Putra, HK Putri, and Economic Division units significantly affect capital, whereas the Pancalang unit’s assets do not. Regarding sales, only the HK Putra and Pancalang units exhibit significant effects on capital. Simultaneously, all independent variables significantly influence capital, supported by an Adjusted R² of 0,842, indicating that asset structure and sales performance are key determinants of capital strengthening in pesantren cooperatives. The study contributes to the global literature by offering empirical insights into how Islamic, community-based microeconomic institutions manage capital formation under limited external financing. This adds a new dimension to discussions on Islamic cooperative finance and the resilience of faith-based economic entities. Future research directions include: developing alternative Sharia-compliant capital models for pesantren cooperatives; conducting comparative studies with conventional cooperatives; incorporating profitability, efficiency, and risk-management variables; and examining the role of digital sales transformation in enhancing cooperative capital.
