Abstract

Mushrooms are eukaryotic organisms with spores, without chlorophyll that reproduce sexually and asexually, mushrooms can be used by humans as food ingredients and ingredients for traditional and modern medicine. The purpose of this study was to determine the type and habitat characteristic of macroscopic fungi conducted in the kateri procted forest area Malaka Regency. Using exploration and  identification methods where the plant identification process is a process of matching a plant according to a particular taxonomi  on each research transect line. There are 28 species of macroscopic fungi namely Dacrymyces stilatus, Auricularia auricula-judae, Xylaria hypoxylon, Daldinia concentrica, Microporus xanthopus, Earliella scabrosa, Pycnoporus sanguineus, Polyporus alveolaris, Lentinus squarrosulus, Hexagonia tenuis, Trametes pubescens, Tyromyces chioneus, Marasmius oreades, Marasmius haematocephalus, Baespora myosura, Marasmius rotula, Marasmius andorsaceus, Trogia infundibiliformis, Leucocoprinus brebissonii, Lepiota helveola. Agaricus micromegathus, Bolbitius vitelinus, Mycena albicocapilaris, Crepidotus variabilis, Parasola plicatilis, Coprinopsis fragilisimus, Lycoperdon pyriforme, Pleurotus djamor. Divided into 5 Orders namely Dacrymycetales, Auriculariales, Xylariales, Polyporales, Agaricales. And 12 family namely Dacrymycetaceae, Auriculariaceae, Xylariaceae, Polyporaceae, Marasmiaceae, Agaricaceae, Bolbitiaceae, Mycenaceae, Crepidotaceae, Psathyrellaceae, Schizophyllaceae, Pleurotaceae. The most abundant habitat Characteristics were on rotten wood branches as many 9 species, on dead  wood stem many as 8 species, in leaf little many as 4 species and in soil with hums many as 7 species.

Abstract

Aquaponics is an agricultural system that combines fish farming (aquaculture) with soilless plant cultivation (hydroponics), which mutually support each other and provide dual benefits. When compared to conventional agricultural cultivation, aquaponics offers advantages in terms of efficient water use, minimal use of chemical fertilizers, and high yield productivity. The purpose of this community service is to provide training and mentoring in aquaponic cultivation systems to the Ani'fu farmer group in Fatuneno Village. The activity methods include site observation, preparation (aquaponic tools and materials), training, mentoring, and evaluation. The results obtained after the activity are that partners become aware of aquaponic technology, meet community needs, and provide economic impacts (savings on food expenditure or additional income from harvests). The application of aquaponic cultivation provides tangible results in increasing the knowledge and skills of partners, thereby greatly supporting food independence and enabling the development of new businesses for the local community.

Abstract

Green synthesis strategies offer a sustainable approach for preparing semiconductor photocatalysts with tunable properties. In this study, ZnO particles were synthesized using shallot peel extract, and their structural, morphological, optical, and photocatalytic properties were systematically investigated. Structural characterization by Raman spectroscopy and X-ray diffraction confirmed the formation of phase-pure wurtzite ZnO, with crystallite sizes in the nanometer range. Scanning electron microscopy revealed hexagonal rod-like morphologies with dimensions of 1–2 μm, which are interpreted as polycrystalline assemblies of aggregated nanocrystallites. Optical analysis using UV–Vis diffuse reflectance spectroscopy showed a direct bandgap of 3.02 eV and additional visible-light absorption, which may be associated with defect states and possible extrinsic contributions. Photoluminescence spectroscopy exhibited green emission attributed to intrinsic defects. The photocatalytic performance of the synthesized ZnO was evaluated through the removal of Rhodamine B under irradiation, achieving a maximum removal efficiency of 97.68% within 150 min. Kinetic analysis indicated that the process follows a pseudo-first-order model with an apparent rate constant of 0.0290 min⁻¹. The observed photocatalytic performance may be associated with the structural and optical characteristics of the synthesized ZnO. However, the specific roles of these factors, as well as the contribution of adsorption, cannot be conclusively distinguished in the absence of a control sample. Overall, this study provides insight into the relationship between synthesis conditions and the resulting properties of green-synthesized ZnO, while highlighting the need for further investigation to clarify the underlying mechanisms. This work demonstrates that shallot peel extract is an effective and environmentally benign capping agent for engineering ZnO photocatalysts with high efficiency for wastewater treatment applications.

Abstract

Bu’at merupakan objek wisata bernuansa alam yang berada di pusat Kota Soe Kabupaten TTS. Sebagai bagian dari kawasan konservasi, keanekaragaman jenis tumbuhan yang ada di Bu’at dijaga kelestariannya untuk tetap mendukung suasana keindahan alam. Kegiatan ini bertujuan untuk mendata dan memasang papan nama tumbuhan yang ada di Taman Wisata Buat. Metode pelaksanaan yang digunakan yaitu eksplorasi, identifikasi dan dokumentasi. Hasil eksplorasi dan identifikasi telah diketahui sekitar 27 jenis tumbuhan disekitar area jalajah taman wisata Bu’at yang termasuk dalam 16 kelompok famili tumbuhan dengan didominasi oleh tumbuhan dari famili Fabaceae. Kegiatan pemasangan papan nama tumbuhan diharapkan dapat menjadi sarana edukasi tentang kekanekaragaman hayati tumbuhan bagi mayarakat pengunjung Taman Wisata Buat.
