Abstract

Nowadays, the issue of national personality that is fading away and far from being noble is echoing again, this is triggered by various incidents in Indonesian society. Personality seems to be experiencing complex and complicated problems. So the contribution of Islamic Education which is a field of science that studies humans with various aspects is required to be present in this realm. Why is that because Islam is the religion of Allah which was revealed to the Apostles as Allah's guidance and grace for mankind, which guarantees the welfare of his material and spiritual, worldly and spiritual life. Islamic education is in trouble. The acceptance of the dichotonomic principle between the religious sciences and the general sciences is an indication of the fragility of the philosophical basis of Islamic education. This dichotonomy is clearly seen in the dualism of the education system in Muslim countries, including Indonesia. In fact, Islamic education wants education to be able to stimulate humans to think independently in order to face a good and happy life. This is the essential meaning of the prophet Muhammad SAW's prophetic mission, namely to educate humans, lead to the path of Allah SWT, and teach to uphold a healthy, prosperous, material, spiritual, just, and harmonious society. Prophet Muhammad SAW was sent to develop the quality of human life, purify morals and equip him with the provisions needed to face life in this world and the hereafter. The greatest mission of the Prophet Muhammad SAW was to perfect human morals, which basically means that humans have a healthy soul and personality, Al-Qur'an mentions the Prophet Muhammad SAW as the best example in this regard. So to achieve this direction requires a good and simultaneous strategy

Abstract

This study aims to determine leadershipPrincipals in developing character education in Madrasah Ibtidaiyah Negeri 2 Mataram City and the factors that become obstacles for Principals in developing character education in Madrasah Ibtidaiyah Negeri 2 Mataram City. The research approach used in this research is a qualitative approach. The research subjects were the principal, teachers and students. Determination of research subjects is done by using a purpose sampling technique. Data collection techniques were carried out using interviews, observation, and documentation. This type of data analysis uses the Miles and Huberman model, namely data reduction, data display, and conclusion drawing/verification data. The principal's role as a leader in the school is in the form of conducting continuous guidance in the development of education, namely: first, character modeling, the madrasa principal encourages all teachers and administrative staff to be good character models for all students. second, teaching (teaching), regular and continuous communication with madrasa residents regarding the realization of character education in madrasas. third, good character strengthening (reinforcing) for all school members (teachers, students, and administrative staff). Abstract

This article focuses on exploring the contents of the book Ta'lim al-Sibyan Bighayat al-Bayan by Tuan Guru Haji Muhammad Shaleh Hambali Bengkel on the concept of educational planning. This article also aims to find a model for the concept of planning Islamic education, with the hope that it can be useful for management and management of Islamic education. This research is a study of the thoughts of figures using library theory or library research, using a historical approach, with data collection methods in accordance with the type of research, namely library research. The data analysis in this study uses the interpretation method (text interpretation), it can also be translated using the text of the book as a research field, in this case the book Ta'lim al Sibyan Bighayati al Bayan which specifically shows the concept of educational planning. From this research, it has been found that 1) the concept of teaching staff planning, curriculum planning and financial planning; The contemporary context that planning is integrated with national ideals, namely building intellectual intelligence and moral intelligence through a planned curriculum and realistic funding.

Abstract

Difference is a necessity that Allah created. Humans on this earth are created differently to get to know each other, understand each other's differences and as a test for us who are destined to live in a multicultural society. Lately we are often faced with problems of intolerance that occur, one of which is due to the maturity attitude of some people in responding to differences, especially in terms of religious pluralism. This paper will explain about pluralism according to Sayyid Qutb's interpretation in the book Tafsir Fi Zhilal Al-Qur'an in Surah Al-An'am verse 108. The research methodology used is the Qualitative Descriptive Method, namely by collecting, describing and analyzing data descriptively for get explanations that lead to conclusions. The results of this research are that as believers, we are asked to maintain our individual personalities, always do good deeds, maintain monotheism and respond to differences with maturity and avoid mutually criticizing behavior among other religious groups. This is intended so that security and peace on this earth are well maintained

Abstract

One of the great thinkers in the contemporary era is Muhammad Syahrur, a Syrian liberal Islamic figure. Through his controversial works, al-Kita>b wa al-Qur’a>n: Qira>’ah Mu’a>shirah, (al-Kitab and al-Qur’an: a Contemporary Reading) Syahrur introduces a new theory of Quranic interpretation, called as the theory of limits. He asserts that the theory of limits is an approach within ijtihad (individual interpretation) to study the muhkama>t verses (clear and direct verses of law) of the Qur’an. The term limit (h}udu>d) used by Syahrur refers to the meaning of “the bounds or restrictions of God which should not be violated, contained in the dynamic, flexible, and elastic domain of ijtihad.”. By using the descriptive-analytical method, the article is talking about the contribution of the theory of limits in qur’anic interpretation that makes significant contributions to the enhancement of Qur’anic studies.

Abstract

Tulisan ini bertujuan untuk menepis anggapan sebagian orang tentang sistem pendidikan madrasah yang ketinggalan zaman dan tidak bisa menjawab tantangan di era globalisasi seperti sekarang ini. Seiring dengan kemajuan perkembangan zaman, pendidikan madrasah kini menghadapi berbagai macam permasalahan yang berakibat pada kurangnya kepercayaan sebagian masyarakat atas pengelolaan pendidikan sehingga dipandang sebagai pendidikan kelas dua (second claas). Prof. Dr. H. Ayzumardi Azra, M.A berpendapat bahwa pesantren sebagai bagian dari yang tidak terpisahkan dengan pendidikan Nasional telah diakui perannya sebagai salah satu agen perubahan sosial. Analisis tulisan ini terfokus pada kurikulum pendidikan madrasah di pesantren yang fokus kajiannya adalah apakah pendidikan madrasah di Pondok Pesantren Nurul Haramain NW bisa menjadi salah satu alternatif sistem pendidikan nasional? Metodologi yang digunakan adalah observasi dan dokumentasi, yakni dengan melakukan wawancara kepada pimpinan pesantren, beberapa guru, santri dan alumni di lingkungan pesantren tersebut dan juga mengumpulkan dokumen-dokumen, baik berupa tulisan atau gambar yang memiliki relevansi terhadap penelitian ini. Tulisan ini mencoba untuk memberikan tawaran agar kurikulum madrasah di pesantren bisa dijadikan sebagai alternatif sistem pendidikan nasional di kemudian hari.

Abstract

Tulisan ini merupakan hasil membahas terkait Sosio-Kultural dan Religiusitas dalam Gerakan Pendidikan Islam Tuan Guru Haji Muhammad Zainuddin Arsyad dan mengungkap risalah perjuangan dan perkembangan Yayasan Maraqitta’limat yang merupakan sebuah yayasan sekaligus Lembaga Sosial yang tumbuh dan berkembang di daerah pedesaan, daerah yang tergambar serba sederhana, terbelakang dan bersahaja. Karena lembaga tersebut muncul dengan segala kepeduliannya terhadap kondisi masyarakat pada saat itu yang masih belum mengenal ajaran Islam secara utuh. Tuan Guru Haji Muhammad Zainuddin Arsyad selain dikenal sebagai ulama’ sufi beliau juga dikenal sebagai tokoh pembaharu dengan merintis atau mendirikan Yayasan Maraqitta’limat sebagai wadah untuk berjuang mensyiarkan agama Islam di pulau Lombok. Dalam Kiprah dan Perkembangan Yayasan Maraqitta’limat yang dikembangkan antara lain; Bidang Organisasi, Pendidikan, Dakwah, Sosial dan Ekonomi yang berbasis pada kebutuhan masyarakat serta Sebagai wujud Yayasan Maraqitta’limat telah memberikan kontribusi bagi pemerintah dalam meningkatkan indeks pembangunan manusia di Nusa Tenggara Barat.

Abstract

The tèngka tradition that became one of Madura’s social norms containsbehavioural values and is still inherent in their social life. They believethis tradition has created a peaceful, harmonious, humorous society. Thispaper aimed to reveal the values of socio-religious education containedin the tradition and how the internalization process is strongly internalizedinto the lives of the Madurese people. This study uses qualitative methodsand data collection techniques in the form of interviews research with observations, documentation, interviews and literature studies. Thisstudy found that the tradition of tèngka did have wisdom values that areimportant to preserve, mainly as it contained Islamic teachings among thevalues of tèngkawere at-ta’âwun (mutual assistance), cooperation, socialcare, and hospitality. This study also concluded that as local wisdom, thetèngka tradition has a contributive value in the social life of the Maduresepeople, especially in creating a peaceful, harmonious, and prosperous society.This tradition survives and develops because members of the communitycarry out the process of internalization to the next generation in a personal-cognitive recognition, they also carried out in a collective-empirical-recognitionway, and finally by incidental-delegation. There are two crucial implications of this study. First, this study provides an overview of socio-religious values in the tèngka tradition as one of the local wisdom of the Madurese people. Second, this study provides an overview of the pattern of preserving local wisdom in globalization.

Abstract

This study aims to explore various values of Islamic teachings that can be used as a code of ethics for dakwah on social media through the study of the Qur'an, Surat an-Nisa, verses 148–149 in Tafsir al-Azhar by Buya Hamka. This is a qualitative study conducted in the form of library research. The primary data sources used are the Qur'an and Buya Hamka's Tafsir al-Azhar. While the secondary data sources used are various scientific journals relevant to the study's main topic, This research includes conceptual research with a philosophical-normative approach. While the nature of this research approach is descriptive-analytical and prescriptive, The results of this study show that there are various values in Islamic teachings that can be used as ethical values for dakwah on social media. These ethical values prioritize language politeness in dakwah by implementing the Qawlan Layyinan concept with courtesy and courtesy without displaying violence and hatred to the community, having a good and beautiful temperament in both speech and deeds

Abstract

Education becomes an essential part of the lives of students, especially in character education. Because character education will be the ultimate goal desired by teachers and their parents at home, so it is necessary to strengthen character education in schools tarbiyatus sibyan, especially in diniyah madrasahs that teach Islamic sciences. In Pamekasan there is a diniyah madrasa called tarbiyatus sibyan by always strengthens character education for its students by strengthening the lessons of moral creeds in theoretical and practical forms. So this will make the students have commendable traits and behaviors. One of the methods used in this study is field qualitative research with the type of case study research. Where researchers carry out 3 data collection techniques, observation, interviews and documentation while the data analysis techniques use data reduction, data presentation, drawing conclusions and data verification. So this study presents the findings of the study; the first result, Strengthening character education through moral academia lessons in the formation, transformation, transmission and development of the potential of the learners. The Second result, Implementation of strengthening character education through Akidah akhlak lessons through congregational prayer activities, learning the yellow book and exemplary attitudes and habituation to students.
