Abstract

Penelitian ini membahas pentingnya pemahaman ayat-ayat kauniyah dalam Al-Qur’an melalui pendekatan tematik berbasis bahasa Arab dan relevansinya pada era sains modern. Kajian ini dilatarbelakangi oleh kebutuhan untuk mengintegrasikan nilai-nilai agama dan prinsip-prinsip ilmiah dalam pendidikan Islam, sekaligus menjawab kesenjangan antara teori dan praktik yang selama ini masih terbatas pada kajian deskriptif. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk menganalisis bagaimana pendekatan tematik yang menggunakan bahasa Arab dapat meningkatkan pemahaman mendalam tentang ayat-ayat kauniyah dan mendukung penguatan literasi sains yang kontekstual dengan perkembangan teknologi dan globalisasi. Menggunakan metode studi pustaka dengan teknik analisis isi terhadap literatur dan artikel ilmiah yang terbit dalam sepuluh tahun terakhir, penelitian ini menemukan bahwa pendekatan tematik berbasis bahasa Arab memberikan pemahaman yang lebih mendalam terhadap ayat-ayat kauniyah serta mampu memperkuat integrasi ilmu agama dan sains. Temuan ini menunjukkan bahwa pendekatan tersebut relevan untuk diterapkan dalam pembelajaran di lembaga pendidikan Islam sebagai upaya meningkatkan sinergi antara nilai-nilai keislaman dan literasi sains. Kesimpulan dari penelitian ini menyatakan bahwa penggunaan pendekatan tematik berbasis bahasa Arab dapat menjadi solusi strategis dalam memperkuat literasi sains sekaligus menjaga keautentikan pesan keagamaan, serta menjadi kontribusi nyata bagi pengembangan kurikulum dan strategi pengajaran yang lebih holistik dan kontekstual.

Abstract

This study analyzed the collective identity construction of Pitu Ulunna Salu (PUS) in strengthening peacebuilding efforts in Mamasa, West Sulawesi. The reconstruction of PUS became a peace mission doctrine that reshaped public perceptions of brotherhood and harmony after the regional expansion conflicts, which had triggered ethnic and religious disintegration. The research employed a qualitative case study design, collecting data through in-depth interviews and secondary sources. The findings showed that the reconstruction of PUS cultural identity, as part of the historical alliance of traditional institutions served as a catalyst for reconciliation and conflict mitigation in Mamasa. The community’s adherence to traditional values and communal leadership was instrumental in maintaining social harmony, while youth were playing a pivotal role in the ongoing transformation of conflict. This study introduced a conceptual model of Cultural Identity-Based Peacebuilding, which integrated three key elements: traditional authority, collective memory, and youth participation. The model explained how indigenous identity reconstruction functioned not only as cultural preservation but also as a strategic sociopolitical mechanism for sustainable peace. The novelty of this research lay in framing local identity as an active agent in transforming post conflict societies rather than as a passive cultural symbol. A deeper understanding of PUS identity formation enabled the effective application of regional identity in peace processes, enhancing the sustainability of reconciliation. This study provided an empirical and theoretical contribution by bridging indigenous knowledge and contemporary peace studies, offering a replicable model for other multicultural post-conflict contexts.  Keywords: Conflict Reconciliation, Pitu Ulunna Salu, Social Construction, Peacebuilding

Abstract

This research aims to how to provide learning media development with Adobe Flash multimedia assistance in improving the achievement of elementary school students with improved learning in class VI Inpres Elementary School Complex BTN Pemda Makassar. The problems faced are how the description, design, validity and level of effectiveness in the development of learning media to improve learning achievement assisted by Adobe Flash products for grade VI students of Inpres Elementary School Complex BTN Pemda Makassar. This type of research is research and development for learning purposes. The development procedure refers to the 4-D model of Thiagarajan and Semmel (1974) which is adapted to 3-D. The data analysis technique in this study is Single group with pretest-posttest. The subject of this research is a subject matter expert of 1 person. Data collection techniques using interview, questionnaire and test techniques. The data analysis technique used in this research is qualitative with the research method using a qualitative descriptive approach and descriptive statistical analysis which prioritises data that is quality, statistical, subjective, and phenomelogical to produce conclusions. The results of this study indicate that the learning media for elementary school students of Inpres Kompleks BTN Pemda Makassar assisted by Adobe Flash application is in the category of very valid and very practical, so it is feasible to use on improving student achievement in elementary schools with the value of each stage of defining (Define) with a total score of 85 with an average score of 4 valid and 5 very valid. Furthermore, the planning stage (Design) for the recapitulation of the results of the RPP validation, the total score was 24.7 with an average score of 5 very valid and for the recapitulation of the LKS results with a total score of 64 with an average score of 4 valid and 5 very valid. Then the development stage (Development) for validation of student activities with a total score of 74.8 with an average of 5 very valid. As well as student learning outcomes for the percentage of completeness of learning outcomes with a total score of 93% complete and 7% incomplete. The research findings show the suitability of the Adobe Flash application designed as a learning tool to improve student achievement.

Abstract

Penelitian ini berfokus pada analisis fungsi sosial, budaya, dan keagamaan dari tradisi Mappadendang yang jalankan Suku Bugis di Kelurahan Wattang Bacukiki. Masyarakat setempat menjalankan Tradisi Mappadendang dua kali setahun sebagai bentuk syukur atas hasil panen. Artikel ini menggunakan metode kualitatif melalui observasi dan wawancara mendalam. Artikel ini mengaplikasikan teori Adaptation, Goals Attainment, Integration, dan Latency Fungsional Struktural Talcott Parsons. Hasilnya menunjukkan masyarakat Wattang Bacukiki secara kultural mengadaptasi tradisi untuk mempertahankan fungsi dan nilai kulturalnya di tengah perkembangan zaman. Tujuan fungsi tercapai karena kohesi sosial, nilai budaya, dan aspek keagamaan tercapai. Ritual Mappadendang berhasil terintegrasi dengan aspek keagamaan, terbukti dengan masyarakat Wattang Bacukiki berhasil menjadikan tradisi menjadi sarana keselamatan, silaturahmi, dan pemeliharaan hubungan sosial yang harmonis. Kemudian mereka juga berhasil melakukan perbaikan pola atas tradisi tanpa mengurangi nilai kultural sehingga tradisi ini dapat bertahan dan dapat terlaksana secara simultan di Watan Bacukiki. Artikel ini menggarisbawahi pentingnya dukungan berkelanjutan dari masyarakat dan pemerintah lokal untuk memastikan pelestarian nilai-nilai lokal tradisi Mappadendang dan mendukung penuh Pembangunan Kebudayaan khususnya di Sulawesi Selatan.

Abstract

Aquaculture activities produce organic wastes that are discharged into coastal waters and may impact the water quality. This research aimed to study the status of organic pollution and its spatial distribution on the west coast of South Sulawesi, Indonesia. Water was sampeld from two locations (Punaga Village, Takalar Regency (an open water system), and Bojo Village, Barru District (in a bay, a semi-closed water system)). Water quality was assessed by using the STORET index. Whilst to assess the spatial distribution of organic waste, an interpolation technique was used. Results showed that the water quality was categorized as highly polluted by organic pollution. The distribution of the organic pollutant, however, showed a different spatial pattern between the two locations. The difference was may be due to the different origin of the pollutant and geomorphology of the sampling locations.
