Abstract

Keterbatasan modal, sumber daya manusia, serta tata kelola keuangan yang minim adalah masalah yang sering dihadapi dan dapat menurunkan daya saing antar UKM. Pengabdian kepada masyarakat (PkM) ini dapat memberikan dukungan kepada UKM Cath’s Beauty House untuk mempermudah pencatatan transaksi keuangan yang baik dengan memanfaatkan teknologi web-based. Metode pengumpulan data penelitian ini menggunakan wawancara dengan pemilik, observasi, perancangan, dan simulasi. Sistem akuntansi ini mampu menghasilkan beberapa fungsi seperti mencatat transaksi pembelian, penjualan, penerimaan dan pengeluaran kas. Hasil output penelitian ini berupa sistem pencatatan akuntansi berbasis website yang menghasilkan pencatatan transaksi jurnal, laporan pembelian, laporan pengeluaran, laporan laba rugi, dan laporan posisi keuangan bagi UKM Cath’s Beauty House. Dengan adanya sistem pencatatan akuntansi ini, perhitungan keuangan UKM Cath’s Beauty House menjadi lebih cepat, mudah dan akurat.

Abstract

This PKM activity is carried out with the aim of helping one of the MSMEs in Batam in designing a financial recording system that is in accordance with the wishes of MSMEs so that it can be applied to operational activities. The partner of this activity is the Heri Coffee Shop. Kedai Kopi Heri has done the recording before, Kedai Kopi Heri tends to only record manually using a book. This makes financial records so there is no efficient. This PKM activity is carried out by means of question and answer, observation. Accounting recording system designed with Microsoft Access. The outputs obtained from this system are general ledger, trial balance, income statement, statement of financial position, inventory report. The implementation stage consists of 3 stages, namely the stage of recognizing the features of a system, submitting and receiving the system that the author designed using Microsoft Access, and feedback from the MSMEs. The system has been implemented properly and can provide revisions to the accounting record system for MSMEs.

Abstract

Devotion to society is carried out in order to provide support to SMEs that have common problems in their operation, namely the Primadona Shop located in Batam City. The obstacle that occurs is that the Primadona Shop has been operating for 18 years, but so far, the recording is still using the manual method, so it is less efficient and effective because it does not have accurate financial reports. The method of collecting data in this study uses methods such as field observations, interviews and documentation. In this practical work, the recording system uses Microsoft Access software. This system is able to produce several functions to record purchases, sales, cash receipts and cash disbursements. In addition, this system can generate reports in the form of sales reports, purchase reports, inventory reports, income statements and balance reports. The system designed is expected to help Primadona Stores in more accurate and effective accounting records to record and report transactions in accordance with applicable accounting standards and regulations and can assist the person in charge of the company in making decisions so that the company can develop in the future.

Abstract

Dalam rangka membantu proses pembelajaran daring yang menjadi sebuah tantangan terhadap pelajar akibat dari pandemi COVID-19, dilakukan proyek pengabdian kepada masyarakat (PkM) ini di kota Tanjungpinang khususnya ditujukan kepada SMK Swasta Maitreyawira untuk menyediakan bahan ajar yang dapat digunakan secara mandiri oleh pelajar pada mata pelajaran akuntansi keuangan. PkM ini dilaksanakan untuk membantu mengurangi dampak negatif pembelajaran jarak jauh terhadap anak. Secara keseluruhan, PkM ini mendapatkan umpan balik positif dari sekolah yang menyebutkan bahwa dengan output yang dihasilkan dapat meringankan beban para guru pengampu mata pelajaran akuntansi keuangan dalam proses pembelajaran jarak jauh. Siswa-siswi dipercayai dapat melaksanakan pembelajaran jarak jauh dengan baik dalam beradaptasi kepada masa new normal COVID-19.

Abstract

A computer-based accounting system was designed for Toko Yanto in order to assist in inputting their everyday operational transactions. Before this system was made, Toko Yanto used manual bookkeeping as their accounting system. The activity was implemented from September to December 2022. The methods used were observation, interviews, and documentation. The accounting system is designed by using Microsoft Access. The implemented system can help business owner in avoiding inconsistency as well as human errors in recording their daily transactions. The system is also designed to display the output in the form of reports such as payables report, receivables report, stock report, purchase report, sales report, income statement, and statement of financial position. The result of the output presented can help business owner in their decision making for further business development. A recommendation for the future is to add other features that can make the system works even more efficiently and effectively.

Abstract

Every business requires an efficient and accurate accounting record system so that business owners can more easily find out the condition of business through financial reports that have been prepared using the recording system. This community service is carried out to support MSMEs who have difficulty in compiling an accounting record system. The MSMEs chosen for this service is the Kid's Kingdom Store, which is located at Nagoya Hill Mall, Batam. Kid's Kingdom Store has been operating for 10 years but does not have an efficient and accurate accounting record system. Kid's Kingdom Store uses a manual recording system and only records daily income. The research methods used in this service are observation, interviews, and documentation. This service is expected to help MSME owners to make financial reports such as income statements, statements of financial position, purchase reports, sales reports, and cash receipts reports. Recommendation for the future project is researcher can make a manual book for owner so that owner can recall how to use the system easily. Thank you for giving researcher to do this community service. Hope this activity can be helpful for community.

Abstract

Since the outbreak of the pandemic caused by the COVID-19 virus in Indonesia, many aspects have been affected, one of which is in the field of education. With the virus, the government is setting up distance learning activities or online. This problem causes a lack of digital teaching materials owned by the school. So researchers designed digital financial accounting teaching materials at private vocational schools in Batam City during the covid-19 pandemic. The digital teaching materials that the researchers made were financial accounting modules and power point. With the hope that the resulting teaching materials are able to assist teachers in carrying out the teaching and learning process, and make it easier for students to understand the material presented. Digital teaching materials will be implemented by the school and evaluation of the assessment of teaching materials will receive positive feedback so that they are suitable for use.

Abstract

Terjadinya pandemi virus COVID-19 berdampak pada berbagai aspek di Indonesia. Selain aspek ekonomi yang terkena dampak dari pandemi virus COVID-19, pandemi ini juga berdampak pada aspek pendidikan. Pemerintah Indonesia memutuskan untuk memberhentikan sementara kegiatan belajar mengajar secara tatap muka di sekolah dan digantikan dengan belajar mengajar secara online. SMK Harmoni Batam termasuk salah satu yang menerapkan belajar mengajar secara online, namun permasalahan tidak sampai disitu saja. Para guru harus menyiapkan bahan ajar digital yang menarik dan dapat dimengerti untuk ditampilkan kepada siswa sekolah. Kurangnya bahan ajar digital yang disiapkan oleh guru untuk proses belajar mengajar di sekolah, maka pada pelaksanaan Pengabdian Masyarakat (PkM) ini dengan menyusun bahan ajar digital akuntansi keuangan di SMK Harmoni Batam. Hasil pelaksanaan dari kegiatan PkM ini adalah bahan ajar digital berupa power point presentation dan modul pembelajaran dengan materi akuntansi keuangan yang diharapkan membantu dalam proses belajar mengajar di SMK Harmoni Batam, dan dapat digunakan kembali oleh murid sekolah di semester berikutnya.

Abstract

This study focuses on the development strategy of tourism villages through the implementation of Community Based Tourism (CBT) and women's empowerment as an effort to achieve Sustainable Development Goals (SDGs) in Kampung Tua Bakau Serip, Nongsa District. Tourism villages are crucial drivers of sustainable economic and environmental development in Indonesia, yet challenges remain in optimizing human resources and managing village potential. Through partnerships between Batam International University, local communities, and corporate social responsibility (CSR) programs, various capacity-building initiatives were implemented, particularly emphasizing women's participation in creative economy activities. The development roadmap envisions Kampung Tua Bakau Serip as a "Smart Village" and Mangrove Education Study Center over the next five years. Initial results indicate that community empowerment, infrastructure improvement, and educational tourism development can significantly contribute to economic growth and environmental conservation. The research highlights the importance of sustainable community engagement in achieving long-term tourism village viability.
