Abstract

Penelitian ini dilakukan untuk mengetahui pengaruh determinan penggunaan FinTech (Financial Technology) seperti crowdfunding, mobile payment, blockchain dalam pengambil keputusan minat young entrepreneurial. Penelitian ini menggunakan data primer dengan penyebaran 220 kuesioner kepada responden yang merupakan di kalangan pengusaha muda. Analisis data menunjukkan bahwa sebagian besar hubungan yang diselidiki tentang crowdfunding, blockchain dan mobile payment memiliki pengaruh signifikan positif terhadap entrepreneurial intention. Ekosistem FinTech (Financial Technology) dapat secara positif mempengaruhi keputusan untuk berwirausaha, dengan implikasi yang relevan di tingkat institusi, industri dan individu. Penelitian ini menunjukkan hubungan positif dan signifikan antara beberapa dimensi utama FinTech (Financial Technology) terhadap entrepreneurial intentions.

Abstract

Investasi pada Bitcoin di Indonesia meningkat setiap tahunnya, hal ini dikarekan para investor yang melihat peluang keuntungan yang baik dan mengerti pentingnya untuk melakukan investasi. Hal ini juga didasari, bahwa bitcoin sebagai wadah investasi yang dianggap mudah untuk digunakan menjadi pilihan para investor. Penelitian ini dilakukan guna mengetahui faktor apakah yang menjadi pendorong dalam melakukan repurchase intention terhadap bitcoin. Metodologi penelitian ini adalah dengan penyebaran kuesioner melalui form online terhadap 172 investor bitcoin yang melakukan pembelian bitcoin secara berkelajutan. Pada penelitian ini menemukan bahwa perceived of enjoyment, expectation dan perceived ease of use dalam penggunaan berpengaruh signifikan terhadap repurchase intention bitcoin, sedangkan satisfaction dalam penggunaan tidak memiliki pengaruh terhadap repurchase intention bitcoin.

Abstract

Desa Wisata merupakan salah satu objek wisata di Kota Batam yang mendukung tujuan Pembangunan berkelanjutan. Peningkatan jumlah pengunjung yang datang di Desa Wisata memberikan dampak yang cukup besar untuk mendukung ekonomi masyarakat yang tinggal di Desa Wisata. Tujuan dari kegiatan ini adalah untuk membantu pengelola Desa Wisata Kampung Tua Bakau Serip Mangrove Pandang Tak Jemu dalam meningkatkan jumlah pengunjung yang datang untuk melakukan wisata edukasi mangrove dengan pemanfaatan sosial media yang maksimal. Kegiatan ini dilaksanakan dengan melakukan kegiatan observasi lapangan dan observasi media sosial lebih dulu untuk mengetahui Tingkat pemanfaatan sosial media pada Desa Wisata Bakau Serip. Kegiatan ini dilaksanakan secara kooperatif, yaitu dosen, mahasiswa, serta mitra yang merupakan pengelola desa wisata. Hasil dari kegiatan ini dosen dan mahasiswa membantu pengelola desa wisata untuk merancang konten sosial media yang menarik sehingga dapat dimanfaatkan untuk memberikan informasi kepada masyarakat Batam tentang wisata edukasi mangrove di Kecamatan Nongsa, Kelurahan Sambau.

Abstract

Mamah Factory is a specialty souvenir center in Batam, featuring its signature products such as Luti Gendang, Kue Lapis Emas, Pancake Durian, Kue Emas Durian Keju, and Brownies Durian. In order to build a positive and healthy brand image for Mamah Factory, the author employed data collection methods including observation, interviews, documentation, and surveys to identify the uniqueness and differences of Mamah's products compared to others. The results of this Community Service activity brought in more viewers, followers, and buyers with content emphasizing Mamah's product values. The number of profile visits was higher compared to previous Community Service activities, with an increase in followers by 43, surpassing the 30-follower increase from the previous Community Service. In the next program, it is hoped that there will be improvements in all aspects that can help the community to better understand Mamah Factory in terms of its product values and quality.

Abstract

Marketing strategies have to evolve to increase service usage decisions and the company's brand image. In previous studies, it was stated that digital marketing, price, and trust were proven to influence service usage decisions and brand image. This study also aims to examine the effect of digital marketing, price, and trust on service usage decisions and brand image at Courtesy Agents, so that Courtesy Agents management can develop the right strategy to increase customers and brand image. By using quantitative methods and SmartPLS to analyze data obtained through questionnaires with respondents who are customers of Courtesy Agents services in making work permits for foreign workers, this study obtained the results that it is true and proven that digital marketing, price, and trust have a positive and significant effect on service usage decisions and brand image at Courtesy Agents, except for the price variable which has no significant effect on brand image.

Abstract

Fintech lending is currently growing very rapidly, but has the potential for default by generation Z and millennials. This study aims to determine the effect of financial knowledge, financial attitude, financial management behavior, and self-control on compulsive buying behavior. This research is quantitative research, with a sampling technique using purposive sampling on the millennial generation who use fintech lending in Batam City, totaling 370 respondents. This study uses structural equation modeling (SEM) using SmartPLS software. The results of this study found that financial knowledge has an insignificant effect on compulsive buying behavior, while financial attitude and financial management behavior have a significant positive effect on compulsive buying behavior. Self-control is unable to significantly mediate the effect of financial knowledge on compulsive buying behavior, but self-control can significantly mediate the effect of financial attitude and financial management behavior on compulsive buying behavior. Based on the results of the research above, psychological problems such as stress, and anxiety as well as a high sense of prestige by spending excessive money will increasingly make people fall deeper into compulsive buying. The role of policymakers in regulating the use of FinTech lending and outreach to users through advertisements is suggested so that the public and fintech lending companies can get optimal benefits from using this technological advancement in the financial sector.

Abstract

Perkembangan desa wisata dari waktu ke waktu memang mengalami peningkatan yang sangat signifikan. Perubahan minat wisata saat ini cenderung lebih mengarah pada wisata ekologis dibandingkan dengan wisata keramaian. Hal ini menjadi salah satu tantangan bagi sebuah Ekowisata untuk meningkatkan strategi pemasaran, terutama penggunaan sosial media agar para turis dapat mengenal desa wisata beserta produk yang ditawarkan. Tujuan kegiatan Pengabdian kepada Masyarakat ini salah satunya adalah untuk memberikan kontribusi kepada desa wisata Kampung Tua Bakau Serip dalam hal pengelolaan media sosial dan konten-konten yang dapat dijadikan contoh untuk pengelolaan selanjutnya. Kegiatan ini dilakukan selama efektif selama 3 bulan yang melibatkan dosen, mahasiswa, serta pengelola desa wisata Kampung Tua Bakau Serip. Hasil dari kegiatan ini adalah mahasiswa dan dosen melakukan pembuatan Instagram dan men-design konten-konten yang menarik sebagai salah satu langkah awal dalam pengembangan digitalisasi desa wisata. Dengan adanya hasil dari kegiatan PkM ini akan memberikan semangat kepada pengelola desa wisata agar memperbaiki kualitas dari desa wisata dan melanjutkan pengembangan konten untuk sosial media agar menarik minat wisatawan tidak hanya di dalam negeri, tetapi juga dari luar negeri.

Abstract

This study focuses on the development strategy of tourism villages through the implementation of Community Based Tourism (CBT) and women's empowerment as an effort to achieve Sustainable Development Goals (SDGs) in Kampung Tua Bakau Serip, Nongsa District. Tourism villages are crucial drivers of sustainable economic and environmental development in Indonesia, yet challenges remain in optimizing human resources and managing village potential. Through partnerships between Batam International University, local communities, and corporate social responsibility (CSR) programs, various capacity-building initiatives were implemented, particularly emphasizing women's participation in creative economy activities. The development roadmap envisions Kampung Tua Bakau Serip as a "Smart Village" and Mangrove Education Study Center over the next five years. Initial results indicate that community empowerment, infrastructure improvement, and educational tourism development can significantly contribute to economic growth and environmental conservation. The research highlights the importance of sustainable community engagement in achieving long-term tourism village viability.

Abstract

AbstrakDunia fashion di Indonesia mengalami perkembangan pesat karena adanya modernisasi desain. Dalam kehidupan sehari-hari pakaian turut menjadi tolak ukur dalam menilai perbedaan status antar kelompok tertentu, karena hal ini orang-orang lebih suka memilih brand fashion dari luar negeri ketimbang brand fashion lokal karena dinilai lebih dapat meningkatkan gengsi. Permasalahan tersebut juga terjadi di Kota Batam, karena hal tersebut penelitian ini dibuat untuk mengetahui lebih dalam mengenai peminatan pada brand fashion di kota Batam, dengan menguji pengaruh dari citra merek, harga, promosi, kualitas produk, kualitas pelayanan, terhadap loyalitas pelanggan oleh kepuasan pelanggan. Variabel tersebut digunakan sebagai anteseden dalam menginvestigasi masalah yang disebutkan sebelumnya. Objek pada penelitian ini berfokus pada Brand Fashion lokal di Kota Batam dengan populasi adalah masyarakat Kota Batam yang dipilih sesuai dengan kriteria sampel yaitu generasi muda di Kota Batam yang pernah membeli Brand Fashion lokal.” Metode yang digunakan pada penelitian ini adalah metode kuantitatif, kemudian data yang terkumpul dianalisa menggunakan SmartPLS dan PLS-SEM. Hasil yang diperoleh dari penelitian ini memberikan sebuah insight bahwa kepuasan pelanggan dalam hal ini tidak dipengaruhi oleh citra merek dan promosi yang biasanya selalu berpengaruh signifikan, begitu juga dengan loyalitas pelanggan dalam hal ini juga tidak terbukti secara signifikan dipengaruhi oleh citra merek, kualitas produk, dan pelayanan. Kata kunci: citra merek; harga; promosi; kualitas pelayanan; loyalitas pelanggan; kualitas produk; kepuasan pelanggan AbstractThe fashion industry in Indonesia has developed significantly due to the modernization of design. In daily life, clothing has also become a benchmark in measuring status differences between certain social groups. Because of this, people prefer to choose fashion brands from abroad rather than local fashion brands because they are considered to be able to increase prestige. These problems also occur in Batam City, so this study was made to find out more about the interest in fashion brands in Batam City. By examining the influence of brand image, price, promotion, product quality, service quality, on customer loyalty by customer satisfaction. These variables are used as antecedents in investigating the previously mentioned problems. The object of this study focuses on local fashion brands in Batam City with the population being the people of Batam City selected in accordance with the sample criteria, namely the younger generation in Batam City who have purchased local fashion brands.The method used in this research is quantitative method, then the data collected is analyzed using SmartPLS and PLS-SEM. The findings from this study indicate that customer satisfaction is not impacted by brand image and promotion, which typically have a significant effect. Abstract

Innovation is a crucial factor for the sustainability of MSMEs, especially in facing market dynamics and increasing competition. This study aims to examine the impact of transformational leadership on the sustainable performance of MSMEs in Batam, considering innovation as a mediating variable and external social capital as a moderating variable. Data were collected through a survey and analyzed using a structural model with the Smart-PLS method. The results of the study indicate that transformational leadership significantly enhances innovation, which subsequently has a positive impact on the sustainable performance of organizations. External social capital strengthens the relationship between transformational leadership and sustainable performance. Innovation serves as a strong mediator in this relationship. The reliability of the research model is supported by high Cronbach's Alpha and Composite Reliability values, as well as R Square values that indicate the variation explained by the model. The validity of the model is also supported by AVE, outer loading, and HTMT values that meet the standards. The low SRMR value and high GoF value reflect the model's fit with the observed data. This study accepted all seven hypotheses with significant p-values (<0.05). Transformational leadership significantly influences innovation and sustainable performance. Innovation also significantly affects sustainable performance. External social capital significantly moderates the influence of transformational leadership on sustainable performance, both directly and through innovation.
