Abstract

Calistung merupakan kemampuan dasar yang wajib bagi manusia sebagai makhluk sosial dansebagai alat untuk memperoleh berbagai pengetahuan. Calistung mulai diajarkan pada usia 4Tahun hingga awal masuk Sekolah Dasar. Telah banyak upaya yang dilaksanakan parapraktisi pendidikan untuk membantu siswa dalam belajar Calistung. Salah satu upaya yangdapat dilaksanakan agar siswa bisa Calistung yaitu dengan alat peraga Pohon Berhitung danKotak Energi. Tujuan dari kegiatan ini adalah adanya perubahan dalam antusiasme dansemangat siswa dalam belajar. Hasil dari aktivitas Pengabdian Masyarakat ini adalah adanyapeningkatan antusiasme siswa serta semangat untuk belajar dalam Calistung serta adanyakeseimbangan antara bermain dengan belajar, dan tanpa disadari mereka bermain itu adalahtermasuk belajar.

Abstract

The majority of mathematics learning currently carried out still uses the lecture method so that mathematics learning is meaningless and passive. Therefore, it is important to apply a Realistic Mathematics Approach so that learning mathematics becomes more enjoyable and meaningful. The subjects of this research were students in class IV B at SD Negeri 6 Palangkaraya, totaling 23 students. The aim of this research is to increase students' mathematics learning activities by using a Realistic Mathematics approach assisted by KARMILA media. The type of research used is Classroom Action Research (PTK). The research method used is a mix method, which is a combination of qualitative and quantitative. The data analysis techniques used are reduction, data presentation and drawing conclusions. The research results showed that students' activities when taking action using the Realistic Mathematics Approach assisted by KARMILA media in class IV B of SD Negeri 6 Palangka achieved good criteria. This can be seen from the results of observations made by observers when learning takes place. In cycle I, student activities obtained an average score of 3.7 with good criteria, while in cycle II, student activities received an average score of 3.95 with good criteria. So, it can be concluded that using the Realistic Mathematics Approach assisted by KARMILA media has been proven to increase the learning activities of class IV B students at SD Negeri 6 Palangkaraya.

Abstract

The implementation of media in mathematics learning is still rarely implemented due to the lack of knowledge about learning media, so its implementation is quite limited. There is a need for learning media that can connect abstract mathematical concepts with students' understanding of mathematical concepts. One of the efforts made is implementing Realistic Mathematics Education assisted by KARMILA media (Training Mini Cards). This research aims to provide a description of improving student learning outcomes in implementing a realistic mathematics approach assisted by KARMILA media. The subjects of this research were class IV B students at SD Negeri 6 Palangkaraya, totaling 23 students. This type of research is Classroom Action Research (PTK). Data collection techniques using tests. The research method used is a mix method, namely qualitative and quantitative. The results of the research show that student learning outcomes when taking action using the Realistic Mathematics Approach assisted by KARMILA media in class IV B of SD Negeri 6 Palangka have increased. This can be seen from the student test results where in cycle II, the average student learning outcome score was 85 with a classical completeness score of 96%. So, it can be concluded that there is an increase in mathematics learning outcomes by using the Realistic Mathematics Approach assisted by KARMILA media in class IV B of SD Negeri 6 Palangkaraya.

Abstract

Teaching aids are media that can help stimulate students' skills, thoughts, attention and desires so that they can stimulate student learning activities. On the other hand, using teaching aids can create space for students to be able to participate in every learning process. In fact, at SDN 2 Kereng Bangkirai class III and SDIT Hasanka class II, learning activities have not used teaching aids. The props that are made and used are counting boards made from cardboard. This teaching aid is used in the learning process for class III students at SDN 2 Kereng Bangkirai and class II at SDIT Hasanka. The aim of learning using these teaching aids is to facilitate students in the learning process and the hope is that by using these props, learning activities can be more active and enjoyable in learning activities, and will not make students bored in learning so that their material skills will be better.

Abstract

This activity is carried out in an effort to help teachers convey mathematical concepts and help students understand mathematical concepts. This activity was carried out at SD Negeri 2 Kereng Bangkirai Palangka Raya and MIS Fathul Iman Palangka Raya. The activity was carried out in 3 stages, namely: 1) Gathering with the school; 2) implementation of activities; and 3) handing over teaching aids to the school. The results of this activity are: 1) At SD Negeri Kereng Bangkirai, students can participate well. Most students understand the concepts conveyed using windmill props. Students also enjoy learning with teaching aids. This can be seen from the enthusiasm of the students when the windmill props are used by the students. 2) The activity at MIS Fathul Iman is that almost all Class 1 students can overcome their boredom with the availability of windmill tinsel. Apart from that, they also actively answer during the lesson.

Abstract

Learning media is the empowerment of all instruments created to make it easier for teachers to convey learning material and students to understand learning concepts. This service activity aims to increase students' interest in learning by implementing Calistung learning media. This activity was carried out at SD Negeri 1 Kereng Bangkirai, Palangkaraya City and MIS Fathul Iman Palangkaraya and was attended by teachers and students. The result of this activity is that there is an increase in students' interest in learning when applying Calistung learning media in class, which is marked by increased student enthusiasm during the learning process.

Abstract

At the elementary school level, the ability to read, write and count are basic capabilities that must be trained at every level of education. In Law Number 20 of 2003 concerning the National Education System, article 4 paragraph 5, it is stated that a principle in implementing education is to create a culture of reading, writing and arithmetic everywhere for every member of society. The aim of this activity is that there is a change in students' activeness and understanding in learning Calistung using smart tree media. The result of this Community Service activity is that there is an increase in students' understanding and activeness in learning Calistung as well as the creation of a balance between learning and playing, so that without students realizing it, playing is included in learning activities.

Abstract

Mayoritas pengguna media sosial mengakses platform Youtube tidak lepas dari kelebihan di dalamnya. Kelebihan yang utama yaitu kemudahan dalam mengakses dan mengunggah video yang tersedia di Youtube dengan internet secara gratis tanpa ada batasan ruang dan waktu. Selain itu, matematika memiliki karakteristik yang dapat berpengaruh terhadap minat berwirausaha. Tujuan dari penelitian ini adalah untuk mendeskripsikan pemanfaatan Youtube dan pembelajaran matematika ditinjau dari minat berwirausaha. Metode penelitian ini adalah kuantitatif deskriptif dengan mengumpulkan angket Googleform kepada mahasiswa yang mengambil mata kuliah kewirausahaan. Analisis data yang digunakan dalam penelitian ini adalah kuantitatif deskriptif sedangkan untuk menguji validitas angket dengan Pearson Correlation dan reliabilitas angket dengan Cronbach Alpha menggunakan SPSS. Hasil dari penelitian ini adalah mayoritas mahasiswa (62%) yang menganggap bahwa youtube dapat meningkatkan minat berwirausaha masih berada dalam kategori minat “Sedang”. Sedangkan, mayoritas mahasiswa (94%) yang menganggap bahwa pembelajaran matematika dapat meningkatkan minat berwirausaha.

Abstract

Overcoming cognitive load is very necessary so that the learning material delivered by teachers can be constructed by students, so that students gain meaningful knowledge and experience. Thus, learning mathematics using a Realistic Mathematics Education approach based on the local wisdom of the Dayak Tribe is important to apply to overcome the cognitive load of students in Central Kalimantan. The objectives of this research are 1) To find out whether e-book buying and selling material using a Realistic Mathematics Education approach based on local Dayak wisdom can meet the criteria for being suitable for use; 2) To find out whether e-book buying and selling material using a Realistic Mathematics Education approach based on local Dayak wisdom can overcome the cognitive load of students in Central Kalimantan. This research uses the Research and Development (RnD) method with a 4-D model developed by Thiagarajan. The development steps are definition, design, development and dissemination. The data collection technique is a Likert Scale to determine whether the product being developed meets feasibility. The research results show that 1) e-book buying and selling material using a Realistic Mathematics Education approach based on local Dayak wisdom meets the appropriate criteria; 2) e-book buying and selling material with a Realistic Mathematics Education approach based on local Dayak wisdom can overcome the cognitive load of students in Central Kalimantan

This research aims to: 1) To find out whether e-book buying and selling material using a Realistic Mathematics Education approach based on local Dayak wisdom can meet valid criteria; 2) To find out whether the e-book buying and selling material using the Realistic Mathematics Education approach based on local Dayak wisdom can meet the criteria for being suitable for use. The research method used is Research and Development (RnD) with a 4-D model developed by Thiagarajan.
