Abstract

Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk membantu meningkatkan kemampuan mahasiswa dalam berbicara dalam Bahasa Inggris, maka peneliti menggunakan metode Role Play dengan mahasiswa mampu menggali kemampuannya dalam berbahasa Inggris, meningkatkan keinginan berbicara Bahasa Inggris dan dapat menambah kosakata Bahasa Inggris mahasiswa Analis Kesehatan STIKes Perintis Padang dalam berkomunikasi dengan Bahasa Inggris yang baik dan membangun katertarikan mahasiswa untuk belajar Bahasa Inggris, khususnya diaspek speaking. Penelitian ini merupakan penelitian tindakan kelas dengan menggunakan dua siklus yaitu, siklus I dan siklus II. Hasil penelitian menunjukan bahwa nilai rata-rata keterampilan berbicara Bahasa Inggris mahasiswa meningkat dari siklus I ke siklus ke II. Hal ini ditunjukan oleh hasil Accent pada siklus I (43,25%) menjadi (76,50%) pada siklus II. Penguasaan mahasiswa pada grammar siklus I (52,37%) menjadi (77,20%) pada siklus II. Vocabulary dari siklus I (48, 85%) menjadi (78,40%) pada siklus II. Fluency siklus I (63,45%) menjadi (77,65%) pada siklus II. Comprehension meningkat dari siklus I (66,62%) menjadi (83,50%). Kesimpulan metode role play terbukti dapat meningkatkan keterampilan berbicara mahasiswa. Metode role play memberikan banyak kesempatan kepada mahasiswa untuk berlatih dan praktik secara langsung

Abstract

Tujuan dari penelitian ini adalah untuk menganalisis pengaruh budaya organisasi, kepuasan kerja, dan komitmen organisasional terhadap kinerja Dosen. Adapun objek penelitian yang dipilih dalam studi ini adalah Dosen STIKES KOTA PADANG. Data dikumpulkan melalui metode kuesioner yang diisi secara mandiri terhadap 127 responden dengan menggunakan metode sensus. Pengukuran terhadap konstruk eksogen dan endogen diuji menggunakan analisis faktor konfirmatori, dan hasilnya menunjukkan bahwa uji kelayakan full model berada dalam rentang nilai yang diharapkan. Hasil dari penelitian ini membuktikan dan memberi kesimpulan bahwa: (1) budaya organisasi berpengaruh positif dan signifikan terhadap kepuasan kerja, (2) budaya organisasi berpengaruh positif dan signifikan terhadap komitmen organisasional, (3) kepuasan kerja berpengaruh positif dan signifikan terhadap komitmen organisasional, (4) komitmen organisasional berpengaruh positif dan signifikan terhadap kinerja dosen, (5) budaya organisasi berpengaruh positif dan signifikan terhadap kinerja dosen, serta (6) kepuasan kerja berpengaruh positif dan signifikan terhadap kinerja karyawan.

Abstract

Hospital waste comes from health service units in hospitals including laboratories. All types of waste in the laboratory can be declared as infectious material, therefore the handling and disposal of waste must be handled properly so as not to cause negative impacts as a result of laboratory operations which if not managed properly can pollute the environment. Basically, waste management in hospitals must be done well and correctly according to the existing Standard Operating Procedure (SOP). So the writer is interested in examining the Application of the Implementation of Standard Operating Procedure (SOP) on Solid Waste Treatment in Dr. RSUP. M. Djamil Padang. The purpose of this study was to determine the compliance of officers in implementing SOPs for processing solid laboratory waste at Dr. RSUP. M. Djamil Padang. This type of research is a descriptive observational study with a cross sectional study approach, which is managing data from observations in the field by comparing the Standard Operating Procedures (SOP) that exist qualitatively. Primary data obtained from observations and checklists using prepared questionnaires. From the results of research conducted, it was found that 83% of SOPs had been carried out by laboratory cleaners and 17% of SOPs had not been carried out by laboratory cleaners. This is due to the unavailability of facilities needed by officers.

Abstract

The purpose of this study was to study the factors that influence the intention of Generation X in using online shopping applications, with the TAM (Technology Acceptance Model) approach. This research is a survey research using questionnaires as a tool to collect data. Pre-testing is carried out at the beginning of the study, before distributing questionnaires to ensure that the instruments used are valid and understandable. The 50 respondents were Generation Xers aged 43 to 58, who used online shopping applications. The instrument is a questionnaire consisting of two parts, namely the independent variable and the dependent variable. The data were analyzed with SEM, and validity and reliability tests were conducted. What influences Generation X's intention to shop on online shopping apps is 1. perception of usefulness, 2. perception of ease of use,3. perception of value and 4. perception of security. In addition, social factors such as subjective norms and reference groups. This research can help e-commerce companies improve services to Generation X consumers, by making it easier for them to use online shopping applications.

Abstract

Kabupaten Mentawai merupakan daerah dengan risiko tinggi terhadap malaria. Terinfeksinya masyarakat oleh Nyamuk Malaria di daerah Kabupaten Mentawai   berdampak terhadap kesehatan masyarakat. Sudah banyak pengendalian nya yang dilakukan tetapi pengendalian dengan mengidentifikasi vector nyamuk dan mengevaluasi pengendaliannya belum banyak dilakukan. Maka tujuan penelitian ini adalah mempelajari   dengan memantau keberadaan vector nyamuk penyebab malaria, tingkat infeksi dan mengevaluasi program pengendalian malaria di Kabupaten Mentawai Metode penelitian meliputi pemantauan nyamuk menggunakan perangkap nyamuk di berbagai lokasi di Kabupaten Mentawai, identifikasi spesies nyamuk, dan pengujian kepekaan terhadap obat-obatan antimalaria. Selain itu, dilakukan juga survei pengetahuan, sikap, dan praktik masyarakat terkait pengendalian malaria. Data yang terkumpul dianalisis secara deskriptif dan dihubungkan dengan hasil evaluasi program pengendalian yang telah dilakukan sebelumnya. Hasil penelitian ini ternyata vector nyamuk yang menyebabkan Malaria di Kabupaten Mentawai ada 2 yaitu Anopheles sundaicus dan Anopheles subpictus. Selain itu dapat memberikan pemahaman yang lebih komprehensif tentang jenis dan kepadatan vektor nyamuk penyebab malaria yang ada di Kabupaten Mentawai, dan tingkat keberhasilan program pengendalian yang telah dilaksanakan hampir 99%. Penelitian ini juga dapat memberikan wawasan tentang pengetahuan, sikap, dan praktik masyarakat terkait pengendalian malaria. Hasil penelitian ini ternyata dapat menjadi dasar untuk pengembangan strategi pengendalian vektor yang lebih efektif dan intervensi berbasis masyarakat yang lebih tepat di Kabupaten Mentawaidan dan di daerah dengan karakteristik serupa di tingkat regional atau nasional, guna mengurangi beban malaria.

Abstract

Uric acid is the last metabolite of purines, which is one of the components of nucleic acids found in the nucleus of human cells. Many factors can affect a person's uric acid levels, such as genetics, lifestyle and physical activity. Coffee is one of the world's most popular drinks. The purpose of this research is determine the descriptionof blood uric acid levels in adult men who have the habit of drinking coffee with Robusta and Arabica coffee. The type of research used is descriptive analytic using cross- sectional analytic method. The population in this study were patients with gout who had a habit of drinking coffee at RSU Mayjen H.A Thalib Kerinci. The sample in this study was taken as many as 40 people with uric acid patien. Based on the research results, giving of the t test 0.178> 0.05 showed that there was no difference in uric acid levels between the types of Robusta and Arabica coffee. Keywords: Uric acid; coffee.

Abstract

Tuberculosis (TB) is one of the infectious diseases that is still a global health problem. According to World Health Organization (WHO) data in 2020, there are about 10 million new cases of tuberculosis worldwide. TB is still the leading cause of death from infectious diseases in the world, even surpassing the death rate from COVID-19 at the time. In 2019, there were 5,403 TB cases in West Sumatra, in 2019 there were 5,190 TB cases in men (62.70%). Padang is the city with the highest number of TB cases in West Sumatra, with 2,358 cases in 2018, In May 2022, there were 1,500 confirmed TB patients in Padang. Factors contributing to the increase in TB cases in Indonesia, including West Sumatra, are genetics, lifestyle, and level of knowledge. There has been a lot of discussion about tuberculosis, but not many have studied health program communication education about public knowledge about tuberculosis. The purpose of this study was to study health program communication education about public knowledge about tuberculosis. The survey method was used to collect data from respondents representing the community in Padang City. Surveys through written questionnaires and interviews via Google form sent online. Questions in the survey covered aspects such as public knowledge about tuberculosis before and after Promkes education, attitudes towards TB prevention, and factors influencing participation in education programs. The data were analyzed statistically, measuring changes in knowledge before and after Promkes education, and analyzing the factors that influenced the results. Health Program Education Group: Average knowledge about tuberculosis prevention: 8.5 Standard deviation of knowledge: 1.2. Uneducated Group: Average knowledge about tuberculosis prevention: 6.2 Standard deviation of knowledge: 1.5. From the results of the analysis, it can be seen that the group that received Promkes education had a higher average knowledge about tuberculosis prevention compared to the group that did not get education. This difference shows that Promkes education has the potential to have a positive impact on public knowledge about tuberculosis prevention.

Abstract

Currently, the development of digital technology has an influence on all human lives, including shopping problems, namely online shopping applications. A lot of research has been done to study it, but there hasn't been much study of the factors that influence the intention to use online apps in generation X. So the purpose of this study is to study the factors that influence the intention to use mobile shopping applications among generation x, using the UTAUT application approach The method used is the UTAUT Model (Unified Theory of Acceptance and Use of Technology), the Integrated Theory of Acceptance and Use of Technology. The UTAUT model is used to be applied to the context of mobile shopping application use among Generation X. This research is a survey research using questionnaires as a data collection instrument. The sample is the Generation X Group who use smartphones and often do online shopping transactions. What influences a person's intention in the use of technology, it turns out to be between: 1) perception of ease of use, 2). perception of usefulness, 3). subjective norms, and 4). perception of quality. What influences a person's intention in the use of technology, it turns out to be between: 1) perception of ease of use, 2). perception of usefulness, 3). security, and 4). l. It can be concluded that the most significant factors in influencing the intention to use mobile shopping apps among Generation X are in terms of ease of use. This can be the basis for designing more effective marketing and promotion strategies for mobile shopping application service providers, and can help increase user satisfaction and strengthen consumer loyalty.
