Abstract

Penelitian yang dilaksanakan ini merupakan Penelitian Tindakan Kelas (PTK). Pelaksanaan penelitian ini sebagai upaya untuk meningkatkan hasil belajar mahasiswa melalui penerapan model pembelajaran Problem Based Indstruction (PBI). Subjek penelitian ini adalah mahasiswa Prodi Pendidikan Teknik Bangunan FKIP Universitas Nias yang mengontrak mata kuliah Hidrolika. Sebanyak 34 orang mahasiswa yang ikut serta dalam kelas penelitian ini. Teknik analisis data yang digunakan dengan cara membandingkan hasil setiap siklus dengan standar kriteria ketuntasan. Instrumen yang digunakan dalam penelitian ini bertujuan untuk memperoleh data tentang aktivitas belajar dan hasil belajar mahasiswa. Instrumen yang digunakan dalam penelitian ini adalah lembar observasi aktivitas mahasiswa, tes hasil belajar. Hasil penelitian diperoleh bahwa terjadi peningkatan signifikan aktivitas dan hasil belajar mahasiswa pada mata kuliah Hidrolika setelah diterapkannya model pembelajaran PBI. Peningkatan aktivitas belajar mahasiswa mengalami peningkatan sebesar 25,4% yakni siklus I dengan persentase aktivitas 60,2% meningkat menjadi 85,6% pada siklus II. Demikian halnya dengan hasil belajar mahasiswa juga mengalami peningkatan sebesar 18,82% yakni siklus I dengan persentase ketuntasan sebesar 91,18% meningkat menjadi 100% pada siklus II.

Abstract

Selain strategi dan model pembelajaran, media pembelajaran merupakan salah satu faktor yang mempengaruhi kegiatan pendidikan dan pembelajaran. Media powerpoint berbasis video digunakan agar proses pembelajaran menjadi lebih menarik, menyenangkan dan mudah dipahami. Tujuan penelitian ini adalah menggunakan media Powerpoint berbasis video untuk memperoleh informasi tentang hasil belajar, proses pembelajaran, dan reaksi mahasiswa. Penelitian ini dilaksanakan di IKIP Gunungsitoli dengan sasaran mahasiswa semester gasal yang berjumlah 27 mahasiswa. Variabel yang diteliti yakni hasil belajar mahasiswa, proses pembelajaran, serta respon mahasiswa. Pengumpulan data hasil belajar dengan tes uraian, proses pembelajaran dengan pengamatan kelas, dan respons mahasiswa dengan kuesioner (angket) respons dalam menggunakan media powerpoint berbasis video. Hasil belajar mahasiswa mendapatkan nilai rata-rata sebesar 80,7 dengan ketuntasan belajar mahasiswa mencapai 81%, untuk proses pembelajaran berjalan lancar dengan nilai rerata 4,51 dari skor maksimum 5. Mahasiswa merespons baik dengan nilai sebesar 84,96 dari nilai maksimal 100. Disimpulkan bahwa pembelajaran dengan menggunakan media powerpoint berbasis video memiliki peran positif terhadap hasil belajar mahasiswa.

Abstract

Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengungkapkan tentang kesiapan mahasiswa Pendidikan Teknik Bangunan IKIP Gunungsitoli semester genap TA 2020/2021. Metode penelitian deskriptif kuantitatif dengan populasi mahasiswa semester VIII Teknik Bangunan IKIP Gunungsitoli yang melaksanakan Praktik Kerja Industri (PKI) TA 2020/2021. Sampel dalam penelitian ini sebanyak 33 orang mahasiswa dengan pengambilan sampel menggunakan total sampling. Data dikumpulkan menggunakan angket, dengan 5 kategori kesiapan mulai dari: tidak siap, kurang siap, cukup siap, siap, sangat siap. Hasil penelitian, didapatkan data kesiapan mahasiswa Jurusan Teknik Bangunan IKIP Gunungsitoli dalam melaksanakan PKI berada pada kategori siap untuk aspek afektif, aspek kognitif dan psikomotor. Dilihat dari aspek secara keseluruhan bahwa kesiapan praktek kerja industri mahasiswa Teknik Bangunan IKIP Gunungsitoli dalam melaksanakan PKI di Kota Gunungsitoli berada pada kategori siap.

Abstract

Penelitian ini bertujuan: (1). untuk mendeskripsikan pelaksanaan proses pembelajaran dengan penerapan model pembelajaran problem based learning pada kompetensi dasar menerapkan prinsip-prinsip teknik pengukuran tanah, dan (2). untuk mengetahui peningkatan hasil belajar siswa pada kompetensi dasar prinsip-prinsip teknik pengukuran tanah di SMK Negeri 2 Namohalu Esiwa pada tahun pelajaran 2021/2022 melalui penerapan model pembelajaran problem based learning. Jenis penelitian ini adalah penelitian tindakan kelas (PTK). Penelitian ini dilaksanakan di SMK Negeri 2 Namohalu Esiwa dengan subjek penelitian siswa kelas X Kompetensi Keahlian Desain Pemodelan dan Informasi Bangunan (DPIB) semester I Tahun Pelajaran 2021/2022 dengan jumlah siswa 12 orang. Instrumen penelitian yang digunakan adalah lembar observasi, tes hasil belajar dan dokumentasi foto. Hasil penelitian diperoleh (1). pada siklus I rata-rata hasil pengamatan terhadap responden guru dalam proses pembelajaran pertemuan pertama 58% dan pertemuan kedua 61% dengan rata-rata persentase 59,5%. Persentase pengamatan terhadap siswa yang aktif dalam kegiatan pembelajaran pertemuan pertama 44,75% dan pertemuan kedua 58,50% dengan rata-rata persentase 51,62%. Rata-rata hasil belajar siswa 68,15 dengan persentase ketuntasan 41% dan persentase ketidaktuntasan 59%, dan (2). pada siklus II presentase pengamatan terhadap responden guru dalam proses pembelajaran pertemuan pertama 77% dan pertemuan kedua 91% dengan rata-rata 84%. Persentase pengamatan terhadap siswa yang aktif dalam kegiatan pembelajaran pertemuan pertama 82,5% dan pertemuan kedua 91% dengan rata-rata 86,75%. Rata-rata hasil belajar siswa 86,18 dengan persentase ketuntasan 100% dan presentase ketidaktuntasan 0%. Sehingga telah mencapai target ketuntasan 70. Dari temuan penelitian disimpulkan bahwa dengan menerapkan model pembelajaran problem based learning, dapat meningkatkan hasil belajar siswa pada kompetensi dasar menerapkan prinsip-prinsip teknik pengukuran tanah.

Abstract

Permasalahan dalam penelitian ini adalah penerapan model pembelajaran cooperative learning belum diterapkan secara optimal sehingga hasil belajar siswa pada kompetensi dasar memahami jenis-jenis alat berat pada pekerjaan konstruksi belum memenuhi standar KKM yaitu 70. Tujuan penelitian ini: (1). untuk mendeskripsikan pelaksanaan proses pembelajaran dengan menerapkan model pembelajaran cooperative learning, (2). untuk mengetahui peningkatan hasil belajar siswa pada kompetensi dasar memahami jenis-jenis alat berat pada pekerjaan konstruksi di kelas X DPIB SMK Negeri 2 Gunungsitoli melalui penerapan model pembelajaran cooperative learning. Jenis penelitian ini adalah Penelitian Tindakan Kelas (PTK). Penelitian ini dilaksanakan di SMK Negeri 2 Gunungsitoli dengan subyek penelitian siswa kelas X Jurusan Desain Pemodelan dan Informasi Bangunan (DPIB) semester II Tahun Pelajaran 2021/2022 dengan jumlah siswa 14 orang. Hasil penelitian: (1). pada siklus I (pertama) rata-rata pemgamatan proses pembelajaran (responden guru) yaitu 74,99%, (2). rata-rata persentase pengamatan keaktifan siswa dalam proses pembelajaran yaitu 47,67% belum mencapai target yang ditetapkan, rata-rata hasil belajar siswa yaitu 64,35 tergolong kategori cukup, persentase ketuntasan belajar siswa yaitu 35,71%, (3). pada siklus II (kedua) ) rata-rata pemgamatan proses pembelajaran (responden guru) yaitu 83,92%, dan (4). rata-rata persentase pengamatan keaktifan siswa dalam proses pembelajaran yaitu 81,06% belum mencapai target yang ditetapkan, rata-rata hasil belajar siswa yaitu 80,71 tergolong kategori baik, persentase ketuntasan belajar siswa yaitu 100%, telah mencapai target yang ditetapkan yaitu 70%.

The problem in this study is that the application of the Cooperative learning learning model has not been implemented optimally so that student learning outcomes in the Basic Competencies of Understanding Occupational Safety and Health and the Environment (K3LH) in Building Work do not meet the KKM standard of 70. The purpose of this study: (1) To describes the implementation of the learning process by applying the Cooperative Learning learning model. (2) To find out the increase in student learning outcomes in the Basic Competencies of Understanding Occupational Safety and Health and the Environment (K3LH) in Building Work in Class X DPIB SMK Negeri 2 Mandrehe. This research is Classroom Action Research (CAR). This research was conducted at SMK Negeri 2 Mandrehe with the research subjects being class X students of the Department of Building Modeling and Information Design (DPIB) semester I of the 2022/2023 Academic Year with a total of 12 students. Research instruments (1) Observation sheet, consisting of (a) Student activity observation sheet in the learning process (b) Observation sheet in the learning process of teacher respondents. (2) Student learning outcomes test, and (3) Photo documentation. The results of the study: (1) in the first (first) cycle, the average observation of the learning process (teacher respondents) was 74.99%, (2) the average percentage of observations of students' activeness in the learning process, namely 48.54%, had not reached the target set determined, the average student learning outcomes is 66.89 classified as sufficient category, the percentage of student learning completeness is 41.66%. (2) in cycle II (second) ) the average observation of the learning process (teacher respondents) was 83.92%, (2) the average percentage of observations of students' activeness in the learning process was 812.95% had not reached the target set, the average student learning outcomes, namely 84.19, are classified as good categories, the percentage of student learning completeness is 100%, has reached the set target of 70%. From the research findings above, it can be concluded that applying the Cooperative Learning learning model to the Basic Competencies of Understanding Occupational Safety and Health and the Environment (K3LH) in Building Work can improve student learning outcomes for Class X-DPIB SMK Negeri 2 Mandrehe in the 2022/2023 Academic Year

Abstract

The problem in this study is that the implementation of the Demonstration learning model has not been implemented optimally so that student learning outcomes in the basic competencies of Drawing Letters, Numbers and Etiquette are only limited to meeting the KKM standard that has been set, namely 70. The purpose of this study: (1) To describe the implementation of the learning process by apply the Demonstration learning model. (2) To find out the increase in student learning outcomes in the basic competencies of Drawing Letters, Numbers and Etiquette in technical drawings at SMK Negeri 1 Hiliserangkai. This type of research is Classroom Action Research (CAR). This research was conducted at SMK Negeri 1 Hiliserangkai with the research subjects being students of class X-BKP Semester I for the 2022/2023 academic year with a total of 18 students. The research instrument (1) Observation Sheet, consisting of (a) Observation sheet observing the learning process for teachers (b) Observation sheet observing students in the learning process. (2) Student Learning Outcomes Test and (3) Photo documentation. Research Results: (1) In Cycle I (first) the average learning process (teacher respondents) was 67.04%, and the average percentage of observations of students' activeness in the learning process was 47.40% had not reached the target set, the average -the average student learning outcomes is 67.89% belonging to the sufficient category, the percentage of student learning completeness is 66.67%. (2) In Cycle II (two) the average learning process (teacher respondents) is 92.04% and the average percentage of observations of student activity in the learning process is 81.77% has reached the set target, the average learning outcomes students namely 89.22% belonging to the good category, the percentage of completeness of students namely 100% has reached the set target of 70%. From the results of the research findings above, it can be concluded that by applying the Demonstration learning model to the Basic Competence of Drawing Letters, Numbers and Etiquette in Technical Drawings, it can improve student learning outcomes for class X-BKP SMK Negeri 1 Hiliserangkai for the 2022/2023 Academic Year.

Abstract

Implementation and Supervision of Construction and Property is an important subject to be mastered by students at school. But in fact, Class XI students at SMK Negeri 1 Hiliserangkai experience problems in this study, namely the application of the Cooperative Script learning model has not been optimally implemented. So that student learning outcomes in the basic competency of Understanding the Concept of Implementation and Supervision of Building Construction Work are still relatively low and do not meet the specified Minimum Completeness Criteria is 70. The objectives of this study are (1) To describe the implementation of the learning process by applying the Cooperative Script learning model, ( 2) To find out the increase in student learning outcomes in basic competencies Understanding the Concept of Implementation and Supervision of Building Construction Work in Class XI of the Construction and Property Business Department of SMK Negeri 1 Hiliserangkai through the application of the Cooperative Script learning model. This type of research is Classroom Action Research. This research was conducted at SMK Negeri 1 Hiliserangkai with research subjects in class XI students of the Construction and Property Business Department semester I of the 2022/2023 academic year with a total of 12 students. Research instruments (1) Observation sheets consist of (a) observation sheets (Teacher Respondents) (b) Observation sheets of students' activeness in the learning process. (2) Learning achievement test (3) Photo documentation. The results of the study (1) the first cycle (1) the average observation of the learning process (teacher respondents) was 78.12%, (2) the average observation of student activity in the learning process was 60.15% had not reached the specified target, the average -the average student learning outcomes of 67.5% are classified as sufficient categories, the percentage of student learning completeness is 25%. (2) Cycle II (1) the average observation of the learning process (teacher respondents) was 95.31%, (2) the average observation of student activity was 78.9%, the average student learning outcomes was 92.52% classified as very good category, the percentage of student learning completeness is 100%, has reached the set target of 70%. From the results of the research above, it can be concluded that by applying the Cooperative Script Learning Model to the Basic Competency of Understanding the Concept of Implementation and Supervision of Building Construction Work it can improve student learning outcomes for Class XI students of SMK Negeri 1 Hiliserangkai in the 2022/2023 Academic Year.

Abstract

The problem in this study is that the Student Facilitator and Explaining learning model has not been optimally applied to the Basic Competence of Applying Concepts and Rules of Types of Lines in Technical Drawings and student learning outcomes are only limited to achieving KKM, namely 70. Research objectives: (1) To describe the learning process by using apply the Student Facilitator and Explaining learning model to the Basic Competency of Applying Concepts and Rules of Types of Lines in Technical Drawings at SMK Negeri 1 Lotu for the 2022/2023 Academic Year, and (2) To find out student learning outcomes in the Basic Competency of Applying Type Concepts and Rules -Types of Lines in Technical Drawings at SMK Negeri 1 Lotu for the 2022/2023 Academic Year. This type of research is Classroom Action Research (CAR). This research was conducted at SMK Negeri 1 Lotu with research subjects of class X DPIB, totaling 22 people. The instruments in this study were observation sheets of the learning process (teacher respondents), student activity observation sheets, photo documentation, and student practical activity tests. Research results: (1) In cycle I (First) the average percentage of observations in the learning process (teacher respondents) is 62.50%, the average percentage of observations of student activity is 53.13%, the average learning outcomes is 65.07 with a percentage of student completeness of 45% and this result has not reached the target that has been set, namely 70. (2) While in cycle II (two) the average percentage of observations in the learning process (teacher respondents) is 85.71%, the average – the average percentage of observations of student activity is 82.10%, the average calculated student learning outcomes is 82.99 which is categorized as good with a complete percentage of student learning outcomes of 100% and has reached the set target of 70. From the research findings above it can be concluded that by applying the Student Facilitator and Explaining learning model to the subject of Technical Drawing Basic Competency Applying Concepts and Rules of Types of Lines in Technical Drawings and can improve student learning outcomes at SMK Negeri 1 Lotu.

Abstract

Technical drawing subject is one of the subjects at SMK Negeri 1 Sitolu Ori expertise competency in Modeling Design and Building Information that encourages students to have good and precise drawing skills. Students are confused in drawing a part of the building, and students have difficulty understanding the details of drawing parts. The purpose of this research is to improve the use of learning media in form of video tutorials based on AutoCAD applications on the material of the types of drawing parts. The model used in this research is Sugiyono's development model, the first step of potential and problems obtained through observation, the second step of collecting information to obtain various information of data, the third step of product design which it is method of making / designing products, the fourth step of design validation is carried out by validators, the fifth step of design revision is carried out from assessment results from the validators, the sixth step of product trials involving students and teachers to assess the products developed and the seventh step of revision of product trial results is carried out by finishing the product. Based on results of research, the learning media developed has been tested and assessed by validators with the acquisition of scores from media experts 92.94%, material experts 95.29%, and linguists 100% with very feasible to use, then the media is very practical to use by students with a percentage of 83.3% and a percentage of the involved teacher of 89.23%. The media is also effective to use with a percentage of completeness of 81.82%. As the results of this research, the learning media developed based on the AutoCAD program application has met the research objectives
