<![CDATA[Enthusiastic people about artistry in Pekanbaru progressively increasing. It is characterized by the presence of music festivals and other art events in the frequency of routine in Pekanbaru. This phenomenon is inversely proportional to the infrastructure that supports arts activities. Beside it, performing arts venues are now insufficient to meet the needs of visitors and not the maximum in the public interest will be art. In the construction of the Opera House was not spared from its impact on the surrounding environment. Construction, operation and demolition are responsible for some of the effect that occurs in nature such as greenhouse gas emissions, declining air quality, a lack of groundwater flow and depletion of natural resources. Seeing the impact that occurs from the current development are not concerned with the environmental aspects it is fitting the concept of eco-architecture applied to the foundation of the current development. Opera House is using the concept of Eco-Building Perform meaningful combination of the results of space created from the activities and the natural surroundings which are both interconnected to create a building that can provide and benefit from the surrounding environment.Key word: Opera House, Perform Eco-Building, Eco-Architecture.]]>

<![CDATA[The traditional dance has preserved and developed in Pekanbaru. Dance as art in Pekanbaru is supported by students and artists, so that it can be developing until now. Dance studio in pekanbaru presented to gather the dance community and as a place for the artists to practice. Therefore, it needed a place that collected the art dance community and dance artist to practice in large numbers. Dance studio was facilitated to all dance activities. The concept of modern building that introduced and demonstrated the dance widely. Dance studio in pekanbaru used eco-architecture themes in design paradigm. The ecology architecture implemented in landscape, interior and building facade. Ecology architecture as approach in the design of the building was produced the concept of eco movement that meant movement & ecology. There were three ways to created room and motion pattern, the line, volume and level. Dance studio in pekanbaru has six mass of buildings which located near to each other, to access all of the buildings, users can be used the connecting bridge. The room at dance studio in pekanbaru had numerous openings luminance space to give the effect of natural lighting and natural atmosphere into the building. <![CDATA[Pacu Jalur tourism is a ethnic tour owned by Kuantan Singingi Regency. Historically Pacu Jalur itself means to unite all the people of Kuantan Singingi with compactness. But it is still not yet optimally in terms of facilities and containers to perform this particular culture, in order to give the impression as well as the meaning and able to entertain as a tourism area. Moving on from the problems, expected the arrangement of tourism area is to be a real solution to support the infrastructure of existing ethnic tour in Kuantan Singingi. The reason of the title above is not maximal utilization of tourism area Pacu Jalur which is a tourism icon of Kuantan Singingi Regency, causing a lack of infrastructure and public understanding of the Pacu Jalur. Reason of traditional architecture theme to increase tourism potential and well communicate about Pacu Jalur through traditional character of Godang House. To realize the concept that in the arrangement is Symbiosis of History and the Present and Symbiosis of Tradition and Modern Architecture, which connects to between the characters of Godang Houses, Pacu Jalur and tourist activity to the Arrangement of Tourism Area Arena Pacu Jalur in Kuantan Singingi. <![CDATA[As one of the developing cities, Pekanbaru has been done international relations with other countries in economical, social, and political sectors. It also affects the education sector, and therefore it needs the proper tools to facilitate educational activities in Pekanbaru city. The international school is an educational facility that implements an international curriculum in the teaching system, also has been recognized internationally as well as produces Certified International graduates. This international school has applied the principles of eco-architecture with purpose keeping the designed building has more synergy, considering the environment condition. However, in aiming more in specific concept, it applies the concept of “Holistic” which is the combination of the design criteria of ecological design. Holistic in ecological design is aimed at the principles as follows: (1) energy saving; (2) sensitive to climate; (3) eco-friendly. This International School fulfills all the criteria that appropriate with the curriculum also facilities of educational standards and infrastructure nationally as well as the implementation of the concept that is used to create an international school which refers to ecological architecture.Keywords: Pekanbaru as a developing city, Educational Facility, International School, Eco-architecture, Holistic.]]>

<![CDATA[Biomaterial substance is needed by citizen, but the suplayed is limited and expansive. It become inspirations give new efisience inovations biomaterial subtance from nature. For that research is done which has purpose to make biomaterial subtance from eggsheld waste and mud. Method which is used are nanocomposite CaO/SiO2 syntesis and mix by ratio 2:1., than calcinations by temperature 700oC, 800oC, 900oC, than caracterize use hardness vickers, SEM, BET test. The result of caracteritation of show that at 900oC the quality highest hardness receand is 109,1 ± 5,22 VHN. Than microstructure where in this temperature granula which clod and became bigger the pore little. Where as for its porositation analyzed at this temperature of surface value is 23.843 m2/g and pore volume is 0.007 cc/g. From the analysis can get conclutions that the increasing by temperature of calcinations coused hardness quality increase and influence microstructure also surface area at the sample surface.]]>

<![CDATA[Currently, floriculture is a significant agribusiness commodity in Indonesia, especially in Pekanbaru. Floriculture is enjoyed in the form of its beauty, therefore the demands for quality are very high. Cultivating various types of floriculture can be a very prospective agribusiness business for today's society. The lack of public awareness of the importance of a fresh environment can affect the increasing demand for floriculture crops, especially during the Covid-19 Pandemic, some people in Pekanbaru recently chose to increase their busyness by planting floriculture. So a Floriculture Center was designed in Pekanbaru, where Pekanbaru is a suitable location for the breeding of floriculture plants which generally have a tropical climate. The design object is integrated with the application of the Permaculture Principles. A theme that holds true to the principles of balance and sustainability. Thus, the Floriculture Center is a center that accommodates facilities in the form of educational and recreational facilities related to the cultivation and development of Floricultural plants. <![CDATA[Economic growth in Dumai City induce the business world characterized by the growth of industrial companies in the region. This affects the growth of the property sector, one of which is the increase in demand for office space and facilities. The Rent Office in Dumai is a means by which companies are directed against the run of office management to improve both the economic sector of the company itself as well as the economic territory of the Dumai city. In the design of the Rent Office, design approach emphasizes the design principles of eco-architecture with the aim of building a more designed to work together in an effort to notice the condition of the surrounding environment. But to direct more into the design of this specific concept then applied the concept of "eco-radial" which is the combination concept of ecological design criteria for the design and implementation of a radial pattern to the transformation of the building mass. Ecology has design principles such as: (1) Save energy, (2) Natural Esthetics; (3) Natural aeration; (4) Responsive to the orientation of the Sun, and (5) Humanism. then fitting when in the wake of Dumai in office rents must have criteria that meet the needs of companies in Dumai and also with the application of this concept can realize the rental office that leads to sustainable development (sustainable design).Keywords: Rent Office. Disaster Management Training Center in Riau is designed as aplace of education, training, and recreation in the field of disaster mitigation. This training centeraccommodate all disaster simulation activities either indoor or outdoor. The Disaster ManagementTraining Centre approaches Eco Architecture as the design theme. Not only space in outer spacebut also applying the principles of Eco Architecture. Disaster Management Training Centre toapply the concept of solidarity and humanity are qualities that should be possessed by humans.Solidarity and Humanity selected as a draft so that this region can later make a high level ofawareness of fellow human beings. Disaster Management Training Center in Riau has fourbuilding mass by applying the concept of solidarity and humanity as the basis for the formation andbuilding mass. <![CDATA[Learning Model studio known as Studio - Based Learning (SBL) has the main features hands-on or first hand experience or learning by doing. Ideally, most of the SBL activities, either individually or in groups, conducted in a studio which was accompanied by a number of teachers / assistants. Student’s evaluation efficiently when using the method of correlational research conducted with data collection and analysis of questionnaire data with the statistics. Questions in the questionnaire were arranged by following structure: the ability of professors, lecturer’s attitudes, organization of the studio system, the ability of students, and student attitudes. Penelitian Tindakan Kelas (PTK) was conducted on students of Architectural Engineering, Faculty of Engineering UR S1 are taking courses in Architectural Design Studio 2010/2011 academic year, are 22 students. Four cycles of study procedures are planning, action, observation and reflection. Quantitive analysis was used to data analysis. The result of the research was the assessment of knowledge of the supervisor, supervisor attitudes, and the studio administration systems are good category. ]]>

<![CDATA[The urban grew along with the growing economic and technological developments. Medan city developed along with the rate of economic growth, social and physical development of cities experiencing the dynamics from time to time in accordance with conditions of development. The rise of outdoor billboards in the city of Medan show high interest in the billboard business people who were involved in the creative industries due to the high demand of the market who want to promote the product through media advertising campaign. This is due to the type of media is very effective and efficient in delivering a product message that will be presented to potential customers who do not have many opportunities to make use of other promotions. The purpose of this study is to establish the placement of billboards deployment area. This study focuses on the corridor leading to the city core (Merdeka field) with respect to some criteria such as protocol roads area, the region's historic, commercial and business district, residential areas and areas of government. ---Kota tumbuh bersamaan dengan tumbuhnya perkembangan ekonomi dan teknologi. Kota Medan berkembang seiring dengan tingkat pertumbuhan ekonomi, sosial dan pembangunan fisik kota yang mengalami dinamika dari waktu ke waktu sesuai dengan kondisi perkembangan. Maraknya reklame luar ruang di Kota Medan menunjukkan tingginya minat pelaku bisnis reklame yang terjun dalam bentuk industri kreatif yang disebabkan tingginya permintaan pasar yang ingin mempromosikan produk melalui media promosi reklame. Hal ini disebabkan jenis media ini sangat efektif dan efisien dalam menyampaikan pesan produk yang akan disampaikan kepada konsumen potensial yang tidak memiliki banyak kesempatan memanfaatkan media promosi lainnya. Tujuan dilakukannya kajian ini adalah menetapkan kawsan penyebaran peletakan reklame. Identifikasi ini menitikberatkan pada koridor yang menuju inti kota (lapangan Merdeka) dengan memperhatikan beberapa kriteria seperti kawasan jalan protokol, kawasan bersejarah, kawasan komersial dan bisnis, kawasan perumahan dan kawasan pemerintahan. ]]>
