Abstract

Penelitian ini dilakukan karena penggunaan bahasa Indonesia di Brebes masih belum terbiasa, khususnya pada keluarga marginal. Penggunaan bahasa Indonesia sangat penting bagi masyarakat dalam membantu komunikasi yang baik. Bahasa dapat dikatakan sebagai wujud yang tidak dapat dipisahkan dari kehidupan masyarakat. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengetahui penggunaan bahasa Indonesia dan dampak penggunaan bahasa Indonesia pada keluarga marginal di Brebes. Metode yang digunakan deskriptif kualitatif. Teknik pengumpulan data berupa angket dan penelitian lapangan dengan memperoleh 35 responden. Hasil penelitian ini menunjukan penggunaan bahasa Indonesia pada masyarakat marginal di Brebes masih belum terbiasa, memperoleh 17% yang hanya menggunakan bahasa Indonesia. Adapun dampak penggunaan bahasa Indonesia pada keluarga marginal di Brebes hanya 26%, yaitu berdampak pada pekerjaan, dan pendidikan.

Abstract

Language is a connecting tool for humans in everyday life. In this world, of course, there are many languages, one of which is Indonesian. Indonesian aims to unite and make it easier to communicate between regional ethnic groups, because Indonesia has many different languages. The aim of this research was to describe, analyze and research the existence of Indonesian language use among marginalized communities in Demak. This research is qualitative with a descriptive approach. Data collection techniques through observation, distribution of questionnaires, interviews and documentation. Data analysis is carried out by presenting data in the form of tables and drawing conclusions. Based on the research results, it was found that marginalized communities in Demak only use Indonesian during formal activities or events. People in Demak tend to use regional languages or Javanese in their daily lives, this is because they feel more comfortable and proficient when communicating. Factors that influence the language use of marginalized communities in Demak, namely work factors and environmental factors.

Abstract

Abstrak Penelitian ini dilaksanakan dengan latar belakang adanya kurangnya pemahaman siswa terhadap materi teks deskripsi. Banyak siswa mengalami kesulitan dalam mengidentifikasi ciri-ciri teks deskripsi, memahami tujuan, mengenali struktur, serta menerapkan kaidah kebahasaan yang berlaku dalam teks deskripsi. Berdasarkan permasalahan tersebut, rumusan masalah yang diajukan dalam penelitian ini adalah bagaimana efektivitas penerapan teknik penugasan dalam pembelajaran menulis teks deskripsi pada siswa kelas VII SMP Negeri 2 Pancur Kabupaten Rembang Tahun Pelajaran 2022/2023. Tujuan utama penelitian ini adalah untuk mendeskripsikan secara rinci efektivitas teknik penugasan dalam meningkatkan keterampilan menulis teks deskripsi pada siswa di kelas VII SMP Negeri 2 Pancur Kabupaten Rembang Tahun Pelajaran 2022/2023. Jenis penelitian yang digunakan adalah eksperimen dengan pendekatan kuantitatif. Teknik pengambilan sampel menggunakan metode random sampling, di mana populasi penelitian mencakup seluruh siswa kelas VII di SMP Negeri 2 Pancur. Sampel yang terpilih adalah kelas VII-A sebagai kelompok eksperimen yang mendapat perlakuan dengan teknik penugasan, dan kelas VII-B sebagai kelompok kontrol yang tidak mendapatkan perlakuan serupa. Pengumpulan data dilakukan melalui teknik tes dan nontes, sedangkan analisis data menggunakan uji normalitas dan homogenitas untuk menguji hipotesis penelitian. Berdasarkan hasil perhitungan uji hipotesis, diperoleh nilai signifikansi (2-tailed) sebesar 0,002. Karena nilai sig. (2-tailed) sebesar 0,002 lebih kecil daripada nilai Alpha 0,05, maka Ho ditolak dan Ha diterima. Dengan demikian, dapat disimpulkan bahwa terdapat perbedaan yang signifikan antara kemampuan menulis teks deskripsi dengan menggunakan teknik penugasan dan tanpa menggunakan teknik tersebut. Temuan ini menegaskan bahwa penerapan teknik penugasan efektif dalam meningkatkan keterampilan menulis teks deskripsi siswa kelas VII-B SMP Negeri 2 Pancur Kabupaten Rembang pada Tahun Pelajaran 2022/2023. KATA KUNCI: Keefektifan, Teknik Penugasan, Teks Deskripsi Abstract This study was motivated by students’ limited understanding of descriptive text material. Many students faced difficulties in identifying the characteristics of descriptive texts, understanding their purpose, recognizing the text structure, and applying the appropriate linguistic features. Based on these issues, the research question formulated was: How effective is the assignment technique in teaching descriptive text writing to seventh-grade students of SMP Negeri 2 Pancur, Rembang Regency, in the 2022/2023 academic year? The primary objective of this research was to describe the effectiveness of using the assignment technique in improving students’ descriptive text writing skills at SMP Negeri 2 Pancur, Rembang Regency, during the 2022/2023 academic year. This study employed an experimental method with a quantitative approach. The sampling technique used was random sampling, with the research population consisting of all seventh-grade students at SMP Negeri 2 Pancur. The selected sample consisted of class VII-A as the experimental group, which was taught using the assignment technique, and class VII-B as the control group, which did not receive the same treatment. Data were collected through test and non-test methods, and data analysis involved tests of normality and homogeneity to verify the research hypothesis. The results of the hypothesis testing showed that the significance value (2-tailed) was 0.002. Since the significance value of 0.002 was lower than the Alpha level of 0.05, the null hypothesis (Ho) was rejected and the alternative hypothesis (Ha) was accepted. Therefore, it can be concluded that there is a significant difference between students’ descriptive text writing skills using the assignment technique and those without it. These findings confirm that applying the assignment technique is effective in enhancing the descriptive text writing abilities of seventh-grade students at SMP Negeri 2 Pancur, Rembang Regency, in the 2022/2023 academic year. Abstract

The Real Work Lecture Program conducted by Group 5 has the goal of socializing and striving to increase public awareness in Sumber Jaya Village, especially in RW 034 in terms of clean-living behavior and prevention of Dengue Hemorrhagic Fever (DHF). The KKN program that will be carried out consists of the main activities in the form of community service, socialization about a healthy environment and dengue disease as well as the provision of lavender plants, making plant naming around the RW 034 post with QR Code, socialization for children with piggy bank painting media, and making an inorganic waste bank. Through these programs, it is hoped that it can increase public awareness of healthy living with a clean environment, expand public knowledge about dengue disease more deeply, use technology media in the form of SCcan QR Code as a development of education for local residents about plants and their uses, increase awareness of clean living for children from an early age, and foster awareness of the importance of waste management to support efforts to improve lives healthy in preventing dengue. From the activities that have been carried out, it turns out that the KKN carried out by Group 5 in Sumber Jaya village has succeeded in having a positive impact on the community and the environment.

Abstract

Telah dilakukan penelitian untuk menganalisis solusi persamaan Burger dengan menggunakan transformasi Hopf-Cole. Penelitian ini dilatarbelakangi oleh perbedaan solusi yang diperoleh pada persamaan Burger saat mekanisme penyelesaian persamaan ini menggunakan transformasi Hopf-Cole dilandaskan pada transformasi Fourier dan separasi variabel (deret Fourier). Penelitian ini dilakukan dengan mencari solusi persamaan Burger menggunakan transformasi Hopf-Cole melalui mekanisme penyelesaian yang berlandaskan pada transformasi Fourier dan separasi variabel (deret Fourier). Berdasarkan analisis solusi soliton pada persamaan Burger, hanya mekanisme penyelesaian yang berlandaskan transformasi Fourier yang berhasil menemukan solusi soliton walaupun hanya stabil dalam selang waktu 0.1 s. Mekanisme penyelesaian yang berlandaskan separasi variabel (deret Fourier) menghasilkan solusi periodik berupa gelombang meluruh terhadap waktu.Kata kunci: deret Fourier, persamaan Burger, soliton, transformasi Hopf-Cole, transformasi Fourier

Abstract

Solitons are wave phenomena or pulses that can maintain their shape stability when propagating in a medium. In optical fibers, they become general solutions of the Non-Linear Schrödinger Equation (NLSE). Despite its mathematical complexity, NLSE has been an interesting issue. Soliton analysis and mathematical techniques to solve problems of the equation keep doing. Yan & Chen (2022) introduced them based on bilinear formula for the case of the generalized NLSE extended models into third and fourth-order dispersions and cubic-quintic nonlinearity. In this paper, we review the form of the bilinear formula for the case. We re-observed a one-soliton solution based on the formula and verified the work of the last researcher. Here, the mathematical parameters of position α(0) and phase η are verified to become features of change in horizontal position and phase of one soliton in the (z, t) plane during propagation. In addition, we notice the soliton has established stability. Finally, for the condition Kerr effect focusing or the group velocity dispersion β2 more dominates, we present like the soliton trains in optical fibers under modulation instability of plane wave.

Abstract

This study aims to analyze the implementation of the Assalafie Babakan Mobile application in managing administration in an Islamic boarding school. This application is designed to improve efficiency and transparency and facilitate communication between Islamic boarding school administrators, guardians of students, and students. In this study, a qualitative approach was used to understand the application's process. Data were collected through interviews, observations, and documentation. The data analysis process was carried out in several stages: data reduction, data presentation, analysis of findings, and conclusion. The study results showed that the implementation of this application succeeded in improving the management of Islamic boarding school administration, facilitating communication, and monitoring student development. This application also provides convenience in managing student data more efficiently and in an organized manner. This application positively contributes to the digitalization process in Islamic boarding schools, especially in more structured administrative management. The implication of this study is the importance of digital transformation in Islamic boarding school educational institutions to improve managerial and operational quality. This study also provides insight for other educational institutions that want to develop similar digital systems to improve administrative management and communication with related stakeholders.

Abstract

Pembelajaran berdiferensiasi adalah proses kegiatan belajar mengajar yang disesuaikan dengan karakteristik unik setiap peserta didik. Masalah utama yang dihadapi dalam melakukan pembelajaran berdiferensiasi adalah guru kesulitan memahami perbedaan pemahaman siswa dalam mata pelajaran informatika. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk membandingkan algoritma K-means, Fuzzy C-means, dan Hierarchical clustering dalam mengelompokkan siswa berdasarkan nilai akademik, menggunakan data nilai harian, pengetahuan dan nilai keterampilan dari siswa kelas X di SMK Citra Nusantara. Kontribusi penelitian ini adalah penggunaan pembobotan pada parameter yang digunakan untuk meningkatkan hasil klasterisasi, pembobotan yang digunakan meliputi nilai harian 0,2, pengetahuan 0,4, dan keterampilan 0,4 jika menggunakan 3 parameter, nilai harian memiliki bobot lebih kecil, jika menggunakan 2 parameter pembobotan akan disesuaikan sehingga maksimal bobot adalah 1. Evaluasi yang digunakan yaitu Silhouette Index, Calinski-Harabasz Index dan Davies-Bouldin Index. Hasil penelitian menunjukan metode k-means lebih baik dari Fuzzy C-means dan Hierarchical. Silhouette Index dipandang paling ideal karena menilai dua aspek sekaligus yaitu cohesion (kekompakan dalam klaster) dan separation (pemisahan antar klaster). Kombinasi Silhouette Index, Davies-Bouldin Index, dan Calinski-Harabasz Index tetap diperlukan untuk mendapatkan hasil yang terbaik. Hasil pengujian k-means dengan evaluasi Silhouette Index, Davies-Bouldin Index, dan Calinski-Harabasz Index secara berurutan yaitu: 0,350125, 0,822452, 1157,806. Nilai terbaik dua klaster tersebut menghasilkan siswa dengan klaster “baik sekali” dan “baik”.
