Abstract

This study aims to determine how the Direct Method is applied in learning Arabic at the Ta'mirul Islamic Islamic Boarding School in Surakarta and also the factors that support its success. There is a problem behind the researchers because the Ta'mirul Islam Islamic Boarding School has been designed to use Arabic and English as a language to communicate, practice speaking skills without using the mother tongue, and also the importance of using methods in learning, especially in the use of the Direct Method. This study uses a qualitative method with a descriptive type of research that is by observing a phenomenon to understand a symptom. This study uses the theory of Miles and Huberman, namely data analysis in 3 ways, namely: data reduction, data presentation, and conclusions. The data obtained by the researcher is by means of observation, interviews, and documentation. The results of the research that have been obtained are the application of the Direct Method (Direct Method) in learning Arabic starting from the making of the syllabus, I'dadu tadris, the process of implementing learning, and also evaluating verbally and in writing at the end of learning. The supporting factors are Factors located in the cottage environment, Arabic language teaching teachers, the selection of learning methods and media, supporting facilities and infrastructure, interest in students and motivation given by teachers, additional extracurricular activities in the cottage.

Abstract

The Indonesian education system that has changed since the Covid-19 outbreak has caused changes in today's educational life. One of the problems that stand out is the inadequacy of distance learning which is currently being felt by the world of education in Indonesia. This distance learning teacher is required to prepare to learn as well and as creatively as possible in providing material. This distance learning process does not only involve teachers and students but also parents are required to be involved in this distance learning process.This study aims (1) to describe the pattern of distance learning towards Arabic lessons at SMP Muhammadiyah 8 Kebakkramat (2) to identify the obstacles found during the pattern being applied to distance learning at SMP Muhammadiyah 8 KebakkramatThis study uses a qualitative descriptive approach, the research subjects are Arabic Language Teacher, Deputy Head of Curriculum, and researchers also conducted research on several students in each class at SMP Muhammadiyah 8 Kebakkramat. The data collection method used in this research is the observation method, the interview method, and the documentation method. Data analysis in this study is qualitative data analysis.The results showed that (1) The pattern of distance learning in Arabic subjects at SMP Muhammadiyah 8 Kebakkramat was carried out remotely using an online learning model. Learning to use applications, namely social media Whatsapp (2) The obstacles that greatly affect the distance learning process at SMP Muhammadiyah 8 Kebakkramat for Arabic subjects are network difficulties and the absence of internet quota.

Abstract

Keluarga merupakan lingkungan pertama kali yang memberikan pengaruh terhadap perilaku anak. Setiap anggota keluarga mempunyai peran penting terutama peran ayah dan ibu. Lingkungan sangat besar pengaruhnya sebagai stimulus dalam perkembangan anak. Orang tua mempunyai peranan yang sangat besar dalam pembentukan karakter anak. Sosok seorang ayah di Indonesia khususnya, identik sebagai pencari nafkah dalam keluarga. Sedangkan ibu adalah pendidik anak di dalam rumah, maka tak heran jika orang terdekat bagi sebagian anak adalah ibu. Tetapi ternyata dalam islam, hubungan antara ayah dan anak sangat penting, bukan hanya sebagai pencari nafkah tetapi ayah juga menjadi sosok pendidik didalam rumah bahkan didalam al-Qur’an sendiri setidaknya ada 14 dialog antara ayah dan anak yang mengisyaratkan pentingnya peran ayah dalam membentuk karakter anak. Maka menarik bagi penulis untuk meneliti tentang konsep pendidikan karakter dalam sebuah tesis yang berjudul “Studi Komparasi Tafsir al-Qur’anul Azhim dan Al-Azhar Terhadap Surah Luqman Ayat 12-14 (Peran Ayah Dalam Pendidikan Karakter Anak).” Penelitian ini menggunakan paradigma kualitatif. Adapun jenis penelitian yang dilakukan adalah studi pustaka. Karena obyek utama dalam penelitian ini adalah ayat-ayat al-Qur’an, maka metode penelitian yang digunakan adalah metode tafsir muqarin atau komparatif. Teknik dalam mengumpulkan data sebagai bahan penelitian dengan menggunakan teknik dokumentasi. Analisis data dalam penelitian ini menggunakan teknik analisis isi/kajian isi. Pada penelitian, ini uji kredibilitas yang digunakan peneliti adalah triangulasi. Hasil penafsiran peran ayah dalam pendidikan karakter anak menurut prespektif Tafsir al-Qur’anul Azhim karya Ibnu Katsir dan Tafsir Al-Azhar karya Buya Hamka dalam menafsirkan surah Luqman ayat 12-14, adalah : Dalam surah Luqman ayat 12, peran ayah terhadap pendidikan karakter anak adalah sebagai orang yang berilmu pengetahuan (alim). Pada ayat 13 peran ayah terhadap pendidikan karakter anaknya adalah sebagai mauizah yaitu memberikan nasehat-nasehat yang baik kepada anaknya tentang kebaikan dan menanamkan tauhid yang benar kepada anaknya. Beribadah hanya kepada Allah dan tidak mensyirikannya dengan sesuatu apapun. Pada ayat 14 peran ayah ialah sebagai ta’dib yaitu mengajarkan adab yang baik kepada anak berupa bagaimana cara memperlakukan orang tua dengan sebaik-baiknya.

Abstract

Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengetahui konsep fitrah based education pada pendidikan anak usia dini. Metode yang digunakan dalam penelitian ini adalah metode library research dengan jenis penelitian kualitatif non interaktif. Teknik pengumpulan data menggunakan teknik dokumentasi, instrumen penelitian menggunakan human instrument. Analisis data yang digunakan yakni analisis deskriptif dan analisis isi (Content Analysys). Langkah penelitian dalam library research ini antara lain: (1) Pemilihan topik, (2) Mengeksplorasi informasi, (3) Menentukan fokus penelitian, (4) Pengumpulan sumber data, (5) Persiapan penyajian data, (6) Penyusunan laporan. Berdasarkan hasil penelitian konsep fitrah based education pada pendidikan anak usia dini dimulai dengan langkah yaitu tazkiyatunnafsi dan menyatukan visi misi keluarga. Rancangan kegiatan yang dilakukan kepada anak dituangkan ke dalam framework FBE dengan metode dan subyek secara khusus. Sebagai orang tua atau pendidik memiliki khusus kegiatan bagi anak dengan jurnal kegiatan.

Abstract

Utilization of ICT in learning is the teacher's effort to provide interesting and enjoyable learning.  In early childhood, fun activities are needed to attract their interest in learning. Early age is a golden age during a child's development, this period is a phase where the child's growth develops very rapidly. Within this age range, education determines the child's next stage of development. The aim of this research is to determine the use of ICT as a learning medium for early childhood, where ICT is an interesting and enjoyable alternative learning medium that is of interest to children at Aisyiyah Bustanul Athfal II Kindergarten, Kupang City. This research uses qualitative research with case study design. This research focuses on the use of ICT as a learning medium at Aisyiyah Bustanul Athfal II Kindergarten, Kupang City. The findings from this research show that Aisyiyah Bustanul Athfal II Kindergarten students are very happy with the use of ICT as a learning medium, but the obstacle faced by schools is that there are some teachers who are not yet able to use ICT, but this obstacle can be minimized with the help of other teachers when learning.

Abstract

The use of Islamic Religious Education (PAI) learning media based on Information and Communication Technology (ICT) has become the main focus in increasing the effectiveness of the learning process in the digital era. This research aims to identify problems that arise in the application of ICT-based PAI learning media, as well as uncovering potential solutions to improve the quality of its use. This research uses a qualitative method with a descriptive-analytical approach by collecting data through observation, interviews and literature study. The research results show several problems faced in using ICT-based PAI learning media, including teachers' lack of technological understanding and skills, limited student access to technology, and challenges in integrating religious values ​​in a digital context. Solution approaches are proposed to overcome these problems, including intensive training for teachers in integrating technology into the learning process, developing PAI digital content that is in line with the curriculum and religious values, as well as increasing student access to technology through supportive school policies.

Abstract

Penelitian ini dimaksudkan untuk mengungkap bagaimana pola pendidikan karakter dalam al-Qur’an berdasarkan urutan turunnya wahyu. Jenis penelitian ini adalah penelitian kepustakaan (Library Research). Pendekatan yang digunakan dalam penelitian ini adalaha pendekatan historis untuk melihat sosiologis-historis masyarakat arab pada masa turunnya wahyu dan pendekatan philologis untuk melilhat struktur kebahasan dalam al-Qur’an. Hasil penelitian ini menyimpulkan bahwa pola oprasional pendidikan karakter berbasis turunnnya wahyu al-Qur’an mencakup beberapa aspek: a) pendekatan yaitu pendekatan rasional kritis, humanistik religius, fungsional, pengalaman, emosional, dan, pendekatan keteladanan. b) Metode pendidikan meliputi metode kisah, metode targhib dan tarhib, metode observasi, metode diskusi, metode keteladanan. c) Proses pendidikan meliputi ishlah al-akhlaq al-nafsiyah, ishlah al-akhlaq al-ijtima’iyah, dan ishlah al-akhlaq as-asiyasiyah. d) Bentuk evaluasi yang Allah berikan kepada hambanya melalui serangkaian ujian-ujian, adakalanya Allah bahasakan dengan fitnah, bala’ ataupun hisab.

Abstract

This study examines the role of Islamic boarding schools in increasing community religiosity, with case studies at Al-Kahfi Randusari Islamic Boarding School and Alima Balong Qur'an Boarding School. The purpose of this study is to describe the strategy and impact of pesantren activities on the improvement of religious values in the surrounding community. This study uses a qualitative descriptive approach, with data collection techniques in the form of observation, in-depth interviews, and documentation. The subjects of the study include pesantren leaders, ustadz, students, and the community in the pesantren environment. The results of the study show that the two pesantren have an important role in shaping the religious character of the community through non-formal education, habituation of daily worship such as congregational prayers and tadarus, and strengthening morals and spiritual values. In addition, various socio-religious activities such as public recitation, social services, and Islamic-based skills training have also increased the active participation of the community in religious life. These efforts have proven effective in strengthening individual and collective religious behavior, building harmonious social relationships, and fostering a strong Islamic character in society. However, this study also found a number of obstacles, including limited human and material resources, as well as challenges in inviting the community to follow guidance consistently. The implications of these findings show the importance of close collaboration between Islamic boarding schools, community leaders, and related agencies to strengthen inclusive and adaptive da'wah to social dynamics. Thus, pesantren not only function as a religious education institution, but also as a center for sustainable community development and oriented towards the formation of noble morals.
